| 2 | Extraordinary characteristics for one-dimensional parity-time-symmetric periodic ring optical waveguide networks显示文摘In this paper, we design a one-dimensional(1D) parity-time-symmetric periodic ring optical waveguide network(PTSPROWN) and investigate its extraordinary optical characteristics. It is found that quite different from traditional vacuum/dielectric optical waveguide networks, 1D PTSPROWN cannot produce a photonic ordinary propagation mode, but can generate simultaneously two kinds of photonic nonpropagation modes: attenuation propagation mode and gain propagation mode. It creates neither passband nor stopband and possesses no photonic band structure. This makes 1D PTSPROWN possess richer spontaneous PT-symmetric breaking points and causes interesting extremum spontaneous PT-symmetric breaking points to appear, where electromagnetic waves can create ultrastrong extraordinary transmission, reflection, and localization, and the maximum can arrive at 6.6556 × 10^(12) and is more than 7 orders of magnitude larger than the results reported previously.1D PTSPROWN may possess potential in designing high-efficiency optical energy saver devices, optical amplifiers, optical switches with ultrahigh monochromaticity, and so on. | YAN ZHI XIANGBO YANG JIAYE WU SHIPING DU PEICHAO CAO DONGMEI DENG CHENGYI TIMON LIU | 2018 | Photonics Research2018,6,6: | 2 |

| 8 | Improving solar control of magnetism in ternary organic photovoltaic system with enhanced photo-induced electrons doping显示文摘§The growing demand for storage space has promoted in-depth research on magnetic performance regulation in an energy-saving way.Recently,we developed a solar control of magnetism,allowing the magnetic moment to be manipulated by sunlight instead of the magnetic field,current,or laser.Here,binary and ternary photoactive systems with different photon-to-electron conversions are proposed.The photovoltaic/magnetic heterostructures with a ternary system induce larger magnetic changes due to higher short current density(J SC)(20.92 mA·cm^(−2))compared with the binary system(11.94 mA·cm^(−2)).During the sunlight illumination,ferromagnetic resonance(FMR)shift increases by 80%(from 169.52 to 305.48 Oe)attributed to enhanced photo-induced electrons doping,and the variation of saturation magnetization(M S)is also amplified by 14%(from 9.9%to 11.3%).Furthermore,photovoltaic performance analysis and the transient absorption(TA)spectra indicate that the current density plays a major role in visible light manipulating magnetism.These findings clarify the laws of sunlight control of magnetism and lay the foundation for the next generation solar-driven magneto-optical memory applications. | Yujing Du Shiping Wang Lei Wang Shengye Jin Yifan Zhao Tai Min Zhuangde Jiang Ziyao Zhou Ming Liu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,3: | 0 |
