| 1 | De novo characterization of the root transcriptome of a traditional Chinese medicinal plant Polygonum cuspidatum显示文摘Various active components have been extracted from the root of Polygonum cuspidatum.However,the genetic basis for their activity is virtually unknown.In this study,25600002 short reads (2.3 Gb) of P.cuspidatum root transcriptome were obtained via Illumina HiSeq 2000 sequencing.A total of 86418 unigenes were assembled de novo and annotated.Twelve,18,60 and 54 unigenes were respectively mapped to the mevalonic acid (MVA),methyl-D-erythritol 4-phosphate (MEP),shikimate and resveratrol biosynthesis pathways,suggesting that they are involved in the biosynthesis of pharmaceutically important anthraquinone and resveratrol.Eighteen potential UDP-glycosyltransferase unigenes were identified as the candidates most likely to be involved in the biosynthesis of glycosides of secondary metabolites.Identification of relevant genes could be important in eventually increasing the yields of the medicinally useful constituents of the P.cuspidatum root.From the previously published transcriptome data of 19 non-model plant taxa,1127 shared orthologs were identified and characterized.This information will be very useful for future functional,phylogenetic and evolutionary studies of these plants. | HAO DaCheng MA Pei MU Jun CHEN ShiLin XIAO PeiGen PENG Yong HUO Li XU LiJia SUN Chao | 2012 | Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,5: | 36 |
| 2 | Thermal energy storage:Challenges and the role of particle technology显示文摘Thermal energy is at the heart of the whole energy chain providing a main linkage between the primary and secondary energy sources.Thermal energy storage(TES)has a pivotal role to play in the energy chain and hence in future low carbon economy.However,a competitive TES technology requires a number of scientific and technological challenges to be addressed including TES materials,TES components and devices,and integration of TES devices with energy networks and associated dynamic optimization.This paper provides a perspective of TES technology with a focus on TES materials challenges using molten salts based phase change materials for medium and high temperature applications.Two key challenges for the molten salt based TES materials are chemical incompatibility and low thermal conductivity.The use of composite materials provides an avenue to meeting the challenges.Such composite materials consist of a phase change material,a structural supporting material,and a thermal conductivity enhancement material.The properties of the supporting material could determine the dispersion of the thermal conductivity enhancement material in the salt.A right combination of the salt,the structural supporting material,and the thermal conductivity enhancement material could give a hierarchical structure that is able to encapsulate the molten salt and give a substantial enhancement in the thermal conductivity.Understanding of the structure-property relationships for the composite is essential for the formulation design and fabrication of the composite materials.Linking materials properties to the system level performance is recommended as a key future direction of research. | Zhiwei Ge Yongliang Li Dacheng Li Ze Sun Yi Jin Chuanping Liu Chuan Li Guanghui Leng Yulong Ding | 2014 | Particuology2014,12,4: | 20 |

| 4 | NiSe_(2)/Ni(OH)_(2) Heterojunction Composite through Epitaxial-like Strategy as High-Rate Battery-Type Electrode Material显示文摘Constructing heterojunction is a promising way to improve the charge transfer efficiency and can thus promote the electrochemical properties.Herein,a facile and effective epitaxial-like growth strategy is applied to NiSe2 nano-octahe-dra to fabricate the NiSe2-(100)/Ni(OH)2-(110)heterojunction.The heterojunction composite and Ni(OH)2(performing high electrochemical activity)is ideal high-rate battery-type supercapacitor electrode.The NiSe2/Ni(OH)2 electrode exhibits a high specific capacity of 909 C g^-1 at 1 A g^-1 and 597 C g^-1 at 20 A g^-1.The assembled asymmetric supercapacitor composed of the NiSe2/Ni(OH)2 cathode and p-phenylenediamine-functional reduced graphene oxide anode achieves an ultrahigh specific capacity of 303 C g^-1 at 1 A g^-1 and a superior energy density of 76.1 Wh kg^-1 at 906 W kg^-1,as well as an outstanding cycling stability of 82%retention for 8000 cycles at 10 A g^-1.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first example of NiSe2/Ni(OH)2 heterojunction exhibiting such remarkable supercapacitor performance.This work not only provides a promising candidate for next-generation energy storage device but also offers a possible universal strategy to fabricate metal selenides/metal hydroxides heterojunctions. | Hao Mei Zhaodi Huang Ben Xu Zhenyu Xiao Yingjie Mei Haobing Zhang Shiyu Zhang Dacheng Li Wenpei Kang Dao Feng Sun | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,5: | 3 |
| 5 | Tranexamic acid for acute intracerebral haemorrhage growth based on imaging assessment (TRAIGE): a multicentre, randomised, placebo- controlled trial显示文摘Background Studies show tranexamic acid can reduce the risk of death and early neurological deterioration after intracranial haemorrhage.We aimed to assess whether tranexamic acid reduces haematoma expansion and improves outcome in intracerebral haemorrhage patients susceptible to haemorrhage expansion.Methods We did a prospective,double-blind,randomised,placebo-controlled trial at 10 stroke centres in China.Acute supratentorial intracerebral haemorrhage patients were eligible if they had indication of haemorrhage expansion on admission imaging(eg,spot sign,black hole sign or blend sign),and were treatable within 8 hours of symptom onset.Patients were randomly assigned(1:1)to receive either tranexamic acid or a matching placebo.The primary outcome was intracerebral haematoma growth(>33% relative or>6 mL absolute)at 24 hours.Clinical outcomes were assessed at 90 days.Results Of the 171 included patients,124(72.5%)were male,and the mean age was 55.9±11.6 years.89 patients received tranexamic acid and 82 received placebo.The primary outcome did not differ significantly between the groups:36(40.4%)patients in the tranexamic acid group and 34(41.5%)patients in the placebo group had intracranial haemorrhage growth(OR 0.96,95% CI 0.52 to 1.77,p=0.89).The proportion of death was lower in the tranexamic acid treatment group than placebo group(8.1%vs 10.0%),but there were no significant differences in secondary outcomes including absolute intracranial haemorrhage growth,death and dependency.Conclusions Among patients susceptible to haemorrhage expansion treated within 8 hours of stroke onset,tranexamic acid did not significantly prevent intracerebral haemorrhage growth.Larger studies are needed to assess safety and efficacy of tranexamic acid in intracerebral haemorrhage patients. | Jingyi Liu Ximing Nie Hongqiu Gu Qi Zhou Haixin Sun Ying Tan Dacheng Liu Lina Zheng Jiahui Zhao Yan Wang Yibin Cao Haomeng Zhu Yunpeng Zhang Lijin Yi Yuehua Pu Miao Wen Zhonghua Yang Shengjun Sun Wenzhi Wang Xingquan Zhao Liping Liu Yongjun Wang | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2: | 3 |
| 6 | Genetic Diversity of Chinese Medaka(Oryzias sinensis)in Dian Lake Drainage Area by ISSR Analysis显示文摘Chinese medaka(Oryzias sinensis),widely distributed in the plateau lakes,Yunnan Province,which was the indicative specie for the habitat quality of riparian zone in the wetland ecosystems and also was the key specie in the lake ecosystems,and also was one of the fishes who suffered the severe invasion of alien species.There,we investigated that the genetic diversity and population structure of the wild Chinese medaka by using inter-simple sequence repeat(ISSR)analysis.The samples(20 individuals in total)of Chinese medaka in three populations in the drainage area of Dian Lake were obtained.The 7 ISSR primers were picked out to assess the genetic diversity.The ISSR primers combinations revealed 82.69%polymorphism,among 52 genetic loci amplified.The sum of effective number of alleles and observed number of alleles were 1.492 4 and 1.826 9,respectively.The Shannon genetic diversity and Nei genetic diversity indexes of all the populations were 0.434 5 and 0.289 7,respectively.The gene differentiation(GST)was 0.198 9,and the gene flow(NM)was 2.013 2.The AMOVA demonstrated that only 6.65%of genetic variance came from inter-population,and 93.35%of genetic variance came from intra-population.Phylogenetic tree showed that 20 individuals from 3 populations were clustering mixed each other.Also,the principal coordinate analysis(PCA)supported the cluster analysis results.These results indicated that the genetic diversity of Oryzias sinensis was at the middle level,and there was no obvious genetic differentiation among the three populations of Oryzias sinensis. | QIU Yuping LIU Yong SUN Dacheng CHEN Guozhu | 2015 | 湿地科学2015,13,5: | 2 |
| 7 | Haemostatic therapy in spontaneous intracerebral haemorrhage patients with high-risk of haematoma expansion by CT marker: a systematic review and meta- analysis of randomised trials显示文摘Background and purpose Current randomised controlled trials(RCTs)showed an uncertain benefit of haemostatic therapy on preventing haematoma expansion and improving the outcome in patients with intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH).This meta-analysis aims to systematically evaluate the effect of haemostatic agents on the prevention of haemorrhage growth in patients with high-risk spontaneous ICH predicted by CT signs in RCTs.Methods A comprehensive search of PubMed,EMBASE and Cochrane library from 1 January 2005 to 30 June 2021 was conducted.RCTs that compared haemostatic agents with placebo for the treatment of spontaneous patients with ICH with high-risk haemorrhage growth were included.The primary endpoint was haematoma expansion at 24 hours.Other major endpoints of interest included 90-day functional outcome and mortality.Results The meta-analysis included four RCTs that randomised 2666 patients with ICH with high-risk haemorrhage growth.Haemostatic therapy reduced the rate of haematoma expansion at a marginally statistically significant level when compared with placebo(OR 0.84;95% CI 0.70 to 1.00;p=0.051).Subgroup analysis for patients with black hole sign on CT revealed a significant reduction of haematoma expansion with haemostatic therapy(OR 0.61;95% CI 0.39 to 0.94;p=0.03).However,both the primary analysis and subgroup analyses showed that haemostatic therapy could not reduce the rate of poor functional outcome(modified Rankin Scale>3)or death.Conclusions Haemostatic therapy showed a marginally significant benefit in reducing early haematoma expansion in patients with high-risk spontaneous ICH predicted by markers on CT scan.However,no significant improvement in functional outcome or reduction of mortality was observed. | Ximing Nie Jingyi Liu Dacheng Liu Qi Zhou Wanying Duan Yuehua Pu Zhonghua Yang Miao Wen Haixin Sun Wenzhi Wang Shengjun Sun Hongqiu Gu Liping Liu | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2: | 2 |

| 14 | Empowering magnetic strong coupling and its application for nonlinear refractive index sensing显示文摘In the context of quantum strong coupling,the magnetic dipole(MD)emitters are largely overlooked due to the rarity of MD source and the non-magnetic nature of matters at high frequencies.Based on a semi-classic model,we theoretically demonstrate magnetic strong coupling between an MD cluster(Er^(3+):4 I13/2→4 I15/2 transition at 1,550 nm)and an antenna-in-cavity structure.It is found that placing the plasmonic diabolo/s-diabolo nanoantenna,which supports strong electric/magnetic dipole mode,inside a dielectric cavity could largely improve the strong coupling coefficient while suppressing the cavity loss rate compared to the bare nanoantenna counterparts,empowering the magnetic quantum strong coupling at a level of 104 emitters,which is remarkable considering the weak MD dipole momentum and small hotspot region at high frequency.Furthermore,the two Rabi resonance branches undergo highly asymmetrical changes upon a small variation on the environmental refractive index,which leads to an exotic exponential sensitivity profile by tracing the ratio between the two resonances widths.The proposed magnetic strong coupling for nonlinear refractive index sensing may add a new category to quantum plasmonic sensors. | Song Sun Dong Li Dacheng Wang Zheng Feng Wei Tan Lin Wu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,8: | 0 |

| 16 | Facile one-pot synthesis of a novel all-carbon stair containing dimerized pentalene core from alkyne显示文摘The construction of all-carbon molecule frameworks remains challenging. Herein, we report a facile and efficient one-pot synthesis of a novel all-carbon stair containing dimerized pentalene core using inexpensive cyclopropyl alkyne catalyzed by in situ generated Cu(I) from the comproportionation reaction of Cu(II) salt and Cu powder under mild reaction conditions. The reaction proceeds via sequential acetylenic coupling, followed by cyclization and [2 + 2] cycloaddition to directly produce pentalene dimer, which is difficult to access by other established methods. Different mechanistic paths were studied for the pentalene formation using density functional theory, suggesting that the reaction also proceeds through acetylenic coupling followed by cyclization and [2 + 2] cycloaddition. | 18 | Concept and evaluation of bay health:the role of numerical model in the Yueqing Bay,China显示文摘To better evaluate the three-dimensional bay health and predict the dynamic bay health conditions, a concept of numerical bay health was introduced and a method of numerical bay health evaluation(NBHE) was developed.To support the NBHE method, a numerical bay health index(NBHI) system was constructed, which assess the natural and socio-economic effects on the entire bay. Five index groups are combined to formulate the NBHI,including geometry, hydrodynamics and sediment dynamics, bio-ecology, water quality and socio-economy.Each group has different number of indices selected and weighted using AHP method according to their importance. Data were mainly synthesized from a variety of numerical models together with monitoring programs, which provide superior to other approaches in discriminating data integrity and predicting data in future. The NBHE method using NBHI system was applied in the Yueqing Bay during spring tide in April 2007.According to the NBHE results, Sta. A, at the surface level of the estuarine mouth, has a healthy geometry condition, sub-healthy hydrodynamic and sediment dynamic condition, and unhealthy water quality and bioecology conditions.
