2Infinite horizon indefinite stochastic linear quadratic control for discrete-time systems显示文摘This paper discusses discrete-time stochastic linear quadratic(LQ)problem in the infinite horizon with state and control dependent noise,where the weighting matrices in the cost function are assumed to be indefinite.The problem gives rise to a generalized algebraic Riccati equation(GARE)that involves equality and inequality constraints.The well-posedness of the indefinite LQ problem is shown to be equivalent to the feasibility of a linear matrix inequality(LMI).Moreover,the existence of a stabilizing solution to the GARE is equivalent to the attainability of the LQ problem.All the optimal controls are obtained in terms of the solution to the GARE.Finally,we give an LMI-based approach to solve the GARE via a semidefinite programming.Weihai ZHANG Yan LI Xikui LIU 2015Control Theory and Technology2015,13,3:2

8Inner-pore reduction nucleation of palladium nanoparticles in highly conductive wurster-type covalent organic frameworks for efficient oxygen reduction electrocatalysis显示文摘Covalent organic frameworks(COFs)have emerged as a class of promising supports for electrocatalysis because of their advantages including good crystallinity,highly ordered pores,and structural diversity.However,their poor conductivity represents the main obstruction to their practical application.Here,we reported a novel synthesis strategy for synergistically endowing a triphenylamine-based COFs with improved electrical conductivity and excellent catalytic activity for oxygen reduction,via the in-situ redox deposition and confined growth of palladium nanoparticles inside the porous structure of COFs using reductive triphenylamine frameworks as reducing agent;meanwhile,the triphenylamine unit was oxidized to radical cation structure and affords radical cation COFs with conductivity as high as3.2*10^(-1) S m^(-1).Such a uniform confine palladium nanoparticle on highly conductive COFs makes it an efficient electrocatalyst for four-electron oxygen reduction reaction(4e-ORR),showing excellent activities and fast kinetics with a remarkable half-wave potential(E_(1/2))of 0.865 V and an ultralow Tafel slope of 39.7 mV dec^(-1) in alkaline media even in the absence of extra commercial conductive fillers.The generality of this strategy was proved by preparing the different metal and metal alloy nanoparticles supported on COFs(Au@COF,Pt@COF,AuPd@COF,AgPd@COF,and PtPd@COF)using reductive triphenylamine frameworks as reducing agent.This work not only provides a facile strategy for the fabrication of highly conductive COF supported ORR electrocatalysts,but also sheds new light on the practical application of Zn-air battery.Weiwen Wang Lu Zhang Tianping Wang Zhen Zhang Xiangnan Wang Chong Cheng Xikui Liu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,2:0
9Intrinsic spin Hall resonance in Bi-based Janus monolayers显示文摘The spin Hall resonance effect(SHRE)characterized by a large spin Hall conductivity(SHC)holds immense promise for achieving spin logic and memory devices.However,the identification of a material capable of achieving intrinsic SHRE remains elusive.Herein,we present compelling evidence of intrinsic SHRE within the Bi-based Janus BiXY(X=S,Se and Te;Y=Cl,Br and I)monolayers through first-principles calculations and an effective Hamiltonian model.We attribute the unusual scenario to the warping effect in the Janus monolayers which induces a non-zero out-of-plane spin component,accompanied by additional Rashba degenerate points.Furthermore,we develop a comprehensive effective Rashba Hamiltonian,incorporating high order terms of k to accurately describe the intrinsic SHRE and establish the resilience of this phenomenon in the Janus monolayers.Our study presents a captivating platform for exploring intrinsic SHRE and opens up exciting avenues for the development of novel spintronic devices.Lei Sun Xikui Ma Jian Liu Yangyang Li Mingwen Zhao 2023Nano Research2023,16,11:0
10Nicotine and menthol independently exert neuroprotective effects against cisplatin-or amyloid-toxicity by upregulating Bcl-xl via JNK activation in SH-SY5Y cells显示文摘Nicotine and menthol,agonists of nicotinic acetylcholine receptor(nAChR)and transient receptor potential melastatin type 8(TRPM8),serve important roles in the prevention of cell death-involved neurodegenerative diseases.However,the potential synergistic effects of nicotine and menthol on anti-apoptotic ability are still uncertain.In the present study,the potential synergistic effects of nicotine and menthol on cisplatin or amyloidβ1-42 induced cell model of the neurodegenerative diseases were explored by assessing cell viability,TNF-αexpression,caspase-3 activation,and the collapse of mitochondrial membrane potential in human SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells.Statistical significance was tested using Student’s t-test or one-way ANOVA with post hoc Newman-Keuls test.The results showed that:Firstly,SH-SY5Y cell viability was obviously increased by the treatments with nicotine and menthol.Secondly,nicotine and menthol independently alleviated cisplatin or amyloidβ1-42 induced TNF-αup-regulation.Thirdly,nicotine and menthol abrogated the effect of cisplatin and amyloidβ25-35 on caspase-3 activation.Interestingly,the effect of cisplatin and amyloidβ1-42 on the collapse of mitochondrial membrane potential was efficiently attenuated by nicotine and menthol treatments.Most importantly,the inhibition of c-jun kinase(JNK)activation abolished the effect of cisplatin,and amyloidβ1-42 stimulated Bcl-xl expression.All these findings indicate that nicotine and menthol independently exert neuroprotective effects by upregulating Bcl-xl via JNK activation.Nicotine and menthol augmented Bcl-xl expression and JNK phosphorylation,and thus they are potential therapeutic targets for altering the progress of neurodegenerative diseases.YIBIN RUAN ZHONGMING XIE QIONG LIU LIXIAO ZHANG XIKUI HAN XIAOYAN LIAO JIAN LIU FENGGUANG GAO 2021BIOCELL2021,45,4:0
11Oxygen-modulated metal nitride clusters with moderate binding ability to insoluble Li_(2)S_(x) for reversible polysulfide electrocatalysis显示文摘Multiphase sulfur redox reactions with advanced homogeneous and heterogeneous electrochemical processes in lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries possess sluggish kinetics.The slow kinetics leads to significant capacity decay during charge/discharge processes.Therefore,electrocatalysts with adequate sulfurredox properties are required to accelerate reversible polysulfide conversion in cathodes.In this study,we have fabricated an oxygen-modulated metal nitride cluster(C-MoN_(x)-O)that has a moderate binding ability to the insoluble Li_(2)S_(x)for reversible polysulfide electrocatalysis.A Li–S battery equipped with CMoN_(x)-O electrocatalyst displayed a high discharge capacity of 875 mAh g^(-1)at 0.5 C.The capacity decay rate of each cycle was only 0.10%after 280 cycles,which is much lower than the control groups(C-MoO_(x):0.16%;C-MoN_(x):0.21%).Kinetic studies and theoretical calculations suggest that C-MoN_(x)-O electrocatalyst presents a moderate binding ability to the insoluble Li_(2)S_(2)and Li_(2)S when compared to the C-MoO_(x)and C-MoN_(x)surfaces.Thus,the C-MoN_(x)-O can effectively immobilize and reversibly catalyze the solid–solid conversion of Li_(2)S_(2)–Li_(2)S during charge–discharge cycling,thus promoting reaction kinetics and eliminating the shuttle effect.This study to design oxygen-doped metal nitrides provides innovative structures and reversible solid–solid conversions to overcome the sluggish redox chemistry of polysulfides.Menghao Cheng Zhenyu Xing Rui Yan Zhenyang Zhao Tian Ma Mi Zhou Xikui Liu Shuang Li Chong Cheng 2023InfoMat2023,5,4:0
12Tunable sliding ferroelectricity and magnetoelectric coupling in two-dimensional multiferroic MnSe materials显示文摘Sliding ferroelectricity(SFE)found in two-dimensional(2D)van der Waals(vdW)materials,such as BN and transition-metal dichalcogenides bilayers,opens an avenue for 2D ferroelectric materials.Multiferroic coupling in 2D SFE materials brings us an alternative concept for spintronic memory devices.In this study,using first-principles calculations,we demonstrate that MnSe multilayers constructed by the recently-synthesized MnSe monolayer have large sliding-driven reversible out-of-plane electric polarization(~10.6 pC m^(−1))and moderate interlayer sliding barriers superior to the existing 2D SFE materials.Interestingly,the intrinsic electric polarization is accompanied by nonzero net magnetic moments which are also switchable via lateral interlayer sliding.Additionally,both SFE and magnetoelectric coupling can be effectively regulated by external strain and/or hole doping.Our findings suggest the potential of MnSe multilayers in 2D multiferroic and spintronic applications.Kehan Liu Xikui Ma Shuoke Xu Yangyang Li Mingwen Zhao 2023npj Computational Materials2023,,1:0
