1New vacuum solar telescope and observations with high resolution显示文摘The New Vacuum Solar Telescope(NVST) is a one meter vacuum solar telescope that aims to observe fine structures on the Sun. The main goals of NVST are high resolution imaging and spectral observations, including measurements of the solar magnetic field. NVST is the primary ground-based facility used by the Chinese solar research community in this solar cycle. It is located by Fuxian Lake in southwest China, where the seeing is good enough to perform high resolution observations. We first introduce the general conditions at the Fuxian Solar Observatory and the primary science cases of NVST. Then, the basic structures of this telescope and instruments are described in detail. 2Biomarkers for individualized dosage adjustments in immunosuppressive therapy using calcineurin inhibitors after organ transplantation显示文摘Calcineurin inhibitors (CNIs), such as cyclosporine A and tacrolimus, are widely used immunosuppressive agents for the prevention of post-transplantation rejection and have improved 1-year graft survival rates by up to 90%. However, CNIs can induce severe reactions, such as acute or chronic allograft nephropathy, hypertension, and neurotoxicity. Because CNIs have varied bioavailabilities, narrow therapeutic ranges, and individual propensities for toxic effects, therapeutic drug monitoring is necessary for all CNIs. Identifying the genetic polymorphisms in drug-metabolizing enzymes will help to determine personalized dosage regimens for CNIs, as CNIs are substrates for CYP3A5 and P-glycoprotein (P-gp, MDR1). CNIs are often concomitantly administered with voriconazole or proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), giving rise to drug interaction problems. Voriconazole and PPIs can increase the blood concentrations of CNIs, and both are primarily metabolized by CYP2C19. Thus, it is expected that interactions between CNIs and voriconazole or PPI would be affected by CYP2C19 and CYP3A5 polymorphisms. CNI-induced acute kidney injury (AKI) is a serious complication of transplantations. Neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) and kidney injury molecule 1 (KIM-1) are noninvasive urinary biomarkers that are believed to be highly sensitive to CNI-induced AKI. In this article, we review the adverse events and pharmacokinetics of CNIs and the biomarkers related to CNIs, including CYP3A5, CYP2C19, MDR1, NGAL, and KIM-1. 3MicroTom Metabolic Network: Rewiring Tomato Metabolic Regulatory Network throughout the Growth Cycle显示文摘Tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)is a major horticultural crop worldwide and has emerged as a preeminent model for metabolic research.Although many research efforts have focused on the analysis of metabolite differences between varieties and species,the dynamics of metabolic changes during the tomato growth cycle and the regulatory networks that underlie these changes are poorly understood.In this study,we integrated high-resolution spatio-temporal metabolome and transcriptome data to systematically explore the metabolic landscape across 20 major tomato tissues and growth stages.In the resulting MicroTom Metabolic Network,the 540 detected metabolites and their co-expressed genes could be divided into 10 distinct clusters based on their biological functions.Using this dataset,we constructed a global map of the major metabolic changes that occur throughout the tomato growth cycle and dissected the underlying regulatory network.In addition to verifying previously well-established regulatory networks for important metabolites,we identified novel transcription factors that regulate the biosynthesis of important secondary metabolites such as steroidal glycoalkaloids and flavonoids.Our findings provide insights into spatiotemporal changes in tomato metabolism and generate a valuable resource for the study of metabolic regulatory processes in model plants.Yan Li Yang Chen Lu Zhou Shengjie You Heng Deng Ya Chen Saleh Alseekh Yong Yuan Rao Fu Zixin Zhang Dan Su Alisdair R.Fernie Mondher Bouzayen Tao Ma Mingchun Liu Yang Zhang 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,8:10
4Spatial Properties of Mismatch Negativity in Patients with Disorders of Consciousness显示文摘In recent decades, event-related potentials have been used for the clinical electrophysiological assessment of patients with disorders of consciousness(DOCs). In this paper, an oddball paradigm with two types of frequencydeviant stimulus(standard stimuli were pure tones of 1000 Hz; small deviant stimuli were pure tones of 1050 Hz; large deviant stimuli were pure tones of 1200 Hz) was applied to elicit mismatch negativity(MMN) in 30 patients with DOCs diagnosed using the JFK Coma Recovery ScaleRevised(CRS-R). The results showed that the peak amplitudes of MMN elicited by both large and small deviant stimuli were significantly different from baseline.In terms of the spatial properties of MMN, a significant interaction effect between conditions(small and large deviant stimuli) and electrode nodes was centered at the frontocentral area. Furthermore, correlation coefficients were calculated between MMN amplitudes and CRS-R scores for each electrode among all participants to generate topographic maps. Meanwhile, a significant negative correlation between the MMN amplitudes elicited by large deviant stimuli and the CRS-R scores was also found at the frontocentral area. 8Zero-order-free meta-holograms in a broadband visible range显示文摘The unwanted zero-order light accompanied by the birth of diffractive optical elements and caused mainly by fabrication errors and wavelength variations is a key factor that deteriorates the performance of diffraction-related optical devices such as holograms,gratings,beam shapers,beam splitters,optical diffusers,and diffractive microlenses.Here,inspired by the unique characteristic of nano-polarizer-based metasurfaces for both positive and negative amplitude modulation of incident light,we propose a general design paradigm to eliminate zero-order diffraction without burdening the metasurface design and fabrication.The experimentally demonstrated metahologram,which projects a holographic image with a wide angle of 70°×70°in the for field,presents a very low zero-order intensity(only 0.7%of the total energy of the reconstructed image).More importantly,the zero-orderfree meta-hologram has a large tolerance limit for wavelength variations(under a broadband illumination from520 to 660 nm),which brings important technical advances.The strategy proposed could significantly relieve the fabrication difficulty of metasurfaces and be viable for various diffractive-optics-related applications includingholography,laser beam shaping,optical data storage,vortex beam generation,and so on.RAO FU LIANGUI DENG ZHIQIANG GUAN SHENG CHANG JIN TAO ZILE LI GUOXING ZHENG 2020Photonics Research2020,8,5:5
9A New Species of Japalura(Squamata, Agamidae) from the Nu River Valley in Southern Hengduan Mountains, Yunnan, China显示文摘A population of Japalura from Yunnan Province, China, previously assigned to Japalura splendida, is described as a new species. The new species has been recorded between 1 138–2 500 m in the Nu River drainage between the towns of Liuku and Binzhongluo, and on the lower western slopes of the Nushan and eastern slopes of the Goaligongshan. The new species can be distinguished from other species of Japalura, except J. dymondi, by the following combination of characters: exposed tympani, prominent dorso-lateral stripes, and small gular scales. It is very similar with but differs from J. dymondi by having smooth or feebly keeled dorsal head scales, three relatively enlarged spines on either side of the post-occiput area, strongly keeled and mucronate scales on occiput area and within the lateral stripes, back of arm and leg green, higher number of dorsal-ridge scales(DS) and fourth toe subdigital scales(T4S). 13First light for the sodium laser guide star adaptive optics system on the Lijiang 1.8 m telescope显示文摘A first generation sodium Laser Guide Star Adaptive Optics System(LGS-AOS) was developed and integrated into the Lijiang 1.8 m telescope in 2013. The LGS-AOS has three sub-systems:(1) a 20 W long pulsed sodium laser,(2) a 300-millimeter-diameter laser launch telescope, and(3) a 37-element compact adaptive optics system. 16Effect of heat treatment on microstructures and properties of a novel Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy for oil drilling显示文摘In view of the special requirements for strength, heat resistance and corrosion resistance of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy for oil drilling, the Al-6.2 Zn-2.5 Mg-1.6 Cu alloy was prepared by increasing Cu content on basis of Russian Series 1953 alloy. The effect of heat treatment on the microstructures and properties of the alloy was characterized by optical microscope(OM), scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscope(TEM), and investigated by tensile test at room temperature, thermal exposure test and corrosion test. The results show that the strength after T6 aging treatment exhibit a decrease trend as an increase of the solution temperature from465 ℃ to 480 ℃. After the solution treated by the rate of 470 ℃/1 h, second phases dissolve into the matrix very well and the strength property reaches optimum. The alloy has better comprehensive properties treated by a solution treatment of 470 ℃/1 h and then followed by an aging treatment of 120 ℃/24 h + 170 ℃/1 h + 120 ℃/24 h. Under the aging state, the precipitated phases inside the grains are suitable in size, while on the grain boundary distribute discontinuously and the precipitate-free zone is obvious. Besides, the alloy still maintain high tensile properties. The yield strength, tensile strength and elongation are 650 MPa, 686 MPa,12.0%, respectively. The yield strength retention after heat exposure is 92%. The alloy has good corrosion resistance and the exfoliation corrosion degree. The average corrosion rate in the H2S and CO2 environment is 0.0024 mm/a, which is far less than the required 0.12 mm/a. 18Appropriate choice of collision-induced dissociation energy for qualitative analysis of notoginsenosides based on liquid chromatography hybrid ion trap time-of-flight mass spectrometry显示文摘Liquid chromatography hybrid ion trap/time-of-flight mass spectrometry possesses both the MS^n ability of ion trap and the excellent resolution of a time-of-flight and has been widely used to identify drug metabolites and determine trace multi-components in natural products. Collision energy, one of the most important factors in acquiring MS^n information, could be set freely in the range of 10%–400%. Herein, notoginsenosides were chosen as model compounds to build a novel methodology for the collision energy optimization. Firstly, the fragmental patterns of the representatives for the authentic standards of protopanaxadiol-type and protopanaxatriol-type notoginsenosides were obtained based on accurate MS^2 and MS^3 measurements via liquid chromatography hybrid ion trap/time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The extracted ion chromatograms of characteristic product ions of notoginsenosides in Panax Notoginseng Extract were produced under a series of collision energies and compared to screen the optimum collision energies values for MS^2 and MS^3. The results demonstrated that the qualitative capability of liquid chromatography hybrid ion trap/time-of-flight mass spectrometry was greatly influenced by collision energies, and 50% of MS^2 collision energy was found to produce the highest collision-induced dissociation efficiency for notoginsenosides.
