Ni/bentonite catalysts prepared by solution combustion method for CO_2 methanation显示文摘A 20 wt% Ni/bentonite catalyst was prepared by a solution combustion synthesis (SCS), which exhibited higher activity for the CO_2methanation than that of an impregnation method (IPM), and the catalyst prepared by SCS showed a CO_2 conversion of 85% and a CH4selectivity of 100% at 300 °C, atmospheric pressure, and 3600 ml·(g cat)-1·h-1, and the catalyst exhibited stable within a 110-h reaction. The results showed higher me- tallic Ni dispersion, smaller Ni particle size, larger specific surface area and lower reduction temperature in the Ni/ bentonite prepared by SCS than that of IPM. And the Ni/bentonite prepared by the SCS moderated the interaction between NiO and bentonite. | Yuexiu Jiang Tongxia Huang Lihui Dong Zuzeng Qin Hongbing Ji | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,11: | 3
Establishment of an optimized CTC detection model consisting of EpCAM,MUC1 and WT1 in epithelial ovarian cancer and its correlation with clinical characteristics显示文摘Objective:Emerging studies have demonstrated the promising clinical value of circulating tumor cells(CTCs)for diagnosis, disease assessment, treatment monitoring and prognosis in epithelial ovarian cancer. However, the clinical application of CTC remains restricted due to diverse detection techniques with variable sensitivity and specificity and a lack of common standards. Methods:We enrolled 160 patients with epithelial ovarian cancer as the experimental group, and 90 patients including 50 patients with benign ovarian tumor and 40 healthy females as the control group. We enriched CTCs with immunomagnetic beads targeting two epithelial cell surface antigens(EpCAM and MUC1),and used multiple reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)detecting three markers(EpCAM,MUC1 and WT1)for quantification. And then we used a binary logistic regression analysis and focused on EpCAM,MUC1 and WT1 to establish an optimized CTC detection model. Results:The sensitivity and specificity of the optimized model is 79.4%and 92.2%,respectively.The specificity of the CTC detection model is significantly higher than CA125(92.2%vs.82.2%,P=0.044),and the detection rate of CTCs was higher than the positive rate of CA125(74.5%vs.58.2%,P=0.069)in early-stage patients(stage I and II).The detection rate of CTCs was significantly higher in patients with ascitic volume≥500 mL,suboptimal cytoreductive surgery and elevated serum CA125 level after 2 courses of chemotherapy(P<0.05).The detection rate of CTC;and CTC;was significantly higher in chemo-resistant patients(26.3%vs.11.9%;26.4%vs.13.4%,P<0.05).The median progression-free survival time for CTC;patients trended to be longer than CTC;patients, and overall survival was shorter in CTC;patients(P=0.043).Conclusions:Our study presents an optimized detection model for CTCs,which consists of the expression levels of three markers(EpCAM,MUC1 and WT1).In comparison with CA125,our model has high specificity and demonstrates better diagnostic values, especially for early-stage ovarian cancer.Detection of CTC;and CTC;had predictive value for chemotherapy resistance, and the detection of CTC;suggested poor prognosis. | Tongxia Wang Yan Gao Xi Wang Junrui Tian Yuan Li Bo Yu Cuiyu Huang Hui Li Huamao Liang David M.Irwin Huanran Tan Hongyan Guo | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,2: | 2

Dose-dependent effects of procyanidin on nerve growth factor expression following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats显示文摘BACKGROUND: Recently, grape seed procyanidin (GSP) has been shown to be exhibit antioxidant effects, effectively reducing ischemia/reperfusion injury and inhibiting brain cell apoptosis. OBJECTIVE: To study the effects of GSP on nerve growth factor (NGF) expression and neurological function following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats. DESIGN: Randomized controlled study based on SD rats. SETTING: Weifang Municipal People's Hospital. MATERIALS: Forty-eight healthy adult SD rats weighing 280-330 g and irrespective of gender were provided by the Experimental Animal Center of Shandong University. GSP derived from grape seed was a new high-effective antioxidant provided by Tianjin Jianfeng Natural Product Researching Company (batch number: 20060107). Rabbit-anti-rat NGF monoclonal antibody was provided by Beijing Zhongshan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and SABC immunohistochemical staining kit by Wuhan Boster Bioengineering Co., Ltd. METHODS: The present study was performed in the Functional Laboratory of Weifang Medical College from April 2006 to January 2007. Forty-eight SD rats were randomly divided into the sham operation group, ischemia/reperfusion group, high-dose GSP (40 mg/kg) group, or low-dose GSP (10 mg/kg) group (n = 12 per group). Ischemia/reperfusion injury was established using the threading embolism method of the middle cerebral artery. Rats in the ischemia/reperfusion model group were given saline injection (2 mL/kg i.p.) once daily for seven days pre-ischemia/reperfusion, and once more at 15 minutes before reperfusion. Rats in the high-dose and low-dose GSP groups were injected with GSP (20 or 5 mg/mL i.p., respectively, 2 mL/kg) with the same regime as the ischemia/reperfusion model group. The surgical procedures in the sham operation group were as the same as those in the ischemia/reperfusion model group, but the thread was approximately 10 mm long, thus, the middle cerebral artery was not blocked. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: NGF expression in the ischemic penumbra of the temporal cortex was detected by immunohistochemistry, and positive cells counted by light microscopy (×400). The positive cell rate was calculated by [(positive cells/total cells) × 100%]. Neurological function was scored after 2-hour ischemia/48-hour reperfusion. Higher scores reflected more severe neurofunctional defect. RESULTS: The positive rate of NGF expression in all groups receiving ischemia/reperfusion was significantly higher than that in the sham operation group (q=3.87, P < 0.05). The positive rate of NGF expression in the high-dose and low-dose GSP groups were significantly higher than that in the model group (q=4.12, P < 0.05), and were greater in the high-dose compared to low-dose GSP groups (q=4.22, P < 0.05). Neurological function scores in the high-dose and low-dose GSP groups were significantly lower than that in the ischemia/reperfusion model group (q=3.92, P < 0.05). Neurological function score in the high-dose GSP group was significantly less than that in the low-dose GSP group (q=4.02, P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: GSP may up-regulate brain-derived NGF expression in a dose-dependent manner following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in order to improve neurological function and protect the brain. | Feng Li Hai Xie Ying Gao Tongxia Zhan | 2008 | Neural Regeneration Research2008,3,4: | 1

NCL-based mitochondrial-targeting fluorescent probe for the detection of Glutathione in living cells显示文摘Glutathione(GSH) plays a critical role in maintaining cellular redox homeostasis in biological system.Mitochondrion is a pivotal organelle for cellular aerobic respiration and its disorder is associated with impaired redox balance, leading to cell death. In this work, we designed and synthesized a non-invasive“off-on” mitochondrial-targeting fluorescent probe QZ for the detection of GSH in living cells. Based on the mechanism of native chemical ligation(NCL) and fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET), a rhodamine B derivative, QZ was prepared, by choosing aromatic thioester bond as the selective reaction site. QZ exhibited excellent detection capability for GSH over Cys and Hcy. Upon addition of GSH to QZ solution, a remarkably enhanced fluorescence was observed with a limit of detection of 2.98 μmol/L.Furthermore, QZ was found to possess the specific mitochondrial localization ability in cell imaging experiments. Moreover, with exogenous and endogenous stimulations, QZ could image GSH in living cells. | Tongxia Jin Mengyu Cui Dan Wu Weiping Zhu Yufang Xu Xuhong Qian | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,12: | 1

The Precursory Significance of Cumulative Slip of Repeating Earthquake Sequences Prior to Moderately Strong Earthquakes A Case Study of Four Remarkable Earthquake Sequences of Haicheng- Xiuyan显示文摘The Haicheng-Xiuyan region is an earthquake-prone area in Liaoning Province where earthquake sequences frequently occur and is regarded as the regional seismic window. In this area we found many earthquake events with the highest waveform similarity in the records of the same station from some remarkable seismic sequences, namely repeating earthquake sequences. In principle, rupture areas of the repeating events overlap with each other and are most closely located. Therefore these events may reflect the seismic process near the earthquake fault. In this paper, we identified four remarkable earthquake sequences of Haicheng-Xiuyan by waveform cross-correlation. The result shows that the cumulative slip of repeating earthquakes is related to moderately strong earthquakes, among which the Xiuyan M_S5. 4 foreshock sequence has the strongest and most apparent pre-shock accelerating-like slip behavior. | Li Yutong Zhang Bo Wang Liang Li Tongxia | 2016 | Earthquake Research in China2016,30,1: | 0
Supramolecular flow chemistry: Construction of multiscale supramolecular assemblies by micro/nanofluidic techniques显示文摘The rapid and precise fabrication of multiscale supramolecular assemblies using micro/nanofluidic techniques has emerged as a dynamic area of research in supramolecular chemistry, materials chemistry, and organic chemistry. This review summarizes the application of micro/nanofluidic techniques in constructing supramolecular assemblies, including nanoscale supramolecular assemblies such as macrocycles and cages, microscale supramolecular assemblies such as metal organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs), and macroscale supramolecular assemblies such as supramolecular hydrogels. Compared to conventional synthesis methods, micro/nanofluidic techniques for the production of supramolecular assemblies have significant advantages, including enhanced safety, high reaction rates, improved selectivity/yield, and scalability. Additionally, micro/nanofluidic systems facilitate the creation of precisely controllable micro/nanoconfined environments, allowing for a unique flow behavior that improves our understanding of the supramolecular self-assembly process. Such systems may also lead to the development of novel supramolecular assemblies that differ from those generated via traditional methods. | Leyong Zhou Changyin Yang Weitao Dou Tongxia Jin Haibo Yang Lin Xu | 2024 | Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,1: | 0
Bacteriological Analysis of the Digestive Tube of the Mud Snail (Bullacta exarata Philippi) and Its Rearing Shoal显示文摘The bacterial flora in the digestive tube of Bullacta exarata Philippi and its rearing shoal were investigated. A total of 157 strains of heterotrophic bacteria, isolated from crop, stomach intestine and other parts of the digestive tube, mainly belong to the genera Photobacterium, Bacillus, Pseudomonas Vibrio and some genera of the family Enterobacteriaceae. There are significantly more varieties of bacteria in crop than in stomach and intestine. A total of 173 strains of bacteria were isolated from the rearing shoal, belonging to 13 genera. The 5 predominant genera, such as Bacillus and Photobacterium, are the same as those in the digestive tube, but greatly differ in percentages. The number of heterotrophic bacteria and Vibrio in rearing shoal change in line with the alteration of the temperature, and are significantly affected by the use of pesticides. | WANG Guoliang, ZHENG Tianlun *, LU Tongxia, WANG Yinong, YU Hong, JIN Shan Department of Oceanology and Fishery, Ningbo University, Ningbo 315211, P.R.China | 2002 | Journal of Ocean University of Qingdao2002,1,2: | 0
Engineering naphthalimide-cyanine integrated near-infrared dye into ROS-responsive nanohybrids for tumor PDT/PTT/chemotherapy显示文摘Photodynamic(PDT)and photothermal therapies(PTT)are emerging treatments for tumour ablation.Organic dyes such as porphyrin,chlorin,phthalocyanine,boron-dipyrromethene and cyanine are the clinically or preclinically used photosensitizer or photothermal agents.Development of structurally diverse near-infrared dyes with long absorption wavelength is of great significance for PDT and PTT.Herein,we report a novel near-infrared dye ML880 with naphthalimide modified cyanine skeleton. The introduction of naphthalimide moiety results in stronger electron delocalization and larger redshift in emission compared with IR820.Furthermore,ML880 is co-loaded with chemotherapeutic drug into ROS-responsive mesoporous organosilica(RMON)to construct nanomedicine NBD&ML@RMON,which exhibits remarkable tumor inhibition effects through PDT/PTT/chemotherapy in vivo. | Tongxia Jin Di Cheng Guanyu Jiang Wenqian Xing Peiwen Liu Bin Wang Weiping Zhu Haitao Sun Zhenrong Sun Yufang Xu Xuhong Qian | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,8: | 0
