| 1 | Survey of convex optimization for aerospace applications显示文摘Convex optimization is a class of mathematical programming problems with polynomial complexity for which state-of-the-art, highly efficient numerical algorithms with predeterminable computational bounds exist. Computational efficiency and tractability in aerospace engineering, especially in guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C), are of paramount importance. With theoretical guarantees on solutions and computational efficiency, convex optimization lends itself as a very appealing tool. Coinciding the strong drive toward autonomous operations of aerospace vehicles, convex optimization has seen rapidly increasing utility in solving aerospace GN&C problems with the potential for onboard real-time applications. This paper attempts to provide an overview on the problems to date in aerospace guidance, path planning, and control where convex optimization has been applied. Various convexification techniques are reviewed that have been used to convexify the originally nonconvex aerospace problems. Discussions on how to ensure the validity of the convexification process are provided. | 2 | Differential gene expression analysis of ‘Chili’ (Pyrus bretschneideri) fruit pericarp with two types of bagging treatments显示文摘Preharvest bagging is a simple,grower-friendly and safe physical protection technique commonly applied to many fruits,and the application of different fruit bags can have various effects.To explore the molecular mechanisms underlying the fruit quality effects of different bagging treatments,digital gene expression(DGE)profiling of bagged and unbagged‘Chili’(Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd.)pear pericarp during development was performed.Relative to unbagged fruit,a total of 3022 and 769 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were detected in the polyethylene(PE)-bagged and non-woven fabric-bagged fruit,respectively.DEGs annotated as photosynthesis-antenna proteins and photosynthesis metabolism pathway were upregulated in non-woven fabric-bagged fruit but downregulated in the PE-bagged fruit.Non-woven fabric bagging inhibited lignin synthesis in‘Chili’pear pericarp by downregulating DEGs involved in phenylpropanoid biosynthesis;consequently,the fruit lenticels in non-woven fabric-bagged fruit were smaller than those in the other treatments.The results indicate that the non-woven fabric bagging method has a positive effect on the appearance of‘Chili’pear fruit but neither of the two bagging treatments is conducive to the accumulation of soluble sugar. | Yuling Wang Xinfu Zhang Ran Wang Yingxin Bai Chenglian Liu Yongbing Yuan Yingjie Yang Shaolan Yang | 2017 | Horticulture Research2017,4,1: | 6 |

| 4 | Prediction of Flowing Bottomhole Pressures for Two-Phase Coalbed Methane Wells显示文摘A method is proposed to predict the flowing bottomhole pressures(FBHPs)for two-phase coalbed methane(CBM)wells.The mathematical models for both gas column pressure and two-phase fluid column pressure were developed based on the well liquid flow equation.FBHPs during the production were predicted by considering the effect of entrained liquid on gravitational gradients.Comparison of calculated BHPs by Cullender-Smith and proposed method was also studied.The results show that the proposed algorithm gives the desired accuracy of calculating BHPs in the lowproductivity and low-pressure CBM wells.FBHP is resulted from the combined action of wellhead pressure,gas column pressure and fluid column pressure.Variation of kinetic energy term,compressibility and friction factors with depth increments and liquid holdup with velocity should be considered to simulate the real BHPs adequately.BHP is a function of depth of each column segment.The small errors of less than 1.5%between the calculated and measured values are obtained with each segment within 25 m.Adjusting BHPs can effectively increase production pressure drop,which is beneficial to CBM desorption and enhances reservoir productivity.The increment of pressure drop from 5.37 MPa2 to 8.66 MPa2 leads to an increase of CBM production from 3270 m3/d to 6700 m3/d and is attributed to a decrease in BHP from 2.25 MPa to 1.33 MPa. | LIU Xinfu | 2013 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,5: | 5 |
| 5 | Approach to the Design Calculation of Sucker Rod Pumping Systems in Coalbed Methane Wells显示文摘The existing design of the pumping systems mainly focuses on the approximate computational formulae and procedures,which are developed based on the analytic approaches of conventional oil/gas fields.The calculation of polished rod loads usually just concerns about the static and inertial loads.And the computation of gearbox torque generally uses empirical formulae and correction factors.The above modeling procedures,if applied to the coalbed methane(CBM) wells,can not give the desired accuracy of the system design and its pertinent analysis.In this paper,based on the kinematic and dynamic analysis of the pumping system,the kinematic relation of polished rod is analyzed,and the variation of the total loads of polished rod is developed with the limits of CBM well conditions along the string.The gearbox torque calculation model is established by combining the counterbalance effect with the calculated dynamometer cards and torque factors.The application characteristics of this model are demonstrated by the example of ZH002-4 well in Qinshui basin.The interpretations of results show that the cranks of beam units should rotate in a counter clockwise direction viewed with the wellhead to the right.Compared with oil?gas fields,the dynamic and friction to polished rod load ratios are relatively high and the computation of polished rod loads should involve the static and inertial loads,as well as vibration and friction loads.And the dynamic load ratio decreases rapidly during the production.Besides,the total deformation of the string is small in CBM wells.As for balanced operation,the gearbox torque load usually has two approximately equal peaks and the magnitudes of instantaneous torque are just within 50% of unbalanced gearbox loadings.The proposed research improves efficiency of the pumping system,loads the pumping unit more uniformly,and provides the reasonable basis for selecting the units. | WANG Fudong LIU Xinfu Guan Zhichuan LIU Chunhua | 2011 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,6: | 4 |
| 6 | Effects of osmotic stress on the expression profiling of aquaporin genes in the roughskin sculpin(Trachidermus fasciatus)显示文摘Aquaporins(AQPs)are a family of integral membrane proteins that have been shown to be important for osmoregulation in many vertebrates.To identify potential stress resistance-related aqp genes in salinity adaptation of the roughskin sculpin Trachidermus fasciatus,we investigated the time-course expression dynamics of seven aquaporin genes(aqp1,4,7,8,10,11 and 12)in three osmoregulatory tissues(kidney,gill and intestine)and one metabolic tissue(liver).The fish were subjected to two different acute osmotic treatments(seawater-tofreshwater transfer respectively achieved in 1 h and 24 h,namely,E-acute and acute group).The expression profiling of the seven aqp genes were performed using quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR).At the time of all sampling time points(0 h,12 h,24 h and 48 h),no expression of aqp4 was found in the gill,liver and intestine;no expression of aqp7 was found in the gill and liver.Significant differences of aqp expression were determined in the four target tissues,and the mRNA levels were largely variable among gene members and tissues.Similar patterns of the time-course expression were detected in most of the aqp genes in T.fasciatus between the two acute groups,except that only one gene(aqp12)in the kidney and three genes(aqp7,aqp8 and aqp10)in the intestine revealed different expression patterns.These results suggest that the expression response of aqp genes was similar under osmotic changes with different rates. | Qian Ma Xinfu Liu Ang Li Shufang Liu Zhimeng Zhuang | 2020 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,6: | 3 |
| 7 | Dynamic behavior of coalbed methane flow along the annulus of single-phase production显示文摘Dynamic behavior of coalbed methane (CBM) flow will provide the theoretical basis to optimize production performance for a given well.A mathematical model is developed to simulate flowing pressures and pressure drops of CBM column from well head to bottom hole.The measured parameters and independent variables of flow rates,flowing pressures and temperatures are involved in CBM producing process along the annulus.The developed relationships are validated against full-scale measured data in single-phase CBM wellbores.The proposed methodology can analyze the dynamic behavior in CBM reservoir and process of CBM flow with an overall accuracy of 2%.The calculating process of flowing pressures involves friction factor with variable Reynolds number and CBM temperature and compressibility factor with gravitational gradients.The results showed that the effect of flowing pressure on CBM column was more obvious than that on CBM and water column accompanied by an increase of dynamic water level.The ratios of flowing pressure on increment of CBM column to the whole column increased with the declined flow rates of water column.Bottom-hole pressure declined with the decreased flowing pressure of CBM column along the annulus.It will lead to the results of the increased pressure drop of CBM column and CBM flow rate in single-phase CBM wellbores. | Xinfu Liu Chunhua Liu Guoqiang Liu | 2019 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2019,6,4: | 3 |
| 8 | Crystal-KMC: Parallel Software for Lattice Dynamics Monte Carlo Simulation of Metal Materials显示文摘Kinetic Monte Carlo(KMC) is a widely used method for studying the evolution of materials at the microcosmic level. At present, while there are many simulation software programs based on this algorithm, most focus on the verification of a certain phenomenon and have no analog-scale requirement, so many are serial in nature. The dynamic Monte Carlo algorithm is implemented using a parallel framework called SPPARKS, but it does not support the Embedded Atom Method(EAM) potential, which is commonly used in the dynamic simulation of metal materials. Metal material — the preferred material for most containers and components — plays an important role in many fields, including construction engineering and transportation. In this paper, we propose and describe the development of a parallel software program called Crystal-KMC, which is specifically used to simulate the lattice dynamics of metallic materials. This software uses MPI to achieve a parallel multiprocessing mode, which avoid the limitations of serial software in the analog scale. Finally, we describe the use of the parallel-KMC simulation software Crystal-KMC in simulating the diffusion of vacancies in iron, and analyze the experimental results. | 9 | Expression profiles of sex-related genes in gonads of genetic male Takifugu rubripes after 17β-estradiol immersion显示文摘Estradiol treatment during early life stages of tiger puffer Takifugu rubripes induces feminization in genetic males.However,the ovaries in genetic males may revert to testes once estradiol treatment is halted.Therefore studies should investigate molecular mechanisms underlying ovary-to-testis recovery in genetic males after treatment.In the present study,tiger puffer were exposed to 10,and 100μg/L 17β-estradiol(E 2)from 15 to 100 days post-hatching(dph),then gonad phenotypes and expression profi les of six sex-related genes(cyp19a,foxl2,dmrt1,amh,sox9a,and sox9b)were characterized after the exposure.Results showed that both 10 and 100μg/L E2 induced ovarian development in genetic males at 100 dph.However,all ovaries induced by 10μg/L E2 first developed into intersexual gonads and subsequently reverted to testes after the exposure.As for treatment of 100μg/L E2,while the rest of the ovaries maintained morphological stability,percentages of intersexual gonads reached 38%-57%,and none were reverted to testes.Increased mRNA levels of cyp19a,foxl2 and sox9b and decreased mRNA levels of dmrt1,amh,and sox9a were observed during the ovarian development in genetic males.While contrary gene expression profiles were detected during ovary-to-testis transformation.The mRNA levels of all the six genes were increased during the development of intersexual gonads.These results indicated that up-regulation of dmrt1,amh and sox9a is associated with initial ovary-to-intersexual transformation,and suppression of foxl2,cyp19a and sox9b is essential for complete ovary-to-testis recovery in genetic males.This research will help to trace the molecular processes underlying gonadal transformation in teleosts. | HU Peng LIU Bin MA Qian LIU Shufang LIU Xinfu ZHUANG Zhimeng | 2019 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,3: | 2 |

| 17 | Development of a target capture sequencing SNP genotyping platform for genetic analysis and genomic breeding in rapeseed显示文摘Rapeseed(Brassica napus)is an oil crop grown worldwide,making it a key plant species in molecular breeding research.However,the complexity of its polyploid genome increases sequencing costs and reduces sequencing accuracy.Target capture coupled with high-throughput sequencing is an efficient approach for detecting genetic variation at genomic regions or loci of interest.In this study,588 resequenced accessions of rapeseed were used to develop a target capture sequencing SNP genotyping platform named BnaPan50T.The platform comprised 54,765,with 54,058 resequenced markers from the pan-genome,and 855 variant trait-associated markers for 12 agronomic traits.The capture quality of BnaPan50T was demonstrated well in 12 typical accessions.Compared with a conventional genotyping array,BnaPan50T has a high SNP density and a high proportion of SNPs in unique physical positions and in annotated functional genes,promising wide application.Target capture sequencing and wholegenome resequencing in 90 doubled-haploid lines yielded 60%specificity,78%uniformity within tenfold coverage range,and 93%genotyping accuracy for the platform.BnaPan50T was used to construct a genetic map for quantitative trait loci(QTL)mapping,identify 21 unique QTL,and predict several candidate genes for yield-related traits in multiple environments.A set of 132 core SNP loci was selected from BnaPan50T to construct DNA fingerprints and germplasm identification resources.This study provides genomics resources to support target capture sequencing,genetic analysis and genomic breeding of rapeseed. | Xiaodong Li Xumei Liu Yonghai Fan Shengting Li Mengna Yu Mingchao Qian Yuling Chen Hongqiao Chen Xinchun Li Bei Liu Xinfu Xu Cunmin Qu Jiana Li Kun Lu | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,2: | 1 |
| 18 | A new approach for high fidelity seismic data recovery by fractal interpolation显示文摘Recovering accurate data is important for both earthquake and exploration seismology studies, when data are sparsely sampled or partially missing. We present a method that allows for precise and accurate recovery of seismic data using a localized fractal recovery method. This method requires that the data are self-similar on local and global spatial scales. We present examples that show that the intrinsic structure associated with seismic data can be easily and accurately recovered by using this approach. This result, in turn, indicates that seismic data are indeed self-similar on local and global scales. This method is applicable not only for seismic studies, but also for any field studies that require accurate recovery of data from sparsely sampled datasets with partially missing data.
