| 2 | Genetic diversity in Chinese modern wheat varieties revealed by microsatellite markers显示文摘Genetic diversity of 1680 modern varieties in Chinese candidate core collections was analyzed at 78 SSR loci by fluorescence detection system. A total of 1336 alleles were detected, of which 1253 alleles could be annotated into 71 loci. For these 71 loci, the alleles ranged from 4 to 44 with an average of 17.6, and the PIC values changed from 0.19 to 0.89 with an average of 0.69. (1) In the three genomes of wheat, the average genetic richness was B>A>D, and the genetic diversity indexes were B>D>A. (2) Among the seven homoeologous groups, the average genetic richness was 2=7>3>4>6>5>1, and the genetic diversity indexes were 7>3>2>4>6>5>1. As a whole, group 7 possessed the highest genetic diversity, while groups 1 and 5 were the lowest. (3) In the 21 wheat chromosomes, 7A, 3B and 2D possessed much higher genetic diversity, while 2A, 1B, 4D, 5D and 1D were the lowest. (4) The highest average genetic diversity index existed in varieties bred in the 1950s, and then it declined continually. However, the change tendency of genetic diversity among decades was not greatly sharp. This was further illustrated by changes of the average genetic distance between varieties. In the 1950s it was the largest (0.731). Since the 1960s, it has decreased gradually (0.711, 0.706, 0.696, 0.695). The genetic base of modern varieties is becoming narrower and narrower. | 3 | Nonlinear Adaptive Robust Force Control of Hydraulic Load Simulator显示文摘This paper deals with the high performance force control of hydraulic load simulator. Many previous works for hydraulic force control are based on their linearization equations, but hydraulic inherent nonlinear properties and uncertainties make the conventional feedback proportional-integral-derivative control not yield to high-performance requirements. In this paper, a nonlinear system model is derived and linear parameterization is made for adaptive control. Then a discontinuous projection-based nonlinear adaptive robust force controller is developed for hydraulic load simulator. The proposed controller constructs an asymptotically stable adaptive controller and adaptation laws, which can compensate for the system nonlinearities and uncertain parameters. Meanwhile a well-designed robust controller is also developed to cope with the hydraulic system uncertain nonlinearities. The controller achieves a guaranteed transient performance and final tracking accuracy in the presence of both parametric uncertainties and uncertain nonlinearities; in the absence of uncertain nonlinearities, the scheme also achieves asymptotic tracking performance. | 5 | Mechanism of floral scent production in Osmanthus fragrans and the production and regulation of its key floral constituents,β-ionone and linalool显示文摘Sweet osmanthus(Osmanthus fragrans Lour.)is among the top ten most well-known flowers in China and is recognized as both an aromatic plant and ornamental flower.Here,manual sectioning,scanning electron microscopy,and transmission electron microscopy of sweet osmanthus petals revealed that large amounts of lipids are present inside the petal cells and on the cell surfaces.However,no secretory structures were observed.Instead,the petal cells protrude slightly outward,and the surfaces of the cells are adorned with highly regular brush-shaped hairs.The surfaces of the‘Yingui’petals possessed mostly curled and more numerous hairs,whereas the‘Dangui’petals possessed fewer brush-shaped and more sparsely arranged hairs.In addition,many granular substances were attached to the brush-shaped hairs,and the granules were denser on the hairs of the‘Yingui’petals compared to the hairs on the‘Dangui’petals.Furthermore,35 aromatic components in the‘Yingui’petals and 30 aromatic components in the‘Dangui’petals were detected via GC-MS.The main aromatic component of the‘Yingui’petals wasβ-ionone,whereas that of the‘Dangui’petals was linalool and its oxides.Transcriptome sequencing and qRT-PCR indicated that the highβ-ionone content in the‘Yingui’petals was due to the overexpression of CCD1 and CCD4 and that the high linalool content in the‘Dangui’petals was due to the overexpression of MECS,HDR,IDI1,and LIS1,which function upstream of the linalool synthetic pathway.In particular,the expression levels of CCD4 and LIS1 were upregulated by 5.5-and 5.1-fold in the‘Yingui’and‘Dangui’petals,respectively.One transcription factor(ERF61)was cloned and named,and the expression pattern of ERF61 in sweet osmanthus petals was found to be generally consistent with that of CCD4.Tobacco transformation experiments,yeast one-hybrid experiments,and electrophoretic mobility shift assays indicated that ERF61 binds to the CCD4 promoter and stimulates CCD4 expression,thereby regulating the synthesis ofβ-ionone in sweet osmanthus petals. | Yuanji Han Hongyun Wang Xiaodan Wang Ke Li Meifang Dong Yong Li Qian Zhu Fude Shang | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 13 |

The concerned vehicle is propelled by two symmetrical undulating long-fins installed on both sides. Ten servo motors are employed to drive the long-fins and cosine wave function is employed for motor control. A real-time control system is designed for controlling the long-fins by adjusting its oscillating frequency and oscillating amplitude. An inertial measurement unit is installed to collect the accelerations and angular velocity. To obtain the relationship between oscillating frequency/amplitude and swimming performance, kinematic analysis and hydromechanic analysis are given. By dividing the long-fin into many small elements and computing the hydrodynamic force acting on each element, the instantaneous thrust generated by the long-fin is obtained. Then the average thrust of the long-fin is obtained by summing up the forces acted on the elements in one undulating period. Then swimming experiments are carried out to validate the vehicle design and kinematic analysis and hydromechanic analysis. And two swimming motion modes including marching and rotating locomotion are chosen. | 8 | The High Energy X-ray telescope (HE) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Insight-Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(Insight-HXMT) is a broadband X-ray and γ-ray(1-3000 ke V) astronomy satellite. One of its three main telescopes is the High Energy X-ray telescope(HE). The main detector plane of HE comprises 18 Na I(Tl)/Cs I(Na) phoswich detectors, where Na I(Tl) is used as the primary detector to measure ~ 20-250 ke V photons incident from the field of view(FOV) defined by collimators, and Cs I(Na) is used as the active shielding detector to Na I(Tl) by pulse shape discrimination. Additionally, Cs I(Na) is used as an omnidirectional γ-ray monitor. The HE collimators have a diverse FOV,i.e. 1.1°×5.7°(15 units), 5.7°×5.7°(2 units), and blocked(1 unit). Therefore, the combined FOV of HE is approximately5.7°×5.7°. Each HE detector has a diameter of 190 mm resulting in a total geometrical area of approximately 5100 cm2, and the energy resolution is ~15% at 60 ke V. For each recorded X-ray event by HE, the timing accuracy is less than 10 μs and the deadtime is less than 10 μs. HE is used for observing spectra and temporal variability of X-ray sources in the 20-250 ke V band either by pointing observations for known sources or scanning observations to unveil new sources. Additionally, HE is used for monitoring the γ-ray burst in 0.2-3 Me V band. | 13 | Microbial diversity accumulates in a downstream direction in the Three Gorges Reservoir显示文摘Organic and inorganic materials migrate downstream and have important roles in regulating environmental health in the river networks.However,it remains unclear whether and how a mixture of materials(i.e.,microbial species)from various upstream habitats contribute to microbial community coalescence upstream of a dam.Here we track the spatial variation in microbial abundance and diversity in the Three Gorges Reservoir based on quantitative PCR and 16 S rRNA gene high-throughput sequencing data.We further quantitatively assess the relative contributions of microbial species from mainstem,its tributaries,and the surrounding riverbank soils to the area immediately upstream of the Three Gorges Dam(TGD).We found an increase of microbial diversity and the convergent microbial distribution pattern in areas immediately upstream of TGD,suggesting this area become a new confluence for microbial diversity immigrating from upstream.Indeed,the number of shared species increased from upstream to TGD but unique species decreased,indicating immigration of various sources of microbial species overwhelms local environmental conditions in structuring microbial community close to TGD.By quantifying the sources of microbial species close to TGD,we found little contribution from soils as compared to tributaries,especially for sites closer to TGD,suggesting tributary microbes have greater influence on microbial diversity and environmental health in the Three Gorges Reservoir.Collectively,our results suggest that tracking microbial geographic origin and evaluating accumulating effects of microbial diversity shed light on the ecological processes in microbial communities and provide information for regulating aquatic ecological health. | Shang Wang Weiguo Hou Hongchen Jiang Liuqin Huang Hailiang Dong Shu Chen Bin Wang Yongcan Chen Binliang Lin Ye Deng | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,3: | 7 |

| 15 | High-effciency aircraft antiskid brake control algorithm via runway condition identification based on an on-off valve array显示文摘The aircraft antiskid braking system is an important hydraulic system for preventing tire bursts and ensuring safe take-off and landing. The brake system adjusts the force applied on the brake discs by controlling the brake pressure. Traditional aircraft antiskid braking systems achieve antiskid performance by controlling the braking pressure with an electrohydraulic servo valve.Because the pilot stage of an electrohydraulic servo valve is easily blocked by carbonized hydraulic oil, the servo valve would become a dangerous weak point for aircraft safety. This paper proposes a new approach that uses an on-off valve array to replace the servo valve for pressure control. Based on this new pressure control component, an efficient antiskid control algorithm that can utilize this discontinuous feature is proposed. Furthermore, the algorithm has the ability to identify the runway circumstances. To overcome the discontinuity in the process of using an on-off valve array, the Filippov framework is introduced. The conditions of convergence of the system are also discussed.The results of the digital simulations and the hardware-in-the-loop(HIL) braking experiments are used to verify the efficiency and stability of the proposed control algorithm. So far, some strategies including designing nanostructures,incorporating conductive support or foreign elements have been adopted to develop efficient electrocatalysts. Herein, we summarize recent progresses and propose in-situ electrochemical activation as a new pretreating technique for enhanced catalytic performances. The activation techniques mainly comprise facile electrochemical processes such as anodic oxidation, cathodic reduction, etching, lithium-assisted tuning and counter electrode electro-dissolution. During these electrochemical treatments, the catalyst surfaces are modified from bulk phase, which can tune local electronic structures, create more active species, enlarge surface area and thus improve the catalytic performances. Meanwhile, this technique can couple the atomic, electronic structures with electrocatalysis mechanisms for water splitting.Compared to traditional chemical treatment, the in-situ electrochemical activation techniques have superior advantages such as facile operation, mild environment, variable control, high efficiency and flexibility. | 19 | Shugan-decoction relieves visceral hyperalgesia and reduces TRPV1 and SP colon expression显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the therapeutic effect of Shugan-decoction(SGD)on visceral hyperalgesia and colon gene expressions using a rat model.METHODS:Ninety-six adult male Wistar rats were randomized into six equal groups for assessment of SGD effects on psychological stress-induced changes using the classic water avoidance stress(WAS)test.Untreated model rats were exposed to chronic(1 h/d for 10 d consecutive)WAS conditions;experimental treatment model rats were administered with intragastric SGD at1 h before WAS on consecutive days 4-10(low-dose:0.1g/mL;mid-dose:0.2 g/mL;high-dose:0.4 g/mL);control treatment model rats were similarly administered with the irritable bowel syndrome drug,dicetel(0.0042g/mL);untreated normal control rats received no drug and were not subjected to the WAS test.At the end of the 10-d WAS testing period,a semi-quantitative measurement of visceral sensitivity was made by assessing the abdominal withdrawal reflex(AWR)to colorectal balloon-induced distension(at 5 mmHg increments)to determine the pain pressure threshold(PPT,evidenced by pain behavior).Subsequently,the animals were sacrificed and colonic tissues collected for assessment of changes in expressions of proteins related to visceral hypersensitivity(transient receptor potential vanilloid 1,TRPV1)and sustained visceral hyperalgesia(substance P,SP)by immunohistochemistry and real-time polymerase chain reaction.Inter-group differences were assessed by paired t test or repeated measures analysis of variance.RESULTS:The WAS test successfully induced visceral hypersensitivity,as evidenced by a significantly reduced AWR pressure in the untreated model group as compared to the untreated normal control group(190.4±3.48 mmHg vs 224.0±4.99 mmHg,P<0.001).SGD treatments at mid-dose and high-dose and the dicetel treatment significantly increased the WAS-reduced PPT(212.5±2.54,216.5±3.50 and 217.7±2.83 mmHg respectively,all P<0.001);however,the low-dose SGD treatment produced no significant effect on the WAS-reduced PPT(198.3±1.78 mmHg,P>0.05).These trends corresponded to the differential expressions observed for both TRPV1 protein(mid-dose:1.64±0.08 and high-dose:1.69±0.12 vs untreated model:3.65±0.32,P<0.001)and mRNA(0.44±0.16 and0.15±0.03 vs 1.39±0.15,P<0.001)and SP protein(0.99±0.20 and 1.03±0.23 vs 2.03±0.12,P<0.01)and mRNA(1.64±0.19 and 1.32±0.14 vs 2.60±0.33,P<0.05).These differential expressions of TRPV1 and SP related to mid-and high-dose SGD treatments were statistically similar to the changes induced by dicetel treatment.No signs of overt damage to the rat system were observed for any of the SGD dosages.CONCLUSION:Shugan-decoction can reduce chronic stress-induced visceral hypersensitivity in rats,and the regulatory mechanism may involve mediating the expressions of TRPV1 and SP in colon tissues. | Jing-Juan Shang Jian-Ye Yuan Hui Xu Rong-Zhu Tang Yue-Bin Dong Jian-Qun Xie | 2013 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,44: | 6 |
| 20 | Analysis of aristolochic acids, aristololactams and their analogues using liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry显示文摘More than 80 aristolochic acids(AAs) and aristololactams(ALs) have been found in plants of the Aristolochiaceae family, but relatively few have been fully studied. The present study aimed at developing and validating a liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(LC/MS^n) for the analysis of these compounds. We characterized the fragmentation behaviors of 31 AAs, ALs, and their analogues via high performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. We summarized their fragmentation rules and used these rules to identify the constituents contained in Aristolochia contorta, Ar. debilis, Ar. manshurensis, Ar. fangchi, Ar. cinnabarina, and Ar. mollissima. The AAs and ALs showed very different MS behaviors. In MS1 of AAs, the characteristic pseudomolecular ions were [M + NH_4]^+, [M + H]^+, and [M + H - H_2O]^+. However, only [M + H]^+ was found in the MS1 of ALs, which was simpler than that of AAs. Distinct MSn fragmentation patterns were found for AAs and ALs, showing the same skeleton among the different substituent groups. The distribution of the 31 constituents in the 6 species of Aristolochia genus was reported for the first time. 25 Analogues of AAs and ALs were detected in this genus. A hierarchical schemes and a calculating formula of the molecular formula of these nitrophenanthrene carboxylic acids and their lactams were proposed.
