| 1 | GeoScope:Full 3D Geospatial Information System Case Study显示文摘Aiming at the integrative management and comprehensive applications of large-scale 3D geospatial information covering the full 3D space of a city,this paper briefly introduces the design and implementation of a full 3D GIS platform:GeoScope,which provides a professional solution for the massive full three-dimensional geospatial data integration,management,analysis,visualization,and applications.GeoScope is characterized by:(1) extendible software architecture based on the hierarchical message bus,facilitates multimodal integrative applications of 2D GIS and 3D GIS;(2) unified 3D city models,support multiscale semantic representation of outdoor & indoor and aboveground & underground 3D objects;(3) high-efficient 3D geospatial database engine,supports integrated management of massive 3D geospatial data for real-time applications;and (4) high-performance visualization engine exploiting the massively parallel computation architecture of modern GPUs,supports real-time realistic rendering of large-scale complicated 3D geospatial environments.The successful pilot application of GeoScope is also illustrated with the 3D city models of 8494 km2 of the whole Wuhan City,the largest city in middle China. | ZHANG Yeting ZHU Qing LIU Gang ZHENG Wenting LI Zhonghua DU Zhiqiang | 2011 | Geo-Spatial Information Science2011,14,2: | 7 |
| 2 | Possible mechanisms underlying treatment of Alzheimer’s disease with Traditional Chinese Medicine: active components, potential targets and synthetic pathways of Bulao Elixir显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To elucidate the mechanisms underlying the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease(AD) with Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), by examining the active components, potential targets and synthetic pathways of Bulao Elixir(BLE).METHODS: The Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion(ADME)/Toxicology(T) calculation was used to screen the active components of Bulao Elixir. Based on the TCM Systems Pharmacology Analysis Platform(TCMSP database) and a text mining tool(GoPubMed database), we predicted and screened the active components of Bulao Elixir and its therapeutic targets for AD. Using the Database for Annotation, Visualization and Integrated Discovery(DAVID), we obtained the targets for AD. Cytoscape software was used to establish a network map of the active component-target and target-pathway of Bulao Elixir. Gene function, related biological processes and signaling pathways were analyzed using the DAVID database.RESULTS: Twelve active components were selected from 196 components of Bulao Elixir. Among 2209 targets, 102 effective targets were selected, and 30 important targets were identified via matching with the disease targets. After further analysis, 14 core targets were identified. Enrichment analysis revealed that most of these important targets were involved in multiple biological processes, including apoptosis, inflammatory reactions, and cell regulation cycles. | 5 | Wear Behavior of a NiCr/AgVO_3 Self-Lubricating Composite显示文摘NiCr/AgVO3 self-lubricating composite was prepared by powder cold-pressed method with the NiCr alloy as the matrix and 10 wt.% additive of AgVO3 as solid lubricant.The AgVO3 additive powder was synthesized by the precipitation method which exhibits a melting point of 460℃.Microstructure,phase composition and thermal properties of the AgVO3 powder,as well as the composite of NiCr/AgVO3 were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD) and differential scanning calorimeter(DSC).The friction and wear behavior of the specimens from room temperature(R.T.) to 800℃ was evaluated using a ball-on-disk tribometer and 3D white light interference(WLI).The results showed that the friction coefficient of this material under atmosphere decreases with temperature increasing from R.T.to 800℃.However,the wear rate firstly increases from R.T.to 200℃,almost remains stable from 200℃ to 600℃,and then decreases with further increasing the temperature up to 800℃.It is also found that the prepared composite materials show a better frictional behavior than NiCr alloy over the whole range of temperatures,which is mainly attributed to solid lubrication of AgVO3 exhibiting a lamella-slip structure at temperatures below 460℃ and forms liquid-film at elevated temperatures above the melting point. | Wenting ZHANG Lingzhong DU Hao LAN Chuanbing HUANG Weigang ZHANG | 2013 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2013,26,4: | 1 |

| 10 | Chromium transformation driven by iron redox cycling in basalt-derived paddy soil with high geological background values显示文摘The flooding and drainage of paddy fields has great effects on the transformation of heavy metals, however, the transformation of Cr in basalt-derived paddy soil with high geological background values was less recognized. The typical basalt-derived paddy soil was incubated under alternating redox conditions. The Cr fractions and the dynamics of Fe/N/S/C were examined. The HCl-extractable Cr increased under anaerobic condition and then decreased during aerobic stage. The UV-vis spectra of the supernatant showed that amounts of colloids were released under anaerobic condition, and then re-aggregated during aerobic phase. The scanning transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) revealed that Fe oxides were reduced and became dispersed during anaerobic stage, whereas Fe(Ⅱ) was oxidized and recrystallized under aerobic condition. Based on these results, a kinetic model was established to further distinguish the relationship between the transformation of Cr and Fe. During anaerobic phase, the reduction of Fe(Ⅲ) oxides not only directly released the structurally bound Cr, but also enhanced the breakdown of soil aggregation and dissolution of organic matter causing indirect mobilization of Cr. During aerobic phase, the oxidation of Fe (Ⅱ) and further recrystallization of newly formed Fe(Ⅲ) oxides might induce the re-aggregation of soil colloids and further incorporation of Cr. | 11 | Correlation between human seizure-related gene 6 variants and idiopathic generalized epilepsy in a Southern Chinese Han population显示文摘This study sought to analyze the genotype and gene mutations of human seizure-related gene 6 in 98 patients with idiopathic generalized epilepsy (non-febrile seizures), who were selected from three generations of the Chinese Han population living in Shanghai, Zhejiang Province, Wuxi of Jiangsu Province, and Jiangxi Province of Southern China. Twenty-six patients' parents were available as a first-degree relatives group and 100 biologically unrelated healthy controls were collected as the control group. Based on the age of onset and seizure type, the patients were divided into six subgroups. Polymerase chain reaction and DNA direct sequencing analysis showed that the most frequent mutations c.1249dupC (p.Gly418Argfx31) and c.1636A > G (p.Thr546Ala) were detected in some idiopathic generalized epilepsy patients and their asymptomatic first-degree relatives (30.6% vs. 19.2% and 11.2% vs. 26.9%). A novel mutation c.1807G > A (p.Val603Met) was found in a patient with late-onset idiopathic generalized epilepsy. There was no significant difference in the incidence of these three mutations among the different subgroups of idiopathic generalized epilepsy and controls. | 15 | Microzone-explosion synthesis of porous carbon electrodes for advanced aqueous solid-state supercapacitors with a high-voltage gel electrolyte显示文摘A new microzone-combustion synthesis is proposed for preparing S, N-doped hierarchically porous carbons(CAC-CN) with a novel mixed microstructure of sp~2 short-range order area and sp~3 defective area,achieving a coexistence of high conductivity and high capacitance as well as good access for electrolyte.By engineering ‘‘water in salts' into a polymer matrix, a high-voltage(2.5 V) aqueous gel electrolyte(HGWIS) is prepared and used to construct an aqueous solid-state SCs by in situ polymerization between the electrodes. The good match of CAC-CN electrode and HG-WIS electrolyte endows the assembled devices with superior high energy density and excellent capacitance retention, also a good temperature robustness, as well a high flexibility in 0-180° bending cycles.
