1Calcium-binding ability of soy protein hydrolysates显示文摘This present study investigated the ability of various soy protein hydrolysates(SPHs)in binding calcium.It was demonstrated that the amount of Ca-bound depended greatly on the SPHs obtained using different proteases,which included:neutrase, flavourzyme,protease M and pepsin.The maximum level of Ca-bound(66.9 mg/g)occurred when protease M was used to hydrolyze soy protein.Peptide fragments exhibiting high Ca-binding capacity had molecular weights of either 14.4 or 8-9 kDa.The level of Ca-bound increased linearly with the increment of carboxyl content in SPHs,and further deamidation on SPHs from protease M improved Ca-binding of the hydrolysate.Xiao Lan Bao Mei Song Jing Zhang Yang Chen Shun Tang Guo 2007Chinese Chemical Letters2007,18,9:14
2High energy storage capability of perovskite relaxor ferroelectrics via hierarchical optimization显示文摘Ultrafast charge/discharge process and ultrahigh power density enable dielectrics essential components in modern electrical and electronic devices, especially in pulse power systems. However, in recent years, the energy storage performances of present dielectrics are increasingly unable to satisfy the growing demand for miniaturization and integration, which stimulates further researches on dielectrics with higher energy density and efficiency.Among various inorganic dielectrics, perovskite relaxor ferroelectrics are recognized as promising candidates for energy storage applications, with high permittivity and relatively high efficiency. Here, we focus on recent progress and achievements on optimizing perovskite relaxor ferroelectrics toward better energy storage capability through hierarchical design. The principles and key parameters of dielectric energy storage, together with the definition of majority types of dielectrics, are introduced at first. Strategies within various scales include domain, grain size, orientation, and composite engineering are summarized. 6Systematic classification and phylogenetic relationships of the brown‑rot fungi within the Polyporales显示文摘The brown-rot fungi play an important role in forest ecosystems;they can degrade celluloses and hemicelluloses of wood and maintain nutrient cycling.Some of the brown-rot fungi also have important economic value as medicinal or edible mushrooms.Recent studies showed that the ability to produce brown rot has evolved independently at least five times.Nevertheless,the Polyporales contains the vast majority of the species of the brown-rot fungi.In this study,the classification system of the brown-rot fungi within the Polyporales is revised.Furthermore,the phylogenetic relationships of brown-rot fungi within the Polyporales are analysed based on DNA sequences of multiple loci including the internal transcribed spacer(ITS)regions,the large subunit nuclear ribosomal RNA gene(nLSU),the small subunit nuclear ribosomal RNA gene(nSSU),the small subunit mitochondrial rRNA gene sequences(mtSSU),the translation elongation factor 1-αgene(TEF1),the RNA polymerase II largest subunit(RPB1)and the second subunit of RNA polymerase II(RPB2).The study showed that the brownrot fungi within the Polyporales formed fourteen lineages,which are assigned at family level,including four new families:Auriporiaceae,Piptoporellaceae,Postiaceae,Taiwanofungaceae,and ten existing families:Adustoporiaceae,Dacryobolaceae,Fibroporiaceae,Fomitopsidaceae,Laetiporaceae,Laricifomitaceae,Phaeolaceae,Pycnoporellaceae,Sarcoporiaceae,and Sparassidaceae.Meanwhile,eleven new genera,viz.,Austroporia,Aurantipostia,Austropostia,Daedalella,Nothofagiporus,Pseudoantrodia,Pseudofomitopsis,Rhodoantrodia,Tenuipostia,Wolfiporiella and Wolfiporiopsis are proposed;eighteen new species,viz.,Amyloporia nivea,Antrodia subheteromorpha,Aurantipostia macrospora,Austropostia hirsuta,A.plumbea,A.subpunctata,Cystidiopostia subhibernica,Daedalella micropora,Fuscopostia subfragilis,Lentoporia subcarbonica,Melanoporia tropica,Neolentiporus tropicus,Phaeolus fragilis,Postia crassicontexta,Pseudoantrodia monomitica,Pseudofomitopsis microcarpa,Resinoporia luteola and Rhodonia subrancida are described;and twelve new combinations,viz.,Austroporia stratosa,Austropostia brunnea,A.pelliculosa,A.punctata,Nothofagiporus venatus,Rhodoantrodia tropica,R.yunnanensis,Tenuipostia dissecta,Wolfiporiella cartilaginea,W.curvispora,W.dilatohypha and Wolfiporiopsis castanopsidis,are proposed.Illustrated descriptions of the new species are provided.Notes on the genera of brown-rot fungi within the Polyporales are provided.Shun Liu Yuan‑Yuan Chen Yi‑Fei Sun Xiao‑Lan He Chang‑Ge Song Jing Si Dong‑Mei Liu Genevieve Gates Bao‑Kai Cui 2023Fungal Diversity2023,,1:1

10Exploring the Abnormal Brain Regions and Abnormal Functional Connections in SZ by Multiple Hypothesis Testing Technique显示文摘Schizophrenia(SZ)is one of the most common mental diseases.Its main characteristics are abnormal social behavior and inability to correctly understand real things.In recent years,the magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)technique has been popularly utilized to study SZ.However,it is still a great challenge to reveal the essential information contained in the MRI data.In this paper,we proposed a biomarker selection approach based on the multiple hypothesis testing techniques to explore the difference between SZ and healthy controls by using both functional and structural MRI data,in which biomarkers represent both abnormal brain functional connectivity and abnormal brain regions.By implementing the biomarker selection approach,six abnormal brain regions and twenty-three abnormal functional connectivity in the brains of SZ are explored.It is discovered that compared with healthy controls,the significantly reduced gray matter volumes are mainly distributed in the limbic lobe and the basal ganglia,and the significantly increased gray matter volumes are distributed in the frontal gyrus.Meanwhile,it is revealed that the significantly strengthened connections are those between the middle frontal gyrus and the superior occipital gyrus,the superior occipital gyrus and the middle occipital gyrus as well as the middle occipital gyrus and the fusiform gyrus,and the rest connections are significantly weakened.Lan Yang Shun Qi Chen Qiao Yanmei Kang 2020Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,10:0
11Annealing atmosphere-dependent capacitive energy storage显示文摘Electrostatic capacitors based on dielectrics with high energy density and efficiency are desired for modern electrical systems owing to their intrinsic fast charging-discharging speed and excellent reliability.The longstanding bottleneck is their relatively small energy density.Herein,we report enhanced energy density and efficiency in the Aurivillius Pb_(2)Bi_(4)Ti_(5)O_(18)films by controlling the post-annealing atmosphere.The results demonstrate that the fabrication atmosphere has significant effects on the film texture and defects.As the increase of the oxygen pressure of annealing atmosphere,the Pb_(2)Bi_(4)Ti_(5)O_(18)films show a preferred growth orientation of(00l)and fewer defects,which leads to a higher polarization and breakdown field for the film annealed in air atmosphere and thus help to achieve an ultrahigh energy density of59.4 J·cm^(-3)and an improved efficiency of 81.2%.Moreover,the film also exhibits excellent cycling reliability and good thermal stability.The Pb_(2)Bi_(4)Ti_(5)O_(18)films show a significant potential application for dielectric capacitors.Bing-Bing Yang Hai-Yun Tong Shun Lan Yi-Qian Liu Lv-Ye Dou Hao Pan Yuan-Hua Lin 2023Rare Metals2023,42,5:0
12Nanonet-/fiber-structured flexible ceramic membrane enabling dielectric energy storage显示文摘Ceramics are considered intrinsically brittle at macro scale due to the lack of slip mechanism and pre-existing defects,which greatly limits their potential applications in emerging fields including wearable electronic devices and flexible display.In this contribution,we developed BiFeO_(3)/SiO_(2) dual-networks with exceptional flexibility through a coupled electronetting/electrospun method.The hybrid nanostructured networks endow the material with high tensile strength(2.7 MPa),excellent flexibility(80%recoverable deformation),and robust fatigue resistance performance(maintain flexibility after a 1000-cyclic compress test).After in-situ compounded with dielectric polymer via a layer-by-layer solution casting method,the resultant three-dimensional(3D)composite film exhibits a twice higher dielectric constant(εr)than polyether imide(PEI)film.More importantly,the breakdown strength of the 3D composite film is almost the same as that of the PEI film,resulting in an enhanced energy density of~6.0 J/cm^(3) and a high efficiency of 80%at 4.58 MV/cm.The unique structure,combined with the excellent balance between mechanical and dielectric properties in flexible structures,is of critical significance to the design of flexible functional ceramics and broadening their applications in wearable electric devices.Lvye DOU Bingbing YANG Shun LAN Yiqian LIU Yuan-Hua LIN Ce-Wen NAN 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,1:0
13The Viral Load of Epstein-Barr Virus in Blood of Children after Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation显示文摘Objective To detect the Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)viral load of children after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT)using chip digital PCR(cdPCR).Methods The sensitivity of cdPCR was determined using EBV plasmids and the EBV B95-8 strain.The specificity of EBV cdPCR was evaluated using the EBV B95-8 strain and other herpesviruses(herpes simplex virus 1,herpes simplex virus 2,varicella zoster virus,human cytomegalovirus,human herpesvirus 6,and human herpesvirus 7).From May 2019 to September 2020,64 serum samples of children following HSCT were collected.EBV infection and the viral load of serum samples were detected by cdPCR.The epidemiological characteristics of EBV infections were analyzed in HSCT patients.Results The limit of detection of EBV cdPCR was 110 copies/mL,and the limit of detection of EBV quantitative PCR was 327 copies/mL for the pUC57-BALF5 plasmid.The result of EBV cdPCR was up to 121 copies/mL in the EBV B95-8 strain,and both were more sensitive than that of quantitative PCR.Using cdPCR,the incidence of EBV infection was 18.75%in 64 children after HSCT.The minimum EBV viral load was 140 copies/mL,and the maximum viral load was 3,209 copies/mL using cdPCR.The average hospital stay of children with EBV infection(184±91 days)was longer than that of children without EBV infection(125±79 days),P=0.026.Conclusion EBV cdPCR had good sensitivity and specificity.The incidence of EBV infection was 18.75%in 64 children after HSCT from May 2019 to September 2020.EBV cdPCR could therefore be a novel method to detect EBV viral load in children after HSCT.WANG Wen Jun FENG Shun Qiao HE Feng DU Hai Jun FENG Miao WANG Rui Fang MEI Guo Yong LIU Mi LIU Rong YAO Hai Lan HAN Jun 2022Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2022,35,9:0
