| 4 | Diclofop-methyl affects microbial rhizosphere community and induces systemic acquired resistance in rice显示文摘Diclofop-methyl(DM),a widely used herbicide in food crops,may partly contaminate the soil surface of natural ecosystems in agricultural area and exert toxic effects at low dose to nontarget plants.Even though rhizosphere microorganisms strongly interact with root cells,little is known regarding their potential modulating effect on herbicide toxicity in plants.Here we exposed rice seedlings(Xiushui 63) to 100 μg/L DM for 2 to 8 days and studied the effects of DM on rice rhizosphere microorganisms,rice systemic acquired resistance(SAR) and rice-microorganisms interactions.The results of metagenomic 16 S rDNA Illumina tags show that DM increases bacterial biomass and affects their community structure in the rice rhizosphere.After DM treatment,the relative abundance of the bacterium genera Massilia and Anderseniella increased the most relative to the control.In parallel,malate and oxalate exudation by rice roots increased,potentially acting as a carbon source for several rhizosphere bacteria.Transcriptomic analyses suggest that DM induced SAR in rice seedlings through the salicylic acid(but not the jasmonic acid) signal pathway.This response to DM stress conferred resistance to infection by a pathogenic bacterium,but was not influenced by the presence of bacteria in the rhizosphere since SAR transcripts did not change significantly in xenic and axenic plant roots exposed to DM.The present study provides new insights on the response of rice and its associated microorganisms to DM stress. | Si Chen Xingxing Li Michel Lavoie Yujian Jin Jiahui Xu Zhengwei Fu Haifeng Qian | 2017 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,1: | 8 |

| 6 | The computational fluid dynamic modeling of downwash flow field for a six-rotor UAV显示文摘The downwash flow field of the multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV), formed by propellers during operation, has a significant influence on the deposition, drift and distribution of droplets as well as the spray width of the UAV for plant protection. To study the general characteristics of the distribution of the downwash airflow and simulate the static wind field of multi-rotor UAVs in hovering state, a 3 D full-size physical model of JF01-10 six-rotor plant protection UAV was constructed using Solid Works. The entire flow field surrounding the UAV and the rotation flow fields around the six rotors were established in UG software. The physical model and flow fields were meshed using unstructured tetrahedral elements in ANSYS software.Finally, the downwash flow field of UAV was simulated.With an increased hovering height, the ground effect was reduced and the minimum current velocity increased initially and then decreased. In addition, the spatial proportion of the turbulence occupied decreased. Furthermore, the appropriate operational hovering height for the JF01-10 is considered to be 3 m. | 10 | Preparation, characterization, pharmacokinetics and anticancer effects of PEGylated β-elemene liposomes显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to develop a new polyethylene glycol(PEG)ylatedβ-elemene liposome(PEG-Lipo-β-E)and evaluate its characterization,pharmacokinetics,antitumor effects and safety in vitro and in vivo.Methods:The liposomes were prepared by ethanol injection and high-pressure micro-jet homogenization.Characterization of the liposomes was conducted,and drug content,entrapment efficiency(EE),in vitro release and stability were studied by ultra-fast liquid chromatography(UFLC)and a liquid surface method.Blood was drawn from rats to establish the pharmacokinetic parameters.The anticancer effect was evaluated in a KU-19-19 bladder cancer xenograft model.Histological analyses were performed to evaluate safety.Results:The PEG-Lipo-β-E showed good stability and was characterized as 83.31±0.181 nm in size,0.279±0.004 in polydispersity index(PDI),-21.4±1.06 mV in zeta potential,6.65±0.02 in pH,5.024±0.107 mg/mL inβ-elemene(β-E)content,and 95.53±1.712%in average EE.The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)indicated the formation of PEG-Lipo-β-E.Compared to elemene injection,PEG-Lipo-β-E demonstrated a 1.75-fold decrease in clearance,a 1.62-fold increase in half-life,and a 1.76-fold increase in area under the concentration-time curves(AUCs)from 0 hour to 1.5 hours(P<0.05).PEG-Lipo-β-E also showed an enhanced anticancer effect in vivo.Histological analyses showed that there was no evidence of toxicity to the heart,kidney,liver,lung or spleen.Conclusions:The present study demonstrates PEG-Lipo-β-E as a new formulation with ease of preparation,high EE,good stability,improved bioavailability and antitumor effects. | Bingtao Zhai Qibiao Wu Wengang Wang Mingming Zhang Xuemeng Han Qiujie Li Peng Chen Xiaying Chen Xingxing Huang Guohua Li Qin Zhang Ruonan Zhang Yu Xiang Shuiping Liu Ting Duan Jianshu Lou Tian Xie Xinbing Sui | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,1: | 6 |

| 13 | Spatiotemporal variations of deep-sea sediment components and their fluxes since the last glaciation in the northern South China Sea显示文摘Sediment components and their fluxes of Cores MD12-3428(water depth: 903 m), MD12-3433(water depth: 2125 m),and MD12-3434(water depth: 2995 m), obtained along a transect on the continental slope of the northern South China Sea, have been conducted to reveal the spatiotemporal variations and the controlling factors of the sediment components and of their fluxes.Results show that deep-sea sediments in the northern South China Sea are composed mainly of terrigenous(59–89%) and carbonate(6–38%) particles, with minor components of opal(1.6–9.4%) and organic matter(0.7–1.9%). Fluxes of terrigenous and carbonate particles reach up to 2.4–21.8 and 0.4–6.5 g cm–2 kyr–1, respectively, values that are one to two orders of magnitude higher than the fluxes of opal and organic matter. Temporal variations of the percentages and fluxes of deep-sea sediment components have displayed clear glacial-interglacial cyclicity since the last glaciation. Terrigenous, opal, and organic matter percentages and their fluxes increas clearly during marine isotope stage 2, while carbonate percentages and fluxes show an opposite variation pattern or are characterized by an unremarkable increase. This implies that deep-sea carbonate in the South China Sea is affected by the dilution of terrigenous inputs during the sea-level lowstand. With increasing water depth along the transect, the terrigenous percentage increases but with largely decreased fluxes. Both the percentage and flux of carbonate decrease, while the percentages and fluxes of opal and organic matter display much more complicated variational features. The spatiotemporal variations of deep-sea sediment components and of their fluxes since the last glaciation in the northern South China Sea are strongly controlled by sea-level fluctuations. | 14 | Adsorption and Regeneration of Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs)on Coal-Based Activated Carbon by Ferric Nitrate Modification显示文摘In this study,the Heishan coal was used to prepare a series of activated carbon(AC)samples via a vapor deposition method.The effects of the Fe(NO_(3))3/coal weight ratio on the physicochemical properties of the activated carbon were systematically investigated,and the AC samples were analyzed by the N2 adsorption-desorption technique,the scanning electron microscopy,the X-ray diffraction,the Raman spectroscopy,and the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.Furthermore,the adsorption properties of ethyl acetate were investigated.The results indicated that as the Fe(NO_(3))3/coal mass ratio increased from 1:8 to 1:2,the specific surface area,the total pore volume and the micropore volume initially increased and then decreased.The specific surface area increased from 560.86 m^(2)/g to 685.90 m^(2)/g,and then decreased to 299.56 m^(2)/g.The total pore volume and micropore volume increased from 0.29 cm^(3)/g and 0.17 cm^(3)/g to 0.30 cm^(3)/g and 0.22 cm^(3)/g,and then decreased to 0.16 cm^(3)/g and 0.10 cm^(3)/g,respectively.The optimized ratio was 1:8.During the activation process,iron ions infiltrated the activated carbon to promote the development of the pore structure,the pore size of which was between 2.5 nm and 3 nm in daimeter.This approach could enhance the capacity for adsorption of ethyl acetate.It is worth noting that the ACs displaying the largest specific surface area and total pore volume(685.90 m^(2)/g and 0.30 cm^(3)/g)were formed under the optimized activation conditions(950℃,20%(volume)of CO_(2),ratio 1:5),and the maximum AC capacity for adsorption of ethyl acetate was 962.62 mg/g.After seven repeated thermal regeneration experiments,the saturated AC adsorption capacity was still above 90%. | Jin Chunjiang Chen Huimin Wang Luyuan Cheng Xingxing Sun Rongfeng | 2021 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,3: | 4 |

| 18 | Development and Evaluation of a Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification(LAMP) Assay for Rapid Detection of Chinese Giant Salamander Ranavirus显示文摘Loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP) is a novel nucleic acid diagnostic method that can amplify rapidly a target template under isothermal conditions. In this study, a LAMP assay for rapid detection of Chinese giant salamander ranavirus(CGSRV) was developed from culture isolates and clinical samples. The LAMP assay was developed by designing one set of four specific primers, targeting the major capsid protein(MCP) gene of CGSRV. Reaction time and temperature were optimal for 40 min at 62°C. The developed LAMP assay is specific and highly sensitive for CGSRV detection, the detection limit could reach about 5 copies of cloned viral genomic fragments. The sensitivity of the LAMP assay was about 1000 and 10-fold higher than that of both conventional and nested PCR, respectively. The LAMP amplification produces a typical ladder-like pattern of products on an agarose gel that can be visually inspected after addition of ethidium bromide.
