1X-ray scintillation in lead-free double perovskite crystals显示文摘Metal halide perovskites have shown great performance for various applications,including solar cells,light emitting diodes,and radiation detectors,but they still suffer from the toxicity of lead and instability.Here we report the use of lanthanide series as trivalent metals to obtain low toxicity and highly stable double perovskites(Cs_2NaLnCl_6,Ln=Tb or Eu)with high scintillation light yield.The crystals exhibit typical f-f transitions of lanthanide cations,while Cs_2NaTbCl_6exhibits strong green photoluminescence,and Cs_2NaEuCl_6exhibits red photoluminescence.Under X-ray radiations,the light yield of Cs_2NaTbCl_6reaches46600 photons MeV^(-1),much higher than that of the commercially used(Lu,Y)_2SiO_5:Ce^(3+)crystals(LYSO,28500 photons MeV^(-1)),and previously reported lead-based perovskites(14000 photons MeV^(-1)).As a new member of lead-free perovskites,lanthanide-based double perovskites open up a new route toward radiation detections and potential medical imaging.Qingsong Hu Zhenzhou Deng Manchen Hu Anjiang Zhao Yaqi Zhang Zhifang Tan Guangda Niu Haodi Wu Jiang Tang 2018Science China Chemistry2018,61,12:7

3Targeting the elabela/apelin-apelin receptor axis as a novel therapeutic approach for hypertension显示文摘Hypertension is the leading risk factor for global mortality and morbidity and those with hypertension are more likely to develop severe symptoms in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular system,which is closely related to abnormal renin-angiotensin system and elabela/apelin-apelin receptor(APJ)axis.The elabela/apelin-APJ axis exerts essential roles in regulating blood pressure levels,vascular tone,and cardiovascular dysfunction in hypertension by counterbalancing the action of the angiotensin II/angiotensin II type 1 receptor axis and enhancing the endothelial nitric oxide(NO)synthase/NO signaling.Furthermore,the elabela/apelin-APJ axis demonstrates beneficial effects in cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology,including angiogenesis,cellular proliferation,fibrosis,apoptosis,oxidative stress,and cardiovascular remodeling and dysfunction during hypertension.More importantly,effects of the elabela/apelin-APJ axis on vascular tone may depend upon blood vessel type or various pathological conditions.Intriguingly,the broad distribution of elabela/apelin and alternative isoforms implicates its distinct functions in diverse cardiac and vascular cells and tissue types.Finally,both loss-of-function and gain-of-function approaches have defined critical roles of the elabela/apelin-APJ axis in reducing the development and severity of hypertensive diseases.Thus,targeting the elabela/apelin-APJ axis has emerged as a pre-warning biomarker and a novel therapeutic approach against progression of hypertension,and an increased understanding of cardiovascular actions of the elabela/apelin-APJ axis will help to develop effective interventions for hypertension.In this review,we focus on the physiology and biochemistry,diverse actions,and underlying mechanisms of the elabela/apelin-APJ axis,highlighting its role in hypertension and hypertensive cardiovascular injury and dysfunction,with a view to provide a prospective strategy for hypertensive disease therapy.Jiawei Song Jianqiong Tang Zhenzhou Zhang Ying Liu Jiuchang Zhong 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,9:1

6Research on the Pedestrian Re-Identification Method Based on Local Features and Gait Energy Images显示文摘The appearance of pedestrians can vary greatly from image to image,and different pedestrians may look similar in a given image.Such similarities and variabilities in the appearance and clothing of individuals make the task of pedestrian re-identification very challenging.Here,a pedestrian re-identification method based on the fusion of local features and gait energy image(GEI)features is proposed.In this method,the human body is divided into four regions according to joint points.The color and texture of each region of the human body are extracted as local features,and GEI features of the pedestrian gait are also obtained.These features are then fused with the local and GEI features of the person.Independent distance measure learning using the cross-view quadratic discriminant analysis(XQDA)method is used to obtain the similarity of the metric function of the image pairs,and the final similarity is acquired by weight matching.Evaluation of experimental results by cumulative matching characteristic(CMC)curves reveals that,after fusion of local and GEI features,the pedestrian re-identification effect is improved compared with existing methods and is notably better than the recognition rate of pedestrian re-identification with a single feature.Xinliang Tang Xing Sun Zhenzhou Wang Pingping Yu Ning Cao Yunfeng Xu 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,8:1

9A novel global optimization method of truss topology显示文摘This paper proposes a global topology optimization algorithm based on subset simulation for the singular optimum problem subject to stress constraints of trusses. The constraints are handled by a fitness function which reflects their degree of violation. The rational and global topology results are guaranteed by the judgment of the samples’ rationality and the Metropolis-Hasting algorithm. 20POWER CONTROL STRATEGIES FOR MULTICHANNEL COGNITIVE WIRELESS NETWORKS WITH OPPORTUNISTIC INTERFERENCE CANCELLATION显示文摘In this letter,an Opportunistic Interference Cancellation(OIC) is first introduced as a rate control strategy for secondary user in cognitive wireless networks. Based on the OIC rate control method,an optimal power control strategy for multichannel cognitive wireless networks is proposed. The algorithm aims to maximize the total transmit rate of cognitive user through appropriately controlling the transmit power of each subchannel under the constraint that the interference temperature at the primary receiver is below a certain threshold. Three suboptimal power control methods,namely Equal Power Transmission(EPT) ,Equal Rate Transmission(ERT) and Equal Interference Transmission(EIT) ,are also proposed.
