13D printed silk-gelatin hydrogel scaffold with different porous structure and cell seeding strategy for cartilage regeneration显示文摘Hydrogel scaffolds are attractive for tissue defect repair and reorganization because of their human tissue-like characteristics.However,most hydrogels offer limited cell growth and tissue formation ability due to their submicron-or nano-sized gel networks,which restrict the supply of oxygen,nutrients and inhibit the proliferation and differentiation of encapsulated cells.In recent years,3D printed hydrogels have shown great potential to overcome this problem by introducing macro-pores within scaffolds.In this study,we fabricated a macroporous hydrogel scaffold through horseradish peroxidase(HRP)-mediated crosslinking of silk fibroin(SF)and tyramine-substituted gelatin(GT)by extrusion-based low-temperature 3D printing.Through physicochemical characterization,we found that this hydrogel has excellent structural stability,suitable mechanical properties,and an adjustable degradation rate,thus satisfying the requirements for cartilage reconstruction.Cell suspension and aggregate seeding methods were developed to assess the inoculation efficiency of the hydrogel.Moreover,the chondrogenic differentiation of stem cells was explored.Stem cells in the hydrogel differentiated into hyaline cartilage when the cell aggregate seeding method was used and into fibrocartilage when the cell suspension was used.Finally,the effect of the hydrogel and stem cells were investigated in a rabbit cartilage defect model.After implantation for 12 and 16 weeks,histological evaluation of the sections was performed.We found that the enzymatic cross-linked and methanol treatment SF5GT15 hydrogel combined with cell aggregates promoted articular cartilage regeneration.In summary,this 3D printed macroporous SF-GT hydrogel combined with stem cell aggregates possesses excellent potential for application in cartilage tissue repair and regeneration.Qingtao Li Sheng Xu Qi Feng Qiyuan Dai Longtao Yao Yichen Zhang Huichang Gao Hua Dong Dafu Chen Xiaodong Cao 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,10:6
2First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 7Quantitative Surface Plasmon Interferometry via Upconversion Photoluminescence Mapping显示文摘Direct far-field visualization and characterization of surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs)are of great importance for fundamental studies and technological applications.To probe the evanescently confined plasmon fields,one usually requires advanced near-field techniques,which is typically not applicable for real-time,high-throughput detecting or mapping of SPPs in complicated environments.Here,we report the utilization of rare-earth-doped nanoparticles to quantitatively upconvert invisible,evanescently confined SPPs into visible photoluminescence emissions for direct far-field visualization of SPPs in a complicated environment.The observed interference fringes between the SPPs and the coherent incident light at the metal surface provide a quantitative measurement of the SPP wavelength and the SPP propagating length and the local dielectric environments.It thus creates a new signaling pathway to sensitively transduce the local dielectric environment change into interference periodicity variation,enabling a new design of directly measurable,spectrometer-free optical rulers for rapid,ultrasensitive label-free detection of various biomolecules,including streptavidin and prostate-specific antigen,down to the femtomolar level.Anxiang Yin Hao Jing Zhan Wu Qiyuan He Yiliu Wang Zhaoyang Lin Yuan Liu Mengning Ding Xu Xu Zhe Fei Jianhui Jiang Yu Huang Xiangfeng Duan 2019Research2019,,1:1

12Renminbi Nominal Effective Exchange Rate for Third Market Competition:An Approach Based on Disaggregated Trade Data显示文摘When measuring the nominal effective exchange rate(NEER),three factors should be considered:direct import competition,direct export competition and third market competition.The traditional NEER methodology using aggregated export trade data underestimates the competition between countries producing homogeneous goods,so that the weight of the effective exchange rates is too reliant on trade scale.Based on 2002 6-digit items of the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System,this paper employs the competitive stress index to adjust the weighting system of the renminbi NEER for third market competition.In the new weighting system,European countries and some emerging economies have higher weights compared with some of the developed countries,including the USA,Japan and resources-dominated economies.This research will facilitate the understanding of changes in China's export competitiveness.Qiyuan Xu Panpan Yang Yue Liu Zhinan Zhang 2013China & World Economy2013,21,5:0

14AM1 and ab initio studies on the internal reorganization energy of self-exchange electron transfer reactions of several quinone derivatives显示文摘The semiempirical AMI method, ah initio (HF/3-21G, 6-31G, 6-31G(d), 6-31+G(d)) and DFT (B3LYP/6-31G(d), 6-31+G(d)) methods were used to optimize the geometry of DDQ and its anion radical DDQ-. Nelsen’s model was used to calculate the internal reorganization energy λi of self-exchange electron transfer (ET) reactions. The calculated λi results of DDQ/DDQ-. by AM1 and B3LYP/ 6-31G(d), 6-31+G(d) methods are close to each other and consistent with the reported values; while those from Har-tree-Fock methods are too large because of not consideringthe effect of electron correlation. The structure and ET behavior of MQ0 /MQ0- couple were studied by AM1 and DFT (B3LYP/6-31G(d), 6-31+ G(d, p)) methods, and those of MQ0 /MQn-(n=1-7) were studied by AM1 method for the first time. The results indicate that the values of the heat of formation of MQn increases with the increasing of the length of the isoamylene substituent chains. 15Spectroscopic investigation on the telomeric DNA base sequence repeat显示文摘Telomeres are protein-DNA complexes at the terminals of linear chromosomes, which protect chromoso-mal integrity and maintain cellular replicative capacity. From single-cell organisms to advanced animals and plants, structures and functions of telomeres are both very conser-vative. In cells of human and vertebral animals, telomeric DNA base sequences all are (TTAGGG)n. In the present work, we have obtained absorption and fluorescence spectra measured from seven synthesized oligonucleotides to simu-late the telomeric DNA system and calculated their relative fluorescence quantum yields on which not only telomeric DNA characteristics are predicted but also possibly the shortened telomeric sequences during cell division are im-plied. Oligonucleotide 5’- TTAGGGTTAGGG holds a low relative fluorescence quantum yield and remarkable excitation energy innerconversion, which tallies with the telomeric sequence of (TTAGGG)n. 17Rapidly and mildly transferring anatase phase of graphene-activated TiO2 to rutile with elevated Schottky barrier:Facilitating interfacial hot electron injection for Vis-NIR driven photocatalysis显示文摘Visible and even infrared(IR)light-initiated hot electrons of graphene(Gr)catalysts are a promising driven power for green,safe,and sustainable H2O2 synthesis and organic synthesis without the limitation of bandgap-dominated narrow light absorption to visible light confronted by conventional photocatalyst.However,the life time of photogenerated hot electrons is too short to be efficiently used for various photocatalytic reactions.Here,we proposed a straightforward method to prolong the lifetime of photogenerated hot electrons from graphene by tuning the Schottky barrier at Gr/rutile interface to facilitate the hot electron injection.The rational design of Gr-coated TiO2 heterojunctions with interface synergy-induced decrease in the formation energy of the rutile phase makes the phase transfer of TiO2 support proceed smoothly and rapidly via ball milling.The optimized Gr/rutile dyad could provide a H2O2 yield of 1.05 mM·g-1·h-1 under visible light irradiation(λ≥400 nm),which is 30 times of the state-of-the-art noble-metal-free titanium oxide-based photocatalyst,and even achieves a H2O2 yield of 0.39 mM·g-1·h-1 on photoexcitation by near-infrared-region light(~800 nm).Weiyao Hu Qiyuan Li Dong Xu Guangyao Zhai Shinan Zhang Dong Li Xiaoxiao He Jinping Jia Jiesheng Chen Xinhao Li 2022Nano Research2022,15,12:0

19Fabrication and applications of van der Waals heterostructures显示文摘Van der Waals heterostructures(vdWHs) are showing considerable potential in both fundamental exploration and practical applications. Built upon the synthetic successes of(two-dimensional) 2D materials, several synthetic strategies of vdWHs have been developed,allowing the convenient fabrication of diverse vdWHs with decent controllability, quality, and scalability. This review first summarizes the current state of the art in synthetic strategies of vdWHs, including physical combination, deposition, solvothermal synthesis, and synchronous evolution. Then three major applications and their representative vdWH devices have been reviewed, including electronics(tunneling field effect transistors and 2D contact),optoelectronics(photodetector), and energy conversion(electrocatalysts and metal ion batteries), to unveil the potentials of vdWHs in practical applications and provide the general design principles of functional vdWHs for different applications. Besides, moiré superlattices based on vdWHs are discussed to showcase the importance of vdWHs as a platform for novel condensed matter physics. Finally, the crucial challenges towards ideal vdWHs with high performance are discussed, and the outlook for future development is presented.
