1Studies on the regional feature of organic carbon in sediments off the Huanghe River Estuary waters显示文摘Organic carbon (OC) in definitely small area sediments(according to marine dimension)off the Huanghe River Estuary is investigated in order to evaluate the feature of regional difference of physical and chemical properties in marginal sea sediments. The distributions of OC in sediments with natural grain size and the relationship with the pH,Eh ,Es and Fe3+/Fe2+ are discussed. In addition,OC decomposition rates in surfacial/subsurfacial sediments are estimated.OC concentrations range from 0.26% to 1.8%(wt)in the study area. Significant differences in OC content and in horizontal distribution as well as various trends in surfacial /subsurfacial sediments exhibit the feature of regional difference remarkably in marginal sea sediments. The complicated distribution of OC in surface sediments is due to the influence of bacterial activity and abundance, bioturbation of benthos and physical disturbance. The OC decomposition rate constant in surfacial /subsurfacial sediments ranges from 0.009 7 to 0.076 a-1 and the relatively high values may be mainly related to bacteria that are mainly responsible for OC mineralization;meio-and macrofauna affect OC degradation both directly, through feeding on it, and indirectly through bioturbation and at the same time coarse sediments are also disadvantageous to OC preservation. In almost all the middle and bottom sediments the contents of OC decrease with the increase of deposition depth, which indicates that mineralization of OC in the middle and bottom sediments has occurred via processes like SO reduction and Fe-oxide reduction.YUANHuamao LIUZhigang SONGJinming LüXiaoxia LIXuegang LINing ZHANTianrong 2004Acta Oceanologica Sinica2004,23,1:8
2Characteristics of nitrogen forms in the southern Huanghai Sea surface sediments显示文摘The distributions of different forms of nitrogen in the surface sediments of the southern Huanghai Sea are different and affected by various factors. The contents of IEF-N, SOEF-N and TN gradually decrease eastward, and those of SAEF-N northward, while those of WAEF-N westward. Around the seaport of the old Huanghe (Yellow) River, the contents of both SOEF-N and TN are the highest. Among all the factors, the content of fine sediment is the predominant factor to affect the distributions of different forms of nitrogen. The contents of IEF-N, SOEF-N, and TN have visibly positive correlation with the content of f'me sediments, and the correlative coefficient is 0.68, 0.58 and 0.71 respectively, showing that the contents of the three forms of nitrogen increase with those of f-me sediments. The content of WAEF-N is related to that of fine sediments to a certain extent, with a correlative coefficient of 0.35; while the content of SAEF-N is not related to that of fine sediments, showing that the content of SAEF-N is not controlled by fine grain-size fractions of sediments. In addition, the distributions of different forms of nitrogen are also interacted one another, and the contents of IEF-N and SOEF-N are obviously affected by TN, while those of inorganic nitrogen (WAEF-N, SAEF-N and IEF-N) are not affected by SOEF-N and TN obviously, although they are interacted each other.LüXiaoxia SONGJinming LIXuegang YUANHuamao ZHANTianrong LINing GAOXuelu 2004Acta Oceanologica Sinica2004,23,3:7

9Geochemistry of Middle Holocene Sediments from South Yellow Sea: Implications to Provenance and Climate Change显示文摘From a large number of case studies on terrestrial deposits we know that Late Holocene climate fluctuations have an important impact on the terrestrial environments. However, it is hitherto not clear how the marine sediments can be used to shed light on the environment and climate change of the catchment. To provide such insight, we used the major element, trace element and rare earth element(REE) compositions in the southern Yellow Sea(SYS) sediments to reconstruct the changes in weathering and erosion of their source regions. The sediments originate predominantly from the upper crust of East China and are transported into the basin especially by the Yellow River(Huanghe) and to a lesser extent by the Yangtze River(Changjiang). The chemical index of alteration(CIA; 53.7–59.7) suggests low chemical weathering of the source rocks since the Middle Holocene. This is consistent with the relatively cool and arid climate in North China after the Holocene Megathermal. Comparison of element ratios, including Al/Ca, K/Ca, Al/Na, K/Na, Rb/Sr, Li/Ba and the CIA shows that we can use the latter as a robust proxy for climate change. The CIA-based mean annual precipitation and mean annual temperature show a series of climate fluctuations in the catchment. A relatively warm and humid Period I(5.3–2.9 cal. ka BP), a relatively cool and dry Period II(2.9–0.9 cal. ka BP) and an increasingly cool and dry Period III(0.9–0.3 cal. ka BP). These periods can be linked to climate intervals recognized elsewhere.Xiaoxia Lü Gerard J.M.Versteegh Jinming Song Xuegang Li Huamao Yuan Ning Li 2016Journal of Earth Science2016,27,5:1

17Mining intrinsic information of convalescent patients after suffering coronavirus disease 2019 in Wuhan显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To summarize the potential characteristics of convalescent patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)in China based on emerging clinical tongue data and guide the treatment and recovery of COVID-19 patients from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine tongue diagnosis.METHODS:In this study,we developed and validated radiomics-based and lab-based methods as a novel approach to provide individualized pretreatment evaluation by analyzing different features to mine the orderliness behind tongue data of convalescent patients. In addition, this study analyzed the tongue features of convalescent patients from clinical tongue qualitative values, including thick and thin, fur, peeling, fat and lean, tooth marks and cracked, and greasy and putrid fur.RESULTS:We included 2164 tongue images in total(34%from day 0,35.4%from day 14 and 30.6%from day 28)from convalescent patients. The significance results are shown as follows.Firstly,as the recovery time prolongs, the L average values of tongue and coat decrease from 60.21 to 57.18 and from 60.06 to 57.03 respectively.Secondly, the decrease of abnormality rate of tongue coat, included greasy tongue fur, putrid fur,teeth-mark,thick-thin fur,are of significant statistical difference(P<0.05).Thirdly,the average value of gray-level cooccurrence matrices increases from 0.173 to 0.194,the average value of entropy increases from 0.606 to 0.665,the average value of inverse difference normalized decrease from 0.981 to 0.979,and the average value of dissimilarity decrease from 0.1576 to 0.1828.The details of other radiomics features are describe in results section.CONCLUSIONS:Our experiment shows that patients in different recovery periods have a relationship with quantitative values of tongue images, including L color space of the tongue and coat radiomics features analysis. This relationship can help clinical doctors master the recovery and health of patients as soon as possible and improve their understanding of the potential mechanisms underlying the dynamic changes and mechanisms underlying COVID-19.YAN Shixing LüYi LIU Ziqing REN Meng HE Haiyang XIAO Li GUO Feng PENG Miao LI Xiaoxia WANG Yong XU Xi YANG Tao SHAO Zuoyu HUANG Jingjing XIAO Mingzhong 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,2:1
