1Glycine attenuates myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury by inhibiting myocardial apoptosis in rats显示文摘Glycine is a well-documented cytoprotective agent.However,whether it has a protective effect against myocar-dial ischemia-reperfusion injury in vivo is still unknown.By using an open-chest anesthetized rat model,we found that glycine reduced the infarct size by 21% in ischemia-reperfusion injury rats compared with that in the vehicle-treated MI/R rats.The left ventricular ejection fraction and fractional shortening were increased by 19.11% and 30.98%,respectively,in glycine-treated rats.The plasma creatine kinase levels in ischemia-reperfusion injury rats decreased following glycine treatment.Importantly,administration of glycine significantly inhibited apoptosis in post-ischemia-reperfusion myocardium,which was accompanied by suppression of phosphorylated p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase and c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase,as well as the Fas ligand.These results suggest that gly-cine attenuates myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in vivo by inhibiting cardiomyocytes apoptosis.Xiaozheng Zhong Xiaoyu Li Lingling Qiana Yiming Xu Yan Lu Jing Zhang Nan Li Xudong Zhu Jingjing Ben Qing Yang Qi Chen 2012The Journal of Biomedical Research2012,26,5:10

4Vertically Aligned Silicon Carbide Nanowires/Boron Nitride Cellulose Aerogel Networks Enhanced Thermal Conductivity and Electromagnetic Absorbing of Epoxy Composites显示文摘With the innovation of microelectronics technology, the heat dissipation problem inside the device will face a severe test. In this work, cellulose aerogel(CA) with highly enhanced thermal conductivity(TC) in vertical planes was successfully obtained by constructing a vertically aligned silicon carbide nanowires(SiC NWs)/boron nitride(BN) network via the ice template-assisted strategy. The unique network structure of SiC NWs connected to BN ensures that the TC of the composite in the vertical direction reaches 2.21 W m^(-1) K^(-1) at a low hybrid filler loading of 16.69 wt%, which was increased by 890% compared to pure epoxy(EP). In addition, relying on unique porous network structure of CA, EP-based composite also showed higher TC than other comparative samples in the horizontal direction. Meanwhile, the composite exhibits good electrically insulating with a volume electrical resistivity about 2.35 × 10^(11) Ω cm and displays excellent electromagnetic wave absorption performance with a minimum reflection loss of-21.5 dB and a wide effective absorption bandwidth(<-10 dB) from 8.8 to 11.6 GHz. 5Detection of the critical micelle concentration of cationic and anionic surfactants based on aggregation-induced emission property of hexaphenylsilole derivatives显示文摘We report a fluorescence 'turn-on' method to detect the critical micelle concentration (CMC) of surfactants. This method works well for both cationic and anionic surfactants. It employs an unprecedented mechanism (aggregation-induced emission, or AIE) to determine the CMC values, and the results are consistent with the data obtained by the classical techniques. In addition, this method renders the convenient detection of the CMC values. Any large and professional instruments are unnecessary, instead, a portable UV lamp and an ultrasonic generator are enough to carry out the detection in an ordinary laboratory. Considering that micelles are interesting entities and have found applications in many important fields such as emulsion polymerization, template of nanosized materials synthesis, controllable drug delivery and macromolecular self-assembling. 7The desumoylating enzyme sentrin-specific protease 3 contributes to myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury显示文摘Sentrin-specific protease 3(SENP3), a member of the desumoylating enzyme family, is known as a redox sensor and could regulate multiple cellular signaling pathways. However, its implication in myocardial ischemia reperfusion(MIR) injury is unclear. Here, we observed that SENP3 was expressed and upregulated in the mouse heart depending on reactive oxygen species(ROS) production in response to MIR injury. By utilizing si RNA-mediated cardiac specific gene silencing, SENP3 knockdown was demonstrated to significantly reduce MIR-induced infarct size and improve cardiac function. Mechanistic studies indicated that SENP3 silencing ameliorated myocardial apoptosis mainly via suppression of endoplasmic reticulum(ER) stress and mitochondrial-mediated apoptosis pathways. By contrast, adenovirusmediated cardiac SENP3 overexpression significantly exaggerated MIR injury. Further molecular analysis revealed that SENP3 promoted mitochondrial translocation of dynamin-related protein 1(Drp1) in reperfused myocardium. In addition, mitochondrial division inhibitor-1(Mdivi-1), a pharmacological inhibitor of Drp1, significantly attenuated the exaggerated mitochondrial abnormality and cardiac injury by SENP3 overexpression after MIR injury. 9Energy efficient downlink MIMO transmission with linear precoding显示文摘Energy efficiency (EE) is becoming increasingly important for wireless cellular networks. This paper addresses EE optimization problems in downlink multiuser MIMO systems with linear precoding. Referring to different active transmit/receive antenna sets and transmission schemes as different modes, we propose a joint bandwidth/power optimization and mode switching scheme to maximize EE. With a specific mode, we prove that the optimal bandwidth and transmit power is either full transmit power or full bandwidth. After deriving the optimal bandwidth and transmit power, we further propose mode switching to select the mode with optimal EE. Since the optimal mode switching, i.e. exhaustive search, is too complex to implement, an alternative heuristic method is developed to decrease the complexity through reducing the search size and avoiding the EE calculation during each search. 11Effects of normal stress, surface roughness, and initial grain size on the microstructure of copper subjected to platen friction sliding deformation显示文摘The effects of applied normal stress, surface roughness, and initial grain size on the microstructure of pure Cu developed during platen friction sliding deformation(PFSD) processing were investigated. In each case, the deformation microstructure was characterized and the hardness of the treated surface layer was measured to evaluate its strength. The results indicated that the thickness of the deformed layer and the hardness at any depth increased with increasing normal stress. A smaller steel platen surface roughness resulted in less microstructural refinement, whereas the microstructural refinement was enhanced by decreasing the surface roughness of the Cu sample. 12NiSe_(2)/Ni(OH)_(2) Heterojunction Composite through Epitaxial-like Strategy as High-Rate Battery-Type Electrode Material显示文摘Constructing heterojunction is a promising way to improve the charge transfer efficiency and can thus promote the electrochemical properties.Herein,a facile and effective epitaxial-like growth strategy is applied to NiSe2 nano-octahe-dra to fabricate the NiSe2-(100)/Ni(OH)2-(110)heterojunction.The heterojunction composite and Ni(OH)2(performing high electrochemical activity)is ideal high-rate battery-type supercapacitor electrode.The NiSe2/Ni(OH)2 electrode exhibits a high specific capacity of 909 C g^-1 at 1 A g^-1 and 597 C g^-1 at 20 A g^-1.The assembled asymmetric supercapacitor composed of the NiSe2/Ni(OH)2 cathode and p-phenylenediamine-functional reduced graphene oxide anode achieves an ultrahigh specific capacity of 303 C g^-1 at 1 A g^-1 and a superior energy density of 76.1 Wh kg^-1 at 906 W kg^-1,as well as an outstanding cycling stability of 82%retention for 8000 cycles at 10 A g^-1.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first example of NiSe2/Ni(OH)2 heterojunction exhibiting such remarkable supercapacitor performance.This work not only provides a promising candidate for next-generation energy storage device but also offers a possible universal strategy to fabricate metal selenides/metal hydroxides heterojunctions.Hao Mei Zhaodi Huang Ben Xu Zhenyu Xiao Yingjie Mei Haobing Zhang Shiyu Zhang Dacheng Li Wenpei Kang Dao Feng Sun 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,5:3

15Porous Carbon Architecture Assembled by Cross-Linked Carbon Leaves with Implanted Atomic Cobalt for High-Performance Li-S Batteries显示文摘The practical application of lithium-sulfur batteries is severely hampered by the poor conductivity,polysulfide shuttle effect and sluggish reaction kinetics of sulfur cathodes.Herein,a hierarchi-cally porous three-dimension(3D)carbon architecture assembled by cross-linked carbon leaves with implanted atomic Co-N4 has been deli-cately developed as an advanced sulfur host through a SiO_(2)-mediated zeolitic imidazolate framework-L(ZIF-L)strategy.The unique 3D architectures not only provide a highly conductive network for fast electron transfer and buffer the volume change upon lithiation-delithi-ation process but also endow rich interface with full exposure of Co-N4 active sites to boost the lithium polysulfides adsorption and conversion.Owing to the accelerated kinetics and suppressed shuttle effect,the as-prepared sulfur cathode exhibits a superior electrochemical perfor-mance with a high reversible specific capacity of 695 mAh g^(−1) at 5 C and a low capacity fading rate of 0.053%per cycle over 500 cycles at 1 C.This work may provide a promising solution for the design of an advanced sulfur-based cathode toward high-performance Li-S batteries.Ruirui Wang Renbing Wu Chaofan Ding Ziliang Chen Hongbin Xu Yongfeng Liu Jichao Zhang Yuan Ha Ben Fei Hongge Pan 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,10:3

18Engineering porous architectures in multicomponent PdCuBP mesoporous nanospheres for electrocatalytic ethanol oxidation显示文摘Porous features of mesoporous metal nanocrystals are critically important for their applications in catalysis,sorption,and biomedicine and bioimaging.However,precisely engineering porous architectures of mesoporous metals is still highly challenging.Herein,we report a facile soft-templating strategy to precisely engineer porous architectures of multicomponent PdCuBP mesoporous nanospheres(MSs)by using the surfactants with different amphiphilic features.Three kinds of MSs with distinct porous architectures,including three-dimensional(3D)opened/interconnected dendritic mesopores(dMSs),one-dimensional(1D)cylindered mesopores(cMSs),and zero-dimensional(0D)spherical mesopores(sMSs),are prepared.This surfactant-templating method is generally extended to regulate elemental compositions of multicomponent MSs.The resultant Pd-based MSs have been evaluated as the electrocatalysts for ethanol oxidation reaction(EOR).Our results show that quaternary PdCuBP dMSs display remarkably high catalytic activity and better stability for electrocatalytic EOR,compared to those of multicomponent MSs with other porous architectures and less elemental compositions.Mechanism studies reveal that PdCuBP dMSs combine multiple structural and compositional advantages,which kinetically accelerate the electron/mass transfers and also improve the tolerances to poisoning intermediates.We believe that the porous architecture engineering in mesoporous metal electrocatalysts will present a new way to design highly efficient electrocatalysts with desired porous systems and explore their relations towards(electro)catalysis.Hao Lv Yaru Wang Dongdong Xu Ben Liu 2021Nano Research2021,14,9:3

20Redistributing Cu species in Cu-SSZ-13 zeolite as NH3-SCR catalyst via a simple ion-exchange显示文摘The nature and distribution of Cu species in Cu-SSZ-13 play a vital role in selective catalytic reduction of NO by NH3(NH3-SCR),but existing methods for adjusting the Cu distribution are complex and difficult to control.Herein,we report a simple and effective ion-exchange approach to regulate the Cu distribution in the one-pot synthesized Cu-SSZ-13 that possesses sufficient initial Cu species and thus provides a“natural environment”for adjusting Cu distribution precisely.By using this proposed strategy,a series of Cu-SSZ-13x zeolites with different Cu contents and distributions were obtained.It is shown that the dealumination of the as-synthesized Cu-SSZ-13 during the ion-exchange generates abundant vacant sites in the double six-membered-rings of the SSZ-13 zeolite for relocating Cu2+species and thus allows the redistribution of the Cu species.The catalytic results showed that the ion-exchanged Cu-SSZ-13 zeolites exhibit quite different catalytic performance in NH3-SCR reaction but superior to the parent counterpart.The structure–activity relationship analysis indicates that the redistribution of Cu species rather than other factors(e.g.,crystallinity,chemical composition,and porous structure)is responsible for the improved NH3-SCR performance and SO_(2) and H_(2)O resistance.Our work offers an effective method to precisely adjust the Cu distribution in preparing the industrial SCR catalysts.Ben Liu Nangui Lv Chan Wang Hongwei Zhang Yuanyuan Yue Jingdong Xu Xiaotao Bi Xiaojun Bao 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,1:2
