1Simultaneous laparoscopy-assisted low anterior resection and distal gastrectomy for synchronous carcinoma of rectum and stomach显示文摘Laparoscopic resection of rectal cancer or gastric cancer has been advocated for the benefits of a reduced morbidity,a shorter treatment time,and similar outcomes.However,simultaneous laparoscopy-assisted low anterior resection and distal gastrectomy for synchronous carcinoma of rectum and stomach are rarely documented in literature.Endoscopic examination revealed a synchronous carcinoma of rectum and stomach in a 55-year-old male patient with rectal bleeding and epigastric discomfort.He underwent a simultaneous laparoscopy-assisted low anterior resection and distal gastrectomy with regional lymph nodes dissected.The operation time was 270 min and the estimated blood loss was 120 mL.The patient required parenteral analgesia for less than 24 h.Flatus was passed on postoperative day 3,and a solid diet was resumed on postoperative day 7.He was discharged on postoperative day 13.With the advances in laparoscopic technology and experience,simultaneous resection is an attractive alternative to a synchronous gastrointestinal cancer.Qian-Lin Zhu,Min-Hua Zheng,Bo Feng,Ai-Guo Lu,Min-Liang Wang,Jian-Wen Li,Wei-Guo Hu,Lu Zang,Zhi-Hai Mao,Feng Dong,Jun-Jun Ma,Ya-Ping Zong,Department of General Surgery,Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University Shanghai Minimally Invasive Surgery Center,Shanghai 200025,China 2008World Journal of Gastroenterology2008,14,21:11
2Hybrid post-processing effects of magnetic abrasive finishing and heat treatment on surface integrity and mechanical properties of additively manufactured Inconel 718 superalloys显示文摘Desired microstructure and surface integrity are critical to achieving the high performance of additively manufactured components.In the present work,the hybrid post-processes of magnetic abrasive finishing(MAF)and post-heat treatment(HT)were applied to the additively manufactured Inconel718 superalloys.Their hybrid effects and influencing mechanism on the surface quality and mechanical properties of the additively manufactured samples have been studied comparatively.The results show that the MAF process effectively reduces the surface roughness by more than an order of magnitude due to the flexibility and geometric consistency of the magnetic particles and abrasives with the finished surfaces.The proper sequence of MAF and HT obtains enhanced mechanical properties for the homogenized-MAF-aged sample with the yield strength of 1147 MPa,the ultimate tensile strength of 1334 MPa,and the elongation of 22.9%,which exceeds the standard wrought material.The surface integrity,compressive residual stress field,and grain refinement induced by the MAF and subsequent aging heat treatment increase the cracking resistance and delay the fracture failure,which significantly benefits the mechanical properties.The MAF process combined with proper post-heat treatment provides an effective pathway to improve the mechanical properties of additively manufactured materials.Kun Li Ruijin Ma Ming Zhang Wen Chen Xiaobin Li David Z.Zhang Qian Tang Lawrence E.Murr Jinfeng Li Huajun Cao 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,33:1

6Digital Twin-Assisted Knowledge Distillation Framework for Heterogeneous Federated Learning显示文摘In this paper,to deal with the heterogeneity in federated learning(FL)systems,a knowledge distillation(KD)driven training framework for FL is proposed,where each user can select its neural network model on demand and distill knowledge from a big teacher model using its own private dataset.To overcome the challenge of train the big teacher model in resource limited user devices,the digital twin(DT)is exploit in the way that the teacher model can be trained at DT located in the server with enough computing resources.Then,during model distillation,each user can update the parameters of its model at either the physical entity or the digital agent.The joint problem of model selection and training offloading and resource allocation for users is formulated as a mixed integer programming(MIP)problem.To solve the problem,Q-learning and optimization are jointly used,where Q-learning selects models for users and determines whether to train locally or on the server,and optimization is used to allocate resources for users based on the output of Q-learning.Simulation results show the proposed DT-assisted KD framework and joint optimization method can significantly improve the average accuracy of users while reducing the total delay.Xiucheng Wang Nan Cheng Longfei Ma Ruijin Sun Rong Chai Ning Lu 2023China Communications2023,20,2:0
7Détection de la Mutation du Gène hMLH1 Dans le Cancer Colo-rectal Parélectrophorèse Capilailre Associée a la Fluorescence Laser-Induite显示文摘Résumé: Objectif Lobjectif de ce travail est detablir une méthode danalyse du polymorphisme de la conformation monochaine (PCMC), capable de détecter la mutation ponctuelle du gène hMLH1 dans le cancer colique en utilisant l l ctrophor se capillaire associée a la fluorescence laser-induite (FLI-EC). Méthodes Les exons 12 du gène hMLH1 du sang périphérique de 42 patients de cancer colo-rectal sporadique et 20 sujets sains témoins sont amplifiés par la PCR. Le PCMC des produits du PCR est analysé par FLI-EC. Les échantillons anormaux ont été confirmés par séquen age EC. Les effets de la concentration du milieu (LPA), de la température de séparationet du voltage de séparation sur le comportement de EC ont été aussi etudiés. Résultats Lanalyse de PCMC par la methode FLI-EC a retrouvé une mutation hétérozygote chez 4 des 42 patients. La mutation ponctuelle de T1151A a été objectivée par la séquen age EC de ces échantillons, aucune mutation na été retrouvée chez les 20 sujets sains témoins. La séparation des pics dADN monochainaux a été facilitée par une légère augmentation de la concentration de LPA (4%-6%), une légère baisse de la température de séparation (20℃) et une légère élévation du voltage de séparation (9kV). Conclusion Une concentration adéquate de LPA, une température de séparation appropriée et un voltage de séparation bien approprié améliorent considérablement l’efficacité du FLI-EC. L’application de cette méthode pour détecter la mutation ponctuelle du gène hMLH1 est d’une rapidité, d’une efficacité, et d’uneéreproductivit consid rables. 8Comparative evaluation of data mining methods in predicting the water vapor permeability of cement-based materials显示文摘Water vapor permeability of building materials is a crucial parameter for analysing and optimizing the hygrothermal performance of building envelopes and built environments.Its measurement is accurate but time-consuming,while data mining methods have the potential to predict water vapor permeability efficiently.In this study,six data mining methods—support vector regression(SVR),decision tree regression(DT),random forest regression(RF),K-nearest neighbor(KNN),multi-layer perceptron(MLP),and adaptive boosting regression(AdaBoost)—were compared to predict the water vapor permeability of cement-based materials.A total of 143 datasets of material properties were collected to build prediction models,and five materials were experimentally determined for model validation.The results show that RF has excellent generalization,stability,and precision.AdaBoost has great generalization and precision,only slightly inferior to the former,and its stability is excellent.DT has good precision and acceptable generalization,but its stability is poor.SVR and KNN have superior stability,but their generalization and precision are inadequate.MLP lacks generalization,and its stability and precision are unacceptable.In short,RF has the best comprehensive performance,demonstrated by a limited prediction deviation of 26.3%from the experimental results,better than AdaBoost(38.0%)and DT(38.3%)and far better than other remaining methods.It is also found that data mining methods provide better predictions when cement-based materials’water vapor permeability is high.Xianqi Huang Ruijin Ma Hanyu Yang Chi Feng Kun Li 2023Building Simulation2023,16,6:0
