1Simulation study of coal mine safety investment based on system dynamics显示文摘To generate dynamic planning for coal mine safety investment, this study applies system dynamics to decision-making, classifying safety investments by accident type. It validates the relationship between safety investments and accident cost, by structurally analyzing the causality between safety investments and their influence factors. Our simulation model, based on Vensim software, conducts simulation analysis on a series of actual data from a coalmine in Shanxi Province. Our results indicate a lag phase in safety investments, and that increasing pre-phase safety investment reduces accident costs. We found that a 24% increase in initial safety investment could help reach the target accident costs level 14 months earlier. Our simulation test included nine kinds of variation trends of accident costs brought by different investment ratios on accident prevention. We found an optimized ratio of accident prevention investments allowing a mine to reach accident cost goals 4 months earlier, without changing its total investment.Tong Lei Dou Yuanyuan 2014International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2014,24,2:11
2Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4)-based nanosized heteroarrays: Promising materials for photoelectrochemical water splitting显示文摘Photoelectrochemical(PEC)water splitting is recognized as a sustainable strategy for hydrogen generation due to its abundant hydrogen source,utilization of inexhaustible solar energy,high-purity product,and environment-friendly process.To actualize a practical PEC water splitting,it is paramount to develop efficient,stable,safe,and low-cost photoelectrode materials.Recently,graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4)has aroused a great interest in the new generation photoelectrode materials because of its unique features,such as suitable band structure for water splitting,a certain range of visible light absorption,nontoxicity,and good stability.Some inherent defects of g-C3N4,however,seriously impair further improvement on PEC performance,including low electronic conductivity,high recombination rate of photogenerated charges,and limited visible light absorption at long wavelength range.Construction of g-C3N4-based nanosized heteroarrays as photoelectrodes has been regarded as a promising strategy to circumvent these inherent limitations and achieve the high-performance PEC water splitting due to the accelerated exciton separation and the reduced combination of photogenerated electrons/holes.Herein,we summarize in detail the latest progress of g-C3N4-based nanosized heteroarrays in PEC water-splitting photoelectrodes.Firstly,the unique advantages of this type of photoelectrodes,including the highly ordered nanoarray architectures and the heterojunctions,are highlighted.Then,different g-C3N4-based nanosized heteroarrays are comprehensively discussed,in terms of their fabrication methods,PEC capacities,and mechanisms,etc.To conclude,the key challenges and possible solutions for future development on g-C3N4-based nanosized heteroarray photoelectrodes are discussed.Liqun Wang Wenping Si Yueyu Tong Feng Hou Daniele Pergolesi Jungang Hou Thomas Lippert Shi Xue Dou Ji Liang 2020Carbon Energy2020,2,2:10

6Generalized two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy——Theory and applications in analytical field显示文摘Since the theory of generalized two-dimensional (2-D) correlation spectroscopy was proposed, it has been keenly concerned in scientific research and its analytical method has been widely applied in various analytical fields. The mathematical process to construct generalized 2-D correlation spectroscopy and the physical meaning of 2-D correlation spectral map are described, and three examples in the fields of chemical analysis and molecular biology are provided, such as the component analysis of organic solvent, the analysis of biological molecules in the solvent with different pH values and structural analysis of protein. 7β-Elemene-loaded polymeric micelles intensify anti-carcinoma efficacy and alleviate side effects显示文摘β-Elemene is a volatile oil used for the treatment of cancer,but poor solubility,low bioavailability,and various adverse reactions limit its application.For amelio rating risks of the venous toxicity ofβ-elemene,intravenously injectable micelle ofβ-elemene was prepared using the thin-film hydration method.The results pointed out the micelles were uniformly spherical with about 20.96±0.1966 nm in average diameter and exhibited high entrapment efficiency(99.02%±0.88%).As revealed by drug release studies in vitro,β-elemene micelles had sustained drug release.Compared with freeβ-elemene,the micelles increased the drug cellular uptake and enhanced the anti-tumor effect in vitro through retarding cell cycle and inducing apoptosis.Meanwhile,the elevated se rum stability o fβ-elemene micelles implied less drug leakage and reduced toxicity.The wound healing and tube formation assay in vitro demonstrated the anti-metastasis and anti-angiogenesis effects ofβ-elemene micelles.Moreover,the pharmacokinetics study showed the AUC and T1/2 ofβ-elemene in micelle group were 1.79 and 1.62 times of that in free fi-elemene group,suggesting the circulation time ofβ-elemene in the blood had been prolonged.In addition,β-elemene micelles showed a favorable antitumor response compared with theβ-elemene solution on C26 colon cance r-bearing mice model.Local irritation study investigated in rabbits indicated that theβ-elemene micelles strikingly mitigated the irritation to the injection sites compared with freeβ-elemene.These results proved that the micelle could be a good candidate as an auspicious drug delivery system ofβ-elemene for the prospective clinical treatment of carcinoma.Qiaoqiao Hu Lan Bai Zejiang Zhu Zhengying Su Peng Bai Minghai Tang Caixia Dou Junfeng Yan Rongsheng Tong Wuyu Zhang Lijuan Chen Lulu Cai 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,3:2
8A modified laser-induced choroidal neovascularization animal model with intravitreal oxidized low-density lipoprotein显示文摘AIM: To investigate whether intravitreal injection of oxidized low-density lipoprotein(OxLDL) can promote laserinduced choroidal neovascularization(CNV) formation in mice and the mechanism involved, thereby to develop a better animal model.METHODS: C57BL6/J mice were randomized into three groups. Immediately after CNV induction with 532 nm laser photocoagulation, 1.0 μL of OxLDL [100 μg/m L in phosphate-buffered saline(PBS)] was intravitreally injected, whereas PBS and the same volume low-density lipoprotein(LDL;100 μg/m L in PBS) were injected into the vitreous as controls. Angiogenic and inflammatory cytokines were measured by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(q RT-PCR) and Western blotting(WB) after 5 d, and CNV severity was analyzed by choroid flat mount and immunofluorescence staining after 1wk. In vitro, retinal pigment epithelial(RPE) cell line(ARPE19) were treated with OxLDL(LDL as control) for 8 h. Angiogenic and inflammatory cytokine levels were measured. A specific inhibitor of lectin-like oxidized low-density lipoprotein receptor 1(LOX1) was used to evaluate the role of LOX1 in this process.RESULTS: At 7 d after intravitreal injection of 1 μL(100 μg/mL) OxLDL, T15-labeled OxLDL was mainly deposited around the CNV area, and the F4/80-labeled macrophages, the CD31-labeled vascular endothelial cells number and CNV area were increased. Meanwhile, WB and qR T-PCR results showed that vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), CC chemokine receptor 2(CCR2), interleukin-6(IL-6), IL-1β, and matrix metalloproteinase 9(MMP9) expressions were increased, which was supported by in vitro experiments in RPE cells. LOX1 inhibitors significantly reduced expressions of inflammatory factors IL-1β and VEGF. CONCLUSION: A modified laser-induced CNV animal model is established with intravitreal injection of 1 μL(100 μg/mL) of OxLDL at 7 d, which at least partially through LOX1. 9A simulation study of 630 nm and 557.7 nm airglow variations due to dissociative recombination and thermal electrons by high-power HF heating显示文摘One of the important effects of the ionospheric modification by high-power waves is the airglow enhancement. Both the thermal electrons and the dissociation recombination contribute to generate the airglow emissions during HF heating. However, the relative importance of the airglow emission induced by dissociative recombination and thermal electrons has been rarely investigated. In this study, we carry out a simulation study on the airglow produced by high-power HF heating at nighttime associated with dissociative recombination and thermal electrons. SAMI2(Sami2 is Another Model of the Ionosphere) is employed to simulate the ionospheric variations during the HF heating. The main conclusions from this study are as follows:(1) For the airglow induced by dissociative recombination, both 630.0 nm and 557.7 nm emissions show a decrease at the heating wave reflection height during the heating period,while when the heating is turned off, an increase is shown at lower altitudes. The reduction of airglow during the heating is caused by the rapid increase of electron temperature and the diffusion of plasmas dominates the after-heating airglow enhancement.(2) 630.0 nm emission due to thermal electrons is greatly enhanced at the wave reflection height, indicating that thermal electrons play a major role in exciting 630.0 nm emission. For the 557.7 nm emission, the excitation threshold(4.17 e V) is too high for thermal electrons.(3) The combined effect of dissociative recombination and thermal electrons could be the possible reason for the observed X-mode(extraordinary mode) suppression of 630.0 nm airglow during O-mode(ordinary mode) enhancement.Tong Dang JiuHou Lei XianKang Dou WeiXing Wan 2017Earth and Planetary Physics2017,1,1:2

13High temperature oxidation and ablation behaviors of HfB_(2)-SiC/SiC coatings for carbon/carbon composites fabricated by dipping-carbonization assisted pack cementation显示文摘To improve the uniformity and the content of HfBin Hf B-Si-based ceramic coating and alleviate the damage of substrate,and then enhance the high-temperature(1700°C)oxidation and cyclic ablation resistances of carbon/carbon composites,a close-knit double layer HfB_(2)-SiC/SiC coatings with a mosaic structure and high content of HfBwere prepared by a novel dipping-carbonization assisted pack cementation methods(DPC–HS/S).In contrast,a HfB_(2)-SiC/SiC coatings were also fabricated by pack cementation(PC–HS/S).Results revealed that the oxidation and ablation protective performances of the DPC–HS/S coatings were superior to those of PC–HS/S coatings.After 30 thermal cycles between 1500°C and room temperature,the mass gain of the coated sample was 0.78%,and the mass loss was 1.65%after oxidation at 1700°C for 156 h.Moreover,under an oxyacetylene torch ablation for 180 s(3 cycles),the linear ablation rate of the DPC–HS/S coated specimen was 1.62μm/s,which was much lower than that of PC–HS/S coated specimen(3.08μm/s).Lei Zhou Jiaping Zhang Dou Hu Qiangang Fu Wuqing Ding Jiaqi Hou Bing Liu Mingde Tong 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,16:1

20Study on Volume Variation and Stability of Riverbed in the Yangtze Estuary显示文摘In recent years,regional floods and typhoons have occurred in the Yangtze Estuary.Changing dynamic conditions and dramatic reduction of sediment discharge in the basin are affecting the dynamic equilibrium pattern of the Yangtze Estuary.Based on the field measurement data and theoretical derivation,this paper analyzed the changing process of runoff-sediment discharge into the sea after the operation of the Three Gorges Project(TGP),and the tidal dynamics and sediment variation characteristics of the Yangtze Estuary.The erosion of South Branch mainly occurs in the channel below-10 m contour,and the riverbed volume below contours 0 m and-10 m has a good correlation with the sediment discharge of Datong Station in the previous year.On this basis,the ratio of the horizontal distance from the starting point to the section centroid below the average water level(B_c)and the water depth at the section centroid(H_c)was proposed to describe the change of the section shape.The relationships between the water-diverting ratio,the sediment-diverting ratio and the water-diverting angle,the conditions of runoff and sediment discharge from the upper reach and the characteristics of the riverway section were established,and the theoretical calculation equations of the water-diverting ratio,the sediment-diverting ratio and the diverting angle of each bifurcation were also established.DING Lei JIAO Jian TONG Chao-feng WANG Yi-fei CHEN Ben SUN Jie-ying DOU Xi-ping 2023China Ocean Engineering2023,37,3:0
