2Effect of Heat Treatment on Cu Distribution,Antibacterial Performance and Cytotoxicity of Ti-6Al-4V-5Cu Alloy显示文摘A copper-bearing Ti-6AI-4V-5Cu alloy was processed and subjected to different heat treatments to explore the relationship among microstructure,antibacterial performance,and cytocompatibility.Characterization of microstructure revealed that the solution treated alloy consisted of α phase,α' phase and(3 phase,while besides these phases,the aged alloy also contained the precipitations of intermetallic Ti_2Cu compound.The solution treated alloy showed better antibacterial performance with increasing the solution temperature.The Cu ions released from Ti—6AI—4V—5Cu alloy could effectively inhibit the formation of bacterial biofilm on the surface of alloy,and do not induce any cytotoxicity.The optimal heat treatment for Ti-6Al-4V-5Cu alloy was solution treated at 930 C,at which it could exhibit both promising antibacterial performance and no cytotoxicity.Zheng Ma Ling Ren Rui Liu Ke Yang Yu Zhang Zhenhua Liao Weiqiang Liu Min Qi R.D.K.Misra 2015Journal of Materials Science & Technology2015,31,7:10
3Genetic-algorithm-based deep neural networks for highly efficient photonic device design显示文摘While deep learning has demonstrated tremendous potential for photonic device design,it often demands a large amount of labeled data to train these deep neural network models.Preparing these data requires high-resolution numerical simulations or experimental measurements and cost significant,if not prohibitive,time and resources.In this work,we present a highly efficient inverse design method that combines deep neural networks with a genetic algorithm to optimize the geometry of photonic devices in the polar coordinate system.The method requires significantly less training data compared with previous inverse design methods.We implement this method to design several ultra-compact silicon photonics devices with challenging properties including power splitters with uncommon splitting ratios,a TE mode converter,and a broadband power splitter.These devices are free of the features beyond the capability of photolithography and generally in compliance with silicon photonics fabrication design rules.YANGMING REN LINGXUAN ZHANG WEIQIANG WANG XINYU WANG YUFANG LEI YULONG XUE XIAOCHEN SUN WENFU ZHANG 2021Photonics Research2021,9,6:6
4Antibacterial Properties of Ti-6Al-4V-xCu Alloys显示文摘Surgical implant-associated bacterial infection is becoming a serious clinical problem.A series of copper-bearing titanium alloy,Ti—6AI—4V—xCu(x = 1,3,5 wt%),were fabricated in the present study in order to reduce the hazard of the bacterial infection problem by means of the strong antibacterial ability of Cu element.The metallography,X-ray diffraction,antibacterial ability,corrosion resistance and cytotoxicity of Ti—6AI—4V—xCu alloys were preliminarily studied with comparison to the commercial medical Ti—6AI—4V alloy.The Ti—6AI—4V—xCu alloys showed obvious antibacterial abilities with good corrosion resistance and cytocompatibility,and the antibacterial role was enhanced with increasing Cu content,which has significant potential for clinical applications as surgical implant materials.Ling Ren Zheng Ma Mei Li Yu Zhang Weiqiang Liu Zhenhua Liao Ke Yang 2014Journal of Materials Science & Technology2014,30,7:5

12Compiler testing: a systematic literature analysis显示文摘Compilers are widely-used infrastructures in accelerating the software development,and expected to be trustworthy.In the literature,various testing technologies have been proposed to guarantee the quality of compilers.However,there remains an obstacle to comprehensively characterize and understand compiler testing.To overcome this obstacle,we propose a literature analysis framework to gain insights into the compiler testing area.First,we perform an extensive search to construct a dataset related to compiler testing papers.Then,we conduct a bibliometric analysis to analyze the productive authors,the influential papers,and the frequently tested compilers based on our dataset.Finally,we utilize association rules and collaboration networks to mine the authorships and the communities of interests among researchers and keywords.Some valuable results are reported.We find that the USA is the leading country that contains the most influential researchers and institutions.The most active keyword is“random testing”.We also find that most researchers have broad interests within small-scale collaborators in the compiler testing area.Yixuan TANG Zhilei REN Weiqiang KONG He JIANG 2020Frontiers of Computer Science2020,14,1:0

14Nitrogen starvation induces genome-wide activation of transposable elements in Arabidopsis显示文摘Nitrogen(N)availability is a major limiting factor for plant growth and agricultural productivity.Although the gene regulation network in response to N starvation has been extensively studied,it remains unknown whether N starvation has an impact on the activity of transposable elements(TEs).Here,we report that TEs can be transcriptionally activated in Arabidopsis under N starvation conditions.Through genetic screening of idm1-14 suppressors,we cloned GLU1,which encodes a glutamate synthase that catalyzes the synthesis of glutamate in the primary N assimilation pathway.We found that glutamate synthase 1(GLU1)and its functional homologs GLU2 and glutamate transport 1(GLT1)are redundantly required for TE silencing,suggesting that N metabolism can regulate TE activity.Transcriptome and methylome analyses revealed that N starvation results in genome-wide TE activation without inducing obvious alteration of DNA methylation.Genetic analysis indicated that N starvationinduced TE activation is also independent of other well-established epigenetic mechanisms,including histone methylation and heterochromatin decondensation.Our results provide new insights into the regulation of TE activity under stressful environments in planta.Yue Wang Yi Liu Shaofeng Qu Wenjie Liang Linhua Sun Dong Ci Zhitong Ren Liu-Min Fan Weiqiang Qian 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,12:0
15A developed ant colony algorithm for cancer molecular subtype classification to reveal the predictive biomarker in the renal cell carcinoma显示文摘Background:Recently,researchers have been attracted in identifying the crucial genes related to cancer,which plays important role in cancer diagnosis and treatment.However,in performing the cancer molecular subtype classification task from cancer gene expression data,it is challenging to obtain those significant genes due to the high dimensionality and high noise of data.Moreover,the existing methods always suffer from some issues such as premature convergence.Methods:To address those problems,we propose a new ant colony optimization(ACO)algorithm called DACO to classify the cancer gene expression datasets,identifying the essential genes of different diseases.In DACO,first,we propose the initial pheromone concentration based on the weight ranking vector to accelerate the convergence speed;then,a dynamic pheromone volatility factor is designed to prevent the algorithm from getting stuck in the local optimal solution;finally,the pheromone update rule in the Ant Colony System is employed to update the pheromone globally and locally.To demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm in classification,different existing approaches are compared with the proposed algorithm on eight high-dimensional cancer gene expression datasets.Results:The experiment results show that the proposed algorithm performs better than other effective methods in terms of classification accuracy and the number of feature sets.It can be used to address the classification problem effectively.Moreover,a renal cell carcinoma dataset is employed to reveal the biological significance of the proposed algorithm from a number of biological analyses.Conclusion:The results demonstrate that CAPS may play a crucial role in the occurrence and development of renal clear cell carcinoma.ZEKUN XIN YUDAN MA WEIQIANG SONG HAO GAO LIJUN DONG BAO ZHANG ZHILONG REN 2023BIOCELL2023,47,3:0
16Monitoring and evaluation of disaster risk caused by linkage failure and instability of residual coal pillar and rock strata in multi-coal seam mining显示文摘Comprehensive research methods such as literature research,theoretical analysis,numerical simulations and field monitoring have been used to analyze the disasters and characteristics caused by the linkage failure and instability of the residual coal pillars-rock strata in multi-seam mining.The effective monitoring area and monitoring design method of linkage instability of residual coal pillar-rock strata in multi-seam mining have been identified.The evaluation index and the risk assessment method of disaster risk have been established and the project cases have been applied and validated.The results show that:①The coal pillar will not only cause disaster in singleseam mining,but also more easily cause disaster in multi-seam mining.The instability of coal pillars can cause not only dynamical disasters such as rock falls and mine earthquakes,but also cause surface subsidence and other disasters.②When monitoring the linkage instability of residual coal pillar-rock strata,it is not only necessary to consider the monitoring of the apply load body(key block),the transition body(residual coal pillar)and the carrier body(interlayer rock and working face),but also to strengthen the monitoring of the fracture development height(linkage body).③According to the principles of objectivity,easy access and quantification,combined with investigation,analysis,and production and geological characteristics of this mining area,the main evaluation indexes of the degree of disaster caused by linkage instability of residual coal pillar-rock strata are determined as:microseismic energy,residual coal pillar damage degree,fracture development height.And the evaluation index classification table was also given.④According to the measured value of the evaluation index,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to calculate the disaster risk degree in the studied mine belongs to class III,that is,medium risk level.The corresponding pressure relief technology was adopted on site,which achieved a good control effect,and also verified the accuracy and effectiveness of the risk evaluation results.Qing Ma Xiaoli Liu Yunliang Tan Yurui Wang Ruosong Wang Enzhi Wang Xuesheng Liu Zenghui Zhao Darui Ren Weiqiang Xie Ruipeng Qian Nan Hu 2023Geohazard Mechanics2023,1,4:0
17Two-step preparation of carbon nanotubes/Ru02/polyindole ternary nanocomposites and their application as high-performance supercapacitors显示文摘A ternary single-walled carbon nanotubes/RuO2/polyindole(SWCNT/RuO2/PIn)nanocomposite was fabricated by the oxidation polymerization of indole on the prefabricated SWCNT/RuO2 binary nanocomposites.The nanocomposite was measured by FTIR,XRD,SEM,TEM,EDS and XPS,together with the electrochemical technique.The electrochemical results demonstrated that the symmetric supercapacitor used SWCNT/RuO2/PIn as electrodes presented 95%retention rate after 10000 cycles,superior capacitive performance of1203 F·g^-1 at1 A·g^-1,and high energy density of 33 w h·kg^-1 at 5000 W·kg^-1.The high capacitance performance of SWCNT/RuO2/PIn nanocomposite was mainly ascribed to the beneficial cooperation effect among components.This indicated that the SWCNT/RuO2/PIn nanocomposite would be a good candidate for high-performance supercapacitors.Danhua ZHU Qianjie ZHOU Aiqin LIANG Weiqiang ZHOU Yanan CHANG Danqin LI Jing WU Guo YE Jingkun XU Yong REN 2020Frontiers of Materials Science2020,14,2:0
