1Overexpression of OsPAP10a, A Root-Associated Acid Phosphatase, Increased Extracellular Organic Phosphorus Utilization in Rice显示文摘Phosphorus (P) deficiency is a major limitation for plant growth and development. Among the wide set of responses to cope with low soil P, plants increase their level of intracellular and secreted acid phosphatases (APases), which helps to catalyze inorganic phosphate (Pi) hydrolysis from organophosphates. In this study we characterized the rice (Oryza sativa) purple acid phosphatase 10a (OsPAP10a). OsPAP10a belongs to group Ia of purple acid phosphatases (PAPs), and clusters with the principal secreted PAPs in a variety of plant species including Arabidopsis. The transcript abundance of OsPAP10a is specifically induced by Pi deficiency and is controlled by OsPHR2, the central transcription factor controlling Pi homeostasis. In gel activity assays of root and shoot protein extracts, it was revealed that OsPAP10a is a major acid phosphatase isoform induced by Pi starvation. Constitutive overexpression of OsPAP10a results in a significant increase of phosphatase activity in both shoot and root protein extracts. In vivo root 5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-phosphate (BCIP) assays and activity measurements on external media showed that OsPAP10a is a root-associated APase. Furthermore, overexpression of OsPAP10a significantly improved ATP hydrolysis and utilization compared with wild type plants. 2Spatio-temporal Difference and Influencing Factors of Environmental Adaptability Measurement of Human-sea Economic System in Liaoning Coastal Area显示文摘Adaptability theory is an important tool to analyze the degree, mechanism and process of interaction between human and environment, which provides a new perspective for the research of sustainability assessment. Based on the entropy weight-TOPSIS method and the panel Tobit model from the perspective of adaptability, spatio-temporal difference and influencing factors of environmental adaptability assessment of human-sea economic system in Liaoning coastal area was measured by using the city panel data from 2000 to 2014. The results indicate that: 1) The environmental adaptability of human-sea economic system in Liaoning coastal area rose slowly from 2000 to 2014, the developing trend of each city was linearly related, and Dalian was in a leading position. 2) The different adaptability elements and adaptability subsystem show polarization phenomenon and completely different regional evolution characteristics. The adaptability of human-sea environment system and human-sea economic system rose slowly and had the characteristics of linear relationship, and the adaptability of human-sea environment system is the main reason for the difference of environmental adaptability of human-sea economic system. 3) Science and technology, environmental management, marine economic development level, port construction are the driving factors of the healthy development of environmental adaptability of urban human-sea economic system.LI Bo SHI Zhaoyuan TIAN Chuang 2018Chinese Geographical Science2018,28,2:6
3Development of Trusted Network and Challenges It Faces显示文摘As the information network plays a more and more important role globally, the traditional network theories and technologies, especially those related to network security, can no longer meet the network development requirements. Offering the system with secure and trusted services has become a new focus in network research. This paper first discusses the meaning of and aspects involved in the trusted network. According to this paper, the trusted network should be a network where the network's and users' behaviors and their results are always predicted and manageable. The trustworthiness of a network mainly involves three aspects: service provider, information transmission and terminal user. 4Effects of Sm-doping on microstructure,magnetic and microwave absorption properties of BiFeO_(3)显示文摘In this paper,polycrystalline samples of Bi_(1-x)Sm_(x)FeO_(3)(x=0,0.05,0.1,0.15) were successfully synthesized by sol-gel method.The effects of Sm concentration on the crystal structure,morphology,chemical states,magnetic properties and microwave absorption performance were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM) and a Vector network analyzer(VNA),respectively.The results show that the rare earth Sm doping causes the crystal structure to change.When x≤0.1,Bi_(1-x)Sm_(x)FeO_(3) is the distorted rhombohedral structure with space group R3c.With the increase of Sm doping amount to x=0.15,the phase structure of Bi_(1-x)Sm_(x)FeO_(3) changes from rhombohedral structure to cubic structure with the space group Pm3 m.The particle size decreases with the increase of the Sm doping amount.The analysis results show that Sm doping can effectively reduce the oxygen vacancies and significantly improve its magnetic properties.The results exhibit that moderately doped rare earth Sm element can effectively improve microwave absorption properties of Bi_(1-x)Sm_(x)FeO_(3) powders.When Sm doping amount of x is 0.1,the Bi_(0.9)Sm_(0.1)FeO_(3) compound has good microwave absorption performance,and the minimum reflection loss value of Bi_(0.9)Sm_(0.1)FeO_(3) powder reaches about-32.9 dB at11.7 GHz,and its effective absorption bandwidth(RL <-10 dB) is 2.6 GHz with the optimal matching thickness of 2.0 mm.Chuang Tian Qingrong Yao Zhaofei Tong Huaiying Zhou Guanghui Rao Jianqiu Deng Zhongmin Wang Jiang Wang 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,7:3
5Performance Evaluation and Dynamic Optimization of Speed Scaling on Web Servers in Cloud Computing显示文摘The energy consumption in large-scale data centers is attracting more and more attention today with the increasing data center energy costs making the enhanced performance very expensive. This is becoming a bottleneck to further developments in terms of both scale and performance of cloud computing. Thus, the reduction of the energy consumption by data centers is becoming a key research topic in green IT and green computing. The web servers providing cloud service computing run at various speeds for different scenarios. By shifting among these states using speed scaling, the energy consumption is proportional to the workload, which is termed energy-proportionality. This study uses stochastic service decision nets to investigate energy-efficient speed scaling on web servers. This model combines stochastic Petri nets with Markov decision process models. This enables the model to dynamically optimize the speed scaling strategy and make performance evaluations. The model is graphical and intuitive enough to characterize complicated system behavior and decisions. The model is service-oriented using the typical service patterns to reduce the complex model to a simple model with a smaller state space. Performance and reward equivalent analyse substantially reduces the system behavior sub-net. 10Left atrial appendage occlusion in a mirror-image dextrocardia:A case report and review of literature显示文摘BACKGROUND In mirror-image dextrocardia,the anterior-posterior position of the cardiac chambers and great vessels is maintained,but the left-right orientation of the abdominal organs is reversed.The abnormal anatomy of the heart poses surgical challenges and problems in dealing with surgical risk and monitoring complications.There are few reports on closure of the left atrial appendage(LAA)in dextrocardia and no reports on the application of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)following LAA occlusion(LAAO)procedures.CASE SUMMARY The objective for this case was to ensure perioperative safety and accelerate postoperative recovery from LAAO in a patient with mirror-image dextrocardia.ERAS was guided by the theory and practice of nursing care.Atrial fibrillation was diagnosed in a 77-year-old male patient,in whom LAAO was performed.The 2019 guidelines for perioperative care after cardiac surgery recommend that the clinical nursing procedures for patients with LAAO should be optimized to reduce the incidence of perioperative complications and ensure patient safety.Music therapy can be used throughout perioperative treatment and nursing to improve the anxiety symptoms of patients.CONCLUSION The procedure was uneventful and proceeded without complications.Anxiety symptoms were improved.Bei Tian Chuang Ma Jin-Wen Su Jun Luo Hong-Xia Sun Jie Su Zhong-Ping Ning 2022World Journal of Clinical Cases2022,10,4:1
11Restoration of HBV-specific CD8+T-cell responses by sequential low-dose IL-2 treatment in non-responder patients after IFN-αtherapy显示文摘Patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB)undergoing interferon(IFN)-α-based therapies often exhibit a poor HBeAg serological response.Thus,there is an unmet need for new therapies aimed at CHB.This study comprised two clinical trials,including 130 CHB patients,who were treatment-naïve;in the first,92 patients were systematically analyzed ex vivo for interleukin-2 receptor(IL-2R)expression and inhibitory molecules expression after receiving Peg-IFN-α-2b therapy.In our second clinical trial,38 non-responder patients,in whom IFN-αtherapy had failed,were treated with or without low-dose IL-2 for 24 weeks.We then examined the hepatitis B virus(HBV)-specific CD8+T-cell response and the clinical outcome,in these patients.Although the majority of the participants undergoing Peg-IFN-α-2b therapy were non-responders,we observed a decrease in CD25 expression on their CD4+T cells,suggesting that IFN-αtherapy may provide a rationale for sequential IL-2 treatment without increasing regulatory T cells(Tregs).Following sequential therapy with IL-2,we demonstrated that the non-responders experienced a decrease in the numbers of Tregs and programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1)expression.In addition,sequential IL-2 administration rescued effective immune function,involving signal transducer and activator of transcription 1(STAT1)activation.Importantly,IL-2 therapy significantly increased the frequency and function of HBV-specific CD8+T cells,which translated into improved clinical outcomes,including HBeAg seroconversion,among the non-responder CHB patients.Our findings suggest that sequential IL-2 therapy shows efficacy in rescuing immune function in non-responder patients with refractory CHB.Dongyao Wang Binqing Fu Xiaokun Shen Chuang Guo Yanyan Liu Junfei Zhang Rui Sun Ying Ye Jiabin Li Zhigang Tian Haiming Wei 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12:1
12Corrosion protection of magnesium alloys anode by cerium-based anodization coating in magnesium-ait battery显示文摘CeN_(3)O_(9)·6H_(2)O(0.5,1.0,1.5,and 2.0 g/L)was added into an 8.0%NaCl electrolyte solution to investigate this electrolyte for use in a Mg-air battery.The effects of the amount of CeN_(3)O_(9)-6H_(2)O on the corrosion resistance of an AZ31 Mg alloy anode and battery performance were investigated using microstructure,electrochemical(dynamic potential polarization method and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy),and battery measurements.The re sults show that the addition of CeN_(3)O_(9)·6H_(2)O to the electrolyte leads to the formation of a Ce(OH)_(3)protective film on the surface of the AZ31 Mg alloy that improves the corrosion resistance of the Mg alloy.An increase in the concentration of CeN_(3)O_(9)·6H_(2)O results in a denser Ce(OH)_(3)protective film and decreases corrosion rate of the AZ31 Mg alloy.When the concentration of CeN_(3)O_(9)·6H_(2)O is 1.0 g/L,the corrosion rate of the Mg alloy is the lowest with a corrosion inhibition rate of70.4%.However,the corrosion rate increases due to the dissolution of the Ce(OH)_(3)protective film when the concentration of CeN_(3)O_(9)-6H_(2)O is greater than 1.0 g/L.Immersing the Mg alloy in the electrolyte solution containing CeN_(3)O_(9)-6H_(2)O for 50 h leads to the formation of the Ce(HO)_(3)protective film on its surface,which was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy of the AZ31 alloy.The Mg^(2+)charge transfer resistance increases by 69.5Ωfrom the equivalent circuit diagram,which improves the corrosion resistance of the Mg alloy.The discharge performance of CeN_(3)O_(9)·6H_(2)O improves according to a discharge test,and the discharge time increases by 40 min.Xiang You Xiaowei Zhang Chuang Yu Yuanliang Chen Huiming Li Yanqing Hou Lin Tian Ni Yang Gang Xie 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,3:1

14Cyclohexanedodecol-Assisted Interfacial Engineering for Robust and High-Performance Zinc Metal Anode显示文摘Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)can be one of the most promising electrochemical energy storage devices for being non-flammable,low-cost,and sustainable.However,the challenges of AZIBs,including dendrite growth,hydrogen evolution,corrosion,and passivation of zinc anode during charging and discharging processes,must be overcome to achieve high cycling performance and stability in practical applications.In this work,we utilize a dual-func-tional organic additive cyclohexanedodecol(CHD)to firstly establish[Zn(H2O)5(CHD)]2+complex ion in an aqueous Zn electrolyte and secondly build a robust protection layer on the Zn surface to overcome these dilemmas.Systematic experiments and theoretical calculations are carried out to interpret the working mechanism of CHD.At a very low concentration of 0.1 mg mL^(−1) CHD,long-term reversible Zn plating/stripping could be achieved up to 2200 h at 2 mA cm^(−2),1000 h at 5 mA cm^(−2),and 650 h at 10 mA cm^(−2) at the fixed capacity of 1 mAh cm^(−2).When matched with V_(2)O_(5) cathode,the resultant AZIBs full cell with the CHD-modified electrolyte presents a high capacity of 175 mAh g^(−1) with the capacity retention of 92%after 2000 cycles under 2 A g^(−1).Such a performance could enable the commercialization of AZIBs for applications in grid energy storage and industrial energy storage.Zhenzhen Wu Meng Li Yuhui Tian Hao Chen Shao-Jian Zhang Chuang Sun Chengpeng Li Milton Kiefel Chao Lai Zhan Lin Shanqing Zhang 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,7:1
15Source-Free Unsupervised Domain Adaptation with Sample Transport Learning显示文摘Unsupervised domain adaptation(UDA)has achieved great success in handling cross-domain machine learning applications.It typically benefits the model training of unlabeled target domain by leveraging knowledge from labeled source domain.For this purpose,the minimization of the marginal distribution divergence and conditional distribution divergence between the source and the target domain is widely adopted in existing work.Nevertheless,for the sake of privacy preservation,the source domain is usually not provided with training data but trained predictor(e.g.,classifier).This incurs the above studies infeasible because the marginal and conditional distributions of the source domain are incalculable.To this end,this article proposes a source-free UDA which jointly models domain adaptation and sample transport learning,namely Sample Transport Domain Adaptation(STDA).Specifically,STDA constructs the pseudo source domain according to the aggregated decision boundaries of multiple source classifiers made on the target domain.Then,it refines the pseudo source domain by augmenting it through transporting those target samples with high confidence,and consequently generates labels for the target domain.We train the STDA model by performing domain adaptation with sample transport between the above steps in alternating manner,and eventually achieve knowledge adaptation to the target domain and attain confident labels for it.Finally,evaluation results have validated effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.Qing Tian Chuang Ma Feng-Yuan Zhang Shun Peng Hui Xue 2021Journal of Computer Science & Technology2021,36,3:0

18Value of Coronary Sinus During Computed Tomography Pulmonary Angiography for Predicting Pulmonary Hypertension in Patients with Acute Pulmonary Embolism显示文摘Objective:Computed tomography pulmonary angiography(CTPA)parameters are valuable for predicting pulmonary hypertension(PH)in patients with pulmonary embolism(PE).However,few studies have used the coronary sinus ostium area(CSOA),derived from CTPA,to detect PH.This study aimed to compare the prognostic values of the CSOA,coronary sinus ostium diameter(CSOD),and right ventricular(RV)/left ventricular(LV)ratio for PH.Methods:This study retrospectively analyzed 78 patients(mean age,(51.94±12.33)years;53.8%male)with acute PE confirmed by CTPA at the Sixth and Eighth Medical Centers of the People’s Liberation Army General Hospital between June 2018 and June 2020.Patients were categorized into 2 groups using a pulmonary artery systolic pressure(PASP)cut-off of 30 mmHg.CTPA parameters were compared between these groups.Results:Patients with PASP>30 mmHg(n=22)had a larger CSOA,CSOD,RV diameter,RV/LV ratio,and inferior vena cava diameter compared with patients with PASP≤30 mmHg(n=56).The CSOA had an area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve(AUC,0.84;95%confidence interval(CI),0.74–0.94;P<0.001)similar to that of the RV/LV ratio(AUC,0.85;95%CI,0.73–0.99;P<0.001),while that of the CSOD was smaller(AUC,0.66;95%CI,0.51–0.81;P<0.05).Conclusion:Both CSOA and CSOD demonstrated a good ability to predict PH,while CSOA better predicted PASP>30 mmHg.Chuang Zhang Qian Xin Hongling Xu Xiangyu Wang Zhiqiang Yan Shengtao Sun Xiangmin Shi Mei Tian 2023Cardiology Discovery2023,3,2:0
19Near-infrared dye-loaded magnetic nanoparticles as photoacoustic contrast agent for enhanced tumor imaging显示文摘Objective: Photoacoustic(PA) tomography(PAT) has attracted extensive interest because of its optical absorption contrast and ultrasonic detection. This study aims to develop a biocompatible and biodegradable PA contrast agent particularly promising for clinical applications in human body.Methods: In this study, we presented a PA contrast agent: 1, 2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)](DSPE-PEG)-coated superparamagnetic iron oxide(SPIO) nanoparticles(NPs) loaded with indocyanine green(ICG). We used ICG and SPIO NPs because both drugs are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Given the strong absorption of near-infrared laser pulses, SPIO@DSPE-PEG/ICG NPs with a uniform diameter of ~28 nm could significantly enhance PA signals.Results: We demonstrated the contrast enhancement of these NPs in phantom and animal experiments, in which the in vivo circulation time of SPIO@DSPE-PEG/ICG NPs was considerably longer than that of free ICG. 20Complex regulatory network of Betula BplSPL8 in planta显示文摘SQUAMOSA-promoter binding protein-like(SPL) proteins are plant-specific transcription factors and participate in different pathways,including the vegetative to reproductive transition,male sterility,biosynthesis of gibberellic acid(GA),plant morphogenesis and response to environmental stress.In this study,we generated transgenic Arabidopsis that overexpressed Betula Bpl SPL8 and confirmed that Bpl SPL8 is a transcription factor with transcriptional activation activity and is located in the nucleus.Functional analysis of Bpl SPL8 showed that it is involved in regulating different development processes:(1) Bpl SPL8 can delay flowering by reducing sensitivity to GA under short days;(2) Bpl SPL8 controls the number and morphogenesis of leaves,including up-rolling leaves under long days and folded leaves mediated by GA under short days;(3) Bpl SPL8 can promote root elongation during late development of roots and inhibit lateral root formation;(4)Bpl SPL8 may be involved in regulating carotenoid biosynthesis and secretion metabolism.These results show that there is a complex regulatory network for the SPL family genes that is mediated by other components and may provide a new insights for the functional research of SPL genes.Chuang Liu Minxiao Guan Xiaoqing Hu Jing Tian Xuemei Liu 2017Journal of Forestry Research2017,28,5:0
