| 1 | Diagenetic fluids evolution and genetic mechanism of tight sandstone gas reservoirs in Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation in Sichuan Basin, China显示文摘The reservoirs of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation in Sichuan Basin have the characteristics of low compositional maturity, low contents of cements and medium textural maturity. The general physical properties of the reservoirs are poor, with low porosity and low permeability, and there are only a few reservoirs with medium porosity and low permeability in local areas. Based on the diagenetic mineral association, a diagenetic sequence of cements is established: early calcites (or micrite siderites) →first quartz overgrowth→chlorite coatings→dissolution of feldspars and debris→chlorite linings→ second quartz overgrowth (quartz widen or filled in remain intergranular pores and solution pores)→dissolution→third quartz overgrowth (quartz filled in intergranular and intragranular solution pores)→intergrowth (ferro) calcites→dolomites→ferro (calcites) dolomites→later dissolution→veins of quartz and calcites formation. Mechanical compaction is the main factor in making the reservoirs tight in the basin, followed by the second and third quartz overgrowth. In a long-term closed system, only feld-spars and some lithic fragments are dissolved by diagenetic fluids, while intergranular cements such as quartz and calcit are not dissolved and thus have little influence on the porosity of the Xujiahe Formation. This is the third factor that may have kept the sandstones of Xujiahe Formation tight finally. | 2 | Features and origin time of Mesozoic strike-slip structures in the Yilan-Yitong Fault Zone显示文摘The NE-striking Yilan-Yitong Fault Zone(YYFZ) with a length of ca. 900 km is an important major fault zone in northeastern China. Its origin has been a controversial issue for a long time. Detailed field investigation and comprehensive analyses show that strike-slip faults or ductile shear belts exist as the origination structures on the both shoulders of the Cretaceous-Paleogene grabens. These strike-slip structures are dominated by brittle transcurrent faults, and appear as ductile shear belts only in the Weiyuanpu-Yehe and Shulan parts in the south and middle of the fault zone, respectively. The shear belts strike NE-SW and show steep mylonitic foliation and gentle mineral elongation lineation. Outcrop structures, microstructures and quartz c-axis fabrics demonstrate a sinistral shear sense with minor reverse component for the ductile shear belts. The microstructures suggest deformation temperatures of 400–450°C for the Weiyuanpu-Yehe shear belts and 350–400°C for the Shulan shear belt. A series of zircon U-Pb dating results for deformed and undeformed plutons or dikes in the shear belts constrain the strike-slip motion to the time between 160 and 126 Ma. It is further inferred from ages of main geological events in this region that the fault zone originated in the earliest Early Cretaceous. It is suggested therefore that the southern and middle parts of the Tan-Lu Fault Zone, which originated in Middle Triassic, propagated into northeastern China along the sinistral YYFZ under the earliest Early Cretaceous regional compression that is referred to as the Yanshan B event. | 4 | The combination of chidamide with the CHOEP regimen in previously untreated patients with peripheral T-cell lymphoma: a prospective, multicenter, single arm, phase 1b/2 study显示文摘Objective:To assess the efficacy and safety of the novel histone deacetylase inhibitor,chidamide,in combination with cyclophosphamide,doxorubicin,vincristine,etoposide,and prednisone(Chi-CHOEP)for untreated peripheral T-cell lymphoma(PTCL).Methods:A prospective,multicenter,single arm,phase 1 b/2 study was conducted.A total of 128 patients with untreated PTCL(18–70 years of age)were enrolled between March 2016 and November 2019,and treated with up to 6 cycles with the Chi-CHOEP regimen.In the phase 1 b study,3 dose levels of chidamide were evaluated and the primary endpoint was determination of the maximumtolerated dose and recommended phase 2 dose(RP2 D).The primary endpoint of the phase 2 study was 2-year progression-free survival(PFS).Results:Fifteen patients were enrolled in the phase 1 b study and the RP2 D for chidamide was determined to be 20 mg,twice a week.A total of 113 patients were treated at the RP2 D in the phase 2 study,and the overall response rate was 60.2%,with a complete response rate of 40.7%.At a median follow-up of 36 months,the median PFS was 10.7 months,with 1-,2-,and 3-year PFS rates of 49.9%,38.0%,and 32.8%,respectively.The Chi-CHOEP regimen was well-tolerated,with grade 3/4 neutropenia occurring in approximately two-thirds of the patients.No unexpected adverse events(AEs)were reported and the observed AEs were manageable.Conclusions:This large cohort phase 1 b/2 study showed that Chi-CHOEP was well-tolerated with modest efficacy in previously untreated PTCL patients. | Wei Zhang Liping Su Lihong Liu Yuhuan Gao Quanshun Wang Hang Su Yuhuan Song Huilai Zhang Jing Shen Hongmei Jing Shuye Wang Xinan Cen Hui Liu Aichun Liu Zengjun Li Jianmin Luo Jianxia He Jingwen Wang O.A.O’Connor Daobin Zhou | 2021 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,3: | 4 |

| 7 | Growth–climate response and drought reconstruction from tree-ring of Mongolian pine in Hulunbuir,Northeast China显示文摘Aims Drought affected by atmosphere–ocean cycle is a dominant factor influencing tree radial growth of sandy Mongolian pine(Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica)and regional vegetation dynamics in Hulunbuir,China.However,historical droughts and its correlations with tree radial growth and atmosphere–ocean cycle in this area have been little tested.Methods We developed tree-ring chronologies of Mongolian pine from Hulunbuir,Inner Mongolia,China and analyzed the correlations between tree-ring width index,the normalized difference vegetation index and Palmer drought severity index(PDSI),then developed a linear model to reconstruct the drought variability from 1829 to 2009.Long-term trends and its linkages with atmosphere–ocean cycle were performed by the power spectral,wavelet and teleconnection analysis.Important Findings The local moisture variations affected largely the regional vegetation dynamics and tree-ring growth of Mongolia pine in the forest–grassland transition.Using tree-ring width chronology of Mongolian pine,the reconstruction explains 49.2%of PDSI variance during their common data period(1951–2005).The reconstruction gives a broad-scale regional representation of PDSI in the Hulunbuir area,with drought occurrences in the 1850s,1900s,1920s,mid-1930s and at the turn of the 21st century.Comparisons with other treering drought reconstructions and historical records reveal some common drought periods and drying trends in recent decades at the northern margin zones of the East Asian summer monsoon(EASM).The drying trends in these zones occurred earlier than weakening of the EASM.A REDFIT spectral analysis shows significant peaks at 7.2,3.9,2.7–2.8,2.4 and 2.2 years with a 0.05 significance level,and 36.9,18.1 and 5.0 years with 0.1 significance level.Wavelet analysis also shows similar cycles.Drought variations in the study area significantly correlated with sea surface temperatures in the western tropical Pacific Ocean and middle and northern Indian Ocean,and the Pacific Decadal Oscillation and North Atlantic Oscillation.This suggests a possible linkage with the El Niño-Southern Oscillation,the EASM and the Westerlies. | Zhongjie Shi Lihong Xu Linshui Dong Jixi Gao Xiaohui Yang Shihai Lü Chaoyang Feng Aiyun Song Hao Guo Xiao Zhang | 2016 | Journal of Plant Ecology2016,9,1: | 3 |

Several structural properties of GaN, including the lattice constants, strains, and dislocation densities are revealed by the technique of X-ray dffraction (XRD). Lattice constants calculated from the omega/2theta scan are c=0.5185 nm and a=0.3157 nm. Also, the in-plane strain is -1.003%, while out of the plane, the epitaxial film is almost relaxed. | 9 | Preparation and Characterization of Tung Oil Toughened Modified Phenolic Foams with Enhanced Mechanical Properties and Smoke Suppression显示文摘In this study,we prepared a series of tung oil phenolic foams(TPF)by a one-pot method.The FT-IR and 1H NMR spectra confirm the successful Friedel-Crafts grafting of phenol to the long-chain alkyl group in tung oil.Modified TPFs exhibit enhanced mechanical properties,including compressive and flexural strengths of up to 0.278±0.036 MPa and 0.450±0.017 MPa,respectively,which represent increases of 68.75%and 86.72%over those of pure phenolic foam(PF).SEM spectra reveal the TPF microstructure to have uniform hexagonal cell morphology,narrower cell size distribution,and smaller mean cell size,suggesting enhanced mechanical properties.The TPF total smoke release decreased by 74.23%,indicating that the long alkyl chain significantly improves smoke suppression of the combusting foam.However,due to the flammability of the alkyl chains,the TPF limiting oxygen index decreases with increasing tung oil content.Moreover,TPF exhibits reduced thermal stability and high-temperature charring rate,elevated peak and mean heat release rates,and higher total heat release compared with pure PF.Therefore,future research will focus on the use of tung oil modified flame retardant to provide more robust phenolic foams. | Fei Song Puyou Jia Caiying Bo Xiaoli Ren Lihong Hu Yonghong Zhou | 2020 | Journal of Renewable Materials2020,8,5: | 2 |

| 11 | Effects of Root Zone Temperature on Growth and Photosynthetic Parameters of Grafted Cucumber显示文摘Taking Cucurbita maxima and Cucurbita moschata as root stocks,and‘Jinyou No 3'cucumber as scion,the effects of different root zone temperature conditions optimal temperature( CK)( 18-20 ℃),suboptimal temperature( 13-15 ℃) and low temperature( 8-10 ℃) on the growth and photosynthesis indexes were studied. The results showed that,compared with optimal temperature( CK),suboptimal temperature and low temperature produced a significant inhibition of growth on cucumbers. The plant height,stem diameter,leaf area,number of leaves and dry weight of aboveground part were all reduced,dry weight of underground part and root shoot ratio all increased,while the inhibition was more significant at low temperature. Low and suboptimal temperature conditions also reduced SPAD value,net photosynthetic rate,transpiration rate,intercellular CO_2 concentration and stomatal conductance of the grafted cucumber. | 15 | Crack deflection occurs by constrained microcracking in nacre显示文摘For decades, nacre has inspired researchers because of its sophisticated hierarchical structure and remarkable mechanical properties, especially its extreme fracture toughness compared with that of its predominant constituent,CaCO_3, in the form of aragonite. Crack deflection has been extensively reported and regarded as the principal toughening mechanism for nacre. In this paper, our attention is focused on crack evolution in nacre under a quasi-static state. We use the notched three-point bending test of dehydrated nacre in situ in a scanning electron microscope(SEM) to monitor the evolution of damage mechanisms ahead of the crack tip. The observations show that the crack deflection actually occurs by constrained microcracking. On the basis of our findings, a crack propagation model is proposed, which will contribute to uncovering the underlying mechanisms of nacre's fracture toughness and its damage evolution.
