1Chinese consensus guidelines for diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal stromal tumor显示文摘In order to further promote the standardization of diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumor(GIST) in China, the members of Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology(CSCO) Expert Committee on GIST thoroughly discussed the key contents of the consensus guidelines, and voted on the controversial issue. In final, the Chinese consensus guidelines for the diagnosis and management of GIST(2017 edition) was formed on the basis of 2013 edition consensus guidelines, which is hereby announced. 2Design concept for electrocatalysts显示文摘Metal-based electrocatalysts with different sizes(single atoms,nanoclusters,and nanoparticles)show different catalytic behaviors for various electrocatalytic reactions.Regulating the coordination environment of active sites with precision to rationally design an efficient electrocatalyst is of great significance for boosting electrocatalytic reactions.This review summarizes the recent process of heterogeneous supported single atoms,nanoclusters,and nanoparticles catalysts in electrocatalytic reactions,respectively,and figures out the construct strategies and design concepts based on their strengths and weaknesses.Specifically,four key factors for enhancing electrocatalytic performance,including electronic structure,coordination environment,support property,and interfacial interactions are proposed to provide an overall comprehension to readers in this field.Finally,some insights into the current challenges and future opportunities of the heterogeneous supported electrocatalysts are provided.Yao Wang Xiaobo Zheng Dingsheng Wang 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:27

4Genome analysis of Taraxacum kok-saghyz Rodin provides new insights into rubber biosynthesis显示文摘The Russian dandelion Taraxacum kok-saghyz Rodin(TKS), a member of the Composite family and a potential alternative source of natural rubber(NR) and inulin, is an ideal model system for studying rubber biosynthesis. Here we present the draft genome of TKS, the first assembled NR-producing weed plant. The draft TKS genome assembly has a length of 1.29 Gb, containing 46 731 predicted protein-coding genes and68.56% repeats, in which the LTR-RT elements predominantly contribute to the genome enlargement. We analyzed the heterozygous regions/genes, suggesting its possible involvement in inbreeding depression.Through comparative studies between rubber-producing and non-rubber-producing plants, we found that enzymes of the mevalonate(MVA) pathway and rubber elongation might be critical for rubber biosynthesis, and several key isoforms have been isolated and shown to be predominantly expressed in the latex, indicating their crucial functions in rubber biosynthesis. Moreover, for two important families in rubber elongation, the CPT/CPTL and REF/SRPP families, diverse evolutionary tracks have been revealed. 5Downstaging and resection of hepatocellular carcinoma in patients with extrahepatic metastases after stereotactic therapy显示文摘Background:A combination of tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs)and anti-PD-1 antibodies with local regional therapy has elicited yield substantial clinical benefits in patients who have hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)with extrahepatic metastases.Using this treatment strategy to convert HCC patients with extrahepatic metastases from unresectable to resectable has not yet been reported.Methods:Consecutive hepatocellular carcinoma patients with extrahepatic metastases who received first-line therapy with a combination of TKIs and anti-PD-1 antibodies and at least one local regional therapy were analysed.Results:Nine patients with localized disease who received first-line systemic therapy were enrolled.At baseline,all of them had oligometastatic disease,namely,Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage C(or Chinese Liver Cancer stage IIIB).The most common treatment administered was lenvatinib plus anti-PD-1 antibody and transarterial chemoembolization,and the median time span from systemic therapy to surgery was 3.2(IQR,2.8-6.2)months.Three patients achieved a pathological complete response.Six patients underwent laparoscopic surgery,and the other 3 patients underwent open surgery.After a median follow-up of 10.2(IQR,8.6-20.0)months,7 patients survived without disease recurrence,and 2 experienced tumour recurrence.All patients had any-grade AEs,and 55.6%of the patients experienced grade 3 AEs.Fatigue was the most common AE,followed by elevated aminotransferase levels and hypertension.Conclusions:Stereotactic therapy is a feasible conversion therapy for HCC patients with extrahepatic metastases to become resectable.This is the first study to analyse therapeutic outcomes of patients receiving these therapies for HCC with extrahepatic metastases.Xiaobo Yang Haifeng Xu Bangyou Zuo Xu Yang Jin Bian Junyu Long Dongxu Wang Junwei Zhang Cong Ning Yanyu Wang Ziyu Xun Yunchao Wang Xin Lu Yilei Mao Xinting Sang Haitao Zhao 2021Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,4:17
6Tracing the major source area of the mountainous runoff generation of the Heihe River in northwest China using stable isotope technique显示文摘Based on the data of δ18O in precipitation during the period of April 2006 through May 2007 in the upper catchment of the main stream of the Heihe River in the Qilian Mountains, we found that there existed an evident altitude effect on δ18O in precipitation, and the δ18O-altitude gradient was _0.18‰/100 m. When δ18O in river water at the outlet of the mountainous drainage area of the main stream of the Heihe River was combined with the δ18O-altitude relation, it was realized that the mountainous runoff was generated mostly at high altitudes. 7Characteristics and accumulation mechanism of tight sandstone gas reservoirs in the Upper Paleozoic, northern Ordos Basin, China显示文摘The Ordos Basin is a significant petroliferous basin in the central part of China.The Carboniferous and Permian deposits of transitional and continental facies are the main gas-bearing layers in the north part of the basin.The Carboniferous and Permian natural gas reservoirs in the northern Ordos Basin are mainly tight sandstone reservoirs with low porosity and low permeability,developing lots of 'sweet spots' with comparatively high porosity and permeability.The tight sandstones in the study area are gas-bearing,and the sweet spots are rich in gas.Sweet spots and tight sandstones are connected rather than being separated by an interface seal.Sweet spot sand bodies are vertically and horizontally overlapped,forming a large gas reservoir group.In fact,a reservoir formed by a single sweet spot sand body is an open gas accumulation.In the gentle dipping geological setting and with the source rocks directly beneath the tight reservoirs over a large area,the balance between gas charging into tight reservoirs from source rocks and gas loss from tight reservoirs through caprock is the key of gas accumulation in tight sandstones.Both the non-Darcy flow charging driven by source-reservoir excess pressure difference and the diffusion flow charging driven by source-reservoir gas concentration difference play an important role in gas accumulation.The results of mathematical modeling indicate that the gas accumulation cannot be formed by just one of the above mechanisms.The diffusion of gas from source rocks to reservoirs is a significant mechanism of tight sandstone gas accumulation.Liu Guangdi Sun Mingliang Zhao Zhongying Wang Xiaobo Wu Shenghe 2013Petroleum Science2013,10,4:16

9Etiology, pathogenesis, antivirals and vaccines of hand,foot, and mouth disease显示文摘Hand, foot, and mouth disease(HFMD), caused by enteroviruses, is a syndrome characterized by fever with vesicular eruptions mainly on the skin of the hands, feet, and oral cavity. HFMD primarily afects infants and young children. Although infection is usually self-limited, severe neurological complications in the central nervous system can present in some cases, which can lead to death. 10Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein-IgG Contributes to Oligodendrocytopathy in the Presence of Complement, Distinct from Astrocytopathy Induced by AQP4-IgG显示文摘Immunoglobulin G against myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein(MOG-Ig G) is detectable in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder(NMOSD) without aquaporin-4 Ig G(AQP4-Ig G), but its pathogenicity remains unclear.In this study, we explored the pathogenic mechanisms of MOG-Ig G in vitro and in vivo and compared them with those of AQP4-Ig G. MOG-Ig G-positive serum induced complement activation and cell death in human embryonic kidney(HEK)-293 T cells transfected with human MOG. In C57 BL/6 mice and Sprague-Dawley rats, MOG-Ig G only caused lesions in the presence of complement. Interestingly, AQP4-Ig G induced astroglial damage, while MOGIg G mainly caused myelin loss. MOG-Ig G also induced astrocyte damage in mouse brains in the presence ofcomplement. Importantly, we also observed ultrastructural changes induced by MOG-Ig G and AQP4-Ig G. These findings suggest that MOG-Ig G directly mediates cell death by activating complement in vitro and producing NMOSDlike lesions in vivo. 11Factors Associated with Thrombolysis Outcome in Ischemic Stroke Patients with Atrial Fibrillation显示文摘The outcome of early intravenous thrombolysis for ischemic stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF)is worse than that without thrombosis. How to increase the efficacy of intravenous thrombolysis for AF-related ischemic stroke remains largely unknown. In this study, we investigated factors that influence the effect of intravenous thrombolysis in these patients. Our results showed that thrombolysis was independently associated with a favorable outcome(P \ 0.001) and did not influence the mortality of AF-related ischemic stroke, although it increased the risk of hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. Risk factors for a poor outcome at admission were:heart failure(P = 0.045); high systolic pressure(P = 0.039); high blood glucose(P = 0.030); and a high National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) score(P \ 0.001). Moreover, high systolic pressure at admission(P = 0.007), high blood glucose(P = 0.027), and a high NIHSS score(P \ 0.001) were independent risk factors for mortality at 3 months. Besides thrombolysis, a high NIHSS score(P = 0.006) and warfarin taken within 48 h before stroke onset(P = 0.032) were also independent risk factors for symptomatic hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. 12Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 13A distributed surface energy and mass balance model and its application to a mountain glacier in China显示文摘Based on the field observations on Qiyi Glacier during the warm season of 2007,using a digital elevation model(DEM,15 m resolution),we developed a distributed surface energy-and mass-balance model with an hourly resolution.The model described the effect of topography on shortwave solar radiation,and used a new parameterization for glacier albedo.The model was applied to Qiyi Glacier in the Qilian Mountain,China,for the period 20:00 30 June to 12:00 10 October 2007,to simulate the firn-line changes,the temporal and spatial variations of mass balance,and the glacial meltwater runoff.The results indicated that the patterns of altitudinal profile of glacier mass-balance were affected mainly by the altitudinal profile of albedo,and the status of the glacier mass balance was influenced directly by the values of albedo.The parameter sensitivity test showed that the model was sensitive to the air temperature lapse rate and precipitation gradient,and also sensitive to the threshold temperature for solid/liquid precipitation.Furthermore,the climate sensitivity test showed that the mass balance was more sensitive to air temperature than precipitation,and the response of mass balance to air temperature change was nonlinear while the response to precipitation change linearly.The negative mass balance trend of the glacier can not be reversed when precipitation increases by 20%and meanwhile air temperature rises by 1°C.JIANG Xi WANG NingLian HE JianQiao WU XiaoBo SONG GaoJu 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,20:11
14Extraction of scandium from red mud by acid leaching with CaF2 and solvent extraction with P507显示文摘The extraction of Sc by acid leaching with CaF2 and solvent extraction with P507 from red mud was proposed.The influence of acid leaching and solvent extraction on recovery of Sc was investigated.The CaF2 can obviously improve the leaching efficiency of Sc and reduce the acid consumption.The leaching efficiency of Sc increases from 74%to 92%and the dosage of acid reduces under suitable conditions by adding 5%CaF2.The minerals in red mud can easily be decomposed and leached into the acid solution with CaF2 through analysis of XRD pattern.The particles of red mud become smaller and multihole.The Sc can be selectively extracted with 10%P507 at the pH value of 0.1 from the acid leaching solution.More than 98%of Sc and less than 10%of Al and Fe are extracted.The SC2O3 with purity of 99%is obtained after the process of reverse extraction with NaOH,H2SO4 dissolution,precipitation by oxalic acid and roasting at 750℃.Xiaobo Zhu Wang Li Baolin Xing Yude Zhang 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,9:11
15Linear sand ridges on the outer shelf of the East China Sea显示文摘Based on the latest full-coverage high-resolu- tion multi-beam sounding data, the distribution of the linear sand ridges on the outer shelf of the East China Sea (ECS) is studied with quantitative statistical analysis. The study area can be divided into the northeastern part and the southwest-ern part. Sand ridges in the northeastern area, trending 116°N, show obvious linear character and shrink to the inner shelf. Sand ridges in the southwestern area, trending 120°N-146°N, tend to have net form. Sand ridges gradually be-come sand sheets in the center part of study area. Sand ridges are distributed landward to the isobath of 60m, dis-tributed seaward to the water depth of 120 m in the north-east and 150 m in the southwest. Immature sand ridges are observed at water depth of 130-180 m in the southwestern depressions. The acoustic reflection properties of the internal high-angle inclined beddings of the sand ridges are analyzed based on the typical seismic profiles close to the research area. Lithological analysis and dating of 4 boreholes and 12 cores indicate that the widely distributed transgressive sand layer with high content of shell debris which was formed in the early-middle Holocene is the main composition of the linear sand ridges on the outer shelf of the ECS. The domi-nating factor in formation, developing and burying of the sand ridges is the variation of water depth caused by sea- level change and the rate of sediment supply. In 12400 aBP the cotidal lines of the M2 tidal component were closely per-pendicular to the strike-directions of the sand ridges in the study area, and the tidal wave system during 12000-8000 aBP might play a key role in the formation of the linear sand ridges which are widely distributed on the outer shelf of the ECS.WU Ziyin JIN Xianglong LI Jiabiao ZHENG Yulong WANG Xiaobo 2005Chinese Science Bulletin2005,50,21:11

17Research on crystal growth and properties of a new nonlinear optical crystal:Bismuth borate BiB_3O_6显示文摘BiB3O6 (BIBO) single crystals with sizes of 44 mm × 24 mm × 10 mm and weight of 24.7 g have been successfully grown by the top-seeded method. In this note, the preparation of seed, the growth of crystal and some problems encountered are reported. The lattice parameters of BIBO are a =7.1203(7)A, b = 4.9948(7)A, c = 6.5077(7)A, β= 105.586(8) ', V=222.93(5)A3, which were determined by BRUKER-P4 four-circle diffractometer. BIBO is biaxial crystal and the relative orientation of (X, Y, Z) with regard to (a, b, c) is: X|| b, (Y, c) =47.2°, (Z, a) = 31.6°, determined by the X-ray analysis combined with polarized microscopy. The second-harmonic-generation (SHG) conversion efficiency of the sample for 1.064 μm light is up to 67.7%. We have also obtained the third harmonic generation (THG) of 1.064 μm, namely, 1.064 μm + 0.532 μn →0.355 μm. 18Dietary seaweed-derived polysaccharides improve growth performance of weaned pigs through maintaining intestinal barrier function and modulating gut microbial populations显示文摘Background:Seaweed-derived polysaccharides(SDP)represent an attractive source of prebiotic nutraceuticals for the food and animal husbandry industry.However,the mechanism by which SDP from Enteromorpha mediates pig growth are not fully understood.This study aimed to investigate how SDP supplementation influences the growth performance and intestinal health in weaned pigs.Results:In Exp.1,240 weaned pigs were randomly assigned to four dietary treatments and fed with a basal diet or a basal diet containing 200,400 or 800 mg/kg SDP,respectively,in a 21-day trial.Pigs on the 400 or 800 mg/kg SDP-supplemented group had greater ADG and lower F/G ratio than those on the control group(P<0.05).In Exp.2,20 male weaned pigs were randomly assigned to two treatments and fed with a basal diet(CON group)or a basal diet supplemented with 400 mg/kg SDP(the optimum does from Exp.1),in a 21-day trial.Pigs fed the SDP diet had greater ADG,the concentrations of serum IL-6 and TNF-αand the activities of glutathione peroxidase,superoxide dismutase and catalase(P<0.05),and lower F/G,diarrhea rate,as well as serum D-lactate concentrations and diamine oxidase activity(P<0.05).Moreover,dietary SDP supplementation enhanced secretory immunoglobulin A content,villus height and villous height:crypt depth ratio in small intestine,as well as the lactase and maltase activities in jejunum mucosa(P<0.05).SDP supplementation elevated the mRNA levels of inflammatory responserelated genes(IL-6,TNF-α,TLR4,TLR6 and MyD88),and the mRNA and protein levels of ZO-1,claudin-1 and occludin in jejunum mucosa(P<0.05).Importantly,SDP not only increased the Lactobacillus population but also reduced the Escherichia coli population in cecum(P<0.05).Furthermore,SDP increased acetic acid and butyric acid concentrations in cecum(P<0.05).Conclusions:These results not only suggest a beneficial effect of SDP on growth performance and intestinal barrier functions,but also offer potential mechanisms behind SDP-facilitated intestinal health in weaned pigs.Tiande Zou Jin Yang Xiaobo Guo Qin He Zirui Wang Jinming You 2021Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,3:10
19High-resolution crustal velocity imaging using ambient noise recordings from a high-density seismic array:An example from the Shangrao section of the Xinjiang basin,China显示文摘A profile of shallow crustal velocity structure(1–2 km) may greatly enhance interpretation of the sedimentary environment and shallow tectonic deformation.Recent advances in surface wave tomography, using ambient noise data recorded with high-density seismic arrays, have improved the understanding of regional crustal structure. As the interest in detailed shallow crustal structure imaging has increased, dense seismic array methods have become increasingly efficient. This study used a high-density seismic array deployed in the Xinjiang basin in southeastern China, to record seismic data, which was then processed with the ambient noise tomography method. The high-density seismic array contained 203 short-period seismometers, spaced at short intervals(~ 400 m). The array collected continuous records of ambient noise for 32 days. Data preprocessing,cross correlation calculation, and Rayleigh surface wave phase-velocity dispersion curve extraction, yielded more than 16,000 Rayleigh surface wave phase-velocity dispersion curves, which were then analyzed using the direct-inversion method. Checkerboard tests indicate that the shear wave velocity is recovered in the study area, at depths of 0–1.4 km,with a lateral image resolution of ~ 400 m. Model test results show that the seismic array effectively images a 50 m thick slab at a depth of 0–300 m, a 150 m thick anomalous body at a depth of 300–600 m, and a 400 m thick anomalous body at a depth of 0.6–1.4 km. The shear wave velocity profile reveals features very similar to those detected by a deep seismic reflection profile across the study area. 20Plasma metabolomic and lipidomic alterations associated with COVID-19显示文摘The pandemic of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has become a global public health crisis.The symptoms of COVID-19 range from mild to severe,but the physiological changes associated with COVID-19 are barely understood.In this study,we performed targeted metabolomic and lipidomic analyses of plasma from a cohort of patients with COVID-19 who had experienced different symptoms.We found that metabolite and lipid alterations exhibit apparent correlation with the course of disease in these patients,indicating that the development of COVID-19 affected their whole-body metabolism.In particular,malic acid of the TCA cycle and carbamoyl phosphate of the urea cycle result in altered energy metabolism and hepatic dysfunction,respectively.It should be noted that carbamoyl phosphate is profoundly down-regulated in patients who died compared with patients with mild symptoms.And,more importantly,guanosine monophosphate(GMP),which is mediated not only by GMP synthase but also by CD39 and CD73,is significantly changed between healthy subjects and patients with COVID-19,as well as between the mild and fatal cases.In addition,dyslipidemia was observed in patients with COVID-19.Overall,the disturbed metabolic patterns have been found to align with the progress and severity of COVID-19.This work provides valuable knowledge about plasma biomarkers associated with COVID-19 and potential therapeutic targets,as well as an important resource for further studies of the pathogenesis of COVID-19.Di Wu Ting Shu Xiaobo Yang Jian-Xin Song Mingliang Zhang Chengye Yao Wen Liu Muhan Huang Yuan Yu Qingyu Yang Tingju Zhu Jiqian Xu Jingfang Mu Yaxin Wang Hong Wang Tang Tang Yujie Ren Yongran Wu Shu-Hai Lin Yang Qiu Ding-Yu Zhang You Shang Xi Zhou 2020National Science Review2020,7,7:9
