| 1 | Application of entropy production theory to hydro-turbine hydraulic analysis显示文摘The understanding of hydraulic behavior in the hydro turbine requires the detailed study of fluid flow in the turbine. Previous methods of analyzing the numerical simulation results on the fluid machinery are short of intuitiveness on energy dissipation.In this paper, the energy dissipation was analyzed based on the entropy production theory. 3-D steady flow simulations and entropy production calculations of the reduced hydro turbine were carried out. The results indicated that the entropy production theory was suitable for evaluating the performance of the hydro turbine. The energy dissipation in the guide vanes area weighted nearly 25% of the whole flow passage, and mainly happened at the head and tail areas of the vanes. However, more than half the energy dissipation occurred in the runner, mostly at the leading edge of runner blade and the trailing edge of run-ner blade. Meanwhile, close to 20% of the energy dissipation occurred in the elbow. | 7 | Four-year dynamic observation and study on standardized management of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes in Beijing Yongding Road Community显示文摘Purpose:This study aimed to understand the joint standard of blood glucose,blood li-pids,and blood pressure in elderly patients>60 years of age with type 2 diabetes in the Beijing Yongding Road Community.Methods:One hundred ninety-two elderly patients>60 years of age who were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in Yongding Road Community served as the investigation subjects,under-went standard management,and the dynamic changes in blood glucose,blood lipids,and blood pressure were monitored for 48 months.Results:At the end of the observation period,the standard rates of fasting blood glucose and postprandial blood glucose were 72.55%and 80.00%,respectively,which were increased compared with 55.73%and 56.08%at baseline(P<0.01).The standard rate of HbA1c was 59.81%,which was increased compared with 53.44%at baseline(P>0.05).The standard rates of TG and LDL-C were 76.71%and 60.38%,respectively,which were increased compared with 54.69%and 34.74%at base-line,and the standard rate of HDL-C was 13.64%,which was decreased compared with 40.10%at baseline(P<0.01).The standard rate of BP was 58.33%,which was increased compared with 38.54%at baseline(P<0.01).The optimal control rate of blood glucose for 48 months(the standard times of the total measurement times in 48 months≥75%)was higher;the fasting blood glucose was 52.17%,the 2-h postprandial blood glucose was 60.22%,and the HbA1c was 46.45%.The optimal control rate of blood lipids was lower;LDL-C was 17.49%and HDL-C was 13.59%.The optimal control rate of BP was 9.13%.At the end of the observation period,the levels of fasting blood glucose and postprandial blood glucose were decreased by 0.7 mmol/L and 1.48 mmol/L,respectively,compared with the base-line(P<0.01).The level of HbA1c was decreased by 0.18%compared with the baseline(P<0.05).The levels of LDL-C and HDL-C were decreased by 0.4 mmol/L and 0.23 mmol/L,respectively,compared with the baseline(P<0.01).The levels of SBP and DBP were decreased by 4 mmHg compared with the baseline(P<0.01).At the end of the observation period,the joint standard rate of the three indices of HbA1c,LDL-C,and BP was 24.72%,which was increased compared with 6.25%at baseline(P<0.01).Conclusion:Standardized management of elderly patients with diabetes in the Community can improve the joint standard rate of blood glucose,blood lipids,and blood pressure.The op-timal control rate and joint standard rate are the important indices for evaluating the quality of diabetes management. | Yue Li Dongyun Shen Wei Zhang Yimin Wang Hongmei Li Jie Geng Liying Yang Zhijun Xiao Yan Liu Zhigang Feng Linying Cao Yan Jin Lixia Shi | 2014 | Family Medicine and Community Health2014,2,2: | 4 |

| 9 | Analysis of F_1 hybrid and BC_1 monosomic alien addition line plants from Brassica oleracea × Sinapis alba by GISH显示文摘Sterile and semi-fertile F_1 plants were obtained by intergeneric sexual hybridization between paternal Brassica oleracea var. alboglabra (genome CC, 2n=18) and maternal Sinapis alba (genome SS, 2n=24), BC_1 plants were obtained by backcrossing between paternal B. oleracea and ma-ternal semi-fertile F_1 plants. Genomic in situ hybridization (GISH) combined with dual-colour fluorescence in situ hybridization (dcFISH) showed that sterile F_1 plants contained 21 chromosomes consist-ing of one B. oleracea chromosome set and one S. alba chromosome set, belonging to expected hybrids, and semi-fertile F_1 plants contained 30 chromosomes consisting of two B. oleracea chromosome sets and one S. alba chromosome set. It is obvious that the semi-fertile F_1 plants belong to unexpected hybrids. 1―3 trivalents were detected at meiotic metaphase I of semi-fertile F_1 pollen mother cells (PMCs). Different separation ratios of S chromosomes were detected at anaphase I. A monosomic alien addition line (MAAL) was identified by GISH-dcFISH from BC_1 plants; it contained 19 chromosomes consisting of 18 C chromosomes and 1 S chromosome. At meiotic metaphase I, 9 divalents from B. oleracea and one univalent from S. alba could be detected. Sometimes, one putative C-S trivalent could also be detected. | 10 | Calculation of Temperature Field During Laser Transformation Hardening of Cylindrical Bodies显示文摘A Two-dimensional transient heat transfer model for laser transformation hardening process of cylindrical bodies has been developed. The surface heat loss of the sample, the latent heat of phase transformation, and the temperature dependence of thermal properties of material were considered. The laser heat source was considered as a moving Gaussian heat flux with a constant velocity. Finite element method was used to calculate the transient temperature field. A program to calculate the temperature field was developed using FORTRAN language. The transient temperature field, the width and depth of laser transformation hardening zone of 42CrMo steel sample during laser transformation hardening process was calculated. The widths and depths of laser transformation hardening zones of 42CrMo steel samples were also measured experimentally. | 12 | Cycle number of neoadjuvant chemotherapy might influence survival of patients with T1-4N2-3M0 nasopharyngeal carcinoma显示文摘Objective: Stage N2-3 nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) shows a high risk of distant metastasis, which will finally cause death. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NACT) of various cycles before radical radiotherapy on distant metastasis and survival of patients with stage N2-3 diseases.Methods: In this study, a total of 1,164 consecutive patients with non-metastatic N2-3 NPC were recruited and prospectively observed. Then 231 patients who received NACT of 4 cycles(NACT=4 group) were matched 1:2:1 to 462 patients treated with NACT of 2 cycles(NACT=2 group) and 231 patients treated without NACT(NACT=0 group), according to age, histological subtype, N stage and NACT regimen. Five candidate variables(sex, T stage, concurrent chemotherapy, intensity-modulated radiation therapy and cycle number of NACT) were analyzed for their association with patients' survival.Results: After matching, the overall survival(OS), disease-free survival(DFS), local-recurrence-free survival(RFS) and distant-metastasis-free survival(MFS) of the NACT=4 group(89.2%, 81.0%, 83.3% and 84.8%,respectively) were better than those of the NACT=2 group(83.3%, 72.5%, 81.2% and 77.9%, respectively) and the NACT=0 group(74.0%, 63.2%, 74.0% and 68.8%, respectively). | 13 | Design, Synthesis, Biological Evaluation and SARs of Novel Anthranilic Diamides Derivatives Containing Amide, Carbamate, Urea, and Thiourea Moieties显示文摘In order to discover potential ryanodine receptor insecticides, 21 novel anthranilic diamides analogues (C, D, E,and F) containing amide, carbamate, urea, and thiourea moieties were designed and synthesized based on bioiso-steric approach. The biological assays against oriental armyworm (Mythirnna separata) and diamondback moth(Plutella xylostella) indicated that these compounds displayed moderate to excellent activities. Especially, com-pound D1 showed 100% larvicidal activities against oriental armyworm at 1.0 mg.L^-1, equivalent to the standardchlorantraniliprole (100%, 1.0 mg·L^-1). Moreover, the larvicidal activity of D1 against diamondback moth was100% at 0.1 mg·L^-1, more effective than that of chlorantraniliprole (90%, 0.1 mg·L^-1). Therefore, D1 can be used asa new lead structure for the development of insecticidal agents. | 14 | Rapid screening detection of fluoroquinolone residues in milk based on turn-on fluorescence of terbium coordination polymer nanosheets显示文摘We report a facile, effective and rapid screening method for the determination of total fluoroquinolones(FQs) in milk using lanthanide coordination polymer nanomaterials as the sensing platform. The nonluminescent coordination polymer nanosheets(CPNSs) used in this work are composed of adenosine monophosphate(AMP) and terbium(Tb^(3+)) ions(AMP/Tb CPNSs). The as-prepared CPNSs were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and fluorescence techniques. Tb^(3+) acts as the center ion of the coordination polymer, with AMP assembled through phosphate and amine groups. However, the reaction between FQs and AMP/Tb CPNSs noticeably turns on the fluorescence due to the strong coordination interaction between FQs and Tb^(3+). Under optimized conditions, the fluorescence intensity of AMP/Tb at 545 nm shows a linear relationship with FQ concentrations between 0.04 μmol/L and 5.0 μmol/L. The relative standard deviation(RSD) of the intraday precision is below 1%, and detection limits are as low as 0.01 μmol/L. | 16 | PpTCP18 is upregulated by lncRNA5 and controls branch number in peach (Prunus persica) through positive feedback regulation of strigolactone biosynthesis显示文摘Branch number is an important agronomic trait in peach(Prunus persica)trees because plant architecture affects fruit yield and quality.Although breeders can select varieties with different tree architecture,the biological mechanisms underlying architecture remain largely unclear.In this study,a pillar peach(‘Zhaoshouhong’)and a standard peach(‘Okubo’)were compared.‘Zhaoshouhong’was found to have significantly fewer secondary branches than‘Okubo’.Treatment with the synthetic strigolactone(SL)GR24 decreased branch number.Transcriptome analysis indicated that PpTCP18(a homologous gene of Arabidopsis thaliana BRC1)expression was negatively correlated with strigolactone synthesis gene expression,indicating that PpTCP18 may play an important role in peach branching.Yeast one-hybrid,electrophoretic mobility shift,dual-luciferase assays and PpTCP18-knockdown in peach leaf buds indicated that PpTCP18 could increase expression of PpLBO1,PpMAX1,and PpMAX4.Furthermore,transgenic Arabidopsis plants overexpressing PpTCP18 clearly exhibited reduced primary rosette-leaf branches.Moreover,lncRNA sequencing and transient expression analysis revealed that lncRNA5 targeted PpTCP18,significantly increasing PpTCP18 expression.These results provide insights into the mRNA and lncRNA network in the peach SL signaling pathway and indicate that PpTCP18,a transcription factor downstream of SL signaling,is involved in positive feedback regulation of SL biosynthesis.This role of PpTCP18 may represent a novel mechanism in peach branching regulation.Our study improves current understanding of the mechanisms underlying peach branching and provides theoretical support for genetic improvement of peach tree architecture. | Xiaobei Wang Qiuping Wang Lixia Yan Yuhang Hao Xiaodong Lian Haipeng Zhang Xianbo Zheng Jun Cheng Wei Wang Langlang Zhang Xia Ye Jidong Li Bin Tan Jiancan Feng | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,1: | 2 |
| 17 | Detection of Asymptomatic Carotid Artery Stenosis in High-Risk Individuals of Stroke Using a Machine-Learning Algorithm显示文摘Objective Asymptomatic carotid stenosis(ACS)is closely associated to the incidence of severe cerebrovascular diseases.Early identifying the individuals with ACS and its associated risk factors could be beneficial for primary prevention of stroke.This study aimed to investigate a machine-learning algorithm for the detection of ACS among high-risk population of stroke based on the associated risk factors.Methods A novel model of machine learning was utilized to screen the associated predictors of ACS based on 30 potential risk factors.The algorithm of this model adopted a random forest pattern based on the training data and then was verified using the testing data.All of the original data were retrieved from the China National Stroke Screening and Prevention Project(CNSSPP),including demographic,clinical and laboratory characteristics.The individuals with high risk of stroke were enrolled and randomly divided into a training group and a testing group at a ratio of 4:1.The identification of carotid stenosis by carotid artery duplex scans was set as the golden standard.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and the area under the curve(AUC)was used to evaluate the efficacy of the model in detecting ACS.Results Of 2841 high risk individual of stroke enrolled,326(11.6%)were diagnosed as ACS by ultrasonography.The top five risk fectors contributing to ACS in this model were identified as family history of dyslipidemia,high level of lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-c),low level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-c),aging,and low body. | Junxiong Yin Cheng Yu Lixia Wei Chuanyong Yu Hongxing Liu Mingyang Du Feng Sun Chongjun Wang Xiaoshan Wang | 2020 | Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2020,35,4: | 2 |
