1Agriculture Green Development: a model for China and the world显示文摘Realizing sustainable development has become a global priority.This holds,in particular,for agriculture.Recently,the United Nations launched the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs),and the Nineteenth National People’s Congress has delivered a national strategy for sustainable development in China—realizing green development.The overall objective of Agriculture Green Development(AGD)is to coordinate'green'with'development'to realize the transformation of current agriculture with high resource consumption and high environmental costs into a green agriculture and countryside with high productivity,high resource use efficiency and low environmental impact.This is a formidable task,requiring joint efforts of government,farmers,industry,educators and researchers.The innovative concept for AGD will focus on reconstructing the whole crop-animal production and food production-consumption system,with the emphasis on high thresholds for environmental standards and food quality as well as enhanced human well-being.This paper addresses the significance,challenges,framework,pathways and potential solutions for realizing AGD in China,and highlights the potential changes that will lead to a more sustainable agriculture in the future.Proposals include interdisciplinary innovations,whole food chain improvement and regional solutions.The implementation of AGD in China will provide important implications for the countries in developmental transition,and contribute to global sustainable development.Jianbo SHEN Qichao ZHU Xiaoqiang JIAO Hao YING Hongliang WANG Xin WEN Wen XU Tingyu LI Wenfeng CONG Xuejun LIU Yong HOU Zhenling CUI Oene OENEMA William JDAVIES Fusuo ZHANG 2020Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2020,7,1:18

3A new bone repair scaffold combined with chitosan/ hydroxyapatite and sustained releasing icariin显示文摘Icariin, a plant-derived flavonol glycoside, has been proved as an osteoinductive agent for bone tissue engineering. A new bone repair scaffold was generated by thorough mixing of icariin and chitosan/ hydroxyapatite (icariin-CS/HA) using freeze-drying technigue. Characteristics of morphology, mechanical properties, biocompatibility, drug release behavior and bone repair abilities in vivo were evaluated. The results show that drug loading process of icariin did not affect physical structure of CS/HA composite significantly but decreased mechanical properies of CS/HA composite, which happened with a high dosage; icariin-CS/HA had favorable cell compatibility and promoted osteogenic differentiation of hBMSCs; the controlled release of icariin was satisfactory and the release retained after 90 d in vitro. In addition, icariin-CS/HA scaffolds had favorable osteoconduction and osteoinduction in vivo, and could fill bone defect sites and stimulate newborn bone tissues formation at early stage. 4The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. 6Effect of the benzene ring of the dispersant on the rheological characteristics of coal-water slurry:Experiments and theoretical calculations显示文摘In this study,low-rank coal-water slurry(LCWS)was prepared using polyoxyethylene dodecylphenol ether(PDPE)and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether(PLE),respectively.A combination of experiments and simulations was used to investigate the pulping properties and microscopic mechanism of the LCWS samples prepared using the two agents,so as to explore the influence of benzene ring on the performance of dispersant.The results of the LCWS preparation experiments revealed that the pulp-forming performance of PDPE exceeded that of PLE.When LCWS concentration is 62%,64%,and 66%,the apparent viscosity corresponding to PDPE is 247.80,504.17,and 653.10 mPa·s,and the apparent viscosity corresponding to PLE is 548.10,1470.61,and 1549.98 mPa·s,respectively.The C_(1000)(When the apparent viscosity is 1000 mPa·s,the corresponding concentration of LCWS is defined as C_(1000))values of PDPE and PLE are 67.60%and 62.95%,respectively.In addition to the van der Waals forces and hydrogen bonds between the PDPE and/or PLE molecules and coal,the benzene rings of PDPE presentπ-πstacking effect with the aromatic rings of coal.That could facilitate and strengthen the adsorption of PDPE on coal,which would be conducive to further improving the dispersion of coal particles.The two dispersants have no significant difference in effect on the pyrolysis of LCWS.The simulation results indicated that the times for PDPE and PLE molecules to reach flat adsorption state on coal are approximately 290 and 565 ps,respectively.The self-diffusion coefficient(D)of the PDPE and PLE on coal is 3.16 x 10^(-6)and6.57×10^(-6)m~2/s,respectively,and their interaction energies with coal are 785.71 and 648.60 kcal/mol,respectively.The results of the simulation calculations demonstrated that PDPE adsorbed on coal easier than PLE,and its binding is more stable than that of PLE owing to theπ-πstacking effect,which is conducive to uniform dispersion of coal in solution.The simulation results confirmed the experimental results.Lin Li Chuandong Ma Shanpei Hu Meng He Hao Yu Qingbiao Wang Xiaoqiang Cao Xiaofang You 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,3:4

8A ratiometric benzothiazole-based fluorescence probe for selectively recognizing HClO and its practical applications显示文摘A ratiometric probe(HBT-HBZ)bearing 2-hydrazino benzothiazole and 3-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)-2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzaldehyde for sensing hypochlorous acid(HClO)with high selectivity and sensitivity is reported in this article.The fluorescence intensity ratios(I470nm/I572nm)of the probe with different concentrations of analyte showed excellent selectivity and a linear response to minor changes in HClO.The detection limit of 24 nmol/L suggests that the sensor is very sensitive to HClO.According to the series of performed experiments,HBT-HBZ has practical applications,such as the detection of HClO residues in tap water,which has been rarely reported.In addition,confocal laser microscopy experiments confirmed that HBT-HBZ can selectively recognize HClO in HeLa cells.A ratiometric probe(HBT-HBZ)for sensing HClO with high selectivity and sensitivity is reported in this article.The probe exhibited high selectivity for HClO among other ROS,RNS and anions.In addition,HBTHBZ has some practical applications such as the analysis of the HClO content in tap water.Furthermore,confocal fluorescence microscopy imaging showed that HBT-HBZ can be applied for detecting HClO in living cells.Kaijie Wang Dazhou Xi Chuantao Liu Yahui Chen Hao Gu Long Jiang Xiaoqiang Chen Fang Wang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,11:2

13VEGF-C/VEGFR-3/iNOS Signaling in Osteosarcoma MG63 Cells Mediates Stimulatory Effects on Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cell Proliferation显示文摘Objectives To assess the effects of vascular endothelial growth factor-C(VEGF-C)/vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-3(VEGFR-3)signaling on nitric oxide(NO)production and inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)expression in human osteosarcoma MG63 cells and the subsequent impact on the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs).Methods MG63 cells were treated with VEGF-C alone(VEGF-C group),VEGF-C+iNOS inhibitor aminoguanidine(AG;AG group),and VEGF-C+VEGFR-3 inhibitor MAZ51(MAZ51 group);untreated MG63 cells were used as controls.NO production was evaluated by a colorimetric method involving nitrate reductase.Meanwhile,mRNA and protein levels of iNOS were examined by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)and Western blot.To explore the effect of VEGF-C/VEGFR-3/iNOS signaling of MG63 cells on proliferation of HUVECs,we set up six groups:HUVECs,HUVECs+MG63,HUVECs+VEGF-C,HUVECs+MG63+VEGF-C,HUVECs+MG63+VEGF-C+AG,and HUVECs+MG63+VEGF-C+MAZ51 groups.The proliferation of HUVEC cells was assessed by Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8),5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine(EdU)incorporation assay,and proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)expression quantitation.Results VEGF-C treatment enhanced iNOS expression at both gene and protein levels(mRNA:LSD-t=4.152,P<0.01;protein:LSD-t=3.486,P<0.01)and increased NO release of MG63 cells(LSD-t=3.774,P<0.01);treatment with either AG or MAZ51 decreased these effects(mRNA:LSD-t=9.183,P<0.001;LSD-t=8.639,P<0.001;protein:LSD-t=5.170,P<0.001;LSD-t=7.25S,P<0.001;NO production:LSD-t=10.326,P<0.001;LSD-t=l0.540,P<0.001).Interestingly,co-incubation of HUVECs with MG63 cells and/or VEGF-C significantly promoted HUVEC proliferation(EdU:LSD-t=5.374,P<0.001;LSD-t=2.984,P<0.05;LSD-t=8.526,P<0.001;PCNA:LSD-t=9.267,P<0.001;LSD-t=5.515,P<0.001;LSD-t=14.873,P<0.001).The proliferation effects of HUVEC induced by MG63 cells and VEGF-C attenuated by the treatment of AG(EdU:LSD-t=10.770,P<0.001;PCNA:LSD-t=19.94O,P<0.001)or MAZ51(EdU:LSD-t=6.950,P<0.001;PCNA:LSD-t=14.001,P<0.001).Conclusion In human osteosarcoma MG63 cells,activation of VEGFR-3 by VEGF-C promotes iNOS expression and NO production,which subsequendy induces HUVEC proliferation.Jie Lv Jie Yuan Chaojian Xu Jiaqi Hao Yichuan Qin Xiaoqiang Wang Yongfeng Wang 2021Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2021,36,1:1

16Exosomes derived from human adipose-derived stem cells ameliorate osteoporosis through miR-335-3p/Aplnr axis显示文摘Treatment of osteoporosis is still a challenge in clinic,which leads to an increasing social burden as the aging of population.Exosomes originated from human adipose-derived stem cells(hASCs)hold promise to promote osteogenic differentiation,thus may ameliorate osteoporosis.The main purpose of this study was to investigate the novel usage of hASC-derived exosomes in the treatment of osteoporosis and their underlying mechanism.Two types of exosomes,i.e.,exosomes derived from hASCs cultured in proliferation medium(P-Exos)and osteogenic induction medium(O-Exos),were obtained.As compared with P-Exos,O-Exos could promote the osteogenic differentiation of mouse bone marrow-derived stem cells(mBMSCs)from osteoporotic mice in vitro and ameliorated osteoporosis in vivo.Then,microRNA(miRNA)-335-3p was identified to be the key differentially expressed microRNA between the two exosomes by small RNA sequencing,gene overexpression and knock-down,qRT-PCR,and dual-luciferase reporter assay,and Aplnr was confirmed to be the potential target gene of miRNA-335-3p.In addition,miR335-3p inhibitor-optimized O-Exos were established by transfection of miR-335-3p inhibitor,which significantly enhanced the osteogenic differentiation of mBMSCs in vitro,and bone density and number of trabecular bones in vivo compared with unoptimized O-Exos.Our results indicated that the ASC-exosome-based therapy brings new possibilities for osteoporosis treatment.Besides,engineered exosomes based on transfection of miRNA are a promising strategy to optimize the therapeutic effect of exosomes on osteoporosis.Chunhui Sheng Xiaodong Guo Zhuqing Wan Xiaoqiang Bai Hao Liu Xiao Zhang Ping Zhang Yunsong Liu Wenyue Li Yongsheng Zhou Longwei Lv 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:1

18Hierarchical Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2) heterostructures:A first principles calculation and application in corrosion/wear protection显示文摘Surface and interface engineering plays a crucial role in modulating the properties of materials,especially two-dimensional(2D)materials.Hence,a strategy,forming heterostructures with MoS_(2),is proposed to overcome the natural agglomeration of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene nanosheets.Most importantly,the interactions between Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx and MoS_(2) were elaborately investigated by first-principles calculations based on density functional theory(DFT)for the first time.The calculations demonstrate that van der Waals forces dominate the interface interactions of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and MoS_(2),rendering Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2) heterostructures favorable stability.The Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2) heterostructure composites were synthesized through a facile one-step hydrothermal method and exhibit a 2D hierarchical structure.Furthermore,the corrosion and tribological properties of epoxy composite coatings with varying proportions of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2) composites were studied in detail.As a result,the epoxy composite coating with 0.1 wt.%Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2) composites(Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2)-0.1)exhibits excellent corrosion protection and antiwear performances.The Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2)-0.1 keeps the largest low-frequency impedance modulus(|Z|_(0.)01 Hz)and coating resistance(R_(c))during the whole immersion period.Its wear rate is 0.09μm^(3)/(Nμm)under the load of 10 N,one half of that of pure epoxy coating(EP).This work further broadens the application of MXene-based heterostructure composites.Meng Cai Peng Feng Han Yan Yuting Li Shijie Song Wen Li Hao Li Xiaoqiang Fan Minhao Zhu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,21:1

20Study of sodium lignosulfonate prepare low-rank coal-water slurry:Experiments and simulations显示文摘The effect of sodium lignosulfonate(SL)as additive on the preparation of low-rank coal-water slurry(LCWS)was studied by experiments and molecular dynamics(MD)simulation s.The experimental results show that the appropriate amount of additives is beneficial to reduce the viscosity of LCWS and increase the slurry concentration.Adsorption isotherm studies showed that SL conforms to single-layer adsorption on the coal surface,andΔG_(ads)^(0) was negative,proving that the reaction was spontaneous.Zeta potential measurements showed that SL increased the negative charge on coal.FTIR scanning and XPS wide-range scanning were performed on the coal before and after adsorption,and it was found that the content of oxygen functional groups on coal increased after adsorption.Simulation results show that when a large number of SL molecules exist in the solution,some SL molecules will bind to hydrophobic hydrocarbon groups on coal.The rest of the SL molecule s,their hydrophobic alkyl tails,come into contact with each other and aggregate in solution.The agglomeration of SL molecules and the surface of coal with static electricity will also produce electrostatic interaction,which is conducive to the even dispersion of coal particles.The results of mean square displacement(MSD)and self-diffusion coefficient(D)show that the addition of SL reduces the diffusion rate of water molecules.Simulation results correspond to experimental results,indicating that MD simulation is accurate and feasible.Lin Li Chuandong Ma Mengyu Lin Mingpu Liu Hao Yu QingbiaoWang Xiaoqiang Cao Xiaofang You 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,1:1
