1Prototype for 5G New Air Interface Technology SCMA and Performance Evaluation显示文摘Sparse code multiple access(SCMA) is a novel non-orthogonal multiple access scheme proposed to meet the challenging demand of the future 5G communications, especially in support of the massive connections. The coded bits from each data stream will be directly mapped as multi-dimensional SCMA codeword in complex domain and then spread onto the physical resource elements in a sparse manner. The number of codewords that can be nonorthogonally multiplexed in one SCMA block can be made much larger than the number of orthogonal resource elements therein, resulting in an overloaded system. The sparsity in the spreading pattern and the design in the multidimensional modulator jointly ensure the SCMA codewords can be robustly decoded with low complexity. In this paper, we focus on the low complexity receiver design and verified the superior of an SCMA system via simulations and real-time prototyping. 2Effects of Sini San used alone and in combination with fluoxetine on central and peripheral 5-HT levels in a rat model of depression显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Sini San and fluoxetine on the levels of central and peripheral 5-HT in a rat model of depression, and provide new insight into the treatment of depression with integrated Chinese-Western Medicine.METHODS: A rat model of depression was established by chronic mild stress(CMS). Model rats received either Sini San, fluoxetine, a combination of the two drugs, or no drug treatment. Healthy naive rats were used as controls. Open field and sucrose preference tests were used to assess depression-like behavior. ELISA and immunohistochemistry were used to determine central and peripheral levels of 5-HT.RESULTS: In the group with no drug treatment,central 5-HT expression decreased while peripheral5-HT concentrations increased as CMS continued.Four weeks after CMS, Sini San alone was less effective in reducing depression-like behavior than fluoxetine alone or in combination with Sini San,but combined use was more effective than fluoxetine alone. Eight weeks after CMS, Sini San alone or in combination with fluoxetine was more effective in reducing depression-like behavior than fluoxetine alone. Furthermore Sini San and fluoxetine used alone or in combination notably increased central 5-HT expression and decreased peripheral 5-HT levels in the rat model.CONCLUSION:The results of the present study indicate that there is a synergistic action between the two medicines in the treatment of depression. Sini San exhibited a relatively long lag before its effects were observed; however, by eight weeks the Traditional Chinese Medicine appeared at least as effective as fluoxetine. 3Dendrocalamus latiflorus and its component rutin exhibit glucose-lowering activities by inhibiting hepatic glucose production via AKT activation显示文摘The potential medicinal value of Ma bamboo(Dendrocalamus latiflorus), one of the most popular and economically important bamboo species in China, has been underestimated. In the present study, we found that D. latiflorus leaf extract(DLE) reduced fasting blood glucose levels, body weight,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol with low liver toxicity in db/db mice. In addition, gene expression profiling was performed and pathway enrichment analysis showed that DLE affected metabolic pathways.Importantly, DLE activated the AKT signaling pathway and reduced glucose production by downregulating glucose-6-phosphatase(G6 PC) and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1(PCK1) expression. Moreover, network pharmacology analysis identified rutin as an active component in DLE through targeting insulin growth factor 1 receptor(IGF1 R), an upstream signaling transducer of AKT. 5The synthesis and application of zeolitic material from fly ash by one-pot method at low temperature显示文摘A new route to prepare zeolitic material was introduced in this work. Compared with traditional methods, the new route showed lower energy consume. The effect of pre-treatment conditions on structure and crystalline phase was investigated, revealing that the mullite crystalline phase in fly ash could be converted to amorphous phase by alkali at low temperature. 6Therapeutic window of Qingkailing injection for focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘The time window in which a drug is effective varies between drugs. The present study investigated the therapeutic window of Qingkailing injection for focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion in mice. Animals underwent middle cerebral artery occlusion and were injected with Qingkailing (1.5, 3, 6 mL/kg). Infarct volume and neurological function were assessed after 24 hours of ischemia. In addition, to establish the therapeutic time window, mice were injected with 3 mL/kg Qingkailing at 0, 1, 3, 4, 6, 9 and 12 hours after occlusion. 7Structural strength deterioration of coastal bridge piers considering non-uniform corrosion in marine environments显示文摘In the aggressive marine environment over a long-term service period,coastal bridges inevitably sustain corrosion-induced damage due to high sea salt and humidity.This paper investigates the strength reduction of coastal bridges,especially focusing on the effects of non-uniform corrosion along the height of bridge piers.First,the corrosion initiation time and the degradation of reinforcement and concrete are analyzed for bridge piers in marine environments.To investigate the various damage modes of the concrete cover,a discretization method with fiber cells is used for calculating time-dependent interaction diagrams of cross-sections of the bridge piers at the atmospheric zone and the splash and tidal zone under a combination of axial force and bending moment.Second,the shear strength of these aging structures is analyzed.Numerical simulation indicates that the strength of a concrete pier experiences dramatic reduction from corrosion initiation to the spalling of the concrete cover.Strength loss in the splash and tidal zone is more significant than in the atmospheric zone when structures’service time is assumed to be the same.Guo Anxin Yuan Wenting Li Haitao Li Hui 2018Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2018,17,2:3
8Threat-Based Declassification and Endorsement for Mobile Computing显示文摘Declassification and endorsement can efficiently improve the usability of mobile applications.However, both declassify and endorse operations in practice are often ad-hoc and nondeterministic, thus, being insecure. From a new perspective of threat assessments,we propose the Threat-based typed security π-calculus(πTBTS) to model declassification and endorsement in mobile computing. Intuitively, when relaxing confidentiality policies and/or integrity policies, we respectively assess threats brought by performing these two relaxes. If these threats are acceptable, the declassification and/or endorsement operations are permitted;Otherwise, they are denied. 9Effect of film types on thermal response,cellular structure,forming defects and mechanical properties of combined in-mold decoration and microcellular injection molding parts显示文摘Different types of polymer films were used in the combined in-mold decoration and microcellular injection molding(IMD/MIM)process.The multiphase fluid-solid coupled heat transfer model was established to study the thermal response at the melt filling stage in the IMD/MIM process.It was found that the temperature distributed asymmetrically along the thickness direction due to the changed heat transfer coefficient of the melt on the film side.When polyethylene terephthalate(PET)films were applied,the temperature of the melt-film interface increased faster and to be higher at the end of melt filling stage in comparison with the application of polycarbonate(PC)and thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU)films.And the effects of film types on the cellular structure,forming defects and mechanical properties of IMD/MIM parts were also studied experimentally.The results showed that the film types had no obvious effect on the cells size in the transition layer and the mechanical properties of the parts.Under certain film thickness,the offset distance of core layer was the largest with PET film used,while the offset distance was the smallest with TPU film used.And similar results were found for the warpage of the parts.However,an exactly opposite change occurred for the thickness of film-side transition layer and the bubble marks on the surface of the parts.Wei Guo Zhihui Yu Wenting Wei Zhenghua Meng Huajie Mao Lin Hua 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,33:1

16Preparation of biomimetic gene hydrogel via polymerase chain reaction for cell-free protein expression显示文摘Deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)hydrogels,a three-dimensional(3 D)network made from DNA chains,have attracted great attention because of its molecular programmability,excellent biocompatibility and wide biomedical applications.Construction of hydrogel incorporating genetic function is still a challenge because of the limitations in available preparation methods.Herein,we develop a polymerase chain reaction(PCR)based strategy to construct gene integrated hydrogel to mimic the biofunction of nucleus zone.DNA primers were chemically modified by methacrylamide,which were used as modular primers in PCR to hybridize with template plasmid DNA,yielding methacrylamide functionalized gene(Acry-gene).Afterwards,Acry-gene was chemically cross-linked and compressed via free radical polymerization of terminal group methacrylamide to form a threedimensional gene network,namely gene hydrogel.The gene hydrogel retained the genetic function and expressed protein successfully in a cell free protein expression system.This work provides a general approach for the construction of biofunctional gene hydrogel which mimics bioprocesses,showing great potential in biomedicine and biomimetic fields.Feng Li Wenting Yu Xue Zhang Xiaocui Guo Xihan Xu Xiaolei Sun Dayong Yang 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,1:1
17Optimization of heat shield for single silicon crystal growth by using numerical simulation显示文摘In integrated circuit-grade single silicon Czochralski growth, the position and material of heat shield are main parameters affecting the heat exchange and crystal growth condition. By optimizing the above parameters, we attempted to increase the growth rate and crystal quality. Numerical simulation proved to verify the results before and after optimization. 20The Arrangement and Size of Cellulose Microfibril Aggregates in the Cell Walls of Sclerenchyma Fibers and Parenchyma Tissue in Bamboo显示文摘Understanding the assembly and spatial arrangement of bamboo cell wall components is crucial for its optimal utilization.Bamboo cell walls consist of aggregates of cellulose microfibrils and matrix.In the present study,the size and arrangement of cellulose microfibril aggregates in the cell walls of sclerenchyma fibers and parenchyma cells in moso bamboo were investigated with NMR and FE-SEM.The NMR measurement showed that the characteristic sizes of the microfibril aggregates of fibers and parenchyma cells were approximately 25.8 nm and 18.8 nm,respectively.Furthermore,high-resolution SEM showed the size of microfibril aggregates varied little across the cell wall of sclerenchyma fiber.However,there were significant size differences between the broad and narrow lamellae both in fiber and parenchyma cells,which is thought to be closely related to the orientation of microfibrils in these layers.The microfibril aggregates in the fibers mainly appear in a random arrangement,although occasionally in a radial or tangential arrangement in individual cell.Parenchyma cells have a relatively thinner cell wall layers,in which microfibril aggregates appear in a concentric lamellar arrangement.Wenting Ren Fei Guo Minghui Liu Haocheng Xu Hankun Wang Yan Yu 2021Journal of Renewable Materials2021,9,12:0
