| 2 | Conditioned medium-electrospun fiber biomaterials for skin regeneration显示文摘Conditioned medium(CM)contains variety of factors secreted by cells,which directly regulate cellular processes,showing tremendous potential in regenerative medicine.Here,for the first time,we proposed a novel regenerative therapy mediated by biodegradable micro-nano electrospun fibers loaded with highly active conditioned medium of adipose-derived stem cells(ADSC-CM).ADSC-CM was successfully loaded into the nanofibers with biological protection and controllable sustained-release properties by emulsion electrospinning and protein freeze-drying technologies.In vitro,ADSC-CM released by the fibers accelerated the migration rate of fibroblasts;inhibited the over proliferation of fibroblasts by inducing apoptosis and damaging cell membrane;in addition,ADSC-CM inhibited the transformation of fibroblasts into myofibroblasts and suppressed excessive production of extracellular matrix(ECM).In vivo,the application of CM-biomaterials significantly accelerated wound closure and improved regeneration outcome,showing superior pro-regenerative performance.This study pioneered the application of CM-biomaterials in regenerative medicine,and confirmed the practicability and significant biological effects of this innovative biomaterials. | Lu Chen Liying Cheng Zhen Wang Jianming Zhang Xiyuan Mao Zhimo Liu Yuguang Zhang Wenguo Cui Xiaoming Sun | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,2: | 2 |
| 3 | Engineering of dendritic dopant-free hole transport molecules:enabling ultrahigh fill factor in perovskite solar cells with optimized dendron construction显示文摘Developing dopant-free hole-transporting materials(HTMs)for high-performance perovskite solar cells(PVSCs)has been a very active research topic in recent years since HTMs play a critical role in optimizing interfacial charge carrier kinetics and in turn determining device performance.Here,a novel dendritic engineering strategy is first utilized to design HTMs with a D-A type molecular framework,and diphenylamine and/or carbazole is selected as the building block for constructing dendrons.All HTMs show good thermal stability and excellent film morphology,and the key optoelectronic properties could be fine-tuned by varying the dendron structure.Among them,MPA-Cz-BTI and MCz-Cz-BTI exhibit an improved interfacial contact with the perovskite active layer,and non-radiative recombination loss and charge transport loss can be effectively suppressed.Consequently,high power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)of 20.8%and 21.35%are achieved for MPA-Cz-BTI and MCz-Cz-BTI based devices,respectively,accompanied by excellent long-term storage stability.More encouragingly,ultrahigh fill factors of 85.2%and 83.5%are recorded for both devices,which are among the highest values reported to date.This work demonstrates the great potential of dendritic materials as a new type of dopant-free HTMs for high-performance PVSCs with excellent FF. | Wei Chen Yang Wang Bin Liu Yajun Gao Ziang Wu Yongqiang Shi Yumin Tang Kun Yang Yujie Zhang Weipeng Sun Xiyuan Feng Frédéric Laquai Han Young Woo Aleksandra B.Djurisic Xugang Guo Zhubing He | 2021 | Science China Chemistry2021,64,1: | 2 |

| 9 | Progress of laser and light treatments for lower eyelid rejuvenation显示文摘Laser and light treatments have recently become popular owing to its efficacy in treating laxity,rhytids,hyperpigmentation of the lower eyelids,and drooping of septum fat.For several decades,our department has explored the application of laser and light treatment for eye rejuvenation.This paper summarizes common treatment methods and analyzes the published literature on the indications and outcomes of multiple laser and light treatments for lower eyelid rejuvenation.An extensive survey of peer-reviewed literature was performed using PubMed,with the search terms“noninvasive treatment”,“infraorbital”,“palpebral bags”,“lower eyelid”,“radiofrequency(RF)”,“laser”,“nonsurgical skin tightening”,and“noninvasive fat reduction”.The results showed that the use of lasers,intense pulsed light(IPL),monopolar RF,bipolar RF,AdipoLASER rejuvenation(ALJ),and fractional RF microneedling are safe and effective treatments for palpebral bags.We conclude that using Qswitched lasers,IPL,RF,ALJ,and fractional RF microneedling is safe and effective for lower eyelid rejuvenation,with minimal complications and quick recovery.Further research and development of optoelectronic therapy may encourage breakthroughs in lower eyelid treatment,such as simplified complex surgery and noninvasive methods. | Liying Cheng Lu Zhang Xiaoming Sun Xiyuan Mao Liucheng Zhang Yuguang Zhang Ying Zhang | 2021 | Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2021,3,4: | 1 |
| 10 | Multi-mode microcavity frequency engineering through a shifted grating in a photonic crystal ring显示文摘Frequency engineering of whispering-gallery resonances is essential in microcavity nonlinear optics.The key is to control the frequencies of the cavity modes involved in the underlying nonlinear optical process to satisfy its energy conservation criterion.Compared to the conventional method that tailors dispersion by cross-sectional geometry,thereby impacting all cavity mode frequencies,grating-assisted microring cavities,often termed as photonic crystal microrings,provide more enabling capabilities through mode-selective frequency control.For example,a simple single period grating added to a microring has been used for single frequency engineering in Kerr optical parametric oscillation(OPO)and frequency combs.Recently,this approach has been extended to multifrequency engineering by using multi-period grating functions,but at the cost of increasingly complex grating profiles that require challenging fabrication.Here,we demonstrate a simple approach,which we term as shifted grating multiple mode splitting(SGMMS),where spatial displacement of a single period grating imprinted on the inner boundary of the microring creates a rotational asymmetry that frequency splits multiple adjacent cavity modes.This approach is easy to implement and presents no additional fabrication challenges compared to an unshifted grating,and yet is very powerful in providing multi-frequency engineering functionality for nonlinear optics.We showcase an example where SGMMS enables OPO across a wide range of pump wavelengths in a normal-dispersion device that otherwise would not support OPO. | XIYUAN LU YI SUN ASHISH CHANANA USMAN AJAVID MARCELO DAVANCO KARTIK SRINIVASAN | 2023 | Photonics Research2023,11,11: | 0 |

| 13 | Regulated extravascular microenvironment via reversible thermosensitive hydrogel for inhibiting calcium influx and vasospasm显示文摘Arterial vasospasm after microsurgery can cause severe obstruction of blood flow manifested as low tissue temperature,leading to tissue necrosis.The timely discovery and synchronized treatment become pivotal.In this study,a reversible,intelligent,responsive thermosensitive hydrogel system is constructed employing both the gel–sol transition and the sol–gel transition.The“reversible thermosensitive(RTS)”hydrogel loaded with verapamil hydrochloride is designed to dynamically and continuously regulate the extravascular microenvi-ronment by inhibiting extracellular calcium influx.After accurate implantation and following in situ gelation,the RTS hydrogel reverses to the sol state causing massive drug release to inhibit vasospasm when the tissue tem-perature drops to the predetermined transition temperature.Subsequent restoration of the blood supply allevi-ates further tissue injury.Before the temperature drops,the RTS hydrogel maintains the gel state as a sustained-release reservoir to prevent vasospasm.The inhibition of calcium influx and vasospasm in vitro and in vivo is demonstrated using vascular smooth muscle cells,mice mesenteric arterial rings,and vascular ultrasonic Doppler detection.Subsequent animal experiments demonstrate that RTS hydrogel can promote tissue survival and alleviate tissue injury responding to temperature change.Therefore,this RTS hydrogel holds therapeutic po-tential for diseases requiring timely detection of temperature change. | Binfan Zhao Yaping Zhuang Zhimo Liu Jiayi Mao Shutong Qian Qiuyu Zhao Bolun Lu Xiyuan Mao Liucheng Zhang Yuguang Zhang Wenguo Cui Xiaoming Sun | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,3: | 0 |
| 14 | Fine-tuning Bacterial Cyclic di-AMP Production for Durable Antitumor Effects Through the Activation of the STING Pathway显示文摘The stimulator of interferon genes(STING)protein is an important and promising innate immune target for tumor therapy.However,the instability of the agonists of STING and their tendency to cause systemic immune activation is a hurdle.The STING activator,cyclic di-adenosine monophosphate(CDA),produced by the modified Escherichia coli Nissle 1917,shows high antitumor activity and effectively reduces the systemic effects of the“off-target”caused by the activation of the STING pathway.In this study,we used synthetic biological approaches to optimize the translation levels of the diadenylate cyclase that catalyzes CDA synthesis in vitro.We developed 2 engineered strains,CIBT4523 and CIBT4712,for producing high levels of CDA while keeping their concentrations within a range that did not compromise the growth.Although CIBT4712 exhibited stronger induction of the STING pathway corresponding to in vitro CDA levels,it had lower antitumor activity than CIBT4523 in an allograft tumor model,which might be related to the stability of the surviving bacteria in the tumor tissue.CIBT4523 exhibited complete tumor regression,prolonged survival of mice,and rejection of rechallenged tumors,thus,offering new possibilities for more effective tumor therapy.We showed that the appropriate production of CDA in engineered bacterial strains is essential for balancing antitumor efficacy and self-toxicity. | Yu Jiang Xiyuan Li Fenghui Qian Bingbing Sun Xiyuan Wang Yan Zhang Deqiang Zhang Meiyu Geng Zuoquan Xie Sheng Yang | 2023 | Research2023,,4: | 0 |

| 16 | Isolation and polymorphic frequency detection of a novel STR on human chromosome 14q24.3显示文摘A single copy fragment (FD14_ca 1) containing 22 CA repetitive units was isolated with (CA) 15 oligonucleotide probe from a human chromosome 14q24 3 probe pool generated by microdissection, and proved to be a new short tandem repeat (STR) sequence through querying in GenBank of NCBI. The STR has 11 alleles in Chinese, and its polymorphic information content (PIC) is 0 85. Mendelian segregation was shown in 2 Chinese pedigrees with two generations. This STR has been accurately relocalized on chromosome 14q24 3 by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). The accession numbers of this STR in GDB and GenBank database are D14S1435 and G31413 respectively. | 19 | Isolation and identification of a novel STR(D17S2204)in the vicinity of NF1 locus显示文摘Using a synthetic oligonucleotide (dA-dC)15 as a probe to screen a probe pool made by microdissected human chromosome band 17q11-q12, a DNA fragment containing (CA)16 was isolated, which is a novel short tandem repeat (STR) determined by searching in the GenBank and GDB. It has 8 allelic types with a PIC value of 0.61. The novel STR is conformed with Mendelian segregation according to the linkage analysis of a three-generation neurofibromatosis type Ⅰ (NF1) pedigree. The STR was localized at chromosome band 17q11-q12 in the vicinity of NF1 gene by FISH analysis.
