| 1 | Adsorptive desulfurization over hierarchical beta zeolite by alkaline treatment显示文摘Hierarchical beta zeolites with SiO2 /Al2O3 molar ratios of 16 to 25 were obtained by alkaline treatment in NaOH solution. The effects of treatment temperature on crystallinity, textural properties and chemical composites were studied by XRD, N2 sorption, FT-IR and XRF techniques. The desulfurization performance of parent and alkaline-treated beta zeolites was investigated by static absorption in four model fuels, containing four sulfur compounds of different molecular sizes like thiophene (TP), 3-methylthiophene (3-MT), benzothiophene (BT) and dibenzothiophene (DBT), respectively. The crystallinity was observed to be successfully maintained when the treatment temperature was below 50 C. Mesoporosity of beta zeolite was evidently developed with alkaline treatment. The formation of mesopore remarkably improved the desulfurization performance for TP, 3-MT, BT and DBT, especially for DBT with larger molecular diameter. Though the addition of toluene in the model fuels resulted in a significant drop of the desulfurization performance of mesoporous beta zeolite, the introduction of cerium ions to some extent mitigated the effect of toluene, which means that both the adsorbents porous structure and the adsorption mode are responsible for the desulfurization performance. | 2 | Effects of toluene on thiophene adsorption over NaY and Ce(IV)Y zeolites显示文摘Zeolites NaY and Ce(IV)Y were employed as adsorbents to remove organic sulfur compounds from model gasoline(MG) solutions with and without toluene in static adsorption experiments at room temperature(RT) and atmospheric pressure.The adsorbents were characterized by XRD,XRF and pyridine infrared spectrum(IR).The adsorption experiments show that the desulfurization performance of Ce(IV)Y is much better than that of NaY.The sulfur removal over both NaY and Ce(IV)Y decreases with the increase of toluene concentration in MG,however,the decline tendency on Ce(IV)Y is smooth,and it is steep on NaY.FT-IR spectra of thiophene adsorption indicate that thiophene molecules are mainly adsorbed on NaY via π electron interaction,but on Ce(IV)Y,in addition to the π electron interaction,both Ce4+-S direct interaction and protonation of thiophene also play important roles.Toluene molecules are adsorbed on NaY also via π electron interaction.Although the amount of Brnsted acid sites is increased due to the introduction of Ce4+ ions into NaY zeolite,it is not found to influence the adsorption mode of toluene over Ce(IV)Y.Compared with NaY zeolite,the improved desulfurization performance over Ce(IV)Y for removing organic sulfur compounds from MG solution,especially those containing large amount of aromatics,may be ascribed to the direct Ce(IV)-S interaction,which is much resistant to the influence resulted from toluene adsorption. | Yanchun Shi Xiaojian Yang Fuping Tian Cuiying Jia Yongying Chen | 2012 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,4: | 9 |

| 6 | Nonlinear relationship between enteric-coated mycophenolate sodium dose and mycophenolic acid exposure in Han kidney transplantation recipients显示文摘The aim of the research was to investigate the pharmacokinetics(PK) of enteric-coated mycophenolate sodium(EC-MPS) by quantification of the active metabolite of mycophenolic acid(MPA)after multiple escalating oral doses in Han kidney transplant recipients. A total of 28 Han postoperative kidney transplant recipients were given a multiple-dose of 540, 720 or 900 mg of EC-MPS two times a day in combination with tacrolimus for 6 days. Blood specimens were collected at each time point from0 to 12 h after EC-MPS administration. MPA plasma concentrations were measured by UPLC–UV. The relationship between the EC-MPS dose and its PK parameters was assessed. In the range from 540 to900 mg, C_(max) and AUC_(0–12h) did not increase with dose escalation. The AUC_(0–12h), C_(max), C_0 and T_(max) for the 540 720 and 900 mg doses were not significantly different, respectively(P 40.05). AUC_0–12 h and C_(max) were increased less than proportionally with increasing EC-MPS dose levels. Inter-individual variability in AUC_(0–12h), C_(max) and C_0 were considerable. | 7 | Changes in compressed neurons from dogs with acute and severe cauda equina constrictions following intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor-conjugated polymer nanoparticles显示文摘This study established a dog model of acute multiple cauda equina constriction by experimental constriction injury (48 hours) of the lumbosacral central processes in dorsal root ganglia neurons. The repair effect of intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor with 15 mg encapsulated biodegradable poly(lactide-co-glycolide) nanoparticles on this injury was then analyzed. Dorsal root ganglion cells (L7) of all experimental dogs were analyzed using hematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemistry at 1, 2 and 4 weeks following model induction. Intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor can relieve degeneration and inflammation, and elevate the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor in sensory neurons of compressed dorsal root ganglion. Simultaneously, intrathecal injection of brain-derived neurotrophic factor obviously improved neurological function in the dog model of acute multiple cauda equina constriction. | 10 | The inhibitor effect of RKIP on inflammasome activation and inflammasome-dependent diseases显示文摘Aberrant inflammasome activation contributes to the pathogenesis of various human diseases,including atherosclerosis,gout,and metabolic disorders.Elucidation of the underlying mechanism involved in the negative regulation of the inflammasome is important for developing new therapeutic targets for these diseases.Here,we showed that Raf kinase inhibitor protein(RKIP)negatively regulates the activation of the NLRP1,NLRP3,and NLRC4 inflammasomes.RKIP deficiency enhanced caspase-1 activation and IL-1P secretion via NLRP1,NLRP3,and NLRC4 Inflammasome activation In primary macrophages.The overexpression of RKIP in THP-1 cells inhibited NLRP1,NLRP3,and NLRC4 inflammasome activation.RKIP-deficient mice showed increased sensitivity to Aluminduced peritonitis and Salmonella typhimurium-induced inflammation,indicating that RKIP inhibits NLRP3 and NLRC4 inflammasome activation in vivo.Mechanistically,RKIP directly binds to apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a caspase-recruitment domain(ASC)and competes with NLRP1,NLRP3,or NLRC4 to interact with ASC thus interrupting inflammasome assembly and activation.The depletion of RKIP aggravated inflammasome-related diseases such as monosodium urate(MSU)-induced gouty arthritis and high-fat diet(HFD)-induced metabolic disorders.Furthermore,the expression of RKIP was substantially downregulated in patients with gouty arthritis or type 2 diabetes(T2D)compared to healthy controls.Collectively,our findings suggest that RKIP negatively regulates NLRP1,NLRP3,and NLRC4 inflammasome activation and is a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of inflammasome-related diseases. | Qiang Qin Huan Liu Jia’nan Shou Yu Jiang Hong Yu Xiaojian Wang | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,4: | 2 |

| 14 | Experimental investigation on the deformation characteristics of locking-steel-pipe(LSP)pile retaining structure during excavation in sand显示文摘Locking-steel-pipe(LSP)piles connect with adjacent joints to form a pile row enclosure structure.Due to the advantages of quick construction,efficiency in installation,and recycle utilization,the connected LSP piles are frequently used as retaining structure in deep excavation.However,systematic studies of the deformation mechanism of the LSP pile retaining structure are rarely reported,and it still lack of experimental evidence to optimize the design.In this study,a braced supported excavation experimental model test in sand was designed and conducted to investigate the deformation characteristics of LSP pile retaining structure.Three dimensional(3D)printing technique was creatively applied to manufacture LSP model piles.The experimental results show that,a“S”shaped distribution of bending moments is observed along pile shaft when excavation is executed;the deflection of pile shaft develops deep-seated movements toward the excavation side as excavation went deeper,resulting in a“bowl”ground settlement.With the deflection of LSP piles,a rotating trend was occurred between pairs of locking joint,and the severe open deformation of locking joint arose on excavation side.There was a gradual reduction in earth pressure behind the LSP pile retaining wall with excavation depth.The earth pressure between two struts level had no obvious changing,owing to the supported effect of inner struts. | Shi Wei Rongzhu Liang Guoxiong Mei M.Hesham El Naggar Lianwei Sun Jinqing Jia Xiaohua Bao Xiaojian Wu Wenbing Wu | 2022 | Underground Space2022,7,6: | 0 |
