| 2 | Bio-Functional Cu Containing Biomaterials: a New Way to Enhance Bio-Adaption of Biomaterials显示文摘Although being an essential trace element required for human body health, Cu has long been seriously considered toxic when its amount exceeds certain limitation, which significantly limited the wide application of Cu in biomaterials. However, more and more bio-functions and benefits of Cu were found and confirmed, attracting the attention from biomaterials researchers in recent years. People have tried to immobilize Cu into biomaterials by various ways, in order to develop novel bio-functional Cu containing biomaterials with better bio-adaptions, and several different bio-functions of them have been demonstrated. | 3 | A new type quasi-solid state electrolyte for dye-sensitized solar cells显示文摘A new type quasi-solid state electrolyte was prepared by solidifying liquid electrolytes con- taining organic solvents (such as mixture of ethylene carbonate (EC) and propylene carbonate (PC), 3- methoxypropinitrile (NMP) and N-methyl-oxazolidin- one (NMO)) with comb-like molten salt type polymer, and was for the first time employed in dyesensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The optimal electrolyte compo- sition was obtained by regulating the polymer content in the electrolytes and optimizing performance data of the electrolytes and assembled cells, yielding a maximum conversion efficiency of 6.58% (AM 1.5, 100 mW·cm?2). | 4 | SLIDE, the Protein Interacting Domain of Imitation Switch Remodelers, Binds DDT-Domain Proteins of Different Subfamilies in Chromatin Remodeling Complexes显示文摘The Imitation Switch(ISWI)type adenosine triphosphate(ATP)-dependent chromatin remodeling factors are conserved proteins in eukaryotes,and some of them are known to form stable remodeling complexes with members from a family of proteins,termed DDT domain proteins.Although it is well documented that ISWIs play important roles in different biological processes in many eukaryotic species,the molecular basis for protein interactions in ISWI complexes has not been fully addressed.Here,we report the identi cation of interaction domains for both ISWI and DDT domain proteins.By analyzing CHROMATIN REMODELING11(CHR11)and RINGLET1(RLT1),an Arabidopsis thaliana ISWI(AtISWI)and AtDDT domain protein,respectively,we show that the SLIDE domain of CHR11 and the DDT domain together with an adjacent sequence of RLT1 are responsible for their binding.The Arabidopsis genome contains at least 12genes that encode DDT domain proteins,which could be grouped into ve subfamilies based on the sequence similarity.The SLIDE domain of AtISWI is able to bind members from different AtDDT subfamilies.Moreover,a human ISWI protein SNF2H is capable of binding AtDDT domain proteins through its SLIDE domain,suggesting that binding to DDT domain proteins is a conserved biochemical function for the SLIDE domain of ISWIs in eukaryotes. | Jiaqiang Dong Zheng Gao Shujing Liu Guang Li Zhongnan Yang Hai Huang Lin Xu | 2013 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2013,55,10: | 4 |
| 5 | Influence of Sanao Tang on urine volume and expression of aquaporin 2 in rats with respiratory function impairment induced by passive smoking and lipopolysaccharide显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Sanao Tang(SAT) on urine volume and the expression of aquaporin-2(AQP2) in rats with lung dysfunction induced by passive smoking and lipopolysaccharide.METHODS: Totally 45 healthy Specific pathogen Free Wistar Rats were randomized into 3 groups:normal control group, model group and SAT group.A rat model of respiratory dysfunction induced by exposure to cigarette smoking and lipopolysaccharide(LPS). Lavage of decoction of the Chinese medicine was performed for rats in the SAT group. Anires 2005 System was used to analyze the pulmonary function. Urine of rats was collected through metabolism cage method. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was used to determine content of antidiuretic hormone(ADH), angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ), atrial natriuretic factor(ANP), endothelin 1(ET-1), nitric oxide(NO) and prostaglandin E2(PGE2) in serum, lung and kidney. The expression of AQP2 in rat renal tissue was determined with real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(RT-PCR).RESULTS:(a) In comparison with the normal control, It was found that enforced vital capacity(FVC),1-second forced expiratory volume/forced vital capacity%(FEV1/FVC%), 24 h urine volume content of NO and PGE2 were decreased, while AQP2 m RNA level and content of ADH, Agn Ⅱ, ANP and ET-1were increased in the model group with statistical significance(P < 0.05).(b) In comparison with the model group, It was found that FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC%, 24 h urine volume, content of PGE2 and NO decreased, while AQP2 m RNA level, content of ANP,ADH and AngⅡ decreased in the SAT group with statistical significance(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION: SAT might effectively regulate the urine volume in the modeled rats; ADH, Ang Ⅱ,ANP, ET-1, NO and PGE2 might play an important role in the regulation on urine volume by lungs.This might be the mechanisms underpinning the function of lung governing water passage in terms of the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. | Zhang Jinchao Sun Yan Zhang Shujing Gao Yushan Wang Zhenyi Liu Xiaolei Yang Jiamin Li Yuhang | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,6: | 2 |
| 6 | Mechanism of improving skin barrier function in a mouse model of atopic dermatitis using Mahuang Lianqiao Chixiaodou decoction and its disassembled formula显示文摘Objective: To reveal the mechanism of Mahuang Lianqiao Chixiaodou decoction and its disassembled formula for improving the skin barrier function in a mouse model of atopic dermatitis(AD).Methods: Sixty specific-pathogen free male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into the control group,model group, whole formula group(WF), exterior-releasing formula group(ERF), interior-clearing formula group(ICF), and positive control group(PC). A mouse model of AD was established using the semiantigen 2,4-dinitrofluorobenzene induction method. The lesion scores, transepidermal water loss and p H, and skin histopathology of mice in each group were observed. The expressions of filaggrin, loricrin,and involucrin were detected by the streptavidin peroxidase immunohistochemical method and western blotting, and their mRNA expressions were detected by quantitative polymerase chain reaction.Results: Mice in the WF, ERF, ICF, and PC groups showed reduced skin lesion performance, improved histopathology, decreased skin lesion score, transepidermal water loss and pH, and upregulated expressions of proteins including filaggrin, loricrin, and involucrin, and their mRNAs. The most obvious regulatory effect was observed in the WF group, followed by the ICF, ERF, and PC groups, accordingly.Conclusions: Mahuang Lianqiao Chixiaodou decoction and its disassembled formula can improve the skin barrier function in a mouse model of AD by upregulating filaggrin, loricrin, and involucrin, and their mRNA expressions, and the most optimal effect was noted in the WF group, followed by the ICF and ERF groups, which suggests that the effect of clearing heat and resolving dampness in improving the skin barrier function of AD is more obvious and is one of the key treatments for AD. | Jingang Liu Yan Sun Huimin Yuan Yuda Li Jing Feng Yushan Gao Yang Tang Shujing Zhang Hang Wang Fengjie Zheng | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2021,8,4: | 2 |
| 7 | Osteogenesis stimulation by copper-containing 316L stainless steel via activation of akt cell signaling pathway and Runx2 upregulation显示文摘As a metallic orthopedic implant,316L stainless steel(316L SS)is used extensively for its good resistance to corrosion and mechanical properties.However,it takes a long time to achieve osseointegration between 316L SS and adjacent tissues due to its bio-inert characteristic.Hence,the aim is to improve the bio-adaption of 316L SS.A good approach is to add elements to materials to improve their osteogenic capabilities by the appropriate release of ions.Hence copper-containing 316L stainless steel(316L-Cu SS)was investigated in this work,where Cu is an essential trace element that can stimulates osteogenesis.It was found that 316L-Cu SS was bio-safe and did not affect the proliferation of co-cultured osteoblasts in comparison with 316L SS.It increased cell apoptosis on day 1 but inhibited it on day 3,which cooperates with new bone formation processes.Osteoblasts extend themselves more quickly and in a better manner on the surface of 316L-Cu SS,wheneven more pseudopodia are present.Furthermore,the gene expression of alkaline phosphatase,collagen I and runt-related transcription factor 2(Runx2)in osteoblasts cultured with 316L-Cu SS was significantly enhanced.Runx2 protein expression increased,and osteogenesis was stimulated by 316L-Cu SS via an Akt cell signaling pathway.In conclusion,316L-Cu SS stimulates osteogenesis through activation of the Akt cell signaling pathway and the upregulation of Runx2.Thus,316L-Cu SS is a promising material that may be used in surgical implants to stimulate osteogenesis. | Yonghui Yuan Shujing Jin Xun Qi Xudong Chen Wei Zhang Ke Yang Hongshan Zhong | 2019 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,11: | 2 |

| 9 | Shale gas accumulation conditions and gas-bearing characteristics of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation in Well Changye-1 in northwestern Hunan Province显示文摘To evaluate the accumulation conditions and gas-bearing properties of shale gas in the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation,northwestern Hunan Province,the first shale gas parameter well(Well Changye-1)that takes the Niutitang Formation as the target horizon in the Hunan Province was selected preferably and drilled,cumulatively revealing the thickest dark shale horizon of the Niutitang Formation among the single-well drillings in China,with a true vertical thickness of 674.5m.Through analyzing the core samples in terms of organic geochemistry,rock mineralogy and reservoir properties,the black shale horizons in the Niutitang Formation of Well Changye-1 have high organic carbon content(average 3.9%),moderate maturity(equivalent Ro average 2.6%),high brittle mineral content(quartz content average 50.1%),low clay mineral content(average 32.4%),low porosity(1.7%)and low permeability(1.32×10^(-3)mD),and well-developed meso to micro-pores and fractures,indicating good conditions for shale gas accumulation.Field desorption and laboratory isothermal adsorption measurements on core samples show that Well Changye-1 has good gas-bearing properties,and gas content generally increases with depth.The black shale horizons at the depth of 1100-1250m have an average organic carbon content up to 10.1%,total gas content of 0.5-2.1m^(3)/t and 3.7-6.4m^(3)/t,and this is the most favorable depth for shale gas development,indicating that the Niutitang Formation has good a prospect for shale gas exploration.Due to huge sedimentary thickness,the black shale in the middle-lower part of the Niutitang Formation should be given priority for exploration. | Tuo Lin Shujing Bao Jinchuan Zhang Zhi Zhou Kun Yuan Bo Li Shengyu Yang | 2016 | Petroleum Research2016,1,2: | 2 |
