| 1 | High-performance Zn battery with transition metal ions co-regulated electrolytic MnO_(2)显示文摘Electrolytic MnO_(2)/Zn batteries have attracted extensive attention for use in large-scale energy storage applications due to their low cost,high output voltage,safety,and environmental friendliness.However,the poor electrical conductivity of MnO_(2)limits its deposition and dissolution at large capacities,which leads to sluggish reaction kinetics and drastic capacity decay.Here,we report a theory-guided design principle for an electrolytic MnO_(2)/Zn battery co-regulated with transition metal ions that has improved electrochemical performance in terms of deposition and stripping chemistries.We start with first-principles calculations to predict the electrolytic effects of regulating transition metal ions in the deposition/stripping chemistry of the MnO_(2)cathode.The results indicate that with the simultaneous incorporation of strongly electronegative Co and Ni,the MnO_(2)cathode tends to possess more active electron states,faster charge-transfer kinetics,and better electrical conductivity than either MnO_(2)regulated with Co or Ni on their own,or pristine MnO_(2);hence,this co-regulation is beneficial for the cathode solid/liquid MnO_(2)/Mn2t reactions.We then fabricate and demonstrate a novel Co2t and Ni2t coregulated MnO_(2)/Zn(Co-Ni-MnO_(2)/Zn)battery that yields significantly better electrochemical performance,finding that the synergistic regulation of Co and Ni on MnO_(2)can significantly increase its intrinsic conductivity and achieve high rates and Coulombic efficiencies at large capacities.The aqueous Co-Ni-MnO_(2)/Zn battery exhibits a high rate(10C,100 mA cm^(-2)),high Coulombic efficiency(91.89%),and excellent cycling stability(600 cycles without decay)at a large areal capacity of 10 mAh cm^(-2).Our proposed strategy of co-regulation with transition metal ions offers a versatile approach for improving the electrochemical performance of aqueous electrolytic MnO_(2)/Zn batteries in large-scale energy storage applications. | Mingyan Chuai Jinlong Yang Mingming Wang Yuan Yuan Zaichun Liu Yan Xu Yichen Yin Jifei Sun Xinhua Zheng Na Chen Wei Chen | 2021 | eScience2021,1,2: | 8 |

| 3 | A New Efficient Certificate-Based Signature Scheme显示文摘Certificate-based cryptography is a new kind of public key algorithm, which combines the merits of traditional Public key infrastructure(PKI) and identitybased cryptography. It removes the inherent key escrow problem in the identity-based cryptography and eliminates the certificate revocation problem and third-party queries in the traditional PKI. In this paper, we propose an efficient certificate-based signature scheme based on bilinear pairings. Under the strong security model of certificatebased signature scheme, we prove that our scheme is existentially unforgeable against adaptive chosen message and identity attacks in the random oracle. In our scheme, only two pairing operations are needed in the signing and verification processes. | 5 | Diurnal and Seasonal Variations of Thermal Stratification and Vertical Mixing in a Shallow Fresh Water Lake显示文摘Among several influential factors, the geographical position and depth of a lake determine its thermal structure. In temperate zones, shallow lakes show significant differences in thermal stratification compared to deep lakes. Here,the variation in thermal stratification in Lake Taihu, a shallow fresh water lake, is studied systematically. Lake Taihu is a warm polymictic lake whose thermal stratification varies in short cycles of one day to a few days. The thermal stratification in Lake Taihu has shallow depths in the upper region and a large amplitude in the temperature gradient,the maximum of which exceeds 5°C m–1. The water temperature in the entire layer changes in a relatively consistent manner. Therefore, compared to a deep lake at similar latitude, the thermal stratification in Lake Taihu exhibits small seasonal differences, but the wide variation in the short term becomes important. Shallow polymictic lakes share the characteristic of diurnal mixing. Prominent differences on the duration and frequency of long-lasting thermal stratification are found in these lakes, which may result from the differences of local climate, lake depth, and fetch. A prominent response of thermal stratification to weather conditions is found, being controlled by the stratifying effect of solar radiation and the mixing effect of wind disturbance. Other than the diurnal stratification and convection, the representative responses of thermal stratification to these two factors with contrary effects are also discussed. When solar radiation increases, stronger wind is required to prevent the lake from becoming stratified. A daily average wind speed greater than 6 m s–1 can maintain the mixed state in Lake Taihu. Moreover, wind-induced convection is detected during thermal stratification. Due to lack of solar radiation, convection occurs more easily in nighttime than in daytime. Based on a nested logit model, the selection probability for each factor in a generalized comfort function can be estimated using a nested structure. A certain factor is considered to be more significant in a generalized comfort function than others, when the corresponding probability of this factor is higher in value. | 12 | Fabrication of highly efficient Bi2WO6/CuS composite for visible-light photocatalytic removal of organic pollutants and Cr(VI)from wastewater显示文摘A visible-light-driven Bi_(2)WO_(6)/CuS p-n heterojunction was fabricated using an easy solvothermal method.The Bi_(2)WO_(6)/CuS exhibited high photocatalytic activity in a mixed system containing rhodamine B(RhB),tetracycline hydrochloride(TCH),and Cr(VI)under natural conditions.Approximately 98.8%of the RhB(10 mg/L),87.6%of the TCH(10 mg/L)and 95.1%of the Cr(VI)(15 mg/L)were simultaneously removed from a mixed solution within 105 min.The removal efficiencies of TCH and Cr(VI)increased by 12.9%and 20.4%,respectively,in the mixed solution,compared with the single solutions.This is mainly ascribed to the simultaneous consumption electrons and holes,which increases the amount of excited electrons/holes and enhances the separation efficiency of photogenerated electrons and holes.Bi_(2)WO_(6)/CuS can be applied over a wide pH range(2–6)with strong photocatalytic activity for RhB,TCH and Cr(VI).Coexisiting dissolved organic matter in the solution significantly promoted the removal of TCH(from 74.7%to 87.2%)and Cr(VI)(from 75.7%to 99.9%)because it accelerated the separation of electrons and holes by consuming holes as an electron acceptor.Removal mechanisms of RhB,TCH,and Cr(VI)were proposed,Bi_(2)WO_(6)/CuS was formed into a p-n heterojunction to efficiently separate and transfer photoelectrons and holes so as to drive photocatalytic reactions.Specifically,when reducing pollutants(e.g.,TCH)and oxidizing pollutants(e.g.,Cr(VI))coexist in wastewater,the p-n heterojunction in Bi_(2)WO_(6)/CuS acts as a“bridge”to shorten the electron transport and thus simultaneously increase the removal efficiencies of both types of pollutants. | Wei Mao Lixun Zhang Tianye Wang Yichen Bai Yuntao Guan | 2021 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,4: | 1 |

| 16 | Disability-adjusted life years and the trends of the burden of colorectal cancer:a population-based study in Shanghai,China during 2002 to 2016显示文摘Background:Colorectal cancer(CRC)still ranks the top in morbidity and mortality of cancers worldwide,posing a huge threat and burden to the society.We aimed to determine the age-standardized incidence,mortality,and disability-adjusted life years(DALYs)of CRC and explore potential changes in the temporal trends of the CRC burden in Shanghai during 2002 to 2016.Methods:The cancer statistics and demographics were obtained from the Cancer Registry and the Statistics Bureau of Pudong New Area,respectively.Data from 2002 to 2016 were included and analyzed retrospectively.DALYs were calculated using DisMod and the age-standardized rates(ASRs)were obtained according to Segi world standard population.Joinpoint regression was used to measure the trends in CRC incidence and to estimate the annual percent change.Results:The increasing trend of CRC ASR incidence halted after 2014,coinciding with the introduction of the Shanghai CRC screening program.The ASRs of mortality and DALYs increased,at 0.42%(P<0.05)and 4.07%(P<0.001)per year,respectively,which were mainly driven by men and individuals aged above the CRC screening program target.Conclusions:The disease burden of CRC in Shanghai remains serious,especially among men,and individuals aged>74 years.The benefits of the screening program have been partially proven by the ASRs of CRC incidence,providing important insights into better and wider application of screening programs. | Wei Zhong Liping Chen Xiaopan Li Yichen Chen Yao Zhang Canjie Guo Yufeng Shen Huimin Chen | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,24: | 1 |

| 20 | TNFR2 is a potent prognostic biomarker for post-transplant lung metastasis in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Objective:Lung metastasis is a common and fatal complication of liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).The precise prediction of post-transplant lung metastasis in the early phase is of great value.Methods:The mRNA profiles of primary and paired lung metastatic lesions were analyzed to determine key signaling pathways.We enrolled 241 HCC patients who underwent liver transplantation from three centers.Tissue microarrays were used to evaluate the prognostic capacity of tumor necrosis factor(TNF),tumor necrosis factor receptor 1(TNFR1),and TNFR2,particularly for post-transplant lung metastasis.Results:Comparison of primary and lung metastatic lesions revealed that the TNF-dependent signaling pathway was related to lung metastasis of HCC.The expression of TNF was degraded in comparison to that in para-tumor tissues(P<0.001).The expression of key receptors in the TNF-dependent signaling pathway,TNFR1 and TNFR2,was higher in HCC tissues than in para-tumor tissues(P<0.001).TNF and TNFR1 showed no relationship with patients’outcomes,whereas elevated TNFR2 in tumor tissue was significantly associated with worse overall survival(OS)and increased recurrence risk(5-year OS rate:31.9%vs.62.5%,P<0.001).Notably,elevated TNFR2 levels were also associated with an increased risk of post-transplant lung metastasis(hazard ratio:1.146;P<0.001).Cox regression analysis revealed that TNFR2,Hangzhou criteria,age,and hepatitis B surface antigen were independent risk factors for post-transplant lung metastasis,and a novel nomogram was established accordingly.The nomogram achieved excellent prognostic efficiency(area under time-dependent receiver operating characteristic=0.755,concordance-index=0.779)and was superior to conventional models,such as the Milan criteria.Conclusions:TNFR2 is a potent prognostic biomarker for predicting post-transplant lung metastasis in patients with HCC.A nomogram incorporating TNFR2 deserves to be a helpful prognostic tool in liver transplantation for HCC. | Huigang Li Zuyuan Lin Jianyong Zhuo Modan Yang Wei Shen Zhihang Hu Yichen Ding Hao Chen Chiyu He Xinyu Yang Siyi Dong Xuyong Wei Beicheng Sun Shusen Zheng Ren Lang Di Lu Xiao Xu | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2023,35,1: | 0 |
