| 2 | Natural variations of ZmSRO1d modulate the trade-off between drought resistance and yield by affecting ZmRBOHC-mediated stomatal ROS production in maize显示文摘While crop yields have historically increased,drought resistance has become a major concern in the context of global climate change.The trade-off between crop yield and drought resistance is a common phenomenon;however,the underlying molecular modulators remain undetermined.Through genome-wide association study,we revealed that three non-synonymous variants in a drought-resistant allele of ZmSRO1d-R resulted in plasma membrane localization and enhanced mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase activity of ZmSRO1d toward ZmRBOHC,which increased reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels in guard cells and promoted stomatal closure.ZmSRO1d-R enhanced plant drought resilience and protected grain yields under drought conditions,but it led to yield drag under favorable conditions.In contrast,loss-of-function mutants of ZmRBOHC showed remarkably increased yields under well-watered conditions,whereas they showed compromised drought resistance.Interestingly,by analyzing 189 teosinte accessions,we found that the ZmSRO1d-R allele was present in teosinte but was selected against during maize domestication and modern breeding.Collectively,our work suggests that the allele frequency reduction of ZmSRO1d-R in breeding programs may have compromised maize drought resistance while increased yields.Therefore,introduction of the ZmSRO1d-R allele into modern maize cultivars would contribute to food security under drought stress caused by global climate change. | Huajian Gao Junjun Cui Shengxue Liu Shuhui Wang Yongyan Lian Yunting Bai Tengfei Zhu Haohao Wu Yijie Wang Shiping Yang Xuefeng Li Junhong Zhuang Limei Chen Zhizhong Gong Feng Qin | 2022 | Molecular Plant2022,15,10: | 2 |

| 8 | Fast growth of large single-crystalline WS_(2) monolayers via chemical vapor deposition显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)tungsten disulfide(WS2)has emerged as a promising ultrathin semiconductor for building high-performance nanoelectronic devices.The controllable synthesis of WS2 monolayers(1L)with both large size and high quality remains as a challenge.Here,we developed a new approach for the chemical vapor deposition(CVD)growth of WS2 monolayers by using K2WS4 as the growth precursor.The simple chemistry involved in our approach allowed for improved controllability and a fast growth rate of~30μm·min−1.We achieved the reliable growth of 1L WS2 flakes with side lengths of up to~500μm and the obtained WS2 flakes were 2D single crystals with low density of defects over a large area as evidenced by various spectroscopic and microscopic characterizations.In addition,the large 1L WS2 single crystals we obtained showed higher electrical performance than their counterparts grown with previous approaches,demonstrating the potential of our approach in producing high quality and large 2D semiconductors for future nanoelectronics. | Shengxue Zhou Lina Liu Shuang Cui Xiaofan Ping Dake Hu Liying Jiao | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,6: | 1 |

| 10 | Novel P2-type layered medium-entropy ceramics oxide as cathode material for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘High-entropy oxides(HEOs)and medium-entropy oxides(MEOs)are new types of single-phase solid solution materials.MEOs have rarely been reported as positive electrode material for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs).In this study,we first proposed the concept of the application of MEOs in SIBs.P2-type 3-cation oxide Na_(2/3)Ni_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)Fe_(1/3)O_(2)(NaNMF)and 4-cation oxide Na_(2/3)Ni_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)Fe_(1/3-x)Al_(x)O_(2)(NaNMFA)were prepared using the solid-state method,rather than the doping technology.In addition,the importance of the concept of entropy stabilization in material performance and battery cycling was demonstrated by testing 3-cation(NaNMF)and 4-cation(NaNMFA)oxides in the same system.Thus,NaNMFA can provide a reversible capacity of about 125.6 mAh-g”1 in the voltage range of 2-4.2 V,and has enhanced cycle stability.The capacity and decay law of the MEO batteries indicate that the configurational entropy(1.28 R(NaNMFA)>1.10 R(NaNMF))of the cationic system,is the main factor affecting the structural and cycle stability of the electrode material.This work emphasizes that the rational design of MEOs with novel structures and different electrochemically active elements may be the strategy for exploring high-performance SIB cathode materials in next-generation energy storage devices. | Shengxue YAN Shaohua LUO Liu YANG Jian FENG Pengwei LI Qing WANG Yahui ZHANG Xin LIU | 2022 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,1: | 1 |

| 12 | The impact of body weight trajectory from childhood on chronic inflammation in adulthood: The Bogalusa Heart Study显示文摘Importance:The impact of long-term burden of excessive body weight,beginning in childhood,on inflammatory status in adulthood has been poorly described.Objective:To characterize the longitudinal body mass index(BMI)trajectory from childhood and examine its relationship with inflammatory status in adulthood.Methods:We included 1285 adults who had 4-15 repeat measurements of BMI from childhood to adulthood.The area under the curve(AUC)of growth curves was calculated to characterize long-term burden(total AUC)and trends(incremental AUC)of BMI.Results:After adjusting for covariates,higher values of BMI in terms of childhood and adulthood,as well as total and incremental AUC,were strongly associated with elevated levels of adult C-reactive protein(CRP)in the four race-sex groups.There were significant differences in linear and nonlinear curve parameters between the normal and high CRP groups for all race-sex groups(P<0.01).Compared with participants who had consistently low BMI in both childhood and adulthood,participants with high BMI in adulthood had higher CRP levels(P<0.001),irrespective of their childhood BMI status;participants with high BMI in childhood but low BMI in adulthood had similar adult CRP levels.Interpretation:The impact of excessive body weight on inflammation is cumulative and exacerbated over time.The influence of childhood overweight/obesity on inflammatory status in adulthood can be alleviated by reducing adiposity in adulthood. | Yinkun Yan Shengxu Li Yang Liu Lydia Bazzano Jiang He Jie Mi Wei Chen | 2021 | Pediatric Investigation2021,5,1: | 0 |
| 13 | A Self-Biomineralized Novel Adenovirus Vectored COVID-19 Vaccine for Boosting Immunization of Mice显示文摘SARS-CoV-2 has caused more than 3.8 million deaths worldwide,and several types of COVID-19 vaccines are urgently approved for use,including adenovirus vectored vaccines.However,the thermal instability and pre-existing immunity have limited its wide applications.To circumvent these obstacles,we constructed a self-biomineralized adenovirus vectored COVID-19 vaccine(Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P)by generating a calcium phosphate mineral exterior(Ca P)based on Sad23L vector carrying the full-length gene of SARS-Co V-2 spike protein(S)under physiological condition.This Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P vaccine was examined for its characteristics of structure,thermostability,immunogenicity and avoiding the problem of preexisting immunity.In thermostability test,Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P could be stored at 4°C for over 45 days,26°C for more than 8 days and 37°C for approximately 2 days.Furthermore,Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P induced higher level of S-specific antibody and T cell responses,and was not affected by the pre-existing anti-Sad23L immunity,suggesting it could be used as boosting immunization on Sad23L-n Co V-S priming vaccination.The boosting with Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P vaccine induced high titers of 10^(5.01)anti-S1,10^(4.77)anti-S2 binding antibody,10^(3.04) pseudovirus neutralizing antibody(IC_(50)),and robust T-cell response of IFN-c(1466.16 SFCs/10^(6)cells)to S peptides,respectively.In summary,the selfbiomineralization of the COVID-19 vaccine Sad23L-n Co V-S-Ca P improved vaccine efficacy,which could be used in prime-boost regimen for prevention of SARS-Co V-2 infection in humans. | Shengxue Luo Panli Zhang Peng Zou Cong Wang Bochao Liu Cuiling Wu Tingting Li Ling Zhang Yuming Zhang Chengyao Li | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,5: | 0 |
| 14 | Lamellar-stacked cobalt-based nanopiles integrated with nitrogen/sulfur co-doped graphene as a bifunctional electrocatalyst for ultralong-term zinc-air batteries显示文摘Sluggish oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)kinetics inevitably impede the practical performance of rechargeable zinc-air batteries.Thus,combing the structural designability of transition metal-based electrocatalysts with anionic regulation is highly desired.Herein,mesoporous lamellar-stacked cobalt-based nanopiles with surface-sulfurization modification are elaborately designed and integrated with N/S co-doped graphene to build a robust OER/ORR bifunctional electrocatalyst.The lamellar-stacking mode of mesoporous nanosheets with abundant channels accelerates gas-liquid mass transfer,and partial-sulfurization of cobalt-based matrix surface efficiently improves the intrinsic OER activity.Meanwhile,N/S co-doped graphene further reinforces the ORR active sites while providing a stable conductive skeleton.As expected,this composite electrocatalyst delivers considerable bifunctional activity and stability,with an OER overpotential of 323 m V at 10 m A cm^(-2)and high durability.When applied in zinc-air batteries,remarkable ultralong-term stability over 4000 cycles and a maximum power density of 150.1 m W cm^(-2)are achieved.This work provides new insight into structurecomposition synergistic design of rapid-kinetics OER/ORR bifunctional electrocatalyst for nextgeneration metal-air batteries. | Lingxue Meng Wenwei Liu Yang Lu Zhenyi Liang Ting He Jinying Li Haoxiong Nan Shengxu Luo Jia Yu | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,6: | 0 |
| 15 | Effects of Probiotics on Gut Microbiota in Type 2 Diabetes Patients显示文摘Objective:To study the effect of probiotics on gut microbiota in Type 2 diabetes patients and its clinical application value.Methods:Select Type 2 diabetes patients to take orally probiotics for 24 weeks,collect stool samples of subjects at the baseline and end of the trial,identify and analyze gut microbiota of each sample by 16srRNA high-throughput sequencing,and compare the changes of blood glucose,blood lipid and insulin resistance before and after the intervention.Results:A total of 75 patients completed clinical observations.16srRNA high-throughput sequencing showed that the proportion of the subjects with increased Actinobacteria and Tenericutes at the end of the trial has increased(37.8% and 75.7% respectively).The genus level analysis showed that the number of subjects with increased intestinal probiotics and with decreased conditioned pathogens all increased.Cluster analysis before and after intervention showed that the gut microbiota of samples in the same group had a higher similarity.Compared with the subjects at the baseline status,at the end of the trial after the intervention,fasting blood glucose(FBG)of the subjects significantly decreased(P<0.05),the proportion of the subjects with triglyceride(TG)and cholesterol up to standard increased,and HOMA-IR was significantly improved(P<0.05).Conclusions:Probiotics can regulate the gut microbiota of Type 2 diabetes patients,promote fasting blood glucose(FBG)to reach the standard and improve insulin resistance,and help improve lipid metabolism. | Yan Zhang Hongyang Jiang Dianyuan Liu Shengxue Li Qing Wang | 2022 | Journal of Advances in Medicine Science2022,5,1: | 0 |

| 18 | Thermal Deformation Behavior and Processing Map of a Novel CrFeNiSi_(0.15)Medium Entropy Alloy显示文摘The thermal deformation behavior of a novel CrFeNiSi_(0.15)medium entropy alloy(MEA)was studied via isothermal compression experiments,with the processing parameter range of 900–1200℃and 0.001–1 s^(−1).According to experimental data,the modified constitutive equation had been obtained,which precisely predicted the flow behavior of CrFeNiSi_(0.15)MEA during thermal deformation.At the same time,the processing map was established on the basis of the dynamic material model(DMM)theory.According to the map,the optimal processing parameters were determined at 1130–1200℃/0.06–1 s−1,under which the power dissipation efficiency could reach above 34%.The peak efficiency was above 38%,which occurred at 1200℃/1 s^(−1).In such parameter,complete dynamic recrystallization(DRX)also occurred.The flow instability of CrFeNiSi_(0.15)MEA was estimated to occur at 900–985℃/0.12–1 s^(−1),which was shown as grain boundaries cracking.Furthermore,both the continuous DRX(CDRX)and discontinuous DRX(DDRX)occurred simultaneously during thermal deformation.Meanwhile,some twins were also newly formed during DRX process,most of which were primary twins.The occurrence of twinning was beneficial to promote the development of DRX behavior. | Hongbin Zhang Kang Chen Zhongwei Wang Haiping Zhou Chengcheng Shi Shengxue Qin Jie Liu Tingjun Lv Jian Xu | 2023 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,11: | 0 |
