| 1 | Sulfonate group modified Ni catalyst for highly efficient liquid-phase selective hydrogenation of bio-derived furfural显示文摘The liquid-phase furfural(FAL) hydrogenation to furfuryl alcohol(FOL) and tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol(THFOL) was investigated using sulfonate group(-SO3 H) grafted activated carbon(AC) supported Ni catalyst, which was prepared and activated simultaneously by liquid phase reduction method. This functionalized nickel catalyst demonstrated an enhanced catalytic performance for selective hydrogenation of FAL, in which almost 100% FOL(<80℃) and THFOL(>100℃) selectivity with complete conversion was obtained, respectively. More importantly, the conversion of transfer hydrogenation of FAL to FOL also can reach almost 100% under optimal conditions(140℃, 4.0 h). The effect of-SO3 H was evaluated and systematically analyzed by the combination of reaction performance and physico-chemical characterizations. | 3 | Geochemical and Nd-Hf Isotopic Constraints on the Petrogenesis of an Archean Granitoid in the Erguna Massif, NE China显示文摘Crystalline basement and Precambrian crustal growth of the continental massifs within the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB) are still pending problems. Our geological and geochemical investigations identified an Archean(2606 Ma) granitic pluton in the Biliya area of the Erguna Massif. The Neoarchean granitoids show high and positive in-situ zircon ε_(Ht)(t)(+0.3 to +10.0), whole-rock ε_(Nd)(t)(+4.8) and whole-rock ε_(Ht)(t) values(+2.1). They are characterized by high Y + Ce + Zr + Nb(> 220 ppm) and Zr contents and could be classified as A-type granites. These granitoids are characterized by high Zr saturation temperatures(T;)(796–836°C). They were derived from partial re-melting of juvenile mafic lower crust in an intracontinental back-arc extensional environment. | 5 | Fabricating Cationic Lignin Hydrogels for Dye Adsorption显示文摘Due to the low content of adsorption-active groups in lignin,its application in the field of adsorption is limited.Herein,we first prepared cationic kraft lignin acrylate,from which a cationic lignin(CKLA)hydrogel was further prepared by cationic kraft lignin acrylate,acrylamide,and N,N’-methylenebisacrylamide.The morphology,compression properties and swelling properties of CKLA hydrogels were investigated.The prepared CKLA hydrogel was applied as an adsorbent for Congo red.The effect of CKLA hydrogel dosages,initial concentration of Congo red,and pH on adsorption efficiency was investigated.The maximum Congo red removal efficiency was obtained at the initial concentration of Congo red of 50 mg/L,pH 7,and 5 mg dosage of CKLA hydrogel with 20%cationic lignin content.After five cycles of adsorption,the adsorption efficiency of the hydrogel for Congo red still reached more than 80%.The CKLA hydrogel showed pseudo-second-order adsorption kinetics for Congo red adsorption.These results demonstrate the potential of the CKLA hydrogel as an adsorbent for water treatment. | Chao Wang Xuezhen Feng Wanbing Li Shibin Shang Haibo Zhang | 2023 | Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,4: | 1 |

| 10 | Engineering active Ni-doped Co_(2)P catalyst for efficient electrooxidation coupled with hydrogen evolution显示文摘The thermodynamically favorable electrocatalytic oxidation coupled with hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is considered as a sustainable and promising technique.Nonetheless,it remains a great challenge due to the lack of simple,cheap,highefficient electrocatalysts.Here,we successfully develop a simple and scalable electro-deposition and subsequent phosphorization route to fabricate Ni-doped Co_(2)P(Ni-Co_(2)P)nanosheets catalyst using the in-situ released Ni species from defective Ni foam as metal source.Impressively,the as-synthesized Ni-Co_(2)P catalyst exhibits excellent electrochemical 5-hydroxymethylfurfural oxidation reaction(HOR)performance with>99%2,5-furandicarboxylic acid yield and>97%Faradaic efficiency at an ultralow potential of 1.29 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE).Experimental characterization and theoretical calculation reveal that the atomically doped Ni species can enhance the adsorption of reactant and thus lower the reaction energy barriers.By coupling the electrocatalytic HOR with HER,the employed two-electrode system using Ni-Co_(2)P and commercial Ni foam as anode and cathode,respectively,exhibits a low cell voltage of 1.53 V to drive a current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2),which is 90 mV lower than that of pure water splitting.This work provides a facile and efficient approach for the preparation of high-performance earth-abundant electrocatalysts toward the concurrent production of H_(2)and value-added chemicals. | Jiayi Li Xin Mao Wanbing Gong Xinyu Wang Yawen Jiang Ran Long Aijun Du Yujie Xiong | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,5: | 0 |
| 11 | E674Q(Shanghai APP mutant),a novel amyloid precursor protein mutation,in familial late-onset Alzheimer's disease显示文摘Identified as the pathogenic genes of Alzheimer's disease(AD),APP,PSEN1,and PSEN2 mainly lead to early-onset AD,whose course is more aggressive,and atypical symptoms are more common than sporadic AD.Here,a novel missense mutation,APP E674Q(also named“Shanghai APP”),was detected in a Chinese index patient with typical late-onset AD(LOAD)who developed memory decline in his mid-70s.The results from neuroimaging were consistent with AD,where widespread amyloidβdeposition was demonstrated in 18 F-florbetapir Positron Emission Tomography(PET).APP E674Q is close to theβ-secretase cleavage site and the well-studied Swedish APP mutation(KM670/671NL),which was predicted to be pathogenic in silico.Molecular dynamics simulation indicated that the E674Q mutation resulted in a rearrangement of the interaction mode between APP and BACE1 and that the E674Q mutation was more prone to cleavage by BACE1.The in vitro results suggested that the E674Q mutation was pathogenic by facilitating the BACE1-mediated processing of APP and the production of Aβ.Furthermore,we applied an adeno-associated virus(AAV)-mediated transfer of the human E674Q mutant APP gene to the hippocampi of two-month-old C57Bl/6 J mice.AAV-E674Q-injected mice exhibited impaired learning behavior and increased pathological burden in the brain,implying that the E674Q mutation had a pathogenicity that bore a comparison with the classical Swedish mutation.Collectively,we report a strong amyloidogenic effect of the E674Q substitution in AD.To our knowledge,E674Q is the only pathogenic mutation within the amyloid processing sequence causing LOAD. | Yongfang Zhang Xinyi Xie Boyu Chen Lina Pan Jianping Li Wanbing Wang Jintao Wang Ran Tang Qiang Huang Xiaofen Chen Rujing Ren Zhentao Zhang Wei Fu Gang Wang | 2024 | Genes & Diseases2024,11,2: | 0 |
