| 1 | Observation and analysis of near-surface atmospheric aerosol optical properties in urban Beijing显示文摘Year-round measurements of the mass concentration and optical properties of fine aerosols(PM_(2.5)) from June 2009 to May 2010 at an urban site in Beijing were analyzed.The annual mean values of the PM_(2.5) mass concentration,absorption coefficient(Ab),scattering coefficient(Sc) and single scattering albedo(SSA)at 525 nm were 67±66μg/m^3,64 ±62 Mm^(-1),360 ±405 Mm^(-1) and 0.82 ±0.09,respectively.The bulk mass absorption efficiency and scattering efficiency of the PM_(2.5) at 525 nm were 0.78 m^2/g and 5.55 m^2/g,respectively.The Ab and Sc showed a similar diurnal variation with a maximum at night and a minimum in the afternoon,whereas SSA displayed an opposite diurnal pattern.Significant increases in the Ab and Sc were observed in pollution episodes caused by the accumulation of pollutants from both local and regional sources under unfavorable weather conditions.Aerosol loadings in dust events increased by several times in the spring,which had limited effects on the Ab and Sc due to the low absorption and scattering efficiency of dust particles.The frequency of haze days was the highest in autumn because of the high aerosol absorption and scattering under unfavorable weather conditions.The daily PM_(2.5)concentration should be controlled to a level lower than 64 μg/m^3 to prevent the occurrence of haze days according to its exponentially decreased relationship with visibility. | Junshan Jing Yunfei Wu Jun Tao Huizheng Che Xiangao Xia Xiaochun Zhang Peng Yan Deming Zhao Leiming Zhang | 2015 | Particuology2015,13,1: | 16 |

| 5 | Quantitative Remote Sensing Study on Regional Soil Erosion——Bin County of Heilongjiang as an Example显示文摘Based on Chinese soil loss equation (CSLE) model, this paper utilized technical advantages of RS and geographic information system (GIS) on data access and erosion factors data-base building to study prediction methods of regional soil erosion. The spatial analysis module of ARCGIS platform was applied to study the spatial distribution of erosion and the inter-relations of the factors influencing regional soil erosion in the research area. As a result, the mean soil erosion modulus of Bin County is 3 555.42 t/(km2?a), which suggests moderate degree erosion. The mean soil erosion modulus of clayey meadow soil is higher than those of dark brown soil and black soil. Vegetation factor values are between 0.1-0.2. The mean slope gradient and slope length values are respectively 1.335 and 6.061 which shows slope length is a dominant factor. And soil type, vegetation coverage and to-pographic factors have remarkable relevance to each other. | 6 | Revalidation of a prognostic score model based on complete blood count for nasopharyngeal carcinoma through a prospective study显示文摘Objective: In our previous work, we incorporated complete blood count(CBC) into TNM stage to develop a new prognostic score model, which was validated to improve prediction efficiency of TNM stage for nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).The purpose of this study was to revalidate the accuracy of the model, and its superiority to TNM stage, through data from a prospective study.Methods: CBC of 249 eligible patients from the 863 Program No.2006AA02Z4B4 was evaluated.Prognostic index(PI) of each patient was calculated according to the score model.Then they were divided by the PI into three categories: the low-, intermediate-and high-risk patients.The 5-year disease-specific survival(DSS) of the three categories was compared by a log-rank test.The model and TNM stage(7th edition) were compared on efficiency for predicting the 5-year DSS, through comparison of the area under curve(AUC) of their receiver-operating characteristic curves.Results: The 5-year DSS of the low-, intermediate- and high-risk patients were 96.0%, 79.1% and 62.2%,respectively.The low- and intermediate-risk patients had better DSS than the high-risk patients(P<0.001 and P<0.005, respectively).And there was a trend of better DSS in the low-risk patients, compared with the intermediate-risk patients(P=0.049).The AUC of the model was larger than that of TNM stage(0.726 vs.0.661,P=0.023).Conclusions: A CBC-based prognostic score model was revalidated to be accurate and superior to TNM stage on predicting 5-year DSS of NPC. | Xiaohui Li Hui Chang Yalan Tao Xiaohui Wang Jin Gao Wenwen Zhang Chen Chen Yunfei Xia | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2016,28,5: | 4 |

| 13 | Characteristic absorption peak of the human blood measured with differential photoacoustic spectroscopy显示文摘A new highly sensitive spectroscopy technique-differential photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) is presented in this paper. The blood samples from 3 healthy persons, patients with leukemia, patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH), and 40 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were measured by the PAS technique. The normalized, the first order, and the second order differential photo-acoustic spectroscopy of the blood were gained. The results show that ( i) weak absorption peaks or shoulder peaks, which could not be found using conventional photoacoustic spectroscopy, were determined by the first order and the second order differential photoacoustic spectroscopy which significantly improve the sensitivity of detection; and (ii) that two characteristic absorption peaks were found at the wavelength of 637 and 664 nm in all persons’ blood samples by the differential photoacoustic spectroscopy technique. | 17 | Effect of radial heat conduction on effective thermal conductivity of carbon nanotube bundles显示文摘The effect of the radial heat conduction on the effective thermal conductivity of carbon nanotube(CNT) bundles is studied by the nonequilibrium molecular dynamics(NEMD) method. The hexagonal CNT bundle consists of seven(10, 10) single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs). The radial heat conduction is induced by creating the vacancy defects in some segments of the constituent CNTs. Combined with the temperature differences and the inter-tube thermal resistances at the different segments,the radial heat flow in the CNT bundle is calculated. | 18 | Improving Chinese Word Representation with Conceptual Semantics显示文摘The meaning of a word includes a conceptual meaning and a distributive meaning.Word embedding based on distribution suffers from insufficient conceptual semantic representation caused by data sparsity,especially for low-frequency words.In knowledge bases,manually annotated semantic knowledge is stable and the essential attributes of words are accurately denoted.In this paper,we propose a Conceptual Semantics Enhanced Word Representation(CEWR)model,computing the synset embedding and hypernym embedding of Chinese words based on the Tongyici Cilin thesaurus,and aggregating it with distributed word representation to have both distributed information and the conceptual meaning encoded in the representation of words.We evaluate the CEWR model on two tasks:word similarity computation and short text classification.The Spearman correlation between model results and human judgement are improved to 64.71%,81.84%,and 85.16%on Wordsim297,MC30,and RG65,respectively.Moreover,CEWR improves the F1 score by 3%in the short text classification task.The experimental results show that CEWR can represent words in a more informative approach than distributed word embedding.This proves that conceptual semantics,especially hypernymous information,is a good complement to distributed word representation. | Tingxin Wei Weiguang Qu Junsheng Zhou Yunfei Long Yanhui Gu Zhentao Xia | 2020 | Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,9: | 1 |

| 20 | 1093例鼻咽癌疗效和预后分析:21世纪初广州单个中心的经验(英文)显示文摘Objective: To analyze the treatment results of primary nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) treated in our institu-tion in the beginning of the 21st century to identify key failures and late effects for refining future treatments. Methods: 1093 patients with primary NPC treated during December 2001 and June 2003 were retrospectively analyzed. The distribution ac-cording to the AJCC/UICC (2002 edition) staging system was stage I in 5.8%, stage II 40.2%, stage III 32.7% and stage IVa-b 21.3%. Four different ERT techniques were used: fluoroscopy simulation conventional radiotherapy (CR) in 74.3% of patients, computer tomography simulation conventional radiotherapy (CT-sim CR) 14.2%, three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT) 6.3%, intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) 5.2%. In the whole series, 46.7% of patients had additional treat-ment with chemotherapy. Results: The 4-year local failure-free rate (LFFR), nodal failure-free rate, distant metastasis-free rate, progression-free survival and overall survival (OS) was 89.6%, 96.1%, 85.9%, 73.0% and 82.4%, respectively. The stage was the most important prognostic factor. The 4-year OS and LFFR of patients treated by CR, CT-sim CR, 3D-CRT and IMRT was 80.2%, 89.8%, 89.8%, 92.4% and 87.7%, 96.4%, 91.0%, 96.5%, respectively. The morbidity and degree of xerostomia and trismus were lower in the patients treated by 3D-CRT and IMRT than by CR and CT-sim CR. Conclusion: Treatment results of primary NPC in our institution have been substantially improved. Distant metastasis is the main failure.
