| 1 | Study on UV Shielding TiO_2 Thin Film Prepared by Sol-Gel Method显示文摘Titanium dioxide (TiO_2) thin films were prepared on microscopes slides by sol-gel and dip-coating processes from specially formulated sols.The results show that there exists anatase and rutile structure of TiO_2 when heat treatment temperature is 450℃,and at 800℃,TiO_2 particle size is of below 100 nm and rutile structure is presented.In the range of 360 nm~400 nm the transmittance of TiO_2 sol increases with the increasing of the concentration of Ti(OC_4H_9)_4 in ethanol solution. | 4 | Large-scale CO(J=1-0)Observations toward the M120.1+3.0 Molecular Cloud:A Filament with a Chain of Starburst Clusters显示文摘We present large-scale(2°×2°)observations toward the molecular cloud M120.1+3.0,using ^(12)CO,^(13)CO and C^(18)O(J=1-0)data from the Purple Mountain Observatory 13.7 m millimeter telescope.The distance of the cloud is measured to be~1.1 kpc.Using the ^(13)CO data,we identify a main filament F1 and two sub-filaments F2 and F3 in the cloud,which together show a'hub-filament'structure.Filaments F1 and F2 are thermally supercritical.Furthermore,F1 displays clear localized systematic motions in the ^(13)CO position-velocity diagram,which could be explained by accretion along the filament.The mean estimated accretion rate is~132M_(⊙)Myr^(-1).Approximately 150 ^(13)CO clumps are identified in the cloud,of which 39 are gravitationally bound.Most of these virialized clumps are well distributed along the supercritical filaments F1 and F2.Based on the complementary infrared and optical data,we identify~186 young stellar objects in the observed area and extract five clusters within the dense ridge of F1.The calculated star formation rate(SFR)surface densities(∑_(SFR))in the clusters range from 1.4 to 2.5 M_(⊙)Myr^(-1)pc^(-2),with a mean value of~2.0M_(⊙)Myr^(-1)pc^(-2).We therefore regard them as mini-starburst cluster candidates.The comparison between ∑_(SFR) and column density N_(gas) along the skeleton of F1 suggests that star formation is closely related to the dense gas in the cloud.Along the main filament F1,five bipolar outflows are also found.All these results indicate intense star-forming activities in the M120.1+3.0 molecular cloud. | Li Sun Xuepeng Chen Jiancheng Feng Min Fang Shiyu Zhang Weihua Guo Yan Sun Yang Su Shaobo Zhang Miaomiao Zhang Xiao-Long Wang Qing-Zeng Yan Xin Zhou Ji Yang | 2023 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,1: | 0 |
| 5 | Rare peptide anchors of HLA class I alleles contribute to the COVID-19 disease severity and T cell memory显示文摘Understanding how human leukocyte antigen(HLA)polymorphism affects both the susceptibility and severity of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection will help to identify individuals at higher risk to better manage and prioritize vaccination at the clinical level and explain the differences in epidemic trends in different regions at the epidemiological level.This study compared the frequencies of HLA class I alleles(HLA-A,B)in 214 coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients with different disease severity and 35 healthy controls and analyzed the correlations between specific HLA alleles and disease severity and T cell memory.The results showed no significant difference in HLA allele frequencies between COVID-19 patients and healthy controls(P>0.05).The allele HLA-B*13:02 was significantly correlated with the disease severity of COVID-19 patients(P=0.006).After adjustment for age and disease severity,the T cell responses of COVID-19 convalescents with the allele HLA-B*40:01 may be lower at six months(P=0.044)and 12 months(P=0.069).Moreover,these results may be due to their rare peptide anchors by analyzing the binding peptide motifs of these HLA alleles.The study may be valuable for investigating the potential association of specific HLA alleles with SARS-CoV-2 infection. | Xin Wang Jie Zhang Peipei Guo Yuanyuan Guo Xiaonan Yang Maoshun Liu Danni Zhang Yaxin Guo Jianbo Zhan Kun Cai Jikin Zhou Shaobo Dong Jun Liu | 2023 | Biosafety and Health2023,5,6: | 0 |

| 9 | Tailoring circular dichroism via the Born-Kuhn model for meta-holograms显示文摘Chirality, as one of the ubiquitous properties in nature, has aroused striking attention in the fields of physics and materials sciences. For tailoring of light with more degree of freedom, circular dichroism has been considered as the auxiliary dimension to improving such an issue. Inspired by the Born-Kuhn plasmonic oscillation model, we demonstrate and discuss a chiral resonator to reveal reverse circular dichroism within two separate frequency bands in the microwave regime. The underlying physical mechanisms of bonding and anti-bounding modes are analyzed via transmission/reflection spectra and surface current distributions for different chiral enantiomers. To leverage the proposed paradigm to the application levels, especially for metaholography, we conduct the numerical simulation and experimental demonstration of two proofs of principles. Based on the Pancharatnam-Berry phase/amplitude modulation and complex-amplitude manipulation, respectively, the meta-holograms with independent targets of reconstructing images in full-space and reflected regions are achieved.
