| 1 | The Interactions among DWARF10,Auxin and Cytokinin Underlie Lateral Bud Outgrowth in Rice显示文摘Previous studies have shown that DWARF10(D10) is a rice ortholog of MAX4/RMS1/DAD1,encoding a carotenoid cleavage dioxygenase and functioning in strigolactones/strigolactone-derivatives(SL) biosynthesis.Here we use D10-RNA interference(RNAi) transgenic plants similar to d10 mutant in phenotypes to investigate the interactions among D10,auxin and cytokinin in regulating rice shoot branching.Auxin levels in node 1 of both decapitated D10-RNAi and wild type plants decreased significantly,showing that decapitation does reduce endogenous auxin concentration,but decapitation has no clear effects on auxin levels in node 2 of the same plants.This implies that node 1 may be the location where a possible interaction between auxin and D10 gene would be detected.D10 expression in node 1 is inhibited by decapitation,and this inhibition can be restored by exogenous auxin application,indicating that D10 may play an important role in auxin regulation of SL.The decreased expression of most OsPINs in shoot nodes of D10-RNAi plants may cause a reduced auxin transport capacity.Furthermore,effects of auxin treatment of decapitated plants on the expression of cytokinin biosynthetic genes suggest that D10 promotes cytokinin biosynthesis by reducing auxin levels.Besides,in D10-RNAi plants,decreased storage cytokinin levels in the shoot node may partly account for the increased active cytokinin contents,resulting in more tillering phenotypes. | Shuying Zhang Gang Li Jun Fang Weiqi Chen Haipai Jiang Junhuang Zou Xue Liu Xianfeng Zhao Xiaobing Li Chengcai Chu Qi Xie Xiangning Jiang Lihuang Zhu | 2010 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2010,52,7: | 14 |
| 2 | The effects of air temperature and precipitation on the net primary productivity in China during the early 21st century显示文摘Research on how terrestrial ecosystems respond to climate change can reveal the complex interactions between vegetation and climate,net primary productivity (NPP),an important vegetation parameter and ecological indicator,fluctuates within any given ecological environment or regional carbon budget.In this study, spatial interpolation was used to generate a spatial dataset, with 1-km spatial resolution,with meteorological data from 736 observation stations across China.An improved CASA model was used to simulate NPP over the period of 2001-2013 by taking into account land-cover change in every year during the same period.We propose the grid- based spatial patterns and dynamics of annual NPP,annual average temperature,and annual total precipitation based on the model.We also used the model to demonstrate the spatial correlation between NPP,temperature,and pre- cipitation in the study area with special focus on the impact of climate change in the early 21st century.Results showed that the spatial pattern of NPP over all of China is characterized by higher values in the southeast and lower values in the northwest.The spatial pattern of temperature indicates substantial latitudinal differences across the country,and the spatial pattem of precipitation shows a ribbon of decline from the southeast coast to the northwest inland.Most areas show an upward trend in NPP. | 3 | Treatment patterns for adjuvant docetaxel-based chemotherapy in early-stage breast cancer in China:A pooled retrospective analysis of four observational studies显示文摘Objective:Adjuvant docetaxel-based chemotherapy is frequently used for operable early breast cancer(EBC).This study investigated patterns of use of docetaxel(T)in real-life clinical practice in China.Methods:This was a retrospective pooled analysis of the Asia-Pacific Breast Initiatives(APBI)Ⅰ(2006–2008)and Ⅱ(2009–2011)registries,and two Chinese observational studies;BC STATE(2011–2014)and BC Local Registry(2007–2010).Female Chinese adults(≥18 years)with operable breast cancer treated with docetaxel-based adjuvant chemotherapy were included in the analysis.Patients with metastatic disease were excluded.The primary endpoint was assessment of treatment patterns and patient profiles.A logistic regression analysis was conducted to identify factors associated with choice of adjuvant chemotherapy regimen.Results:Data from 3,020 patients were included.The most frequently used adjuvant regimen was docetaxel/anthracycline combination[n=1,421(47.1%);of whom 52.0%received T/epirubicin(E)/cyclophosphamide(C)],followed by docetaxel/other[n=705(23.3%);of whom 72.8%received TC],docetaxel/anthracycline sequential[n=447(14.8%);of whom 40.9%and 39.6%received 5-Fu/EC-T and EC-T,respectively],and'other'[n=447(14.8%);of whom 91.5%received T].A significant association was found between adjuvant therapy with docetaxel/anthracycline combination and patient weight,menopausal status and estrogen receptor status.Conclusions:Real-world data revealed that docetaxel/anthracycline combination is the most commonly used category of docetaxel-based adjuvant therapy for patients with operable breast cancer in China;of which TEC is the most frequently used regimen. | Binghe Xu Zhimin Shao Shui Wang Zefei Jiang Xichun Hu Xiaohua Zhang Xiru Li Jinping Liu Mengquan Li Shu Wang | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2018,30,3: | 5 |
| 4 | Effect of interface morphology on the mechanical properties of titanium clad steel plates显示文摘Interface morphology has important influence on the bond quality of titanium clad steel plates.The mechanical properties of titanium clad steel plates with wavy and straight interfaces were investigated by tensile-shear tests and bending tests.The interface morphology of the plates was examined by optical microscopy(OM) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The experimental results show that the shear strength of a wavy interface is higher than that of a straight interface.A wavy interface is the guarantee for obtaining high shear strength to provide a greater shear resistance.During the macrobending process,cracks appear in the swirl of the wave tip and ferrotitanium intermetallics.For in-situ observing the bending process by SEM,the wave tip of a wavy interface and the massive ferrotitanium intermetallics of a straight interface are places where cracks initiate and propagate.The results are the same as those observed in the macrobending process.Because of high hardness,the wave tip and the massive ferrotitanium intermetallics are hard in terms of compatible deformation. | Ji-xiong Liu Ai-min Zhao Hai-tao Jiang Di Tang Xiao-ge Duan Heng-yong Shui | 2012 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2012,19,5: | 5 |

| 6 | Transient liquid phase diffusion bonding of copper alloy to stainless steel using CuMn alloys as interlayer显示文摘With CuMn alloy as interlayer, the transient liquid phase (TLP) diffusion bonding of Cu alloys (CuAlBe) to stainless steel (1Cr18Ni9Ti) was studied. The results show that the bonding pressure, time and temperature and the content of Mn in CuMn alloy have great effects on the strength of bonding interface; when they are 1 MPa, 40 min, 1 223 K and 30% respectively, the maximum joint strength of 487 MPa is attained. | 8 | Volatile profile and multivariant analysis of Sanhuang chicken breast in combination with Chinese 5-spice blend and garam masala显示文摘Sanhuang chicken is a popular native breed in China and well-known for delicious flavour.Spices could enhance the chicken meat flavour and work well in preservation.Chinese 5-spice blend(CS)and garam masala(GM)are routinely using spices in China and Pakistan,respectively.The flavour profiles of Sanhuang chicken breast(CB)and its blends with CS and GM were obtained by electronic nose(E-nose),solid-phase microextraction gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(SPME GC-MS)and GC-ion mobility spectrometry(GC-IMS).Principal component analysis(PCA)efficiently discriminated the aroma profiles of three chicken formulations.The GC-chromatographs revealed the significant aroma alterations of chicken breast meat after marination with spices.Aldehydes were the major contributors of chicken aroma,while most of the aromatic hydrocarbons were generated by spices.Almost all chicken key-compounds produced by oxidation reaction were either reduced or eliminated by marination,showing the antioxidation capacity of spices leading to meat preservation.GC-IMS is not only a rapid and comprehensive detection method,but also proved to be more sensitive than GC-MS.The substantial role of both traditional spices in enhancing flavour quality of chicken meat,and their exposure as functional ingredients in Chinese and Pakistan cuisines could lead to the cross-cultural meat trade opportunities. | Rani Andaleeb Danni Zhang Shui Jiang Yin Zhang Yuan Liu | 2023 | Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,1: | 2 |
