| 1 | Weldability, microstructure and mechanical properties of laser-welded selective laser melted 304 stainless steel joints显示文摘Laser welding is a promising process for joining small components produced by selective laser melting (SLM) to fabricate the large-scale and complex-shaped parts. In the work, the morphology, microstructure, microhardness, tensile properties and corrosion resistance of the laser welded stress-relieved SLMed 304 stainless steel joints are investigated, as the different sections of stress-relieved SLMed 304 stainless steel are joined. Results show that the SLMed 304 stainless steel plates have a good laser weldability. The microstructure of laser-welded joints consists of the cellular dendrites in austenite matrix within columnar grains, exhibiting a coarser dendrite structure, lower microhardness (~220HV) and tensile properties (tensile strength of ~750 MPa, and area reduction of ~27.6%), but superior corrosion resistance to those of SLMed plates. The dendrite arm spacing of the joints varies from ~3.7μm in center zone, to ~5.0 (xm in fusion zone, to ~2.5 in epitaxial zone. The SLMed anisotropy shows a negligible effect on the microstructure and performance of the laser-welded joints. | 3 | Mechanical property and permeability of raw coal containing methane under unloading confining pressure显示文摘Based on domestic-developed triaxial servo-controlled seepage equipment for thermal-hydrologicalmechanical coupling of coal containing methane,an experimental study was carried out to investigate mechanical property and gas permeability of raw coal,under the situation of conventional triaxial compression and unloading confining pressure tests in different gas pressure conditions.Triaxial unloading confining pressure process was reducing confining pressure while increasing axial pressure.The research results show that,compared with the peak intensity of conventional triaxial loading,the ultimate strength of coal samples of triaxial unloading confining pressure was lower,deformation under loading was far less than unloading,dilation caused by unloading was more obvious than loading.The change trend of volumetric strain would embody change of gas permeability of coal,the permeability first reduced along with volumetric strain increase,and then raised with volume strain decrease,furthermore,the change trends of permeability of coal before and after destruction were different in the stage of decreasing volume strain due to the effect of gas pressure.When gas pressure was greater,the effective confining pressure was smaller,and the radial deformation produced by unloading was greater.When the unloading failed confining pressure difference was smaller,coal would be easier to get unstable failure. | Yin Guangzhi Li Wenpu Jiang Changbao Li Minghui Li Xing Liu Hairu Zhang Qiangui | 2013 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2013,23,6: | 9 |
| 4 | Numerical simulation of gas migration into mining-induced fracture network in the goaf显示文摘Gas extraction practice has been proven for the clear majority of coal mines in China to be unfavorable using drill holes in the coal seam. Rather, mining-induced fractures in the goaf should be utilized for gas extraction. To study gas migration in mining-induced fractures, one mining face of 10 th Mine in Pingdingshan Coalmine Group in Henan, China, has been selected as the case study for this work. By establishing the mathematical model of gas migration under the influence of coal seam mining, discrete element software UDEC and Multiphysics software COMSOL are employed to model gas migration in mining-induced fractures above the goaf. The results show that as the working face advances, the goaf overburden gradually forms a mining-induced fracture network in the shape of a trapezoid, the size of which increases with the distance of coal face advance. Compared with gas migration in the overburden matrix, the gas flow in the fracture network due to mining is far greater. The largest mining-induced fracture is located at the upper end of the trapezoidal zone, which results in the largest gas flux in the network. When drilling for gas extraction in a mining-induced fracture field, the gas concentration is reduced in the whole region during the process of gas drainage, and the rate of gas concentration drops faster in the fractured zone. | 5 | Microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of 300M steel produced by low and high power selective laser melting显示文摘300 M ultra-high strength steel has been widely used in critical structural components for aviation and aerospace vehicles,owing to its high strength,excellent transverse plasticity,fracture toughness and fatigue resistance.Herein,low and high power selective laser melting(SLM)of 300 M steel and their microstructural evolution and mechanical properties have been reported.The results show that the optimal energy density range with the highest relative density for SLMed 300 M steel is between 60 and160 J/mm^3.Furthermore,molten pools for deposition exhibit a conduction mode with semi-elliptical shape at a lower laser power of 300~600 W but a keyhole mode with'U'shape at a higher laser power of 800~1900 W.The heterogeneous microstructure of as-built samples is cha racterized by a skin-core structure which is that tempered troostite with the coarse non-equiaxed grains in the molten pool is wrapped by tempered sorbite with the fine equiaxed grains in the heat-affected zone.The skin-core structure of SLMed 300 M steel has the characteristics of hard inside and soft outside.The average microhardness of samples varies from 385 to 341 HV when laser power increases from 300 to 1900 W.Interestingly,ultimate tensile strength(1156-1193 MPa)and yield tensile strength(1085-1145 MPa)of dense samples fabricated at diffe rent laser powers vary marginally.But,the elongation(6.8-9.1%)of SLMed 300 M steel is greatly affected by the laser power. | Guanyi Jing Wenpu Huang Huihui Yang Zemin Wang | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,13: | 5 |

| 8 | Development and Application of Oil-Spill Risk Assessment Model for Offshore Pipeline显示文摘To the potential oil-spill risk caused by offshore pipeline more attention has been paid after the Dalian oil spill incident from oil-pipeline explosion. Since then an issue about how to prevent and control the sudden oil-spill from the offshore pipeline has been raised. In this paper, we proposed an optimized model to analyze the main causes(probability) of spill and the consequence with the fuzzy comprehensive assessment model. Considering the complicated assessment process for oil-spill, the assessment factor system involving the spill probability and consequence was established based on the operative manual and statistic leakage/damage data of offshore pipeline in order to estimate the integrated spill risk score automatically. The evaluated factors of spill probability could be grouped into five aspects: corrosion, fatigue, national damage, third party, and operational fault; the consequence evaluated factors of spill included hazard of oil and impact-controlling capability. With some modifications based on experts' opinions, each of the evaluated factors in our work was developed with a relative weight and evaluation criterion. A test example for an offshore pipeline in the Bohai waters was described to show how the model can be used for an actual case in more detail. | 20 | Ultrafast Hole Deformation Revealed by Molecular Attosecond Interferometry显示文摘Understanding the evolution of molecular electronic structures is the key to explore and control photochemical reactions and photobiological processes.Subjected to strong laser fields,electronic holes are formed upon ionization and evolve in the attosecond timescale.It is crucial to probe the electronic dynamics in real time with attosecond-temporal and atomic-spatial precision.Here,we present molecular attosecond interferometry that enables the in situ manipulation of holes in carbon dioxide molecules via the interferometry of the phase-locked electrons(propagating in opposite directions)of a laser-triggered rotational wave packet.The joint measurement on high-harmonic and terahertz spectroscopy(HATS)provides a unique tool for understanding electron dynamics from picoseconds to attoseconds.The optimum phases of two-color pulses for controlling the electron wave packet are precisely determined owing to the robust reference provided with the terahertz pulse generation.It is noteworthy that the contribution of HOMO-1 and HOMO-2 increases reflecting the deformation of the hole as the harmonic order increases.Our method can be applied to study hole dynamics of complex molecules and electron correlations during the strong-field process.The threefold control through molecular alignment,laser polarization,and the two-color pulse phase delay allows the precise manipulation of the transient hole paving the way for new advances in attochemistry. | Yindong Huang Jing Zhao Zheng Shu Yalei Zhu Jinlei Liu Wenpu Dong Xiaowei Wang Zhihui Lü Dongwen Zhang Jianmin Yuan Jing Chen Zengxiu Zhao | 2021 | Ultrafast Science2021,,1: | 1 |
