| 3 | Two-Step Preparation of Hierarchical Porous Carbon Materials Derived from Tannin for Use as an Electrode Material for Supercapacitors显示文摘The development and utilization of biomass and agroforestry processing byproducts for high-value applications have been an important topic in the field of renewable materials research.Based on this,a two-step microwave hydrothermal pre-carbonization and KOH activation method was proposed to synthesize tannin-based activated carbons with a high specific surface area, hierarchical pore structure, and good electrochemical performance. The microstructure, texture properties, and physicochemical characteristics were investigated. The results show that the prepared tannin-based activated carbons presented a hierarchical pore structure(micro-and mesopores)with a specific surface area as high as 997.46 m^(3) g^(−1).The electrochemical analysis shows that the tannin-based activated carbons have good wettability and charge transfer rates.Under the three-electrode system with 6 M KOH as the electrolyte, the active material TAC_(600-4) had a maximum specific capacitance of 171 F g^(−1)at 0.5 A g^(−1).As the current density increases to 10 A g^(−1),the specific capacitance can still be maintained at 149 F g^(−1),indicating a good rate capability. Therefore, the specific surface area and pore size of tannin-based activated carbons can be effectively adjusted by the alkali/carbon ratio, making it a promising supercapacitor electrode material and providing a new method for the high-value development of tannins in the field of electrochemical energy storage. | Jianping Deng Qianqian Zhang Yuling Lan Lingcong Luo Zimin Dai Zhonghang Lin Zhixin Lu Jiancheng Yuan Yiqi Fu Lu Luo Weigang Zhao | 2023 | Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,6: | 0 |
| 4 | Edge preparation methods for cutting tools:a review显示文摘Edge preparation can remove cutting edge defects, such as burrs, chippings, and grinding marks, generated in the grinding process and improve the cutting performance and service life of tools.Various edge preparation methods have been proposed for different tool matrix materials, geometries, and application requirements. This study presents a scientific and systematic review of the development of tool edge preparation technology and provides ideas for its future development.First, typical edge characterization methods, which associate the microgeometric characteristics of the cutting edge with cutting performance, are briefly introduced. Then, edge preparation methods for cutting tools,in which materials at the cutting edge area are removed to decrease defects and obtain a suitable microgeometry of the cutting edge for machining, are discussed.New edge preparation methods are explored on the basis of existing processing technologies, and the principles, advantages, and limitations of these methods are systematically summarized and analyzed.Edge preparation methods are classified into two categories:mechanical processing methods and nontraditional processing methods. These methods are compared from the aspects of edge consistency, surface quality, efficiency, processing difficulty, machining cost, and general availability. In this manner,a more intuitive understanding of the characteristics can be gained. Finally, the future development direction of tool edge preparation technology is prospected. | Yu ZHOU Wei FANG Lanying SHAO Yanfei DAI Jiahuan WANG Xu WANG Julong YUAN Weigang GUO Binghai LYU | 2023 | Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2023,18,4: | 0 |
| 5 | Catalytic Conversion of C_(1) Molecules on Atomically Precise Metal Nanoclusters显示文摘Metal nanoclusters with accurate compositions and precise crystalline structures hold remarkable attention in serving as a unique model catalyst for well-defined correlations between structure and catalytic activity.More importantly, these metal nanoclusters exhibit strong quantum confinement effects, which differ from their larger nanoparticles in a number of catalytic reactions. This review focuses on recent advances of atomically precise metal nanoclusters for C_(1) compound conversion(C_(O),CO_(2),CH_(4),and HCOOH),including thermally-driven catalysis, photocatalysis, and electrocatalysis. The reaction mechanisms are discussed at an atomic-or even electron-level.It is anticipated that the progress in this research area could be extended to catalytic applications of metal nanoclusters in C_(1) chemistry. | Dan Yang Yongnan Sun Xiao Cai Weigang Hu Yihu Dai Yan Zhu Yanhui Yang | 2022 | CCS Chemistry2022,4,1: | 0 |
| 6 | 香菇引起的小肠梗阻两例报道显示文摘The shiitake mushroom(Lentinula edodes),known as Xiang-gu in China, has been an important component of Asian cuisine for hundreds of years.Although not easily digestible, there are few reports of them causing bowel obstruction. We present two cases of small bowel obstruction due to a shiitake mushroomrequiring surgical intervention. Two patients who did not have any teeth and did not use dentures presented with intestinal bowel obstruction and were referred to the Emergency Department of our hospital after eating a meal including shiitake mushrooms without cutting. The first patient underwent an emergency laparotomy and a semental small bowel resection and the other underwent laparoscopic small bowel incision for removal of a foreign body. The causes of the small bowel obstruction for the two patients were uncut shiitake mushrooms in the small bowel. The two patients recovered uneventfully post-operatively. | Jinfu Tan Kaitao Yuan Jidong Zuo Weigang Dai Yujie Yuan Weidong Feng Min Tan Jinping Ma | 2019 | Gastroenterology Report2019,7,4: | 0 |
