1Quantum key-recovery attack on Feistel structures显示文摘Post-quantum cryptography has drawn considerable attention from cryptologists on a global scale. At Asiacrypt 2017, Leander and May combined Grover's and Simon's quantum algorithms to break the FX-based block ciphers, which were introduced by Kilian and Rogaway to strengthen DES. In this study,we investigate the Feistel constructions using Grover's and Simon's algorithms to generate new quantum key-recovery attacks on different rounds of Feistel constructions. Our attacks require 2^(0.25nr-0.75n) quantum queries to break an r-round Feistel construction. The time complexity of our attacks is less than that observed for quantum brute-force search by a factor of 2^(0.75n). When compared with the best classical attacks, i.e.,Dinur et al.'s attacks at CRYPTO 2015, the time complexity is reduced by a factor of 2^(0.5n) without incurring any memory cost.Xiaoyang DONG Xiaoyun WANG 2018Science China(Information Sciences)2018,61,10:18
2Dry Friction and Wear Characteristics of Impregnated Graphite in a Corrosive Environment显示文摘Tribological properties of impregnated graphite are greatly influenced by preparation technology and working conditions and it’s highly susceptible to corrosion environmental impacts,but the experimental research about it are few.In this paper,three kinds of impregnated graphite samples are prepared with different degree of graphitization,the tribological properties of these samples in the dry friction environment and in a corrosive environment are analyzed and contrasted.The tribo-test results show that the friction coefficient of samples is reduced and the amount of wear of samples increase when the graphitization degree of samples increases in dry friction condition.While in a corrosive environment(samples are soaked N2O4),the friction coefficient and amount of wear are changed little if the graphitization degree of samples are low.If the degree of graphitization increase,the friction coefficient and amount of wear of samples increase too,the amount of wear is 2 to 3 times as the samples tested in the non-corrosive environment under pv value of 30MPa?m/s.The impregnated graphite,which friction coefficient is stable and graphitization degree is in mid level,such#2,is more appropriate to have a work in the corrosion conditions.In this paper,preparation and tribological properties especially in corrosive environment of the impregnated graphite is studied,the research conclusion can provide an experimental and theoretical basis for the selection and process improvement of graphite materials,and also provide some important design parameters for contact seal works in a corrosive environment.JIA Qian YUAN Xiaoyang ZHANG Guoyuan DONG Guangneng ZHAO Weigang 2014Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,5:15
3Quantum cryptanalysis on some generalized Feistel schemes显示文摘Post-quantum cryptography has attracted much attention from worldwide cryptologists. In ISIT 2010, Kuwakado and Morii gave a quantum distinguisher with polynomial time against 3-round Feistel networks. However, generalized Feistel schemes(GFS) have not been systematically investigated against quantum attacks. In this paper, we study the quantum distinguishers about some generalized Feistel schemes.For d-branch Type-1 GFS(CAST256-like Feistel structure), we introduce(2 d-1)-round quantum distinguishers with polynomial time. For 2 d-branch Type-2 GFS(RC6/CLEFIA-like Feistel structure), we give(2 d + 1)-round quantum distinguishers with polynomial time. Classically, Moriai and Vaudenay proved that a 7-round 4-branch Type-1 GFS and 5-round 4-branch Type-2 GFS are secure pseudo-random permutations. Obviously, they are no longer secure in quantum setting. Using the above quantum distinguishers, we introduce generic quantum key-recovery attacks by applying the combination of Simon's and Grover's algorithms recently proposed by Leander and May. We denote n as the bit length of a branch. For(d^2-d + 2)-round Type-1 GFS with d branches, the time complexity is 2^((1/2d^2-3/2d+2)·n/2), which is better than the quantum brute force search(Grover search) by a factor 2^((1/4d^2+1/4d)n). 4Clinical study using mesenchymal stem cells for the treatment of patients with severe COVID-19显示文摘The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)caused by SARS-CoV-2 was identified in December 2019.The symptoms include fever,cough,dyspnea,early symptom of sputum,and acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS).Mesenchymal stem cell(MSC)therapy is the immediate treatment used for patients with severe cases of COVID-19.Herein,we describe two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Wuhan to explore the role of MSC in the treatment of COVID-19.MSC transplantation increases the immune indicators(including CD4 and lymphocytes)and decreases the inflammation indicators(interleukin-6 and C-reactive protein).High-flow nasal cannula can be used as an initial support strategy for patients with ARDS.With MSC transplantation,the fracrion of inspired O2(Fi02)of the two patients gradually decreased while the oxygen saturation(Sa02)and partial pressure of oxygen(P02)improved.Additionally,the patients9 chest computed tomography showed that bilateral lung exudate lesions were adsorbed after MSC infusion.Results indicated that MSC transplantation provides clinical data on the treatment of COVID-19 and may serve as an alternative method for treating COVID-19,particularly in patients with ARDS.Lingling Tang Yingan Jiang Mengfei Zhu Lijun Chen Xiaoyang Zhou Chenliang Zhou Peng Ye Xiaobei Chen Baohong Wang Zhenyu Xu Qiang Zhang Xiaowei Xu Hainv Gao Xiaojun Wu Dong Li Wanli Jiang Jingjing Qu Charlie Xiang Lanjuan Li 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,5:8
5Deubiquitinase JOSD2 stabilizes YAP/TAZ to promote cholangiocarcinoma progression显示文摘Cholangiocarcinoma(CCA)has emerged as an intractable cancer with scanty therapeutic regimens.The aberrant activation of Yes-associated protein(YAP)and transcriptional co-activator with PDZ-binding motif(TAZ)are reported to be common in CCA patients.However,the underpinning mechanism remains poorly understood.Deubiquitinase(DUB)is regarded as a main orchestrator in maintaining protein homeostasis.Here,we identified Josephin domain-containing protein 2(JOSD2)as an essential DUB of YAP/TAZ that sustained the protein level through cleavage of polyubiquitin chains in a deubiquitinase activity-dependent manner.The depletion of JOSD2 promoted YAP/TAZ proteasomal degradation and significantly impeded CCA proliferation in vitro and in vivo.Further analysis has highlighted the positive correlation between JOSD2 and YAP abundance in CCA patient samples.Collectively,this study uncovers the regulatory effects of JOSD2 on YAP/TAZ protein stabilities and profiles its contribution in CCA malignant progression,which may provide a potential intervention target for YAP/TAZ-related CCA patients.Meijia Qian Fangjie Yan Weihua Wang Jiamin Du Tao Yuan Ruilin Wu Chenxi Zhao Jiao Wang Jiabin Lu Bo Zhang Nengming Lin Xin Dong Xiaoyang Dai Xiaowu Dong Bo Yang Hong Zhu Qiaojun He 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,12:5
6Distribution and sources of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and phthalic acid esters in water and surface sediment from the Three Gorges Reservoir显示文摘After the impoundment of the Three Gorges Reservoir(TGR), the hydrological situation of the reservoir has changed greatly. The concentration and distribution of typical persistent organic pollutants in water and sediment have also changed accordingly. In this study, the concentration, distribution and potential sources of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) and 6 phthalic acid esters(PAEs) during the water drawdown and impoundment periods were investigated in water and sediment from the TGR. According to our results, PAHs and PAEs showed temporal and spatial variations. The mean ΣPAH and ΣPAE concentrations in water and sediment were both higher during the water impoundment period than during the water drawdown period. The water samples from the main stream showed larger ΣPAH concentration fluctuations than those from tributaries. Both the PAH and PAE concentrations meet the Chinese national water environmental quality standard(GB 3838-2002). PAH monomers with 2–3 rings and 4 rings were dominant in water, and 4-ring and 5–6-ring PAHs were dominant in sediment. Di-n-butyl phthalate(DBP) and di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate(DEHP)were the dominant PAE pollutants in the TGR. DBP and DEHP had the highest concentrations in water and sediment, respectively. The main source of PAHs in water from the TGR was petroleum and emissions from coal and biomass combustion, whereas the main sources of PAHs in sediments included coal and biomass combustion, petroleum, and petroleum combustion. 8Related-tweakey impossible differential attack on reduced-round Deoxys-BC-256显示文摘Deoxys-BC is the internal tweakable block cipher of Deoxys, a third-round authenticated encryption candidate at the CAESAR competition. In this study, by adequately studying the tweakey schedule,we seek a six-round related-tweakey impossible distinguisher of Deoxys-BC-256, which is transformed from a3.5-round single-key impossible distinguisher of AES, by application of the mixed integer linear programming(MILP) method. We present a detailed description of this interesting transformation method and the MILPmodeling process. Based on this distinguisher, we mount a key-recovery attack on 10(out of 14) rounds of Deoxys-BC-256. Compared to previous results that are valid only when the key size > 204 and the tweak size < 52, our method can attack 10-round Deoxys-BC-256 as long as the key size 174 and the tweak size 82. For the popular setting in which the key size is 192 bits, we can attack one round more than previous studies. 11Impossible differential attack on Simpira v2显示文摘Simpira v2 is a family of cryptographic permutations proposed at ASIACRYPT 2016, and can be used to construct high throughput block ciphers by using the Even-Mansour construction, permutationbased hashing, and wide-block authenticated encryption. This paper shows a 9-round impossible differential of Simpira-4. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first 9-round impossible differential. To determine some efficient key recovery attacks on its block cipher mode(Even-Mansour construction with Simpira-4),we use some 6/7-round shrunken impossible differentials. Based on eight 6-round impossible differentials, we propose a series of 7-round key recovery attacks on the block cipher mode; each 6-round impossible differential helps recover 32 bits of the master key(512 bits), and in total, half of the master key bits are recovered.The attacks require 257 chosen plaintexts and 2577-round encryptions. Furthermore, based on ten 7-round impossible differentials, we add one round on the top or at the bottom to mount ten 8-round key recovery attacks on the block cipher mode. This helps recover the full key space(512 bits) with a data complexity of 2^(170) chosen plaintexts and time complexity of 21708-round encryptions. 12Synthesis of super-fine L1_(0)-FePt nanoparticles with high ordering degree by two-step sintering under high magnetic field显示文摘Super-fine L1_(0)-Fe Pt nanoparticles(NPs)with high ordering degree were successfully prepared by a modified two-step sintering method,which includes low-temperature pre-sintering,and the high magnetic field(HMF)assisted post-sintering processes.The particle size of the L1_(0)-FePt NPs was obviously refined by lowering the sintering temperature.By applying the HMF during the post-sintering process,the fine size characteristics of L1_(0)-Fe Pt NPs were retained,and the ordering degree was significantly improved.The L1_(0)-Fe Pt NPs with sizes of about 4.5 nm,ordering degree of 0.940,and coercivity of 22.01 k Oe were obtained by this two-step sintering under a magnetic field of 12 T.The mechanism investigation of HMF enhancing the ordering degree indicates that the HMF enhances lattice distortion and magnetization energy(Zeeman energy).The enhanced lattice distortions cause high stress existing in the lattice,which can effectively promote the disordered-order transition.When the magnetic field reaches to 3 T,the Zeeman energy of the NPs is higher than the thermal disturbing energy of the NPs,and the magnetization effect is stronger.Therefore,the HMF(higher than 3 T)can obviously improve the disorder-order transition by lowering the energy barrier and accelerating the orderly diffusions of atoms.The HMF is a promising assistant to synthesize the L1_(0)-phase NPs with both of high ordering degree and super-fine size.Dong Zhao Xiaoyang Wang Ling Chang Wenli Pei Chun Wu Fei Wang Luran Zhang Jianjun Wang Qiang Wang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,14:2

20Morphology characteristics of α precipitates related to the crystal defects and the strain accommodation of variant selection in a metastableβtitanium alloy显示文摘Profound and comprehensive investigations on the morphology characteristics ofαprecipitates are essential for the microstructural control of metastableβtitanium alloys.At the very beginning of aging treatment,intragranularαprecipitates with a dot-like morphology begin to generate nearby the dislocations,then those dot-likeαprecipitates with the same crystallographic orientation tend to connect with each other to develop a lath-like morphology.With the progress of aging treatment,the orientated lath-likeαprecipitates gradually combine with each other to form the V-shaped clusters or the triangular ones.The dislocations of{110}_(β)<111>βedge type are evidenced within theβgrains,and it is found that variant selection ofαprecipitates induced by the transformation strain and the interplay betweenαvariants and the dislocations are confirmed as the key factors for the formation of the V-shaped or triangular clusters.The results of this work could provide underlying knowledge on the morphology characteristics of intraguranularαprecipitates related to the crystal defects and the strain accommodation ofαvariants in metastableβtitanium alloys.Ruifeng Dong Hongchao Kou Yuhong Zhao Xiaoyang Zhang Ling Yang Hua Hou 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,36:0
