2In-situ structure reconstitution of NiCo2Px for enhanced electrochemical water oxidation显示文摘Gaining insight into the structure evolution of transition-metal phosphides during anodic oxidation is significant to understand their oxygen evolution reaction(OER) mechanism, and then design highefficiency transition metal-based catalysts. Herein, NiCo_2P_x nanowires(NWs) vertically grown on Ni foam were adopted as the target to explore the in-situ morphology and chemical component reconstitution during the anodic oxidation. The major factors causing the transformation from NiCo_2P_x into the hierarchical NiCo_2P_x@CoNi(OOH)_x NWs are two competing reactions: the dissolution of NiCo_2P_x NWs and the oxidative re-deposition of dissolved Co^(2+) and Ni^(2+) ions, which is based primarily on the anodic bias applied on NiCo2 Px NWs. The well balance of above competing reactions, and local pH on the surface of NiCo_2P_x NW modulated by the anodic oxidation can serve to control the anodic electrodeposition and rearrangement of metal ions on the surface of NiCo_2P_x NWs, and the immediate conversion into CoNi(OOH)_x. Consequently, the regular hexagonal CoNi(OOH)_x nanosheets grew around NiCo_2P_x NWs.Benefiting from the active catalytic sites on the surface and the sufficient conductivity, the resultant NiCo_2P_x@CoNi(OOH)_x arrays also display good OER activity, in terms of the fast kinetics process, the high energy conversion efficiency, especially the excellent durability. 5A Core Leader Based Label Propagation Algorithm for Community Detection显示文摘A large number of community discovery algorithms have been proposed in the last decade. Recently, the sharp increase of network scale has become a great challenge for traditional community discovery algorithms. Label propagation algorithm is a semi-supervised machine learning method, which has linear time complexity when coping with large scale networks. However, the output result has less stability and the quality of the output communities still remains to be improved. Therefore, we propose a novel coreleader based label propagation algorithm for community detection called CLBLPA. Firstly, we find core leaders of potential community by using a greedy method. Then we utilize the label influence potential to guide the process of label propagation. Thus we can accelerate the convergence of algorithm and improve the stability of the output. 6Multivalent Sn species synergistically favours the CO_(2)-into-HCOOH conversion显示文摘Although Sn-based catalysts have recently achieved considerable improvement in selective electro-catalyzing CO_(2)into HCOOH,the role of various valence Sn species is not fully understood due to the complexity and uncertainty of their evolution during the reaction process.Here,inspired by the theoretical simulations that the concomitant multivalent Sn(Sn^(0),Sn^(Ⅱ)and Sn^(Ⅳ))can significantly motivate the intrinsic activity of Sn-based catalyst,the Sn/SnO/SnO_(2)nanosheets were proposed to experimentally verify the synergistic effect of multivalent Sn species on the CO_(2)-into-HCOOH conversion.During CO_(2)reduction reaction,the Sn/SnO/SnO_(2)nanosheets,which are prepared by the sequential hydrothermal reaction,calcined crystallization and low-temperature H_(2)treatment,exhibit a high FEHCOOH of 89.6%at-0.9 VRHE as well as a large cathodic current density.Systematic experimental and theoretical results corroborate that multivalent Sn species synergistically energize the CO_(2)activation,the HCOO*adsorption,and the electron transfer,which make Sn/SnO/SnO_(2)favour the conversion from CO_(2)into HCOOH in both thermodynamics and kinetics.This proof-of-concept study establishes a relationship between the enhanced performance and the multivalent Sn species,and also provides a practicable and scalable avenue for rational engineering high-powered electrocatalysts.Jun Wu Xue Bai Zhiyu Ren Shichao Du Ziehen Song Lei Zhao Bowen Liu Guiling Wang Honggang Fu 2021Nano Research2021,14,4:4

9Iron-Imprinted Single-Atomic Site Catalyst-Based Nanoprobe for Detection of Hydrogen Peroxide in Living Cells显示文摘Fe-based single-atomic site catalysts(SASCs),with the natural metalloproteases-like active site structure,have attracted widespread attention in biocatalysis and biosensing.Precisely,controlling the isolated single-atom Fe-N-C active site structure is crucial to improve the SASCs’performance.In this work,we use a facile ion-imprinting method(IIM)to synthesize isolated Fe-N-C single-atomic site catalysts(IIM-Fe-SASC).With this method,the ion-imprinting process can precisely control ion at the atomic level and form numerous well-defined single-atomic Fe-N-C sites.The IIM-Fe-SASC shows better peroxidase-like activities than that of non-imprinted references.Due to its excellent properties,IIM-Fe-SASC is an ideal nanoprobe used in the colorimetric biosensing of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)).Using IIM-Fe-SASC as the nanoprobe,in situ detection of H_(2)O_(2)generated from MDA-MB-231 cells has been successfully demonstrated with satisfactory sensitivity and specificity.This work opens a novel and easy route in designing advanced SASC and provides a sensitive tool for intracellular H_(2)O_(2)detection.Zhaoyuan Lyu Shichao Ding Maoyu Wang Xiaoqing Pan Zhenxing Feng Hangyu Tian Chengzhou Zhu Dan Du Yuehe Lin 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,9:2
10Pressureless crystallization of glass toward scintillating composite with high crystallinity for radiation detection显示文摘The construction of scintillating ceramics is of great technological importance for various fundamental applications, including medical diagnostic, security inspection, resource exploration and particle physics. The chief challenge is the facile and scalable synthesis of scintillating ceramics with the desirable combination of pore-free, reliable mechanical properties and excellent scintillating performance. Here we present a pressureless glass crystallization strategy for the construction of scintillating composite with high crystallinity. The fabricated scintillating composites are featured by small optical turbidity, excellent mechanical properties, and efficient scintillating luminescence with the scintillating light yield of 15,000 pH/MeV and about 2.46 times higher than that of the commercial BGO single crystal. Moreover, the scintillating composite derived radiation detector device is successfully elaborated. The practical application for monitoring gamma ray is demonstrated and the precision of the device is less than that of the tolerable deviation of 30%. 16Sequence-Defined Nanotubes Assembled from IR780-Conjugated Peptoids for Chemophototherapy of Malignant Glioma显示文摘Near-infrared(NIR)laser-induced phototherapy through NIR agents has demonstrated the great potential for cancer therapy.However,insufficient tumor killing due to the nonuniform heat or cytotoxic singlet oxygen(1 O2)distribution over tumors from phototherapy results in tumor recurrence and inferior outcomes.To achieve high tumor killing efficacy,one of the solutions is to employ the combinational treatment of phototherapy with other modalities,especially with chemotherapeutic agents.In this paper,a simple and effective multimodal therapeutic system was designed via combining chemotherapy,photothermal therapy(PTT),and photodynamic therapy(PDT)to achieve the polytherapy of malignant glioma which is one of the most aggressive tumors in the brain.IR-780(IR780)dye-labeled tube-forming peptoids(PepIR)were synthesized and self-assembled into crystalline nanotubes(PepIR nanotubes).These PepIR nanotubes showed an excellent efficacy for PDT/PTT because the IR780 photosensitizers were effectively packed and separated from each other within crystalline nanotubes by tuning IR780 density;thus,a self-quenching of these IR780 molecules was significantly reduced.Moreover,the efficient DOX loading achieved due to the nanotube large surface area contributed to an efficient and synergistic chemotherapy against glioma cells.Given the unique properties of peptoids and peptoid nanotubes,we believe that the developed multimodal DOX-loaded PepIR nanotubes in this work offer great promises for future glioma therapy in clinic.Xiaoli Cai Mingming Wang Peng Mu Tengyue Jian Dong Liu Shichao Ding Yanan Luo Dan Du Yang Song Chun-Long Chen Yuehe Lin 2021Research2021,,1:1
17Comprehensive treatment of latex wastewater and resource utilization of concentrated liquid显示文摘Latex wastewater is a kind of refractory organic wastewater containing high concentrations of organics and ammonia nitrogen.In this work,the combined process of forward osmosis(FO)and reverse osmosis(RO)was designed to treat the latex wastewater in the whole process,achieving the water recovery rate of 99%and basically no waste discharge after the catalytic oxidation process.The turbidity of the latex wastewater was decreased to below 1 NTU by microfiltration pretreatment,and then using MgCl_2 worked as the draw solution for FO process to treat the latex wastewater.Different operation conditions including adding acid or scale inhibitor as the pretreatment methods were conducted to improve the treatment performance of the combined process.After the treatment of the whole process,the concentration of COD was less than 20 mg·L^(-1),the concentration of NH_3-N was less than 10 mg·L^(-1),and the concentration of TP was less than 0.5 mg·L^(-1)for the treated latex wastewater.The water quality met standards of industrial water reuse after the complete analysis of the treated latex wastewater,meanwhile,useful substances of L-Quebrachitol(L-Q)were successfully extracted from the concentrated solution.Therefore,the combined process of FO and RO could realize the efficient treatment and reuse of latex wastewater,which provided with some important guidance on the industrial application.Shichao Tian Yuming Tu Rujie Li Yufan Du Zhiyong Zhou Fan Zhang Zhongqi Ren 2023Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,57,5:0
18Global exposure:an alternative pathway to understanding cultural omnivorousness in East Asian societies显示文摘Previous studies on cultural taste build a class-omnivorousness framework.However,the conceptualization and measure of cultural omnivorousness are highly Western.To examine how cultural omnivorousness is shaped in non-Western societies,this study develops two dimensions of cultural omnivorousness and expands the meaning of social class from socioeconomic status to global exposure.Using data from the East Asian Social Survey,this study finds that the level of global exposure is significantly correlated with vertical cultural omnivorousness(i.e.,the appreciation of both highbrow and lowbrow music)in China,Japan,and South Korea;however,the correlation between the level of global exposure and horizontal cultural omnivorousness(i.e.,the appreciation of both transnational and traditional music)varies among the three countries.The findings show the diverse nature of cultural consumption in East Asia and challenge the Western discourse in the cultural sphere.Shichao Du 2022The Journal of Chinese Sociology2022,9,1:0
19Single-Atomic Site Catalyst Enhanced Lateral Flow Immunoassay for Point-of-Care Detection of Herbicide显示文摘Point-of-care(POC)detection of herbicides is of great importance due to their impact on the environment and potential risks to human health.Here,we design a single-atomic site catalyst(SASC)with excellent peroxidase-like(POD-like)catalytic activity,which enhances the detection performance of corresponding lateral flow immunoassay(LFIA).The iron single-atomic site catalyst(Fe-SASC)is synthesized from hemin-doped ZIF-8,creating active sites that mimic the Fe active center coordination environment of natural enzyme and their functions.Due to its atomically dispersed iron active sites that result in maximum utilization of active metal atoms,the Fe-SASC exhibits superior POD-like activity,which has great potential to replace its natural counterparts.Also,the catalytic mechanism of Fe-SASC is systematically investigated.Utilizing its outstanding catalytic activity,the Fe-SASC is used as label to construct LFIA(Fe-SASC-LFIA)for herbicide detection.The 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid(2,4-D)is selected as a target here,since it is a commonly used herbicide as well as a biomarker for herbicide exposure evaluation.A linear detection range of 1-250 ng/mL with a low limit of detection(LOD)of 0.82 ng/mL has been achieved.Meanwhile,excellent specificity and selectivity towards 2,4-D have been obtained.The outstanding detection performance of the Fe-SASC-LFIA has also been demonstrated in the detection of human urine samples,indicating the practicability of this POC detection platform for analyzing the 2,4-D exposure level of a person.We believe this proposed Fe-SASC-LFIA has potential as a portable,rapid,and high-sensitive POC detection strategy for pesticide exposure evaluation.Zhaoyuan Lyu Shichao Ding Peter Tieu Lingzhe Fang Xin Li Tao Li Xiaoqing Pan Mark H.Engelhard Xiaofan Ruan Dan Du Suiqiong Li Yuehe Lin 2023Research2023,,1:0
20PLANT DENSITY,IRRIGATION AND NITROGEN MANAGEMENT:THREE MAJOR PRACTICES IN CLOSING YIELD GAPS FOR AGRICULTURAL SUSTAINABILITY IN NORTH-WEST CHINA显示文摘Agriculture faces the dual challenges of food security and environmental sustainability.Here,we investigate current maize production at the field scale,analyze the yield gaps and impacting factors,and recommend measures for sustainably closing yield gaps.An experiment was conducted on a 3.9-ha maize seed production field in arid north-west China,managed with border and drip irrigation,respectively,in 2015 and 2016.The relative yield reached 70%in both years.However,drip irrigation saved 227 mm irrigation water during a drier growing season compared with traditional border irrigation,accounting for 44%of the maize evapotranspiration(ET).Yield variability under drip irrigation was12.1%,lower than the 18.8%under border irrigation.Boundary line analysis indicates that a relative yield increase of 8%to 10%might be obtained by optimizing the yield-limiting factors.Plant density and soil available water content and available nitrogen were the three major factors involved.In conclusion,closing yield gaps with agricultural sustainability may be realized by optimizing agronomic,irrigation and fertilizer management,using water-saving irrigation methods and using site-specific management.Xiuwei GUO Manoj Kumar SHUKLA Di WU Shichao CHEN Donghao LI Taisheng DU 2021Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2021,8,4:0
