| 1 | Light-triggered release of insecticidally active spirotetramat-enol显示文摘Spirotetramat metabolizes to its active enol form in the plant. We described here a photocaged pesticide delivery system that can release insecticidal spirotetramat enol form upon light irradiation. Covalently linking spirotetramat-enol with photoresponsive coumarin generated the caged insecticide. The photophysical and photochemical properties, deprotection photolysis and insecticidal activities of the caged spirotetramat enol were studied. This light-triggered system can undergo cleavage to release free spirotetramat enol form at the presence of blue light(420 nm) or sunlight. | 2 | Comparative population genomics dissects the genetic basis of seven domestication traits in jujube显示文摘Jujube(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.)is an important perennial fruit tree with a range of interesting horticultural traits.It was domesticated from wild jujube(Ziziphus acidojujuba),but the genomic variation dynamics and genetic changes underlying its horticultural traits during domestication are poorly understood.Here,we report a comprehensive genome variation map based on the resequencing of 350 accessions,including wild,semi-wild and cultivated jujube plants,at a>15×depth.Using the combination of a genome-wide association study(GWAS)and selective sweep analysis,we identified several candidate genes potentially involved in regulating seven domestication traits in jujube.For fruit shape and kernel shape,we integrated the GWAS approach with transcriptome profiling data,expression analysis and the transgenic validation of a candidate gene to identify a causal gene,ZjFS3,which encodes an ethyleneresponsive transcription factor.Similarly,we identified a candidate gene for bearing-shoot length and the number of leaves per bearing shoot and two candidate genes for the seed-setting rate using GWAS.In the selective sweep analysis,we also discovered several putative genes for the presence of prickles on bearing shoots and the postharvest shelf life of fleshy fruits.This study outlines the genetic basis of jujube domestication and evolution and provides a rich genomic resource for mining other horticulturally important genes in jujube. | Mingxin Guo Zhongren Zhang Yanwei Cheng Sunan Li Peiyin Shao Qiang Yu Junjie Wang Gan Xu Xiaotian Zhang Jiajia Liu Linlin Hou Hanxiao Liu Xusheng Zhao | 2020 | Horticulture Research2020,7,1: | 2 |

| 16 | Water bridges are essential to neonicotinoids: Insights from synthesis,bioassay and molecular modelling studies显示文摘Water-bridged H-bonds have been observed in many cases of ligand-receptor recognitions. To explore the roles of water bridges in the binding of neonicotinoids with receptors, twenty-four neonicotinoid compounds with nine fragments, including 1 H-1,2,3-triazole, CN, COOMe, CONHNH_2, CONHMe, NO_2,NH_2, NHCOMe and NHCSNH_2 were synthesized and evaluated, of which, compounds with cyano group showed the best activities against Aphis craccivora. Accordingly, the cyano group is the optimal fragment mimicking the water bridge. Two cyano-substituted cis-nitromethylene compounds display good insecticidal activities, whereas the LC_(50) values are lower than those of their corresponding prototypes.Docking study showed that the cyano group acts only as H-bond acceptor, while the water bridge can act as both donor and acceptor. It revealed that the water bridge might be stable in the active site and was not suitable to be replaced by other groups. | 17 | Prediction of forest fire occurrence in China under climate change scenarios显示文摘Climate change has an impact on forest fire patterns.In the context of global warming,it is important to study the possible effects of climate change on forest fires,carbon emission reductions,carbon sink effects,forest fire management,and sustainable development of forest ecosystems.This study is based on MODIS active fire data from 2001-2020 and the influence of climate,topography,vegetation,and social factors were integrated.Temperature and precipitation information from different scenarios of the BCC-CSM2-MR climate model were used as future climate data.Under climate change scenarios of a sustainable low development path and a high conventional development path,the extreme gradient boosting model predicted the spatial distribution of forest fire occurrence in China in the 2030s(2021-2040),2050s(2041-2060),2070s(2061-2080),and2090s(2081-2100).Probability maps were generated and tested using ROC curves.The results show that:(1)the area under the ROC curve of training data(70%)and validation data(30%)were 0.8465 and 0.8171,respectively,indicating that the model can reasonably predict the occurrence of forest fire in the study area;(2)temperature,elevation,and precipitation were strongly correlated with fire occurrence,while land type,slope,distance from settlements and roads,and slope direction were less strongly correlated;and,(3)based on future climate change scenarios,the probability of forest fire occurrence will tend to shift from the south to the center of the country.Compared with the current climate(2001-2020),the occurrence of forest fires in 2021-2040,2041-2060,2061-2080,and 2081-2100 will increase significantly in Henan Province(Luoyang,Nanyang,S anmenxia),Shaanxi Province(Shangluo,Ankang),Sichuan Province(Mianyang,Guangyuan,Ganzi),Tibet Autonomous Region(Shannan,Linzhi,Changdu),Liaoning Province(Liaoyang,Fushun,Dandong). | Yakui Shao Guangpeng Fan Zhongke Feng Linhao Sun Xuanhan Yang Tiantian Ma XuSheng Li Hening Fu Aiai Wang | 2023 | Journal of Forestry Research2023,34,5: | 0 |
