2APOE and APOC1 gene polymorphisms are associated with cognitive impairment progression in Chinese patients with late-onset Alzheimer's disease显示文摘Current evidence shows that apolipoprotein E(APOE), apolipoprotein CI(APOC1) and low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein(LRP) variations are related to late-onset Alzheimer's disease. However, it remains unclear if genetic polymorphisms in these genes are associated with cognitive decline in late-onset Alzheimer's disease patients. We performed a 30-month longitudinal cohort study to investigate the relationship between Alzheimer's disease and APOE, APOC1, and LRP. In this study, 78 Chinese Han patients with late-onset Alzheimer's disease were recruited form Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China. APOE, APOC1, and LRP genotyping was performed using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphisms. The Mini-Mental State Examination and Clinical Dementia Rating Scale were used to assess patients' cognitive function. After a 30-month follow-up period, we found a significant reduction in Mini-Mental State Examination total score, a higher proportion of patients fulfilling cognitive impairment progression criteria, and a higher proportion of APOC1 H2 carriers in APOE ε4 carriers compared with non-carriers. In addition, the APOE ε4 allele frequency was significantly higher in the cognitive impairment progression group compared with the non-cognitive impairment progression group. 3Machine learning-based estimates of aboveground biomass of subalpine forests using Landsat 8 OLI and Sentinel-2B images in the Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve,Eastern Tibet Plateau显示文摘Accurate estimates of forest aboveground biomass(AGB)are critical for supporting strategies of ecosystem conservation and climate change mitigation.The Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve,located in Eastern Tibet Plateau,has rich forest resources on steep slopes and is very sensitive to climate change but plays an important role in the regulation of regional carbon cycles.However,an estimation of AGB of subalpine forests in the Nature Reserve has not been carried out and whether a global biomass model is available has not been determined.To provide this information,Landsat 8 OLI and Sentinel-2B data were combined to estimate subalpine forest AGB using linear regression,and two machine learning approaches–random forest and extreme gradient boosting,with 54 inventory plots.Regardless of forest type,Observed AGB of the Reserve varied from 61.7 to 475.1 Mg hawith an average of 180.6 Mg ha.Results indicate that integrating the Landsat 8 OLI and Sentinel-2B imagery significantly improved model efficiency regardless of modelling approaches.The results highlight a potential way to improve the prediction of forest AGB in mountainous regions.Modelled AGB indicated a strong spatial variability.However,the modelled biomass varied greatly with global biomass products,indicating that global biomass products should be evaluated in regional AGB estimates and more field observations are required,particularly for areas with complex terrain to improve model accuracy.Ke Luo Yufeng Wei Jie Du Liang Liu Xinrui Luo Yuehong Shi Xiangjun Pei Ningfei Lei Ci Song Jingji Li Xiaolu Tang 2022Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,4:2
4Rule-based scheduling of multi-stage multi-product batch plants with parallel units显示文摘A novel rule-based model for multi-stage multi-product scheduling problem(MMSP)in batch plants with parallel units is proposed.The scheduling problem is decomposed into two sub-problems of order assignment and order sequencing.Firstly,hierarchical scheduling strategy is presented for solving the former sub-problem,where the multi-stage multi-product batch process is divided into multiple sequentially connected single process stages,and then the production of orders are arranged in each single stage by using forward order assignment strategy and backward order assignment strategy respectively according to the feature of scheduling objective.Line-up competition algorithm(LCA)is presented to find out optimal order sequence and order assignment rule,which can minimize total flow time or maximize total weighted process time.Computational results show that the proposed approach can obtain better solutions than those of the literature for all scheduling problems with more than 10 orders.Moreover,with the problem size increasing,the solutions obtained by the proposed approach are improved remarkably.The proposed approach has the potential to solve large size MMSP.Bin Shi Xinrui Qian Shanshan Sun Liexiang Yan 2017Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2017,25,8:2

7The phosphorescence nanocomposite thin film with rich oxygen vacancy:Towards sensitive oxygen sensor显示文摘Organic room temperature phosphorescent(ORTP)materials provide an exciting research direction for phosphorescent oxygen(O_(2)) sensors due to their high sensitivity and rapid response to O_(2).However,most pure ORTP materials are tightly-packed aromatic compound crystals in a face-to-face manner,which largely prohibits effective O_(2) diffusion for sensing.Thus,how to solve this contradiction still faces huge challenges.Here,the use of organic phosphorescent indicator carbon dots(CDs),inorganic matrix layered double hydroxides(LDHs)and polymers(PVA)successfully prepared an ultra-long RTP composite film whose phosphorescence decay intensity is linearly related to O_(2) concentration.More importantly,the use of the abundant O_(2) defects(Vo)on the surface of the inorganic matrix LDHs to adsorb O_(2),which further accelerates the phosphorescence quenching of the thin film and improves the O_(2) response.This strategy will provide the possibility to develop high-sensitivity phosphorescent O_(2) sensors from a new perspective.Jian Yao Jian Kong Lingwei Kong Xinrui Wang Wenying Shi Chao Lu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8:0

9Construction of the panoptosis-related gene model and characterization of tumor microenvironment infiltration in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common fatal cancer worldwide,patients with HCC have a high mortality rate and poor prognosis.PANoptosis is a novel discovery of programmed cell death associated with cancer development.However,the role of PANoptosis in HCC remains obscure.In this study,we enrolled 274 PANoptosisrelated genes(PANRGs)and screened 8 genes to set up a prognostic model.A previous scoring system calculated PANscore was utilized to quantify the individual risk level of each HCC patient,and the reliability of the prognostic model has been validated in an external cohort.Nomogram constructed with PANscore and clinical characteristics were used to optimize individualized treatment for each patient.Single-cell analysis revealed a PANoptosis model associated with tumor immune cell infiltration,particularly natural killer(NK)cells.Further exploration of hub genes and assessment of the prognostic role of these 4 hub genes in HCC by quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR)and immunohistochemistry(IHC).In conclusion,we evaluated a PANoptosis-based prognostic model as a potential prognostic biomarker for HCC patients.XINRUI SHI XIA GAO WENCONG LIU XUEJIAO TANG JIAYI LIU DONGCHEN PAN XUEQING DUAN YUQING JIN WEIYAN REN LEI YANG WENXUAN LIU 2023Oncology Research2023,31,4:0
10Dual emission of singlet and triplet states boost the sensitivity of pressure-sensing显示文摘Pressure-related sensing materials in mechanochromic luminescent materials have received wide attention.However,at present,most piezochromic luminescence(PCL)materials have problems such as aggregation-caused quenching(ACQ)effect due to the presence of powder form,complicated preparation methods and fluorescence quenching effect under high pressure.To solve these problems,we employ three components containing carbon dots(CDs),layered double hydroxides(LDHs)and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)to construct the CDs-LDHs/PVA film.The LDHs can provide a rigid environment for CDs and improve the luminescent efficiency of CDs.The film shows high sensitivity,stability and reversibility.Moreover,the compressed film can recover to its original state by heating.Therefore,the PCL film with dual emission(fluorescence and phosphorescence)characteristic is constructed,which boosts the sensitivity of pressure-sensing.Xingyu Cui Xia Xing Xinrui Wang Wenying Shi Chao Lua 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,9:0
11Towards understanding the correlation between UO_2^(2+) extraction and substitute groups in 2,9-diamide-1,10-phenanthroline显示文摘2,9-Diamide-1,10-phenanthroline(DAPhen)ligands represent a new family of tetradentate extractants given their strong affinity to actinides and the CHON principle.Among this family,N,N′-diethyl-N,N′-ditolyl-2,9-diamide-1,10-phenanthroline(Et-TolDAPhen),initially reported by us,exhibits excellent selectivity towards actinides(U,Th,Am,Pu)over lanthanides and thus can be potentially applied in the group actinide extraction(GANEX)process for the group separation of actinides.In this article,by tailoring the lengths of alkyl chains,we synthesized other four DAPhen ligands with different substitute groups in the diamide moieties,and characterized the relationship between properties and substitute groups of DAPhen ligand.The extraction results show that three of the ligands exhibit high performance in UO_2^(2+)extraction from an acidic solution and the extracted UO_2^(2+)can be easily stripped by only using ultrapure water.Spectrophotometry titration confirms that UO_2^(2+)combined with all the four ligands in 1:1 mode.The extended X-ray absorption finestructure(EXAFS)study shows that six donor atoms comprise the first equatorial shell of the UO_2^(2+)ions bonded by the DAPhen ligands,among which two nitrogen and two oxygen atoms are from the DAPhen ligand,while other two oxygen atoms are from one nitrate ions.This article promises to provide basic data for assessing the feasibility of this kind of DAPhen ligands applied in actinides separation from nuclear wastes.Xinrui Zhang Liyong Yuan Zhifang Chai Weiqun Shi 2018Science China Chemistry2018,61,10:0
12The impact and heterogeneity analysis of digital financial inclusion on non-farm employment of rural labor显示文摘This study examines the effects of digital financial inclusion on non-farm employment of rural labor and the mediating mechanism of innovation and entrepreneurship activity using China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)and the provincial index of digital financial inclusion.Through the empirical test of the Probit model and mediation effect model,we found that:firstly,digital financial inclusion can promote non-farm employment of rural labor,with the level of digitalization having the most significant impact;secondly,by encouraging innovation and entrepreneurial activity,digital financial inclusion can promote non-farm employment of rural labor;thirdly,the driving effect of digital financial inclusion on non-farm employment of rural labor is more pronounced among the unmarried,eastern region,and male labor.Therefore,we should improve the construction of rural digital infrastructure and accelerate the development of inclusive rural finance to promote more diversified non-farm employment options for“disadvantaged groups”;encourage and support innovation at the government level,and create a favorable atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship.Simultaneously,farmers’digital literacy and financial knowledge should be improved so that more can adopt and take advantage of digital financial inclusion.Jin Ren Tingting Gao Xin Shi Xinrui Chen Keyi Mu 2023Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2023,21,2:0
13Modular Extremely Large-Scale Array Communication:Near-Field Modelling and Performance Analysis显示文摘This paper investigates the wireless communication with a novel architecture of antenna arrays,termed modular extremely large-scale array(XLarray),where array elements of an extremely large number/size are regularly mounted on a shared platform with both horizontally and vertically interlaced modules.Each module consists of a moderate/flexible number of array elements with the inter-element distance typically in the order of the signal wavelength,while different modules are separated by the relatively large inter-module distance for convenience of practical deployment.By accurately modelling the signal amplitudes and phases,as well as projected apertures across all modular elements,we analyse the near-field signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)performance for modular XL-array communications.Based on the non-uniform spherical wave(NUSW)modelling,the closed-form SNR expression is derived in terms of key system parameters,such as the overall modular array size,distances of adjacent modules along all dimensions,and the user's three-dimensional(3D)location.In addition,with the number of modules in different dimensions increasing infinitely,the asymptotic SNR scaling laws are revealed.Furthermore,we show that our proposed near-field modelling and performance analysis include the results for existing array architectures/modelling as special cases,e.g.,the collocated XL-array architecture,the uniform plane wave(UPW)based far-field modelling,and the modular extremely large-scale uniform linear array(XL-ULA)of onedimension.Extensive simulation results are presented to validate our findings.Xinrui Li Haiquan Lu Yong Zeng Shi Jin Rui Zhang 2023China Communications2023,20,4:0
14Antioxidant response to severe hypoxia in Brandt’s vole Lasiopodomys brandtii显示文摘The antioxidant defense system is essential for animals to cope with homeostasis disruption and overcome oxidative stress caused by adverse environmental conditions such as hypoxia.However,our understanding of how this system works in subterranean rodents remains limited.In this study,Brandt’s vole Lasiopodomys brandtii was exposed to normoxia(21%O_(2))or hypoxia(mild or severe hypoxia:10%or 5%O_(2))for 6 h.Changes in key enzymes of the classic enzymatic antioxidant system at both mRNA and enzyme activity levels,and tissue antioxidant levels of the low-molecular-weight antioxidant system were determined in brain,liver,and kidney.Transcript levels of the upstream regulator NF-E2-related factor 2(Nrf2)were also measured.We found that the mRNA expression of Nrf2 and its downstream antioxidant enzyme genes in L.brandtii were relatively conserved in response to hypoxia in most tissues and genes tested,except in the liver.Hepatic Nrf2,Cu/Zn SOD,GPx1,and GPx3 levels were significantly upregulated in response to mild hypoxia,whereas Mn SOD level decreased significantly in severe hypoxia.Unmatched with changes at the RNA level,constitutively high and relatively stable antioxidant enzyme activities were maintained throughout.For the low-molecular-weight antioxidant system,an abrupt increase of cerebral ascorbic acid(AA)levels in hypoxia indicated a tissue-specific antioxidant response.Although hypoxia did not cause significant oxidative damage in most tissues tested,the significant decrease in antioxidant enzyme activities(GPX and GR)and increase in lipid peroxidation in the kidney suggest that prolonged hypoxia may pose a critical threat to this species.Luye SHI Bojian CHEN Xinrui WANG Maolin HUANG Congcong QIAO Jingou WANG Zhenlong WANG 2022Integrative Zoology2022,17,4:0
