| 1 | Low complexity method for spreading sequence estimation of DSSS signal in non-cooperative communication systems显示文摘It is a necessary step to estimate the spreading sequence of direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) signal for blind despreading and demodulation in non-cooperative communications. Two innovative and effective detection statistics are proposed to implement the synchronization and spreading sequence estimation procedure. The proposed algorithm also has a low computational complexity with only linear additions and modifications. | 2 | Wide band modeling of large power transformer windings for very fast transient overvoltage (VFTO) analysis显示文摘There are some difficulties in using multi-transmission-line (MTL) model for wide band modeling of whole windings of the large power transformer. In this paper, the normalized MTL model is firstly de- rived, with which not only the difficulty of modeling windings with different turn-lengths using MTL can be solved, but also the model can be extended to the modeling of the multi-winding transformer. Secondly, both MTL model and the lumped circuit model on turn basis are mathematically compared in validation of the frequency range and it is pointed out that the lumped circuit model on turn basis is generally valid below 2.5 MHz for EHV and UHV power transformers. | 16 | A dynamic phasor estimation algorithm based on angle-shifted energy operator显示文摘Under dynamic conditions, the signals of power system have time-varying magnitude and frequency, which might lead to considerable errors for synchrophasor measurement. The traditional discrete Fourier transform (DFT) based algorithms used in Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) are hard to meet the requirements of measurement accuracy because of the existence of spectral leakage. A dynamic phasor measurement algorithm is proposed in this paper in which the input sampled data are considered as non-stationary signals with amplitude modulation-frequency modulation (AM-FM) form, and the measurement is achieved by AM-FM demodulation. An angle-shifted energy operator (ASEO) is used to extract the instantaneous amplitude and low pass differential filter is introduced for frequency estimation.
