1pH-sensitive polymeric micelles triggered drug release for extracellular and intracellular drug targeting delivery显示文摘Most of the conventional chemotherapeutic agents used for cancer chemotherapy suffer from multidrug resistance of tumor cells and poor antitumor efficacy.Based on physiological differences between the normal tissue and the tumor tissue,one effective approach to improve the efficacy of cancer chemotherapy is to develop pH-sensitive polymeric micellar delivery systems.The copolymers with reversible protonationedeprotonation core units or acid-liable bonds between the therapeutic agents and the micelle-forming copolymers can be used to form pH-sensitive polymeric micelles for extracellular and intracellular drug smart release.These systems can be triggered to release drug in response to the slightly acidic extracellular fluids of tumor tissue after accumulation in tumor tissues via the enhanced permeability and retention effect,or they can be triggered to release drug in endosomes or lysosomes by pH-controlled micelle hydrolysis or dissociation after uptake by cells via the endocytic pathway.The pH-sensitive micelles have been proved the specific tumor cell targeting,enhanced cellular internalization,rapid drug release,and multidrug resistance reversal.The multifunctional polymeric micelles combining extracellular pH-sensitivity with receptor-mediated active targeting strategies are of great interest for enhanced tumor targeting.The micelles with receptor-mediated and intracellular pH targeting functions are internalized via receptor-mediated endocytosis followed by endosomal-pH triggered drug release inside the cells,which reverses multidrug resistance.The pH sensitivity strategy of the polymeric micelles facilitates the specific drug delivery with reduced systemic side effects and improved chemotherapeutical efficacy,and is a novel promising platform for tumor-targeting drug delivery.Yanhua Liu Wenping Wang Jianhong Yang Chengming Zhou Jin Sun 2013Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2013,8,3:11

4Structural control of silica aerogel fibers for methylene blue removal显示文摘The development of efficient adsorbents is significant for the miniaturization and cost reduction of water purifying facility. In our previous study, a new kind of silica aerogel fibers(SAFs) with hierarchical structure and hollow structure were developed, which shows outstanding mass transport property and adsorption performance. Herein, we further control and study the hierarchical structure and hollow structure of silica aerogel fibers by changing the sulfuric acid concentration of ageing bath and spinning speed. For removing methylene blue, A0 W120 SAFs sample, with DI water as ageing bath and a winding speed of 120 mm/s,presents the best mass transport property and adsorption performance, as they possess larger pore sizes in the outer layer, thinner fiber wall and higher degree of hollowness. 5Numerical simulation of sedimentation of rectangular particle in Newtonian fluid显示文摘The sedimentation of a rectangular particle falling in a two-dimensional channel filled with Newtonian fluid was simulated with finite element arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian domain method. The numerical procedure was validated by comparison of the simulation results with existing numerical work. Moreover, good agreement was obtained between the simulation results and experimental measurements performed in the current study. The equilibrium position, stable orientation and drag coefficient of a rect- angular particle for different particle Reynolds numbers (Re p ) were studied. The results show that there is a critical particle Reynolds number for the preferred orientation of a rectangular particle falling in a Newtonian fluid. When Re p is smaller than the critical value, the particle falls with its long side parallel to gravity; otherwise the particle falls with its long side perpendicular to gravity. The critical particle Reynolds number is a decreasing function of the blockage ratio and aspect ratio. The distributions of pressure and shear stress on rectangular particle surface were analyzed. 6The development of a sensitive fluorescent protein-based transcript reporter for high throughput screening of negative modulators of lncRNAs显示文摘While the human genome is pervasively transcribed,<2%of the human genome is transcribed into protein-coding mRNAs,leaving most of the transcripts as noncoding RNAs,such as microRNAs and long-noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs),which are critical components of epigenetic regulation.lncRNAs are emerging as critical regulators of gene expression and genomic stability.However,it remains largely unknown about how lncRNAs are regulated.Here,we develop a highly sensitive and dynamic reporter that allows us to identify and/or monitor negative modulators of lncRNA transcript levels in a high throughput fashion.Specifically,we engineer a fluorescent fusion protein by fusing three copies of the PEST destruction domain of mouse ornithine decarboxylase(MODC)to the C-terminal end of the codon-optimized bilirubin-inducible fluorescent protein,designated as dBiFP,and show that the dBiFP protein is highly destabilized,compared with the commonly-used eGFP protein.We further demonstrate that the dBiFP signal is effectively down-regulated when the dBiFP and mouse lncRNA H19 chimeric transcript is silenced by mouse H19-specific siRNAs.Therefore,our results strongly suggest that the dBiFP fusion protein may serve as a sensitive and dynamic transcript reporter to monitor the inhibition of lncRNAs by microRNAs,synthetic regulatory RNA molecules,RNA binding proteins,and/or small molecule inhibitors so that novel and efficacious inhibitors targeting the epigenetic circuit can be discovered to treat human diseases such as cancer and other chronic disorders.Zongyue Zeng Bo Huang Shifeng Huang Ruyi Zhang Shujuan Yan Xinyi Yu Yi Shu Chen Zhao Jiayan Lei Wenwen Zhang Chao Yang Ke Wu Ying Wu Liping An Xiaojuan Ji Cheng Gong Chengfu Yuan Linghuan Zhang Wei Liu Yixiao Feng Bo Zhang Zhengyu Dai Yi Shen Xi Wang Wenping Luo Rex C.Haydon Hue H.Luu Lan Zhou Russell R.Reid Tong-Chuan He Xingye Wu 2018Genes & Diseases2018,5,1:4
7Molecular-scale integrated multi-functions for organic lightemitting transistors显示文摘Organic light-mitting transistors(OLETs)integrate the functions of light-emitting diodes and field-effect transistors into a unique device,opening a new door for optoelectronics.However,there is still a challenge due to the absence of high quality organic semiconductors for OLETs.Herein,we reported a novel molecule 2,6-di(anthracen-2-yl)naphthalene(2,6-DAN),which exhibited mobility of up to 19 cm2:V'-s'and an absolute fluorescence quantum yield of 37.09%,which are good values for organic semiconductors.Moreover,OLETs based on 2,6-DAN single crystals showed bright yellowish-green emission and well-balanced ambipolar charge transport.The excellent ratio of hole to electron mobilty can reach up to 0.86,which is superior to most single component OL ETs in typical device configurations reported so far.Lei Zheng Jinfeng Li Ke Zhou Xixia Yu Xiaotao Zhang Huanli Dong Wenping Hu 2020Nano Research2020,13,7:4

9Enhanced Hole-Injection Property in an OLED with a Self-assembled Monolayer of Hole-Transporting TPD on Thin Au as the Anode显示文摘A thioester-functionalized triphenylamine hole-transporting molecule(TPD-SAc) was synthesized and self-assembled to form a monolayer on an ultra-thin Au film supported on indium-tin oxide glass. The modified surface was characterized by aqueous contact angle, ellipsometer, atomic force microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and ultraviolet photoelectron spectrometer to substantiate the formation of compact and pinhole-free monolayers. The modified organic light emitting diode device [indium-tin oxide/Au(5 nm)/self-assembled monolayers(SAM)/TPD(50 nm)/Alq_3(40 nm)/TPBI(15 nm)/LiF(1 nm)/Al(100 nm)] showed a luminance of 7303.90 cd/m^2 and a current efficiency of 8.49 cd/A with 1.78 and 2.29-fold increase, respectively, compared to the control device without SAM. 10Aggf1 attenuates hepatic inflammation and activation of hepatic stellate cells by repressing Ccl2 transcription显示文摘Liver injury represents a continuum of pathophysiological processes involving a complex interplay between hepatocytes, macrophages, and hepatic stellate cells. The mechanism whereby these intercellular interactions contribute to liver injury and fibrosis is not completely understood. We report here that angiogenic factor with G patch and FHA domains 1(Aggfl) was downregulated in the livers of cirrhotic patients compared to healthy controls and in primary hepatocytes in response to carbon tetrachloride(CC14) stimulation. Overexpression of Aggfl attenuated macrophage chemotaxis. Aggfl interacted with NF-κB to block its binding to the Ccl2 gene promoter and repressed Ccl2 transcription in hepatocytes. Macrophages cultured in the conditioned media collected from Aggfloverexpressing hepatocytes antagonized HSC activation. 11Ultrathin Ni_(x)Co_(y)-silicate nanosheets natively anchored on CNTs films for flexible lithium ion batteries显示文摘The rapid development of portable and wearable electronics has called for novel flexible electrodes with superior performance.The development of flexible electrode materials with excellent mechanical and electrochemical properties has become one of the key factors for this goal.Here,a Ni_(x)Co_(y)-silicate@CNTs film is developed as a flexible anode for lithium ion batteries(LIBs).On this film,Ni_(x)Co_(y)-silicate nanosheets are firmly and intimately anchored on the surface of CNTs,which have a 3D network structure and link the adjacent nanosheets together.Benefitted from this,the composite film is not only sufficient to withstand various deformations due to its excellent flexibility but also has excellent electrochemical properties,in terms of high reversible capacity of 1047 mAh g^(-1) at 0.1 A g^(-1) as well as a high rate and cycling performance(capacity retention up to 78.13% after 140 cycles).The pouch-type full flexible LIB using this material can stably operate under various bending conditions,showing the great potential of this 3 D Ni_(x)Co_(y)-silicate@CNTs film for flexible energy storage devices with high durability.Wenlei Guo Wenping Si Tao Zhang Yonghuan Han Lei Wang Ziyue Zhou Pengyi Lu Feng Hou Ji Liang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:2
12Homeobox B8 Targets Sterile Alpha Motif Domain-Containing Protein 9 and Drives Glioma Progression显示文摘Gliomas are the most commonly occurring tumors of the central nervous system. Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most malignant and aggressive brain cancer in adults. Further understanding of the mechanisms underlying the aggressive nature of GBM is urgently needed. Here we identified homeobox B8(HOXB8), a member of the homeobox family, as a crucial contributor to the aggressiveness of GBM. Data mining of publicly accessible RNA sequence datasets and our patient cohorts confirmed a higher expression of HOXB8 in the tumor tissue of GBM patients, and a strong positive correlation between the expression level and pathological grading of tumors and a negative correlation between the expression level and the overall survival rate. We next showed that HOXB8 promotes the proliferation and migration of glioblastoma cells and is crucial for the activation of the PI3K/AKT pathway and expression of epithelial–mesenchymal transition-related genes, possibly through direct binding to the promoter of SAMD9 (Sterile Alpha Motif Domain-Containing Protein 9) and activating its transcription. 13A flexible CNT@nickel silicate composite film for high-performance sodium storage显示文摘Due to the sufficient ion diffusion channels provided by the large interlayer spacing, layered silicates are widely considered as potential anode materials for lithium ion and sodium ion batteries. However, due to the poor electronic conductivity, the application of layered silicates for electrochemical energy storage has been greatly limited. Carbon nanotube(CNT) film has excellent electrical conductivity and a unique interconnected network, making it an ideal matrix for composite electrochemical material. We herein report a CNT@nickel silicate composite film(CNT@NiSiO) fabricated by a SiO2-mediated hydrothermal conversion process, for sodium storage with excellent electrochemical properties. The obtained composite possesses a cladding structure with homogeneous nanosheets as the outermost and CNT film as the inner network matrix, providing abundant ion diffusion channels, high electronic conductivity, and good mechanical flexibility. Due to these merits, this material possesses an excellent electrochemical performance for sodium storage, including a high specific capacity up to 390 mAh g-1 at 50 mA g-1, good rate performance up to 205 mAh g-1 at 500 mA g-1, and excellent cycling stability. 15Lightweight Design of Spaceborne CFRP Rigid Antenna Reflector显示文摘In order to overcome the shortcoming of space-borne rigid antenna reflector made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic(CFRP)skins with aluminum honeycomb sandwich(SAHS)structure,a new type of full CFRP skin plus rib(SPR)structure ring-focused parabolic surface antenna reflector with the size of 2.5 m×1.9 m is designed.Under the condition that the original caliber,surface type,and interface remain unchanged,the main influence factors are designed and controlled.First,from the perspective of high stiffness,lightweight,and easy to form,a finite element simulation software is used to analyze and optimize the layout of the rib,the cross-sectional shape of the rib,the size of the rib,and the matching of the size and the coefficients of thermal expansion(CTEs)of the rib and the skin.Second,two structures are prepared by the autoclave molding process.Third,the weight and the surface precision root mean square(RMS)value are measured.The results show that the fundamental frequency of the SPR structure is 142.2 Hz,which is 3.5 Hz higher;the number of the new structural parts is reduced by 40%,and the forming process is greatly simplified.The total weight of the new structure is 11.9 kg,lighter 42.5%,indicating that the weight loss is obvious.The RMS value is 0.15 mm,which is slightly lower 0.01 mm but satisfies the accuracy requirement not greater than 0.3 mm.It is proved that the SPR structure reflector is a superior structure of the lightweight spaceborne antenna reflector.ZHOU Tao LIANG Yanmin WU Wenping WU Xinrui YE Zhoujun DONG Bin 2022上海航天(中英文)2022,39,1:1

19Existing Form of Zinc Oxide and Phase Transformation for Zinc Oxide Encapsulated in Mesoporous Silica显示文摘Nanocomposites of ZnO encapsulated in mesoporous silica were prepared by wetness impregnation and calcination.The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,nitrogen adsorptione desorption isotherms,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The effects of ZnO content and thermal treatment on the existing form of ZnO as well as phase transformation were investigated.ZnO exists stably in the form of non-crystalline phase or cluster when crystallite size is small.With increasing ZnO content,as the size of ZnO reaches a critical size of crystalline phase,the non-crystalline ZnO or cluster transforms structurally to crystalline ZnO with low energy state.Besides,Zn2 SiO4 was obtained by solid-state reaction between ZnO and mesoporous silica.The mesoporous silica acts as not only a reactant but also a diffusion barrier which inhibits the phase transformation from β-Zn2SiO4 to α-Zn2SiO4.The formation temperature of Zn2SiO4 is lower than that of conventional solid-state reaction because of the unique structure of mesoporous silica.Qingshan Lu Guohong Yun Wenping Zhou Jiangong Li 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,9:1
