| 1 | Meltblown fabric vs nanofiber membrane, which is better for fabricating personal protective equipments显示文摘The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has led to a great demand on the personal protection products such as reusable masks.As a key raw material for masks,meltblown fabrics play an important role in rejection of aerosols.However,the electrostatic dominated aerosol rejection mechanism of meltblown fabrics prevents the mask from maintaining the desired protective effect after the static charge degradation.Herein,novel reusable masks with high aerosols rejection efficiency were fabricated by the introduction of spider-web bionic nanofiber membrane(nano cobweb-biomimetic membrane).The reuse stability of meltblown and nanofiber membrane mask was separately evaluated by infiltrating water,75%alcohol solution,and exposing under ultraviolet(UV)light.After the water immersion test,the filtration efficiency of meltblown mask was decreased to about 79%,while the nanofiber membrane was maintained at 99%.The same phenomenon could be observed after the 75%alcohol treatment,a high filtration efficiency of 99%was maintained in nanofiber membrane,but obvious negative effect was observed in meltblown mask,which decreased to about 50%.In addition,after long-term expose under UV light,no filtration efficiency decrease was observed in nanofiber membrane,which provide a suitable way to disinfect the potential carried virus.This work successfully achieved the daily disinfection and reuse of masks,which effectively alleviate the shortage of masks during this special period. | Junwei Wu Hongjia Zhou Jingyi Zhou Xiao Zhu Bowen Zhang Shasha Feng Zhaoxiang Zhong Lingxue Kong Weihong Xing | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,8: | 4 |

| 4 | Emerging biotechnology applications in natural product and synthetic pharmaceutical analyses显示文摘Pharmaceutical analysis is a discipline based on chemical, physical, biological, and information technologies. At present, biotechnological analysis is a short branch in pharmaceutical analysis;however, bioanalysis is the basis and an important part of medicine. Biotechnological approaches can provide information on biological activity and even clinical efficacy and safety, which are important characteristics of drug quality. Because of their advantages in reflecting the overall biological effects or functions of drugs and providing visual and intuitive results, some biotechnological analysis methods have been gradually applied to pharmaceutical analysis from raw material to manufacturing and final product analysis,including DNA super-barcoding, DNA-based rapid detection, multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification, hyperspectral imaging combined with artificial intelligence, 3D biologically printed organoids,omics-based artificial intelligence, microfluidic chips, organ-on-a-chip, signal transduction pathwayrelated reporter gene assays, and the zebrafish thrombosis model. | 7 | Localization of elastic waves in one-dimensional detuned phononic crystals with flexoelectric effect显示文摘Although forbidden band effect in perfectly periodic phononic crystals(PC)is very attractive,random disordered(i.e.detuning)phenomenon is inevitable in engineering processing,thus explor-ing the effect of detuning on the wave characteristics of PC becomes a necessity.In this study,fundamental governing equa-tions and boundary conditions are derived from the principle of virtual work.Wave characteristics and localization factor of one-dimensional(1D)detuned nano-PC are investigated based on the transfer matrix method,with flexoelectric effect duly accounted for.Subsequently,with BaTiO_(3)��SrTiO_(3) nano-PC taken for illustration,forbidden band properties and localization factor of 1D elastic waves in harmonic and detuned states are systematically character-ized.It is demonstrated that localization factor can characterize the energy band structure of 1D PC perfectly.Flexoelectric effect tends to widen the width of forbidden band with increasing detuning,and detuning is linearly related to the bandwidth.The forbidden band is more sensitive to flexoelectric coefficient detuning than thickness detuning.The research results provide useful theoretical guidance for designing high-frequency nanoscaled devices with the function of filtering based on band gap effect of nano-PC. | Cheng Shen Yifan Kong Tian Jian Lu Shasha Yang | 2022 | International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2022,13,2: | 1 |
