| 1 | Risk factors of CMV infection in patients after umbilical cord blood transplantation: a multicenter study in China显示文摘Objective:This retrospective study examined risk factors for cytomegalovirus(CMV)infection after umbilical cord blood transplantation(UCBT)and the impact of CMV infection on patient survival.Methods:In all 176 patients,plasma CMV DNA was negative prior to the transplantation,and examined twice a week for 100 d,and then once weekly for additional 300 d.Preemptive antiviral therapy(ganciclovir or foscarnet)was started in patients with>1,000/mL copies of CMV DNA but no full-blown CMV disease,and was discontinued upon two consecutive negative reports of blood CMV DNA test.The survival and risk factors for CMV infection or disease were examined using logistic regression.Results:CMV infection developed in 71%(125/176)of the patients,with a median onset of 32 d.Four patients(2.3%)developed CMV disease.Neither the 5-year overall survival(OS)nor event-free survival(EFS)differed significantly in infected patients vs.those with no infection(59.4%vs.64.8%,P=0.194;53.4%vs.59.1%,P=0.226).A stepwise multivariate analysis indicated an association of CMV infection with age,high-dose glucocorticoids,the number of transplanted CD34+cells,and the number of platelet transfusion,but not with gender,the conditioning regimen,and the day of neutrophil recovery and chronic graft-versushost disease(cGVHD).Conclusions:CMV infection is very common after UCBT,but does not seem to affect long-term survival with preemptive antiviral treatment. | Juan Tong Zimin Sun Huilan Liu Liangquan Geng Changcheng Zheng Baolin Tang Kaidi Song Wen Yao Xin Liu | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2013,25,6: | 8 |

| 5 | Clinical Prediction Models for Hepatitis B Virus-related Acute-on-chronic Liver Failure:A Technical Report显示文摘Background and Aims:It is critical but challenging to predict the prognosis of hepatitis B virus-related acute-on-chronic liver failure(HBV-ACLF).This study systematically summarized and evaluated the quality and performance of available clinical prediction models(CPMs).Methods:A keyword search of articles on HBV-ACLF CPMs published in PubMed from January 1995 to April 2020 was performed.Both the quality and performance of the CPMs were assessed.Results:Fifty-two CPMs were identified,of which 31 were HBV-ACLF specific.The modeling data were mostly derived from retrospective(83.87%)and single-center(96.77%)cohorts,with sample sizes ranging from 46 to 1,202.Three-month mortality was the most common endpoint.The Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver consensus(51.92%)and Chinese Medical Association liver failure guidelines(40.38%)were commonly used for HBV-ACLF diagnosis.Serum bilirubin(67.74%),the international normalized ratio(54.84%),and hepatic encephalopathy(51.61%)were the most frequent variables used in models.Model discrimination was commonly evaluated(88.46%),but model calibration was seldom performed.The model for end-stage liver disease score was the most widely used(84.62%);however,varying performance was reported among the studies.Conclusions:Substantial limitations lie in the quality of HBV-ACLF-specific CPMs.Disease severity of study populations may impact model performance.The clinical utility of CPMs in predicting short-term prognosis of HBV-ACLF remains to be undefined. | Xia Yu Yi Lu Shanshan Sun Huilan Tu Xianbin Xu Kai Gong Junjie Yao Yu Shi Jifang Sheng | 2021 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,6: | 3 |

| 7 | A two-step strategy for constructing stable gel polymer electrolyte interfaces for long-life cycle lithium metal batteries显示文摘Due to the high reactivity between the lithium metal and traditional organic liquid electrolyte,the reaction of lithium metal electrode is usually uneven and there are also unexpected side reactions.Therefore,construction of a stable solid electrolyte interface(SEI)is highly essential to improve the performance of lithium metal anode.Herein,a sandwich-like gel polymer electrolyte(GPE)is accurately prepared by in-situ polymerization of Polyacrylonitrile(PAN)nanofiber membrane with trihydroxymethylpropyl trimethylacrylate(TMPTMA)and 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate(HDDA).The resulting GPE with a tightly cross-linked gel skeleton exhibits high ionic conductivity and electrochemical window of 5.6 V versus Li/Li^(+).In particular,the pretreatment of Li metal anode can improve the interfacial wettability,and the synergy of the chemically pretreated Li metal anode surface and the GPE can electrochemically in situ generate SEI with compositionally stable and fluorine-rich inorganic components.Owing to these unique advantages,the interfacial compatibility between the GPE and lithium metal is greatly improved.Meanwhile,the formed SEI can inhibit the formation of lithium dendrites,and decomposition of GPE would be alleviated.The assembled Li-FEC|GPE|LiFePO_(4) full cell shows a high initial discharge capacity of 157.1 mA h g^(-1),and maintains a capacity retention of 92.3%after 100 cycles at 0.2C. | Qiujun Wang Pin Zhang Weiqi Zhu Di Zhang Zhaojin Li Huan Wang Huilan Sun Bo Wang Li-Zhen Fan | 2022 | Journal of Materiomics2022,8,5: | 0 |

| 11 | Oleophobic interaction mediated slippery organogels with ameliorated mechanical performance and satisfactory fouling-resistance显示文摘Owing to their inherent semi-solid property and lubricant ability,organogels manifest various unique characteristics and serve as promising candidates for antifouling.However,the poor mechanical properties of organogels often limit their practical applications.Herein,we report a simple and effective method to prepare organogels with reinforced mechanical performance and surface lubricant ability with the synergistic roles played by oleophobic and oleophilic chains.The rigid oleophobic chains have a poor affinity to lubricating solvent,which gives rise to high oleophobic interactions between polymer networks;the soft oleophilic chains possess a high affinity to the low surface energy solvent,which lead to high solvent content to maintain the satisfactory lubricant capacity.The organogel of oleophobic methyl methacrylate(MMA)and oleophilic lauryl methacrylate(LMA)is chosen as a representative example to illustrate this concept.With the optimal composition,the as-prepared organogels offer satisfactory tensile fracture stress,fracture strain,Young’s modulus,toughness,and tearing fracture energy of 480 k Pa,550%,202 k Pa,1.14 MJ m,and 5.14 k J m,respectively,which are far beyond the classical PLMA organogels.Furthermore,the biofouling resistance tests demonstrate 4 to 9-fold reduction of protein and bacteria adhesion on the reinforced organogels surface in comparison to the glass substrate and solvent-free dry organogels.This simple and effective approach to toughen organogels,we hope,can be applied in various fields with different practical functional requirements in the future. | Liangpeng Zeng Hongyuan Cui Huilan Peng Xiaohang Sun Yi Liu Jingliang Huang Xinxing Lin Hui Guo Wei-Hua Li | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,26: | 0 |
