It is found that Fe-B-Y-Nb bulk metallic glass with 3 at% of Co addition possesses the best glass forming ability, thermal stability, hardness, magnetic property and anti-corrosion property. The hardness test result indicates a synchronically trend with glass-forming ability parameters. | 5 | Mouse neural stem cells cultured in vitro and expressing an exogenous gene显示文摘Neural stem cells are the multipotential, self-renewing cells in central nerve system, and play an essential role in the development and differentiation of nerve system. Neural stem cells can be used to treat the nerve system diseases, especially, the transplantation of neural stem cells to rescue the degenerated neural cells has become a very promising therapeutic way. We successfully cultured neural stem cells isolated from the brains of embryonic mice in vitro and determined their distribution in the E17 mice brains. The neural stem cells were transfected with adenoviral vector carrying GFP (green fluorescence protein) gene and then highly expressed the exogenous gene. | 6 | Cloning and expression analysis of human reticulon 4c cDNA显示文摘RTNs (reticulons) is a gene family related to the growth and differentiation of neuroendocrine cell. This family is composed of several members such as RTN1, RTN2ar\d RTN3. RTN1 and RTN2 have been proved to have 3 transcripts with different length. Because the RTN1c cDNA was involved in the sologenesis of small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC), it was selected as a bioinformatic probe to clone novel members of RTN family with the electric hybridization assistant new-gene cloning method (EHAC). A 1677-bp cDNA was identified from human brain cDNA library. The cDNA contains an intact open reading frame (ORF) which encodes a protein of 199 amino acids. This deduced protein is highly homologous to RTN1c, RTN2c and RTN3 with identities of 64.4%, 45.8% and 50.0% respectively. This new gene was named RTN4c (GenBank accession number: AF087901). | 8 | Cloning and characterization of a gene encoding phage-related tail protein (PrTP) of endosymbiont Wolbachia显示文摘Wolbachia is an obligatory, maternally inherited intracellular bacterium, known to infect a wide range of arthropods. It has been implicated in causing cytoplasmic incompatibility (CI), parthenogenesis, the feminization of genetic males and male-killing in different hosts. However, the molecular mechanisms by which this fastidious bacterium causes these reproductive abnormalities have not yet been determined. In this study, we report on the cloning and characterization of the gene encoding phage-related tail protein (PrTP) from Wolbachia in Drosophila melanogaster CantonS (wMelCS) and from Wolbachia in Drosophila melanogaster yw67c23 (wMel) by representational difference analysis (RDA) and ligation-mediated PCR (LM-PCR). The functionality of a bipartite nuclear localization signal sequence (NLS) of the gene was also successfully tested in Drosophila S2 cells. | 10 | Parameter Study and Improvement of Gearbox Whine Noise in Electric Vehicle显示文摘Gearbox whine noise can seriously reduce the interior sound quality in an electric passenger car.In this work,a six-degree-offreedom(6-DOF)dynamic model of a helical gear system was constructed and the mechanism for generation of whine noise was analyzed.The root cause of the problem was found through noise,vibration and harshness(NVH)testing of the gearbox and the vehicle.A rigid-elastic coupling dynamics model of the reducer assembly was then developed.The accuracy of the model was then validated via modal testing.The structure-borne noise of the reducer under full acceleration conditions was predicted using the acoustic structure coupling model and the rigid-elastic coupling model of the reducer.Gear parameters including the pressure angle,the helix angle and the contact ratio were studied to determine their effects on the whine noise.Gear tooth microgeometry modification parameters were then optimized to reduce the transmission error of the first pair of meshing gears.Finally,the whine noise from the gearbox was eliminated. | Shouyuan Zhang | 2018 | Automotive Innovation2018,1,3: | 1 |

| 20 | Application of artificial intelligence in clinical diagnosis and treatment:an overview of systematic reviews显示文摘Objective This study aimed to summarize the characteristics and methodological quality of systematic reviews on the application of artificial intelligence(AI)in clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods We systematically searched seven English-and Chinese-language literature databases to identify sys-tematic reviews on the application of AI,deep learning,or machine learning in the diagnosis and treatment of any disease published in 2020.We evaluated the methodological quality of the included systematic reviews using“A Measurement tool for the assessment of multiple systematic reviews”(AMSTAR).We also conducted meta-analyses on the diagnostic accuracy of AI on selected disease categories with a large number of included studies and low clinical heterogeneity.Results A total of 40 systematic reviews reporting 1,083 original studies were included,covering 31 diseases from 11 groups of diseases.Eleven systematic reviews were related to neoplasms and nine were systematic reviews related to diseases of the digestive system.We selected digestive system diseases for the meta-analysis.The pooled sensitivities(with 95%confidence interval(CI))of AI to assist the diagnosis of helicobacter pylori,gastrointestinal ulcers,hemorrhage,esophageal tumors,gastric tumors,and intestinal tumors(with 95%CI)were 0.91(0.83-0.95),0.99(0.76-1.00),0.95(0.83-0.99),0.90(0.85-0.93),0.90(0.82-0.95),and 0.93(0.88-0.96),respectively,and the pooled specificities were 0.82(0.77-0.87),0.97(0.86-1.00),1.00(0.99-1.00),0.80(0.71-0.87),0.93(0.87-0.97),and 0.89(0.85-0.92),respectively.The AMSTAR items“the list of included studies”(n=39,97.5%)and“the characteristics of the included studies”(n=39,97.5%)had the highest compliance among the reviews;the compliance was relatively low to the items“the consideration of publication status”(n=1,2.5%),“the consideration of scientific quality”(n=19,47.5%),“data synthesis methods”(n=18,45.0%),and“the evaluation of publication bias”(n=13,32.5%).Conclusions The main subjects of systematic reviews on AI applications in clinical diagnosis and treatment pub-lished in 2020 were diseases of the digestive system and neoplasms.The methodological quality of the systematic reviews on AI needs to be improved,paying particular attention to publication bias and the rigorous evaluation of the quality of the included studies. | Shouyuan Wu Jianjian Wang Qiangqiang Guo Hui Lan Juanjuan Zhang Ling Wang Estill Janne Xufei Luo Qi Wang Yang Song Joseph LMathew Yangqin Xun Nan Yang Myeong Soo Lee Yaolong Chen | 2022 | Intelligent Medicine2022,2,2: | 1 |
