| 1 | Analysis of status and countermeasures of cancer incidence and mortality in China显示文摘Cancer is the leading cause of human deaths in the world and produces serious economic burdens. On September 12, 2018, the academic journal A Cancer Journal for Clinicians published an article about the latest statistics of cancers worldwide, which provided a status report on the global burden of 36 cancers in 185 countries worldwide. Cancer has also become a serious public health problem in China and caused more and more attention of the government and people in recent years. | 2 | Monitoring of atmospheric radionuclides from the Fukushima nuclear accident and assessing their impact on Xi'an, China显示文摘Aerosol radionuclides (131I, 134Cs, 137Cs) and gaseous radioactive xenon (133Xe) were monitored at Xi'an, China following the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in March 2011. The additional annual effective dose attributable to the Fukushima emissions was much lower than the public annual effective dose from natural radiation, according to Chinese national standards. The monitoring results were compared with data from other countries as well as with the radionuclide concentrations observed in Xi'an after the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1986. Possible transport pathways of the released radionuclides from Fukushima to Xi'an were investigated. | 5 | Study on Sampling Technique of Atmospheric Radionuclide显示文摘Atmospheric radionuclide monitoring usually includes two sampling techniques,namely ultra-high volume aerosol samplers to collect atmospheric particles by using filter media,and radioactive noble gas samplers to collect atmospheric noble gas based on adsorption method. Atmospheric sampling techniques have been researched in Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology since the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty( CTBT) was signed in 1996. Several ultra-high volume aerosol samplers and some types of radioactive xenon isotopes samplers had been developed. For the aerosol sampler,the sampling flow is between 450 and 800 m3/h,with the minimum detectable concentration( MDC) of131 I less than5 μBq /m3. For the xenon sampler,the sampling capacity of xenon is more than 4 ml per day,with MDC of133 Xe less than 0. 25 mBq /m3. | 6 | Leakage of nuclear material powder from pressure container through a small orifice显示文摘Because of the radioactivity and toxic nature of nuclear materials,their containment within oxide matrices,encased in sealed containers,has been proposed as a suitable means for storage and transportation.However,container failures because of cracks or small orifices present a major leakage risk for nuclear materials,consequently posing a significant hazard to the environment and human beings.In this study,terbium oxide powder was used as a nuclear material representative to examine the leakage of nuclear material powder through orifices located at the base of a pressure container.The dependence of the orifice diameter,the powder layer thickness,and the internal pressure of the container on the leakage mechanism and amount was examined.A simplified model correlating the dependence of the above-mentioned parameters to determine the utmost leakage amount was also developed based on the present results.The leakage of the nuclear material powder was assessed by measuring its concentration using an optical particle counter.The diameter of the orifice determined the powder leakage mechanism,which in turn influenced the amount of leakage produced.Comparison studies showed that unlike the changes in the differential pressure,the volume of the container has little effect on the leakage amount.Under sufficiently high internal pressures,the oxide powder can be released as a fine aerosol.The work is not only crucial from the nuclear safety aspect,but is also beneficial for the safe application of powder and nanoparticles. | Longbo Liu Yanmin Wu Yongyang Su Hanbing Tang Zhihong Zhang Ping Huang Lili Zhang Lixing Zhang | 2014 | Particuology2014,12,3: | 0 |

| 9 | Sensitivity Comparison of Immunocapture PCR and Classical PCR for Detection of Burkholderia glumae显示文摘The present study combined the fluoride ion-selective electrode( ISE) method with classical PCR to increase the detection efficiency of Burkholderia glumae. The four antisera of rabbit anti whole cell of B. glumae had been successfully obtained by polyclonal antibody technique,which were ASBg14,ASBg32,ASBg26 and ASBg04,respectively. The titers of four antisera reached 1∶ 32 in ODD test and 1∶ 5 120 in agglutination reaction. All antisera were identified to be qualified antibodies through combined method. The specificity of ASBg14 and ASBg32 was very high,but that of ASBg26 and ASBg04 was not very satisfying. The results showed that all tested strains of B. glumae produced 500 bp specific fragments by direct PCR and immunocapture PCR detection,while others showed negative PCR result. Comparing the sensitivity of these two detection methods,direct PCR could detect about 1 × 10~5 cfu / m L of bacterial suspension while immunocapture PCR could detect as few as 1 × 10~3 cfu / m L,10~2 times higher than direct PCR in sensitivity. | 14 | Effect of Dandelion(Taraxacum mongolicum Hand.-Mazz.)Intercropping with Different Plant Spacing on Blight and Growth of Pepper(Capsicum annuum L.)显示文摘Intercropping of crops that can secrete bacteriostatic active substances can not only inhibit the occurrence of disease but also have an important effect on plant growth.However,the effects of dandelion intercropping on pepper blight control and pepper growth remain unclear.In this study,the control effect of dandelion on pepper blight was studied by inoculating the pepper leaves with Phytophthora infestans,and it also discusses the correlation of the occurrence of pepper epidemic disease with the pepper canopy environment,soil environment,pepper photo-synthesis,and yield index.The results showed that best plant distance for dandelion intercropping was 20 cm(P20),and the control effect reached 43.31%.As compared to the CK,SOD enzyme,POD enzyme,and PAL enzyme were significantly up-regulated during the growth of pepper;chlorophyll content in pepper leaves was significantly increased;photosynthetic characteristics were significantly increased;stem diameter and yield of crop pepper were effectively improved;and the quality of the pepper product was better,but intercropping dandelion resulted in a significant decrease of nutrients in the soil environment of pepper,so a reasonable intercropping distance was needed.The correlation analysis shows that the incidence of pepper blight(A)was significantly positively correlated with soil temperature(Q),intercellular carbon dioxide(L),and canopy air temperature(O).The incidence of capsicum blight(A)was significantly negatively correlated with chlorophyll content(F),net photo-synthetic rate(K),stomatal conductance(M),ww rate(N),soil sucrase activity(W),vitamin C(AB),and leaf PAL enzyme(J).Finally,it was deduced that intercropping dandelion could effectively control the occurrence of pepper blight while also demonstrating a complex interaction with the pepper growing environment. | Peixin Li Hanbing Liu Yingtong Chen Xin Zhang Ning Cao Ying Sun Meimei Jia Mengran Wu Xuejiao Tong Xinmei Jiang Xihong Yu Yao Cheng | 2023 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,8: | 0 |
