1An Integrated Cyber-Physical Simulation Environment for Smart Grid Applications显示文摘The concept of Cyber-Physical Systems(CPSs),which combine computation,networking,and physical processes,is considered to be beneficial to smart grid applications. This study presents an integrated simulation environment to provide a unified platform for the investigation of smart grid applications involving power grid monitoring,communication,and control. In contrast to the existing approaches,this environment allows the network simulator to operate independently,importing its results to the power system simulation. This resolves conflicts between discrete event simulation and continuous simulation. In addition,several data compensation methods are proposed and investigated under different network delay conditions. 2Weathering of Pisha-Sandstones in the Wind-Water Erosion Crisscross Region on the Loess Plateau显示文摘Two types of pisha-sandstones of purple sandstones and gray sandstones,widely distributing in the wind-water erosion crisscross region of China,were selected and used in laboratory experiments for a better understanding of the drying-wetting-freezing weathering process resulting from the apportionment of water or salt solution to rock samples.Weathering experiments were carried out under the conditions of environment control(including temperature,moisture and salt solution).All rock samples were frequently subjected to 140 drying-wetting-freezing cycles.The influences of weathering process were evaluated.It was found that the different treatments of moisture and salt solution applications could affect the nature of the weathering products resulting from drying-wetting-freezing.It was also observed that salt solution could effectively alleviate the weathering of pisha-sandstones.Although not all the observations could be explained,it was apparent that simulated environmental factors had both direct and indirect effects on the weathering of rocks.NI Hanbin ZHANG Liping ZHANG Dengrong WU Xiyuan FU Xingtao 2008Journal of Mountain Science2008,5,4:11
3First dark matter search results from the PandaX-Ⅰ experiment显示文摘We report on the first dark-matter(DM)search results from PandaX-I,a low threshold dual-phase xenon experiment operating at the China JinPing Underground Laboratory.In the 37-kg liquid xenon target with 17.4 live-days of exposure,no DM particle candidate event was found.This result sets a stringent limit for low-mass DM particles and disfavors the interpretation of previously-reported positive experimental results.The minimum upper limit,3.7×10-44cm2,for the spin-independent isoscalar DM-particle-nucleon scattering cross section is obtained at a DM-particle mass of 49 GeV/c2at 90%confidence level.XIAO MengJiao XIAO Xiang ZHAO Li CAO XiGuang CHEN Xun CHEN YunHua CUI XiangYi FANG DeQing FU ChangBo GIBONI Karl L. 5Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). 7Paleoenvironmental implications of high-density records in Co-rich seamount crusts from the Pacific Ocean显示文摘Co-rich seamount crusts have been shown to possess great potential for providing information on paleoceanographic and paleoclimatic changes. High resolution data are essential to decipher and correctly understand such high-density records. With the development of modern microprobe techniques, detailed sampling of crusts can be performed and it is possible to retrieve detailed information about envi- ronmental changes recorded in the seamount crusts. We report here geochemical results of more than 40 elements (including all rare earth elements) of four Co-rich seamount crust samples, which were collected from seamounts in the central and western Pacific Ocean. These data were obtained with two micro-probe techniques: Electron Probe Micro Analyzer and Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry. The chronological framework of the seamount crust samples was determined using the cos- mogenic 10Be and the Co-chronometer. Records of elemental composition, P, and Al/(Fe + Mn) and Y/Ho ratios across the sections of the four samples are used to identify paleoceanographic and paleoclimatic events over the past ~30 Ma. These data show that: (1) Al/(Fe + Mn) in the western Pacific seamount crust is a useful proxy for the assessment of changes of source materials related to the variability of the Asian monsoon; (2) P and Y/Ho can be used as proxies to infer biogenic episodes. 10Five‑year outcomes of EVO implantable collamer lens implantation for the correction of high myopia and super high myopia显示文摘Background:To evaluate the long-term safety,efficacy,predictability,and stability of implantable collamer lens with a central hole(EVO ICL)implantation for correcting high myopia(HM)and super high myopia(SHM).Methods:This prospective study evaluated 83 eyes of 46 patients who were divided into groups based on their spherical equivalent refractive error(SE):HM group(−12 D≤SE<−6 D)and SHM group(SE<−12 D).They were followed up for 5 years after ICL implantation;assessments of uncorrected distance visual acuity(UDVA),corrected distance visual acuity(CDVA),manifest refractive error,axial length,intraocular pressure,corneal endothelial cell density,and vault were conducted,and a questionnaire was administered.ResuIts:At 5 years postoperatively,the safety indices of the HM and SHM groups were 1.03±0.10 and 1.32±0.39,and the efficacy indices were 0.83±0.25 and 0.86±0.32,respectively.In the HM group,60.47%and 79.07%of the eyes were within±0.50 D and±1.00 D of the attempted correction,while it was achieved for 22.50%and 47.50%of the eyes in the SHM group,respectively.The SE of the HM group decreased from−9.72±1.41 D preoperatively to 0.04±0.39 D 1 month postoperatively and−0.67±0.57 D 5 years postoperatively,while in the SHM group,it decreased from−15.78±3.06 D preoperatively to−0.69±0.97 D 1 month postoperatively and−1.74±1.19 D 5 years postoperatively.Conclusion:EVO ICL implantation is safe,effective,and predictable for correcting HM and SHM.CDVA improved more after surgery for SHM,but the growth of axial length still needs attention.Xun Chen Xuanqi Wang Yilin Xu Mingrui Cheng Tian Han LingLing Niu Xiaoying Wang Xingtao Zhou 2021Eye and Vision2021,8,1:4

12Radiative forcing and temperature response of dust aerosols over East Asia in the latest decade显示文摘A regional climate model,RegCM3,coupled with an online dust module,is used to simulate the radiative forcing(RF) and temperature response of dust aerosols over East Asia in the latest decade(2000-2009).The simulation results show that the geographical and seasonal differences of dust aerosols distribution over East Asia are obvious.There exist two extremes of dust aerosols with column burden(CB) greater than 1,000 mg/m 2 ;one is in the Taklimakan Desert of the Xinjiang Uigur Autonomous Region,China,and the other is in the Badain Jaran Desert of the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region,China.The maximum value of CB appears in spring,the secondary maximum in winter,and the minimum in autumn.The RF of dust aerosols has distribution characteristics similar to CB.The regional averaged RF over East Asia at the top of atmosphere(TOARF) is 1.72 W/m2 in spring and 1.17 W/m2 in autumn,and that at the surface(SURRF) is 4.34 W/m2 in spring and 2.33 W/m2 in autumn.The temperature at the surface is decreased by dust aerosols;the regional averaged temperature decrease over East Asia is 0.154 °C in spring and 0.085 °C in autumn.There are different impacts of dust aerosols on air temperature at different heights.The air temperature is decreased by dust aerosols in the lower troposphere,but the extent of the decrease diminishes with increasing height.The air temperature is in fact increased by dust aerosols at the height of 300-400 hPa in spring,which is greatly different from that in autumn.XingTao Su HanJie Wang ZhiBiao Zhang 2012Research in Cold and Arid Regions2012,4,4:3
13Simulation on the spatio-temporal distribution and emission flux of dust aerosol over East Asia in 2000-2009显示文摘A regional climate model (RegCM3), coupled with an online dust module, is used to simulate the spatio-temporal distribution and emission flux of dust aerosol (smaller than 20 μm in diameter) over East Asia in the period from 2000 to 2009. The model performance is firstly evaluated against available observations. Simulation results show that the model can capture the characteristics of spatio-temporal distribution of dust aerosol very well over East Asia. There always exist two extremes of dust aerosol optical depth (AOD) and column burden (CB), one is in the Taklimakan Desert of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China, and the other is in the Badain Jaran Desert of Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, China. The maximum value of CB appears in spring, secondary maximum in winter and minimum in autumn. To the east of 110°E, dust is transported eastward from a maximum center at a height of 700 hPa over the East Asian continent. Dust emission sources are mainly located in the Taklimakan Desert, Badain Jaran Desert, North Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and Southwest Mongolia. There is also an obvious seasonal variation of dust emission flux (EF). 14Organic salt mediated growth of phase pure and stable all-inorganic CsPbX3(X = I, Br) perovskites for efficient photovoltaics显示文摘All-inorganic CsPbX3(X = I, Br) perovskites without organic component are promising for long-term stability but face main challenges of facile fabrication and phase stability. Here we discover a general organic methylamine acetate salt mediated growth method to deposit high quality phase pure and stable CsPbX3(X = I, Br) perovskite films via a novel precursor consisting of stoichiometric cesium acetate(CsAc),methylamine halide(MAX) and lead halide(PbX2). Interestingly, these organic salts of CsAc and MAX could efficiently promote the crystallization process especially lower the crystallization temperature,but do not introduce the incorporation of organic MA cation into all-inorganic CsPbX3 perovskites.These phase pure and stable CsPbX3 perovskites with tunable band gaps can be fabricated into high efficiency photovoltaics. 15Negative cross-resistance of a pyrethroid-resistant Drosophila mutant to Phryma leptostachya-derived haedoxan A显示文摘Voltage-gated sodium channels are the primary target of pyrethroid insecticides.Mutations in sodium channel confer knockdown resistance(kdr)to pyrethroids in various arthropod pests.Haedoxan A(HA)is the major insecticidal component from Phryma leptostachya.It has been shown that HA alters electrical responses at the Drosophila neuromuscular junction and modifies the gating properties of cockroach sodium channels expressed in Xenopus oocytes.However,whether sodium channel mutations that confer pyrethroid resistance also affect the action of HA is unknown.In this study,we conducted bioassays using HA and permethrin in two Drosophila melanogaster strains:w^(1118),an insecticide-susceptible strain,and para^(tsl),a pyrethroid-resistant strain due to a I265N mutation in the sodium channel,and identified a new case of negative cross-resistance(NCR)between permethrin and HA.Both para^(tsl) larvae and adults were more resistant to permethrin,as expected.However,both para^(tsl) larvae and adults were more sensitive to HA compared to w^(1118).We confirmed that the I265N mutation reduced the sensitivity to permethrin of a Drosophila sodium channel variant,DmNa_(v)22,expressed in Xenopus oocytes.Interestingly,the I265N mutation also abolished the effect of HA on sodium channels.Further characterization showed that I265 on the sodium channels is critical for the action of both pyrethroids and HA on sodium channels,pointing to an overlapping mode of action between pyrethroids and HA on the sodium channel.Overall,our results suggest an I265N-independnt mechanism(s)in para^(tsl) flies that is responsible for the NCR between permethrin and HA at the whole insect level.Xingtao Qie Yuzhe Du Ahmed A.A.Aioub Ke Dong Zhaonong Hu 2022Insect Science2022,29,3:2

17In situ growth of ultra-thin perovskitoid layer to stabilize and passivate MAPbI_(3)for efficient and stable photovoltaics显示文摘The efficiency and stability of typical three-dimensional(3D)MAPbI_(3)perovskite-based solar cells are highly restricted,due to the weak interaction between methylammonium(MA^(+))and[PbI 6]4-octahedra in the 3D structure,which can cause the ion migration and the related defects.Here,we found that the in situ-grown perovskitoid TEAPbI_(3)layer on 3D MAPbI_(3)can inhibit the MA^(+)migration in a polar solvent,thus enhancing the thermal and moisture stability of perovskite films.The crystal structure and orientation of TEAPbI_(3)are reported for the first time by single crystal and synchrotron radiation analysis.The ultra-thin perovskitoid layer can reduce the trap states and accelerate photo-carrier diffusion in perovskite solar cells,as confirmed by ultra-fast spectroscopy.The power conversion efficiency of TEAPbI_(3)-MAPbI_(3)based solar cells increases from 18.87%to 21.79%with enhanced stability.This work suggests that passivation and stabilization by in situ-grown perovskitoid can be a promising strategy for efficient and stable perovskite solar cells.Yanfeng Miao Xingtao Wang Haijuan Zhang Taiyang Zhang Ning Wei Xiaomin Liu Yuetian Chen Jie Chen Yixin Zhao 2021eScience2021,1,1:2
18Controlling phase transfer of molybdenum carbides by various metals for highly efficient hydrogen production显示文摘The α phase Mo carbide has been widely investigated recently for its high activity in hydrogen production from water gas shift (WGS) reaction. However, high loading of noble metals as well as high economic and environmental cost derived from high-temperature ammonification and carbonization process will lead to high cost of hydrogen production. Thus, the efficient controlling of phase transfer is promising. Herein, metals (Au, Pt, Rh, Cu) with a wide range of loadings were impregnated on flame spray pyrolysis (FSP) made MoO_(3) to produce Mo carbides by one-step carbonization. A breakthrough high metal-normalized hydrogen production rate of 213 mmol H2·gmetal^(-1)·s^(-1) was achieved on 0.025 wt% Rh/MoCx, which was much higher than Pt and Au based Mo carbides ever reported. The addition of trace Rh induced direct MoO_(3) transformation to high purity α-MoC_(1-x) in one-step carbonization instead of two-steps ammonification and carbonization process. In comparison to Rh, the addition of Pt, Au and Cu tend to transfer MoO_(3) into β-Mo2C at the same conditions. Besides, the one with 2 wt% Rh exhibited high stability in WGS reaction even at high temperature (300 ℃) due to its inhibition on carbides oxidation induced by H2O. We demonstrate that it is feasible to control phase transfer of Mo carbides even by trace amount of metals to simplify the production process of catalysts.
