| 1 | LOW-POWER LVDS I/O INTERFACE FOR ABOVE 2GB/S-PER-PIN OPERATION显示文摘Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) has become a popular choice for high-speed serial links to conquer the bandwidth bottleneck of intra-chip data transmission. This paper presents the design and the implementation of LVDS Input/Output (I/O) interface circuits in a standard 0.18 μm CMOS technology using thick gate oxide devices (3.3 V), fully compatible with LVDS standard. In the proposed transmitter, a novel Common-Mode FeedBack (CMFB)circuit is utilized to keep the common-mode output voltage stable over Process, supply Voltage and Temperature (PVT) variations. Because there are no area greedy resistors in the CMFB circuitry, the disadvantage of large die area in existing transmitter structures is avoided. To obtain sufficient gain, the receiver consists of three am- plifying stages: a voltage amplifying stage, a transconductance amplifying stage, and a transimpedance amplifying stage. And to exclude inner nodes with high RC time constant, shunt-shunt negative feedback is introduced in the receiver. A novel active inductor shunt peaking structure is used in the receiver to fulfill the stringent requirements of high speed and wide Common-Mode Input Region (CMIR) without voltage gain, power dissipation and silicon area penalty. | 2 | Simultaneous recovery of rare earth elements and phosphorus from phosphate rock by phosphoric acid leaching and selective precipitation:Towards green process显示文摘Phosphate rock has been considered as one of the potential promising resources for rare earth elements(REEs). But the cost issues and the technical challenges caused by the low content of REEs in ores did hinder the further development of REEs recovery technologies. In order to explore a green process for the recovery of REEs from phosphate rock, this study investigates the effects of phosphoric acid concentration, liquid-to-solid ratio(L/S ratio), leaching time and temperature on the leaching efficiencies of the major components from phosphate rock. A REEs recovery of 94.3% and a phosphorus recovery of 95.3%are achieved under the optimal conditions of attacking phosphate rock using 30%P_2 O_5 acid with an L/S ratio of 10:1 and a stirring speed of 250 r/min at 25 ℃ for 4 h. Then,the selective precipitation of REEs with 81.3% REEs recovery is realized by heating up the leaching solution from 25 to 90 ℃ and keeping for4 h. Thereafter, more than 95% phosphoric acid is recovered by H_2 SO_4 and high purity gypsum, more than95% CaSO_4(tested by XRF), is also produced at the same time. Ultimately, a green process that leaches phosphate rock with H_3 PO_4, selectively precipitates REEs from leaching solution by heating up, recovers H_3 PO_4 with H2 SO4 is proposed. | 5 | One-step laser induced conversion of a gelatin-coated polyimide film into graphene:Tunable morphology,surface wettability and microsupercapacitor applications显示文摘Latest advances have witnessed the laser induction process on polyimide(PI)films for the formation of porous graphene.Herein,a fully converted graphene film was prepared by Nd:YAG laser scribing a gelatin coated PI film.It was found that the gelatin played the role of'shield'well in absorbing intense laser impact and benefit for the surface morphology modulation.Laser treatment lower than a critical fluence point of~4.00 J mm^(-2) contributed to a crater-like surface morphology due to the dispersed nature of Nd:YAG laser beam.By tuning laser fluence above the threshold,carbonized surface turned into continuous morphology.A fluid dynamics process accompanied by outgassing occurred during the carbonization,and the surface morphology gradually varied from stretched droplets to porous strips and finally to amorphous porous structures.The morphology evolution in combination with surface chemistry is responsible for the significant wettability transition from superhydrophobic to superhydrophilic,and a Janus superhydrophobic/superhydrophilic surface wettability was achieved under a laser fluence of~8.00 J mm^(-2).Eventually,microsupercapacitors(MSCs)were fabricated to show the great potential of our prepared graphene in flexible electronics. | WANG WenTao LU LongSheng XIE YingXi LI ZeHong WU WeiBin LIANG RongXuan TANG Yong | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,5: | 2 |

| 8 | An Improved Global Shutter Pixel with Extended Output Range and Linearity of Compensation for CMOS Image Sensor显示文摘An improved global shutter pixel structure with extended output range and linearity of compensation is proposed for CMOS image sensor. The potential switching of the sample and hold capacitor bottom plate outside the array is used to solve the problem of the serious swing limitation, which will attenuate the dynamic range of the image sensor. The non-linear problem caused by the substrate bias effect in the output process of the pixel source follower is solved by using the mirror FD point negative feedback self-establishment technology outside the array. The approach proposed in this paper has been verified in a global shutter CMOS image sensor with a scale of 1024×1024 pixels. The test results show that the output range is expanded from 0.95 V to 2 V, and the error introduced by the nonlinearity is sharply reduced from280 mV to 0.3 mV. Most importantly, the output range expansion circuit does not increase the additional pixel area and the power consumption. | 10 | An improved binocular localization method for apple based on fruit detection using deep learning显示文摘Apple picking robot is now being developed as an alternative to hand picking due to a great demand for labor during apple harvest season.Accurate detection and localization of target fruit is necessary for robotic apple picking.Detection accuracy has a great influence on localization results.Although current researches on detection and localization of apples using traditional image algorithms can obtain good results under laboratory conditions,it is difficult to accurately detect and locate objects in natural field with complex environments.With the rapid development of artificial intelligence,accuracy of apple detection based on deep learning has been significantly improved.Therefore,a deep learningbased method was developed to accurately detect and locate the position of fruit.For different localization methods,binocular localization is a widely used localization method for its bionic principle and lower equipment cost.Hence,this paper proposed an improved binocular localization method for apple based on fruit detection using deep learning.First,apples of binocular images were detected by Faster R-CNN.After that,a segmentation based on chromatic aberration and chromatic aberration ratio was applied to segment apple and background pixels in bounding box of detected fruit.Furthermore,template matching with parallel polar line constraint was used to match apples in left and right images.Finally,two feature points on apples were selected to directly calculate three dimensional coordinates of feature points with the binocular localization principle.In this study,Faster R-CNN achieved an AP of 88.12%with an average detection speed of 0.32 s for an image.Meanwhile,standard deviation and localization precision of depth of two feature points on each apple were calculated to evaluate localization.Results showed that the average standard deviation and the average localization precision of 76 groups of datasets were 0.51 cm and 99.64%,respectively.Results indicated that the proposed improved binocular localization method is promising for fruit localization。 | Tengfei Li Wentai Fang Guanao Zhao Fangfang Gao Zhenchao Wu Rui Li Longsheng Fu Jaspreet Dhupia | 2023 | Information Processing in Agriculture2023,10,2: | 1 |
| 11 | Analysis of single event transient pulse-width in 65 nm commercial radiation-hardened logic cell显示文摘With the critical charge reduced to generate a single event effect(SEE) and high working frequency for a nanometer integrated circuit,the single event effect(SET) becomes increasingly serious for high performance SOC and DSP chips.To analyze the radiation-hardened method of SET for the nanometer integrated circuit,the n^+ guard ring and p^+ guard ring have been adopted in the layout for a 65 nm commercial radiation-hardened standard cell library.The weakest driving capacity inverter cell was used to evaluate the single event transient(SET) pulse-width distribution.We employed a dual-lane measurement circuit to get more accurate SET'S pulsewidth.Six kinds of ions,which provide LETs of 12.5,22.5,32.5,42,63,and 79.5 MeV·cm^2/mg,respectively,have been utilized to irradiate the SET test circuit in the Beijing Tandem Accelerator Nuclear Physics National Laboratory.The testing results reveal that the pulse-width of most SETs is shorter than 400 ps in the range of LET_(eff) from 12.5 MeV·cm^2/mg to 79.5 MeV·cm^2/mg and the pulse-width presents saturation tendency when the effective linear energy transfer(LET_(eff)) value is larger than 40 MeV·cm^2/mg.The test results also show that the hardened commercial standard cell's pulse-width concentrates on 33 to 264 ps,which decreases by 40% compared to the pulse-width of the 65 nm commercial unhardened standard cell. | Haisong Li Longsheng Wu Bo Yang Yihu Jiang | 2017 | Journal of Semiconductors2017,38,8: | 1 |

| 14 | Fabrication of electrospun bilayer separators for lithium-sulfur batteries:A surface and structure dual modification strategy显示文摘The severe shuttle effect problem of soluble polysulfides greatly hinders the development of long-life lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries,which can be improved by separator modification.This study develops a bilayer separator based on an effective surface and structure dual modification strategy.This bilayer separator(named as TCNFs/SPNFs)is constructed by the integration of a carbon-based nanofiber layer(surface modification layer)with a polymer-based nanofiber layer(structure modification layer)through a facile electrospinning process.The excellent electrolyte wettability of the nanofibers accelerates lithium-ion migration,while the good electronic conductivity of the carbon layer facilitates fast electron conduction.The TiO_(2)and SiO_(2)nanoparticles embedded in the separator provide abundant active sites for immobilizing the polysulfides.Owing to these synergistic effects,this multi-functional separator helps inhibit the shuttling problem and thus enhances the active sulfur utilization.The as-prepared battery with the TCNFs/SPNFs separator delivers significantly enhanced the electrochemical performances,producing a low capacity decay rate of 0.061%per cycle at 1 C over 1000 cycles and an admirable rate capacity of 886.7 mAh g^(-1)at 2 C.Even with a high sulfur loading of 4.8 mg cm^(-2),a remarkable areal capacity of 6.0 mAh cm^(-2)is attained.This work is believed to provide a promising strategy to develop novel separators for high-performance Li-S batteries. | XU Ming ZHANG XiaoQing YUAN Wei HUANG HongLin WU YaoPeng WAN ZhenPing LU LongSheng TANG Yong | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,12: | 0 |

| 18 | Exploring the attenuation mechanisms of Dalbergia odorifera leaves extract on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion based on weighted gene co-expression network analysis显示文摘The attenuation function of Dalbergia odorifera leaves on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)is little known.The candidate targets for the Chinese herb were extracted from brain tissues through the high-affinity chromatography.The molecular mechanism of D.odorifera leaves on cerebral I/R was investigated.Methods:Serial affinity chromatography based on D.odorifera leaves extract(DLE)affinity matrices were applied to find specific binding proteins in the brain tissues implemented on C57BL/6 mice by intraluminal middle cerebral artery occlusion for 1 h and reperfusion for 24 h.Specific binding proteins were subjected to mass-spectrometry to search for the differentially expressed proteins between control and DLE-affinity matrices.The hub genes were screened based on weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA).Then,predictive biology and potential experimental verification were performed for the candidate genes.The protective role of DLE in blood-brain barrier damage in cerebral I/R mice was evaluated by the leakage of Evans blue,western blotting,immunohistochemistry,and immunofluorescent staining.Results:952 differentially expressed proteins were classified into seven modules based on WGCNA under soft threshold 6.Based on WGCNA,AKT1,PIK3CA,NOS3,SMAD3,SMAD1,IL6,MAPK1,TGFBR2,TGFBR1,MAPK3,IGF1R,LRG1,mTOR,ROCK1,TGFB1,IL1B,SMAD2,and SMAD518 candidate hub proteins were involved in turquoise module.TGF-β,MAPK,focal adhesion,and adherens junction signaling pathway were associated with candidate hub proteins.Gene ontology analysis demonstrated that candidate hub proteins were related to the TGF-βreceptor signaling pathway,common-partner SMAD protein phosphorylation,etc.DLE could significantly reduce the leakage of Evans blue in mice with cerebral I/R,while attenuating the expression of occludin,claudin-5,and zonula occludens-1.Western blotting demonstrated that regulation of TGF-β/SMAD signaling pathway played an essential role in the protective effect of DLE.Conclusion:Thus,a number of candidate hub proteins were identified based on DLE affinity chromatography through WGCNA.DLE could attenuate the dysfunction of bloodbrain barrier in the TGF-β/SMAD signaling pathway induced by cerebral I/R. | JINFANG HU JIANGEN AO LONGSHENG FU YAOQI WU FENG SHAO TIANTIAN XU MINGJIN JIANG SHAOFENG XIONG YANNI LV | 2023 | BIOCELL2023,47,7: | 0 |

| 20 | Precipitation-dissolution behaviors of rare earth ions in H_3PO_4-Ca(H_2PO_4)_2 solutions显示文摘In order to achieve deeper understanding of rare earth elements(REEs) behaviors during phosphate rock processing with H_3PO_4. The solubility of REEs in Ca(H_2PO_4)_2-H_3PO_4 solutions with various concentrations of Ca(H_2PO_4)_2 at different temperatures were tested. The results demonstrate that REEs solubility decreases sharply with the increasing concentration of Ca(H_2PO_4)_2. Equations between [REE^(3+)] and [H^+],[H^+] and [Ca^(2+)] in Ca(H_2PO_4)_2-H_3PO_4 solutions were built based on the precipitation-dissolution equilibrium of rare earth phosphates and the ionization equilibrium of H_3PO_4. According to the equations, the decreasing mechanism of REEs solubility caused by elevated concentration of Ca(H_2PO_4)_2 was determined. The mechanism can be illustrated as that the elevated concentration of [H_2 PO_4^-] decreases the concentration of hydrogen ion by retarding the ionization process of H_3PO_4 and directly promotes the precipitation of rare earth phosphates. Furthermore, it can be easy deduced that similar effect would be caused by the other cation impurities(Fe^(3+), Al^(3+), etc.) on REEs solubility based on the mechanism. In addition, superimposed reduction effect on REEs solubility caused by the elevated concentration of Ca(H_2PO_4)_2 and the elevated temperature is found. This superimposed effect leads to a super low solubility of REEs in Ca(H_2PO_4)_2-H_3PO_4 solution.
