1Adjustment Model and Algorithm Based on Ellipsoid Uncertainty显示文摘In surveying adjustment models,there is usually some uncertain additional information or prior information on parameters,which can constrain the parameters,and guarantee the uniqueness and stability of parameter solution.In this paper,we firstly use ellipsoidal sets to describe uncertainty,and establish a new adjustment model with ellipsoidal uncertainty.Furthermore,we give a new adjustment criterion based on minimization trace of an outer ellipsoid with two ellipsoid intersections,and analyze the propagation law of uncertainty.Correspondingly,we give a new algorithm for the adjustment model with ellipsoid uncertainty.Finally,we give three examples to test and verify the effectiveness of our algorithm,and illustrate the relation between our result and the weighted mixed estimation.Yingchun SONG Yuguo XIA Xuemei XIE 2020Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2020,3,3:7
2Effect of Substrate Type on Deposition Behavior and Wear Performance of Ni-Coated Graphite/Al Composite Coatings Deposited by Cold Spraying显示文摘This work focused on the deposition characteristics and wear behavior of Ni-coated graphite mixed with40 vol.% Al(Ni-Gr/Al) composite coatings sprayed on an Al alloy and a steel substrate by cold spraying(CS). The morphology of the ?attened Ni-Gr particles was examined by single-impact tests. Crosssectional microstructure and wear performance of the Ni-Gr/Al composite coatings were studied. Results showed that a larger number of Ni-Gr particles were ?nally bonded with the steel substrate, whereas many craters existed on the Al alloy substrate after the single-impact tests. The coating on the steel substrate had a high thickness, high graphite content and low coe?cient of friction(COF) compared to those on the Al alloy substrate. In addition, the CS coatings presented a homogeneous distribution and uniform morphology of graphite, and a comparative COF to that of conventional thermal sprayed coatings. 3Modulation of nitrate-induced phosphate response by the MYB transcription factor RLI1/HINGE1 in the nucleus显示文摘The coordinated utilization of nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)is vital for plants to maintain nutrient balance and achieve optimal growth.Previously,we revealed a mechanism by which nitrate induces genes for phosphate utilization;this mechanism depends on NRT1.1B-facilitated degradation of cytoplasmic SPX4,which in turn promotes cytoplasmic-nuclear shuttling of PHR2,the central transcription factor of phosphate signaling,and triggers the nitrate-induced phosphate response(NIPR)and N-P coordinated utilization in rice.In this study,we unveiled a fine-tuning mechanism of NIPR in the nucleus regulated by Highly Induced by Nitrate Gene 1(HINGE1,also known as RLI1),a MYB-transcription factor closely related to PHR2.RLI1/HINGE1,which is transcriptionally activated by PHR2 under nitrate induction,can directly activate the expression of phosphate starvation-induced genes.More importantly,RLI1/HINGE1 competes with PHR2 for binding to its repressor proteins in the nucleus(SPX proteins),and consequently releases PHR2 to further enhance phosphate response.Therefore,RLI1/HINGE1 amplifies the phosphate response in the nucleus downstream of the cytoplasmic SPX4-PHR2 cascade,thereby enabling fine-tuning of N-P balance when nitrate supply is sufficient.Zhihua Zhang Zhao Li Wei Wang Zhimin Jiang Liping Guo Xiaohan Wang Yangwen Qian Xiahe Huang Yongqiang Liu Xiujie Liu Yahong Liu Aifu Li Yu Yan Junpeng Xie Shouyun Cao Stanislav Kopriva Legong Li Fanjiang Kong Baohui Liu Yingchun Wang Bin Hu Chengcai Chu 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,3:4
4Cold spray additive manufacturing of Invar 36 alloy:microstructure,thermal expansion and mechanical properties显示文摘In this work,the Invar 36 alloys were manufactured using cold spray(CS)additive manufacturing technique.The systematic investigations were made on the microstructural evolution,thermal expansion and mechanical properties under as-sprayed(AS)and heat-treated(HT)conditions.XRD(X-ray diffraction)and ICP-AES(inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy)analyses show that no phase transformation,oxidation,nor element content change have occurred.The X-ray computed tomography(XCT)exhibited a near fully dense structure with a porosity of 0.025%in the helium-produced sample under as-sprayed condition,whereas the nitrogen-produced samples produced at 5 MPa and 800℃show more irregular pore defects.He-AS sample shows a more prominent grain refinement than that of nitrogen samples due to the more extensive plastic deformation.The post heat-treatment exhibited a promoted grain growth,inter-particle diffusion,as well as the formation of annealing twins.Between25℃and 200℃,the nitrogen samples possessed lower CTE(coefficient of thermal expansion)values(1.53×10^(-6)/℃)compared with those produced by casting and laser additive manufacturing.The He-AS samples exhibited a noticeable negative CTE value between 25℃and 200℃,which may due to the significant compressive residual stress(-272 MPa)compensating its displacement with temperature increase during CTE test.The N2-HT and He-HT Invar 36 samples present a notable balance between strength and ductility.In conclusion,the CS technique can be considered as a potential method to produce the Invar36 component with high thermal and mechanical performance.Chaoyue Chen Yingchun Xie Longtao Liu Ruixin Zhao Xiaoli Jin Shanqing Li Renzhong Huang Jiang Wang Hanlin Liao Zhongming Ren 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,13:4
5A novel approach for fabricating a CNT/AlSi composite with the self-aligned nacre-like architecture by cold spraying显示文摘A fully dense carbon nanotubes (CNTs) reinforced AlSi matrix composite with the multiscale nacre-like architecture was designed and successfully realized by flake powder metallurgy followed by cold spraying (CS). The nanolaminated and ultrafine-grained structure initially created in the CNT/AlSi flaky powder was perfectly conserved, due to the typical ‘cold’ feature of CS. As discussed based on finite element analysis and single splat observation, self-alignment behavior of the flaky powders during impact also allowed the formation of the microlaminated structure. 7Layer-block tectonics of Cenozoic basements and formation of intra-plate basins in Nansha micro-plate, southern South China Sea显示文摘Layer-block tectonics (LBT) concept, with the core of pluralistic geodynamic outlook and multi- layer-sliding tectonic outlook, is one of new keys to study 3-dimensional solid and its 4-dimensional evolution history of global tectonic system controlled by global geodynamics system. The LBT concept is applied to study the lithospheric tectonics of the southern South China Sea (SCS). Based on the analysis of about 30 000 km of geophysical and geological data, some layer-blocks in the Nansha micro-plate can be divided as Nansha ultra-crustal layer-block, Zengmu crustal layer-block, Nanwei (Rifleman bank)-Andu (Ardasier bank) and Liyue (Reed bank)-North Palawan crustal layer-blocks, Andu-Bisheng and Liyue-Banyue basemental layer-blocks. The basic characteristics of the basemental layer-blocks have been dicussed, and three intra-plate basin groups are identified. The intra-plate basins within Nansha micro-plate can be divided into three basin groups of NanweiAndu, Feixin-Nanhua, and Liyue-North Palawan based on the different geodynamics. In the light of pluralistic geodynamic concept, the upheaving force induced by the mid-crust plastic layer is proposed as the main dynamical force which causes the formation of the intra-plate basins within the Nansha micro-plate. 10Efficient solar cells based on cosensitizing porphyrin dyes containing a wrapped donor, a wrapped π-framework and a substituted benzothiadiazole unit显示文摘Three new porphyrin dyes XW45-XW47 have been synthesized employing a dialkoxy-wrapped phenothiazine donor, a tetraalkoxy-wrapped porphyrin π-framework, a benzothiadiazole(BTD)-based auxiliary acceptor, and an anchoring benzoic acid group. On the basis of our previously reported dye XW36, XW45 was synthesized by introducing a BTD unit to broaden the absorption spectrum, further introducing a hexyl-substituent into the BTD unit afforded XW46, and an additional fluorine atom was introduced to the carboxyphenyl acceptor to afford XW47. As expected, the BTD unit obviously broadens and red-shifts the absorption threshold of XW45-XW47 to ca.750 nm. Dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs) were fabricated based on a cobalt electrolyte using chenodeoxycholic acid(CDCA) as the coadsorbent. Under full sun illumination, XW45 exhibits an efficiency of 9.73%, which is slightly lower than that of 10.19% obtained for the reference dye SM315. By contrast, XW46 and XW47 show higher efficiencies than SM315 owing to the improved anti-aggregation ability associated with the hexyl group on the BTD unit and better ICT effect induced by the fluorine atom on the carboxyphenyl unit. Thus, XW47 exhibits the highest efficiency of 10.41% among the porphyrin dyes. Furthermore, PT-C6 was used as the cosensitizer to improve the light harvesting ability and efficiencies of the cells due to its broad absorption within 350–560 nm. Thus, high efficiencies of 10.32%, 11.38% and 10.90% were achieved for the cosensitized solar cells based on XW45–XW47, respectively, owing to the obviously enhanced photocurrent density(JSC). In addition, under 30% full sun illumination, XW46+PT-C6 exhibits a high efficiency of 13.08%. 11Regulation of nitrogen starvation responses by the alarmone(p)ppGpp in rice显示文摘Nitrogen is an essential macronutrient for all living organisms and is critical for crop productivity and quality.In higher plants,inorganic nitrogen is absorbed through roots and then assimilated into amino acids by the highly conserved glutamine synthetase/glutamine:2-oxoglutarate aminotransferase(GS/GOGAT)cycle.How nitrogen metabolism and nitrogen starvation responses of plants are regulated remains largely unknown.Previous studies revealed that mutations in the rice ABNORMAL CYTOKININ RESPONSE1(ABC1)gene encoding Fd-GOGAT cause a typical nitrogen deficiency syndrome.Here,we show that ARE2(for ABC1 REPRESSOR2)is a key regulator of nitrogen starvation responses in rice.The are2 mutations partially rescue the nitrogen-deficient phenotype of abc1 and the are2 mutants show enhanced tolerance to nitrogen deficiency,suggesting that ARE2 genetically interacts with ABC1/Fd-GOGAT.ARE2 encodes a chloroplast-localized Rel A/Spo T homolog protein that catalyzes the hydrolysis of guanosine pentaphosphate or tetraphosphate(p)pp Gpp,an alarmone regulating the stringent response in bacteria under nutritional stress conditions.The are2 mutants accumulate excessive amounts of(p)pp Gpp,which correlate with lower levels of photosynthetic proteins and higher amino acid levels.Collectively,these observations suggest that the alarmone(p)pp Gpp mediates nitrogen stress responses and may constitute a highly conserved mechanism from bacteria to plants.Hanwen Li Jinqiang Nian Shuang Fang Meng Guo Xiahe Huang Fengxia Zhang Qing Wang Jian Zhang Jiaoteng Bai Guojun Dong Peiyong Xin Xianzhi Xie Fan Chen Guodong Wang Yingchun Wang Qian Qian Jianru Zuo Jinfang Chu Xiaohui Ma 2022Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,5:1
12Dynamic evolution of oxide scale on the surfaces of feed stock particles from cracking and segmenting to peel-off while cold spraying copper powder having a high oxygen content显示文摘The oxide scale present on the feedstock particles is critical for inter-particle bond formation in the cold spray(CS)coating process,therefore,oxide scale break-up is a prerequisite for clean metallic contact which greatly improves the quality of inter-particle bonding within the deposited coating.In general,a spray powder which contains a thicker oxide scale on its surface(i.e.,powders having high oxygen content)requires a higher critical particle velocity for coating formation,which also lowers the deposition efficiency(DE)making the whole process a challenging task.In this work,it is reported for the first time that an artificially oxidized copper(Cu)powder containing a high oxygen content of 0.81 wt.%with a thick surface oxide scale of 0.71μm.,can help achieve an astonishing increment in DE.A transition of surficial oxide scale evolution starting with crack initiations followed by segmenting to peeling-off was observed during the high velocity particle impact of the particles,which helps in achieving an astounding increment in DE.Single-particle deposit observations revealed that the thick oxide scale peels off from most of the sprayed powder surfaces during the high-velocity impact,which leaves a clean metallic surface on the deposited particle.This makes the successive particles to bond easily and thus leads to a higher DE.Further,owning to the peeling-off of the oxide scale from the feedstock particles,very few discontinuous oxide scale segments are retained at inter-particle boundaries ensuring a high electrical conductivity within the resulting deposit.Dependency of the oxide scale threshold thickness for peeling-off during the high velocity particle impact was also investigated.Xiao-Tao Luo Yi Ge Yingchun Xie Yingkang Wei Renzhong Huang Ninshu Ma Chidambaram Seshadri Ramachandran Chang-Jiu Li 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,8:1

16Experimental Study of Falling-film Mode Transitions between Horizontal Tubes in CaCl_2/Water Absorber显示文摘It is important to accurately predict the flow mode especially intertube falling-film mode of absorbent for its great impact on the heat and mass transfer in a horizontal tube absorber. In this paper, a test facility used to study falling-film outside horizontal tubes was built, and experiments were conducted to explore the intertube mode transitions with water-calcium chloride(CaCl2/water) solution in quiescent surroundings. The correlations which are more suitable for predicting CaCl2/water solution intertube mode transitions were developed. In general, the transitional Re will decrease with the solution concentration increasing, and its effects increase with the transitions from droplet mode to sheet mode. Hysteresis exists in all the mode transitions, and it is more obvious for low concentration solutions. 17Ductile and high strength Cu fabricated by solid-state cold spray additive manufacturing显示文摘In this work,pure Cu with excellent strength and ductility(UTS of 271 MPa,elongation to fracture of 43.5%,uniform elongation of 30%)was prepared using cold spray additive manufacturing(CSAM),realizing a breakthrough in the field.An in-depth investigation was conducted to reveal the microstructure evolution,strengthening and ductilization mechanisms of the CSAM Cu,as well as the single splats.The results show that the CSAM Cu possesses a unique heterogeneous microstructure with a bimodal grain structure and extensive infinitely circulating ring-mounted distribution of twinning.Based on the single splat observation,the entire copper particle forms a gradient nano-grained(GNG)structure after high-speed impact deposition.The GNG-structured single splat serves as a unit to build the heterogeneous microstructure with bimodal grain distribution during the successive deposition in CSAM.The results also show that CSAM can achieve synergistic strengthening and ductilization by controlling the grain refinement and dislocation density.This work provides potential for CSAM technique in manufacturing various metallic parts with the desired combination of high strength and good ductility without additional post-treatments.Chaoyue Chen Yingchun Xie Shuo Yin Wenya Li Xiaotao Luo Xinliang Xie Ruixin Zhao Chunming Deng Jiang Wang Hanlin Liao Min Liu Zhongming Ren 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,3:0

20A forkhead transcription factor contributes to the regulatory differences of pathogenicity in closely related fungal pathogens显示文摘Cryptococcus neoformans and its sister species Cryptococcus deuterogattii are important human fungal pathogens.Despite their phylogenetically close relationship,these two Cryptococcus pathogens are greatly different in their clinical characteristics.However,the determinants underlying the regulatory differences of their pathogenicity remain largely unknown.Here,we show that the forkhead transcription factor Hcm1 promotes infection in C.neoformans but not in C.deuterogattii.Monitoring in vitro and in vivo fitness outcomes of multiple clinical isolates from the two pathogens indicates that Hcm1 mediates pathogenicity in C.neoformans through its key involvement in oxidative stress defense.By comparison,Hcm1 is not critical for antioxidation in C.deuterogattii.Furthermore,we identified SRX1,which encodes the antioxidant sulfiredoxin,as a conserved target of Hcm1 in two Cryptococcus pathogens.Like HCM1,SRX1 had a greater role in antioxidation in C.neoformans than in C.deuterogattii.Significantly,overexpression of SRX1 can largely rescue the defective pathogenicity caused by the absence of Hcm1 in C.neoformans.Conversely,Srx1 is dispensable for virulence in C.deuterogattii.Overall,our findings demonstrate that the difference in the contribution of the antioxidant sulfiredoxin to oxidative stress defense underlies the Hcm1-mediated regulatory differences of pathogenicity in two closely related pathogens.Weixin Ke Yuyan Xie Yue Hu Hao Ding Xin Fan Jingjing Huang Xiuyun Tian Baokun Zhang Yingchun Xu Xiao Liu Ying Yang Linqi Wang 2022mLife2022,1,1:0
