1Prostate cancer tends to metastasize in the bone-mimicking microenvironment via activating NF-κB signaling显示文摘Prostate cancer preferentially metastasizes to the bone. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms are still unclear. To explore the effects of a bone-mimicking microenvironment on PC3 prostate cancer cell growth and metastasis, we used osteoblast differentiation medium(ODM; minimal essential medium alpha supplemented with L-ascorbic acid) to mimic the bone microenvironment. PC3 cells grown in ODM underwent epithelial-mesenchymal transition and showed enhanced colony formation, migration, and invasion abilities compared to the cells grown in normal medium. PC3 cells grown in ODM showed enhanced metastasis when injected in mice. A screening of signaling pathways related to invasion and metastasis revealed that the NF-κB pathway was activated, which could be reversed by Bay 11-7082, a NF-κB pathway inhibitor. 3Estimating the Parental Magma Composition and Temperature of the Xiaohaizi Cumulate-Bearing Ultramafic Rock: Implication for Magma Evolution of the Tarim Large Igneous Province, Northwestern China显示文摘The ultramafic dikes in the Tarim large igneous province(Tarim LIP), exposed in the Xiaohaizi area in the northwestern Tarim Basin of northwestern China, have porphyritic textures, and the olivine and clinopyroxene are as the major phenocryst phases. The groundmass therein consists of clinopyroxene, plagioclase and Fe-Ti oxides, with the cryptocrystalline texture. The olivine phenocrysts in one typical ultramafic dike have Fo(Mg/(Mg+Fe)) numbers ranging from 73 to 85, which are not in equilibrium with the olivine(Mg# of 89) from the host rock crystalized. Combined with microscope observation, both the olivine and clinopyroxene phenocrysts as well as some Fe-Ti oxides in the ultramafic rock are accounted as cumulates. The liquid(parental magma) composition of SiO_2 of 45.00 wt.%–48.82 wt.%, MgO of 9.93 wt.%– 18.56 wt.%, FeO of 5.85 wt.%–14.17 wt.%, CaO of 7.54 wt.%–11.52 wt.%, Al_2O_3 of 8.70 wt.%–11.62 wt.% and TiO_2 of 0.00 wt.%–3.43 wt.% in the Xiaohaizi ultramafic rock was estimated by mass balance, and the results show a reasonable liquid proportion in the cumulate-bearing ultramafic dike(ca. 45%–60% in the whole rock). The estimated parental magma composition corresponds to a melting temperature of 1 300–1 550 oC, which is equal or higher than those of a normal asthenosphere mantle, supporting the involvement of a mantle plume. 6Adaptive two-filter smoothing based on second-order divided difference filter for distributed position and orientation system显示文摘The distributed position and orientation system(POS) uses transfer alignment to accurately measure multi-node time-spatial reference information, which is necessary for compensating the motion error of imaging sensors used in aerial surveys. Lever-arm deformation in transfer alignment will result in time-varying covariance of measurement noise, which decreases the estimation accuracy. To address this problem, a second-order adaptive divided difference two-filter smoother(ADDTFS) is proposed for transfer alignment. The second-order adaptive divided difference filter(ADDF2) severs as the forward filter to address nonlinearity in the system. The ADDF2 can estimate the measurement noise covariance in real time based on adaptive estimation using innovation information. The weighted statistical linear regression formulation is used in the backward filter to independently estimate the states and error covariance matrices.Then the forward and backward results are combined, to obtain high-precision estimation results in postprocessing. 8Rationally designed Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene/CaIn_(2)S_(4) Schottky heterojunction for enhanced photocatalytic Cr(VI) reduction:Performance,influence factors and mechanism显示文摘As a highly toxic heavy metal,Cr(VI)reduction by developing high-efficiency photocatalysts is of great significance.Herein,we firstly design few-layer Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene(FTM)by the hand-operated shaking,show-ing dual advantages of structural stability and more exposed reactive sites.Then,a refluxed process is performed to fabricate FTM/CaIn_(2)S_(4)(FTC) composites,where 2D CaIn_(2)S_(4)(CIS) nanoplates are closely con-nected with 2D FTM to form Schottky junction.The optimal 1-FTC with the FTM/CIS mass ratio of 1 wt.%exhibits the highest activity toward photocatalytic Cr(VI)reduction under visible light.It is well eluci-dated that the broadened light absorption range and promoted charge carrier separation rate induced by the introduction of FTM are responsible for improving photocatalytic activity of CIS.During Cr(VI)photoreduction,1-FTC possesses excellent photo-stability and reusability.The effects of catalyst mass,co-existing ions,water sources and pH values on the Cr(VI)photoreduction efficiency are investigated.Pho-togenerated•O_(2)^(−)and e−are the main radical species accounting for Cr(VI)photoreduction over 1-FTC.The photocatalytic mechanism along with Cr(VI)removal pathway is exploited.This work may provide some insights into constructing FTM-based Schottky junctions for the efficient water purification.Chao Liu Wen Xiao Xingyu Liu Qiang Wang Jiawei Hu Siyuan Zhang Jianguang Xu Qinfang Zhang Zhigang Zou 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,30:0
