4Comparison of soil physico-chemical properties under different land-use and cover types in northeastern China's Horqin Sandy Land显示文摘The Horqin Sandy Land of northeastern China was originally a grassland with plenty of water and lush vegetation dominated by palatable grass species along with sparsely scattered woody species. However, it has experienced severe desertification in recent decades due to its fragile ecology together with inappropriate human activities. Currently, the landscape of the Horqin Sandy Land is dominated by irrigated croplands and sand dunes with different degrees of vegetation cover, as the region has become the most important part of the semiarid agro-pastoral ecotone of northern China. In this study, we compared soil physical and chemical properties under different land-use and cover types(irrigated cropland, rainfed cropland, sandy grassland, fixed dunes, and mobile dunes). We found that soil particle size distribution; organic C, total N, and total mineral element, microelement, and available microelement and nutrient contents; p H; CEC; and bulk density differed significantly among the land-use and cover types. In general, soil quality was highest in the cropland, intermediate in the sandy grassland, and lowest in the dunes. The most important soil quality attribute, soil organic carbon(SOC) storage, decreased in the following order: irrigated cropland(5,699 g/m^2) > sandy grassland(3,390 g/m^2) > rainfed cropland(2,411 g/m^2) > fixed dunes(821 g/m^2) > mobile dunes(463 g/m^2). SOC was significantly positively correlated with a large proportion of the other soil physico-chemical parameters. 5Highly active N-doped carbon encapsulated Pd-Fe intermetallic nanoparticles for the oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Developing highly efficient non-R catalysts for fuel cells and metal-air batteries is highly desirable but still challenging due to the sluggish oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Herein,a facile and efficient strategy is demonstrated to prepare N-doped carbon encapsulated ordered Pd-Fe intermetallic(O-Pd-Fe@NC/C)nanoparticles via a one-step thermal annealing method.The obtained O-Pd-Fe@NC/C nanoparticles show enhanced ORR activity,durability and anti-poisoning capacity in both acid and alkaline medium.When O-Pd-Fe@NC/C serving as cathode catalyst for Zn-air battery,it exhibits higher voltage platform and superior cycling performance with respect to the Zn-air battery based on the mixture of Pt/C and Ir/C catalysts.The enhanced electrocatalytic performance can be ascribed to the formation of face-centered tetragonal(fct)Pd-Fe nanoparticles,the protective action of the N-doped carbon layer and the interface confinement effect between them.The in situ formed N-doped carbon shell not only restrains the Pd-Fe ordered intermetallics from aggregating effectively during the thermal annealing process,but also provides a strong anchoring effect to avoid the detachment of Pd-Fe nanoparticles from the carbon support during the potential cycling.This facile carbon encapsulation strategy may also be extended to the preparation of a wide variety of N-doped carbon encapsulated intermetallic compounds for fuel cell application.Yezhou Hu Yun Lu Xueru Zhao Tao Shen Tonghui Zhao Mingxing Gong Ke Chen Chenglong Lai Jian Zhang Huolin L.Xin Deli Wang 2020Nano Research2020,13,9:3

12Insight into the hydrogen oxidation electrocatalytic performance enhancement on Ni via oxophilic regulation of MoO_(2)显示文摘Exploring platinum-group-metal(PGM)free electrocatalysts for hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR)in alkaline media is essential to the progress of anion exchange membrane fuel cells(AEMFCs).In this work,a Ni/MoO_(2) heterostructure catalyst with comparable HOR activity in alkaline electrolyte with PGM catalyst was prepared by a simple hydrothermal-reduction method.Remarkably,the Ni/MoO_(2) presents a mass kinetic current density of 38.5 mA mgNi^(-1) at the overpotential of 50 mV,which is higher than that of the best PGM free HOR catalyst reported by far.Moreover,the HOR performance of Ni/MoO_(2) under 100 ppm CO shows negligible fading,together with the superior durability,render it significant potential for application in AEMFCs.A particular mechanistic study indicates that the excellent HOR performance is ascribed to the accelerated Volmer step by the incorporation of MoO_(2).The function of MoO_(2) was further confirmed by CO striping experiment on Pt/C-MoO_(2) that MoO_(2) can facilitated OH adsorption thus accelerate the HOR process.On account of the high performance and low cost,the Ni/MoO_(2) electrocatalyst encourages the establishment of high performance PGM free catalyst and shows significant potential for application in AEMFCs.Shaofeng Deng Xupo Liu Xuyun Guo Tonghui Zhao Yun Lu Jingyu Cheng Ke Chen Tao Shen Ye Zhu Deli Wang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:0
13How could N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonists lead to excitation instead of inhibition?显示文摘N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors(NMDARs) are a family of ionotropic glutamate receptors mainly known to mediate excitatory synaptic transmission and plasticity. Interestingly, low-dose NMDAR antagonists lead to increased, instead of decreased, functional connectivity;and they could cause schizophrenia-and/or antidepressant-like behavior in both humans and rodents. In addition, human genetic evidences indicate that NMDAR loss of function mutations underlie certain forms of epilepsy, a disease featured with abnormal brain hyperactivity. Together, they all suggest that under certain conditions,NMDAR activation actually lead to inhibition, but not excitation,of the global neuronal network. Apparently, these phenomena are rather counterintuitive to the receptor's basic role in mediating excitatory synaptic transmission. How could it happen? Recently, this has become a crucial question in order to fully understand the complexity of NMDAR function, particularly in disease. Over the past decades, different theories have been proposed to address this question. 14Theoretical analysis of the elastic Kelvin-Helmholtz instability in explosive weldings显示文摘By considering the joint effects of the Kelvin-Helmholtz(KH) and Rayleigh-Taylor(RT) instabilities, this paper presents an interpretation of the wavy patterns that occur in explosive welding. It is assumed that the elasticity of the material at the interface effectively determines the wavelength, because explosive welding is basically a solid-state welding process. To this end, an analytical model of elastic hydrodynamic instabilities is proposed, and the most unstable mode is selected in the solid phase. Similar approaches have been widely used to study the interfacial behavior of solid metals in high-energy-density physics. By comparing the experimental and theoretical results, it is concluded that thermal softening,which significantly reduces the shear modulus, is necessary and sufficient for successful welding. 15Molybdenum-doped titanium dioxide supported low-Pt electrocatalyst for highly efficient and stable hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘The Platinum(Pt)-based catalysts exhibit excellent catalytic performance for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) while suffering from poor stability due to the weak interaction between the carbon support and Pt.Herein,a molybdenum-doped titanium dioxide(Ti_(0.9)Mo_(0.1)O_(2)) supported low-Pt electrocatalyst with stronger interaction between catalyst and support is applied to tune the electrocatalytic performance of Pt.The Ti_(0.9)Mo_(0.1)O_(2) support can not only tolerate the corrosion environment in the catalytic system,but also generate strong metal-support inte raction(SMSI) between the oxide and catalyst.A facile solvothermal method is used to prepareTi_(0.9)Mo_(0.1)O_(2) as support to anchor Pt nanoparticles.The 5% Pt supported on Ti_(0.9)Mo_(0.1)O_(2) catalyst exhibits 4.4-fold mass activity(MA) at an overpotential of 50 mV and higher stability than 20% Pt/C with only 1/4 Pt loading.The SMSI between the Ti_(0.9)Mo_(0.1)O_(2) and Pt prevents the Pt aggregation to achieve excellent stability,and hydrogen spillover effect in the interface between Pt and support benefits the hydrogen production process.This work presents a novel sight for the fabrication and design of oxide supported catalysts in various catalytic system by reasonably employing support effect.Ke Chen Shaofeng Deng Yun Lu Mingxing Gong Yezhou Hu Tonghui Zhao Tao Shen Deli Wang 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,2:0
16Breeding of XX Females( XX ♀),YY Physiological Females( YY♀),YY Super-males( YY♂ ) of Pure-line Yellow Catfish( Pelteobagrus fulvidraco Richardson)显示文摘Mature wild-type yellow catfish( Pelteobagrus fulvidraco Richardson) individuals with excellent traits have been screened from the Yangtze River as broodstock to establish the germplasm bank of pure-line yellow catfish by artificial gynogenesis technique and hormonal sex reversal method. Based on pure lines of yellow catfish,super-males and physiological females of yellow catfish were selected by GMT technique,hormonal sex reversal method and test-crossing to establish the germplasm bank of YY physiological females( YY♀). The propagation system of male yellow catfish( XY♂) was established based on the combination of super-males( YY♂) and pure-line female( XX♀) for large-scale production of pure-line yellow catfish males,which effectively overcome the disadvantages in the production of common fingerlings and male fingerlings using low-grade fish with slow growth and small size at the bottom of the fish grader as broodfish,such as progeny germplasm degeneration,loss of growth vigor and reduction of breeding benefits. 17Boosting alkaline hydrogen electrooxidation on an unconventional fcc-Ru polycrystal显示文摘Precisely controlling the crystalline phase structure and exposed facets at the atomic level opens up a new avenue for efficient catalyst design.Along this line,we report an unconventional face-centered cubic(fcc)Ru with twinned structure and stacking-fault defects as a competent electrocatalyst towards alkaline hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR),which is now a major obstacle for the commercialization of anion exchange membrane fuel cells(AEMFC).With conventional hexagonal close packing(hcp)Ru as the counterpart,a novel scope from the phase-engineering is introduced to identify the activity origin and provide fundamental understanding of the sluggish HOR kinetics in alkaline medium.Systematic electrochemical analysis assisted by deconvoluting the hydrogen(H)desorption peaks indicates the superior performance of fcc Ru origins from the structure defects and higher proportion of the most active sites.DFT calculations,together with CO-stripping voltammograns further corroborate the stronger hydroxyl species(OH^(*))affinity lead to the higher activity on these sites.Meanwhile,it also demonstrates the H^(*)adsorption/desorption on polycrystalline Ru among the conventional'hydrogen region'is accompanied by the surface bound OH^(*)in alkaline medium,which is of great significance for subsequent alkaline HOR exploration and catalyst design.Tonghui Zhao Dongdong Xiao Yi Chen Xi Tang Mingxing Gong Shaofeng Deng Xupo Liu Jianmin Ma Xu Zhao Deli Wang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,10:0
18Toward Establishing a Low-cost UAV Coordinated Carbon Observation Network(LUCCN):First Integrated Campaign in China显示文摘In this study,we introduce our newly developed measurement-fed-perception self-adaption Low-cost UAV Coordinated Carbon Observation Network(LUCCN)prototype.The LUCCN primarily consists of two categories of instruments,including ground-based and UAV-based in-situ measurement.We use the GMP343,a low-cost non-dispersive infrared sensor,in both ground-based and UAV-based instruments.The first integrated measurement campaign took place in Shenzhen,China,4 May 2023.During the campaign,we found that LUCCN’s UAV component presented significant data-collecting advantages over its ground-based counterpart owing to the relatively high altitudes of the point emission sources,which was especially obvious at a gas power plant in Shenzhen.The emission flux was calculated by a crosssectional flux(CSF)method,the results of which differed from the Open-Data Inventory for Anthropogenic Carbon dioxide(ODIAC).The CSF result was slightly larger than others because of the low sampling rate of the whole emission cross section.The LUCCN system will be applied in future carbon monitoring campaigns to increase the spatiotemporal coverage of carbon emission information,especially in scenarios involving the detection of smaller-scale,rapidly varying sources and sinks.Dongxu YANG Tonghui ZHAO Lu YAO Dong GUO Meng FAN Xiaoyu REN Mingge LI Kai WU Jing WANG Zhaonan CAI Sisi WANG Jiaxu GUO Liangfu CHEN Yi LIU 2024Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2024,41,1:0
19Synergetic N-doped carbon with MoPd alloy for robust oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Synergistic catalysis opens up a new venue to improve the comprehensive application of the catalyst.Herein,a composite catalyst(Mo-Pd@N-C)consisting of the N-doped carbon derived from pyrolysis of spherical polypyrrole and MoPd nanoparticles(NPs)was constructed to emphasize the strong metal-support interaction for robust oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).The enhanced anchoring between the MoPd NPs and the substrate,and the N-species formed on the carbon matrix make the Mo-Pd@N-C deliver excellent performance with a half-wave potential of 0.945 V(vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE))for ORR,superior than that of commercial Pt/C(0.86 V).More importantly,it shows a negligible half-wave potential decline(<5 mV)and only~20%of mass activity(MA)attenuation after 30,000 cycles stability test,obviously better than those of Pt/C(~70%of MA attenuation and~30 mV of half-wave potential decline after only 15,000 cycles).This work highlights a novel synergistic method to prolong the life and improve the commercial prospects of the catalysts.Chaojie Cen Wenjing Tang Tonghui Zhao Yun Song Yun Yang Quanlong Xu Wei Chen 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
20Privacy Preserving Algorithm for Spectrum Sensing in Cognitive Vehicle Networks显示文摘The scarcity of spectrum resources fails to meet the increasing throughput demands of vehicular networks.There is an urgent need to maximize the utilization of spectrum bands in mobile networks.To ascertain the availability of spectrum bands,users should engage in wireless channel sensing and collaboration.However,spectrum sensing data always involves users’privacy,such as their location.This paper first introduces sensing trajectory inference attack in cognitive vehicular networks and then proposes a data confusion-based privacy-preserving algorithm and a cryptonym array-based privacy-preserving aggregation scheme for spectrum sensing in cognitive vehicular networks.Unlike existing methods,the proposed schemes transmit confused data during the aggregation process.This deliberate obfuscation makes it almost impossible to infer users’location from the transmitted data.The analysis demonstrates the resilience of the proposed schemes against sensing trajectory inference attack.Hongning LI Tonghui HU Jiexiong CHEN Xiuqiang WU Qingqi PEI 2024Chinese Journal of Electronics2024,33,1:0
