2Comparative analysis of modern and ancient buried Phoebe zhennan wood:surface color,chemical components,infrared spectroscopy,and essential oil composition显示文摘We compared the chemical components and essential oils of ancient buried Zhennan(Phoebe zhennan)wood with those in samples from living trees.After removal of the carbon layer the recovered Zhennan exhibited a dark green color,which differed from the yellow color of the living samples.Low molecular weight components(including hot-water and toluene-alcohol extractives),hemicellulose,and 1 % Na OH solubility in the recovered wood were greatly degraded.Degradation of cellulose was minor.Moreover,the ancient wood had somewhat more klason lignin than the modern wood.Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) analysis gave further evidence on the differences in chemical components.According to the GC–MS results,naphthalene derivatives were detected in the essential oils from both the modern and recovered wood.The delicate fragrance of the modern and recovered wood may be attributed to the aromatic constituents as identified by GC–MS.Jiulong Xie Jinqiu Qi Xingyan Huang Ni Zhou Yao Hu 2015Journal of Forestry Research2015,26,2:8

4TiO_2/Schwertmannite nanocomposites as superior co-catalysts in heterogeneous photo-Fenton process显示文摘The heterogeneous photo-Fenton reaction is an effective technique in combating organic contaminants for both soil and water remediation,and extensive studies have focused on enhancing its efficiency and reducing its costs.In this work,we developed novel photoFenton catalysts by simply milling commercially available TiO_2(P25)with Schwertmannite(Sh),a natural iron-oxyhydroxysulfate nanomineral.We expect that the photo-generated electrons from TiO_2could continuously migrate to Sh,which then could enhance the separation of electron-hole pairs on TiO_2and accelerate the reduction of Fe(III)to Fe(II)on Sh,leading to high degradation efficiency of the target organic contaminants.SEM and TEM results showed the distribution of TiO_2on Sh surface for the nanocomposites(TiO_2/Sh).Under simulated sunlight irradiation,the much higher content of Fe(II)was determined on TiO_2/Sh than on Sh via a common method in the iron ore,and the consumption of H_2O_2and the production of·OH were more significant in the TiO_2/Sh system than those in the TiO_2and Sh systems.These results well support our hypothesis that the photo-generated electrons could migrate from TiO_2to Sh on the composites,and can also explain the much higher degradation efficiency of Rhodamine B(RhB)in the TiO_2/Sh system.Besides,TiO_2/Sh had lower Fe dissolution as compared with Sh,and retained high catalytic stability after four repeated cycles.Above merits of the TiO_2/Sh composites,in combining with their simple synthesis method and low-cost property,indicated that they should have promising applications as heterogeneous photo-Fenton catalysts.Yanping Zhu Chun Zeng Runliang Zhu Yin Xu Xingyan Wang Huijun Zhou Jianxi Zhu Hongping He 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,6:5
5Performance Analysis and Comparison for Two Topologies of Flux-Switching Permanent Magnet Machine显示文摘Flux-switching permanent magnet(FSPM)machine is a kind of stator-typed permanent magnet machine,which is suitable for driving electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles because of their large power/torque density and high efficiency.The axial field flux-switching permanent magnet machine(AFFSPMM)and radial field flux-switching permanent magnet machine(RFFSPMM)with H-typed iron cores are reached and compared in this paper.On the condition of the same outer diameters and total volumes,the electromagnetic performances of the two machines are analyzed and compared by the three-dimensional finite element method,including the air gap flux density,inductance,back electromotive force(EMF),electromagnetic torque and loss.The finite element results show that the copper loss of AFFSPMM is higher than that of RFFSPMM at the rated load,however,the total loss of AFFSPMM is lower than that of the RFFSPMM.Meanwhile,AFFSPMM has greater torque than RFFSPMM in the constant power range.The related experiments are done to validate the finite element results,which are basically consistent with experiment results.Xu Zhang Wei Zhang Xingyan Liang Ping Lu 2020CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2020,4,3:4
6High sensitive detection of presenilin-1 point mutation based on electrochemilumi-nescence显示文摘Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) is a high- sensitive detection method with broad biological applications. Ruthenium (Ⅱ) tris (bipyridyl) 2+3(Ru(bpy)) and tripro-pylamine (TPA) are most commomly used combination of the reactive species in ECL. The redox of 2+3Ru(bpy) with excess TPA at the surface of an electrode produces a highly efficient and stable light emission due to a rapid cycle of the reactions. This rapid, highly sensitive and accurate method has been applied to gene quantification. In this work, an ECL detection system is designed and applied in detection of presenilin-1 (PS-1) gene mutation. The results show that given the same polymerase chain reaction (PCR) cycle num-ber, the ECL intensities from the digested and the undigested wild-type samples are nearly identical, but the difference in ECL intensities between the digested and the undigested mutant samples is distinctive. 7Application of immune checkpoint targets in the anti-tumor novel drugs and traditional Chinese medicine development显示文摘Immune checkpoints are the crucial regulators of immune system and play essential roles in maintaining self-tolerance,preventing autoimmune responses,and minimizing tissue damage by regulating the duration and intensity of the immune response.Furthermore,immune checkpoints are usually overexpressed in cancer cells or noninvasive cells in tumor tissues and are capable of suppressing the antitumor response.Based on substantial physiological analyses as well as preclinical and clinical studies,checkpoint molecules have been evaluated as potential therapeutic targets for the treatment of multiple types of cancers.In the last few years,extensive evidence has supported the immunoregulatory effects of traditional Chinese medicines(TCMs).The main advantage of TCMs and natural medicine is that they usually contain multiple active components,which can act on multiple targets at the same time,resulting in additive or synergistic effects.The strong immune regulation function of traditional Chinese medicine on immune checkpoints has also been of great interest.For example,Astragalus membranaceus polysaccharides can induce anti-PD-1 antibody responses in animals,and these antibodies can overcome the exhaustion of immune cells under tumor immune evasion.Furthermore,many other TCM molecules could also be novel and effective drug candidates for the treatment of cancers.Therefore,it is essential to assess the application of immune checkpoints in the development of new drugs and TCMs.In this review,we focus on research progress in the field of immune checkpoints based on three topics:(1)immune checkpoint targets and pathways,(2)development of novel immune checkpoint-based drugs,and(3)application of immune checkpoints in the development of TCMs.Yuli Wang Xingyan Zhang Yuyan Wang Wenjing Zhao Huling Li Lixing Zhang Xinping Li Tiejun Zhang Hongbing Zhang He Huang Changxiao Liu 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,10:3
8Electrochemical trepanning with uniform electrolyte flow around the entire blade profile显示文摘In the traditional machining process for diffusers, blades are easily deformed, and methods suffer from high tool wear and low efficiency. Electrochemical machining(ECM) possesses unique advantages when applied to these difficult-to-machine materials. In the ECM process, theflow field plays a crucial role. Here, an electrolyte flow mode that supplies uniform flow around the entire blade profile was adopted for electrochemical trepanning of diffusers. Various flow rates were employed to obtain the optimal flow field. Simulations were conducted using ANSYS software, and results indicated that increasing the flow rate substantially afforded a more uniform flowfield. A series of experiments was then performed, and results revealed that increasing the flow rate greatly improved both the machining efficiency and the surface quality of the diffusers. The maximum feeding rate of the cathode reached 4 mm/min, the blade taper of the concave part decreased to 0.02, and the blade roughness was reduced to 1.216 lm. 9Molecular Epidemiological Characteristics of Gastroenteritis Outbreaks Caused by Norovirus GII.4 Sydney[P31]Strains—China,October 2016–December 2020显示文摘Introduction:Human noroviruses are the leading cause of acute viral gastroenteritis(AGE)worldwide in all age groups.GII.4 strains have been the predominant genotype circulating globally over the last 2 decades and since 2012.GII.4 Sydney viruses have emerged and caused the majority of AGE outbreaks worldwide.Methods:Data from norovirus outbreaks from the laboratory-based surveillance of norovirus outbreaks in China(CaliciNet China)between October 2016–December 2020 were analyzed.Results:During October 2016–December 2020,1,954 norovirus outbreaks were reported,and positive fecal samples from 1,352(69.19%)outbreaks were genotyped.GII.4 Sydney[P31]viruses accounted for 2.1%(October 2016–August 2017),5.5%(September 2017–August 2018),3.3%(September 2018–August 2018),26.6%(September 2019–August 2020),and and 1.1%(September 2020–December 2020)of GII outbreaks,respectively.Compared to reference strains of GII.4 Sydney[P31]from 2012 to 2013,7 amino acid mutations in epitopes[A(297,372 and 373),B(333),E(414),and H(309 and 310)]and 1 in human histo-blood group antigens binding site at site II 372 were found by analyzing 9 GII.4 Sydney[P31]complete genomic sequences.Conclusions:This report identified the genomic variation of GII.4 Sydney[P31]from CaliciNet China.Continued surveillance with prompt genotyping and genetic analysis is necessary to monitor the emergence of novel GII.4 variants.Xi Zhu Yaqing He Xingyan Wei Xiangyu Kong Qing Zhang Jingxin Li Miao Jin Zhaojun Duan 2021China CDC weekly2021,3,53:3
10The 1 PW/0.1 Hz laser beamline in SULF facility显示文摘In this paper,we report the recent progress on the 1 PW/0.1 Hz laser beamline of Shanghai Superintense Ultrafast Laser Facility(SULF).The SULF-1 PW laser beamline is based on the double chirped pulse amplification(CPA)scheme,which can generate laser pulses of 50.8 J at 0.1 Hz after the final amplifier;the shot-to-shot energy fluctuation of the amplified pulse is as low as 1.2%(std).After compression,the pulse duration of 29.6 fs is achieved,which can support a maximal peak power of 1 PW.The contrast ratio at-80 ps before main pulse is measured to be 2.5×10^-11.The focused peak intensity is improved by optimizing the angular dispersion in the grating compressor.The maximal focused peak intensity can reach 2.7×10^19W/cm2 even with an f/26.5 off-axis parabolic mirror.The horizontal and vertical angular pointing fluctuations in 1 h are measured to be 1.89 and 2.45μrad,respectively.The moderate repetition rate and the good stability are desirable characteristics for lasermatter interactions.The SULF-1 PW laser beamline is now in the phase of commissioning,and preliminary experiments of particle acceleration and secondary radiation under 300–400 TW/0.1 Hz laser condition have been implemented.The progress on the experiments and the daily stable operation of the laser demonstrate the availability of the SULF-1 PW beamline.Zongxin Zhang Fenxiang Wu Jiabing Hu Xiaojun Yang Jiayan Gui Penghua Ji Xingyan Liu Cheng Wang Yanqi Liu Xiaoming Lu Yi Xu Yuxin Leng Ruxin Li Zhizhan Xu 2020High Power Laser Science and Engineering2020,8,1:2
11Applicability of cosmic-ray neutron sensor for measuring soil moisture at the agricultural-pastoral ecotone in northwest China显示文摘Accurate monitoring of soil moisture is crucial in hydrological and ecological studies.Cosmic-ray neutron sensors(CRNS)measure area-average soil moisture at field scale,filling a spatial scale gap between in-situ observations and remote sensing measurements.However,its applicability has not been assessed in the agricultural-pastoral ecotone,a data scarce semiarid and arid region in Northwest China(APENC).In this study,we calibrated and assessed the CRNS(the standard N0 method)estimates of soil moisture.Results show that Pearson correlation coefficient,RP,and the root mean square error(RMSE)between the CRNS soil moisture and the gravimetric soil moisture are 0.904 and less than 0.016 m3 m–3,respectively,indicating that the CRNS is able to estimate the area-average soil moisture well at our study site.Compared with the in-situ sensor network measurements(ECH2O sensors),the CRNS is more sensitive to the changes in moisture in its footprint,which overestimates and underestimates the soil moisture under precipitation and dry conditions,respectively.The three shape parameters a0,a1,a2 in the standard calibration equation(N0 method)are not well suited to the study area.The calibrated parameters improved the accuracy of the CRNS soil moisture estimates.Due to the lack of low gravimetric soil moisture data,performance of the calibrated N0 function is still poor in the extremely dry conditions.Moreover,aboveground biomass including vegetation biomass,canopy interception and widely developed biological soil crusts adds to the uncertainty of the CRNS soil moisture estimates.Such biomass impacts need to be taken into consideration to further improve the accuracy of soil moisture estimation by the CRNS in the data scarce areas such as agricultural-pastoral ecotone in Northwest China.Xingyan TAN Lanhui ZHANG Chansheng HE Yuzuo ZHU Zhibo HAN Xuliang LI 2020Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,11:2
12Review of dynamic performance and control strategy of supercritical CO_(2) Brayton cycle显示文摘In recent years,the supercritical carbon dioxide Brayton cycle(SCBC)has been regarded as a promising next generation power conversation system,owing to its high efficiency,compact components,applicability for various kinds of heat sources and so on.This paper makes a detailed review of the dynamic performance and control strategy of SCBC.The dynamic simulation model of SCBC is overviewed in detail including different modeling methods of the main component models and validation of system model.As the most inevitable approach to evaluate the dynamic performance of SCBC in practice,existing SCBC test benches concerning SCBC are well collected and presented.Based on these,the open loop dynamic system performances by changing different manipulated variables are reviewed and then various control methods for essential state parameters by different manipulated variables are summarized.Finally,various control strategies of load following and startup/shutdown are clearly presented.With the rapid development of artificial intelligence,combining the core mechanism model and key parameters identifi-cation based on experimental data and machine learning to obtain an accurate model within a wide range of working condition is a popular trend in modeling of SCBC.Moreover,deep reinforcement learning will be a potential method for the control strategy in SCBC.Xuan Wang Rui Wang Xingyan Bian Jinwen Cai Hua Tian Gequn Shu Xinyu Li Zheng Qin 2021Energy and AI2021,5,3:2
13Synthesis and electrochemical properties of Li[Ni_xCo_yMn_(1-x-y)]O_2 (x, y = 2/8, 3/8) cathode materials for lithium ion batteries显示文摘The uniform layered Li(Ni2/8Co3/8Mn3/8)O2, Li(Ni3/8Co2/8Mn3/8)O2, and Li(Ni3/8Co3/8Mn2/8)O2 cathode materials for lithium ion batteries were prepared using the hydroxide co-precipitation method. The effects of calcination temperature and transition metal contents on the structure and electrochemical properties of the Li-Ni-Co-Mn-O were systemically studied. The results of XRD and electrochemical performance measurement show that the ideal preparation conditions were to prepare the Li(Ni3/8Co3/8Mn2/8)O2 cathode material calcined at 900°C for 10 h. The well-ordered Li(Ni3/8Co3/8Mn2/8)O2 synthesized under the optimal conditions has the I003/I104 ratio of 1.25 and the R value of 0.48 and delivers the initial discharge capacity of 172.9 mA·h·g-1, the discharge capacity of 166.2 mA·h·g-1 after 20 cycles at 0.2C rate, and the im-pedance of 558 Ω after the first cycle. 14Characterization of graded polyurethane elastomer by FTIR显示文摘Polyurethane elastomers with graded structure were prepared in the graded temperature field. The samples were characterized by FTIR technology. The results show that the degree of microphase separation in the samples decreases with the decrease of the curing temperature. As far as the molar ratio of NH2 and NCO is concerned, the sample exhibits better graded morphology when the ratio is 0.95. 18Cu-clusters nodes of 2D metal-organic frameworks as a cost-effective noble-metal-free cocatalyst with high atom-utilization efficiency for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘Several 2D nanosheets of porphyrin MOFs with various transition-metal clusters as metal nodes were prepared via a simple solvothermal method to apply in the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution,in which the hydrogen production rate of the optimal NS-Cu was as high as 15.39 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1).A series of experimental technologies especially cyclic voltammetry(CV)and Mott-Schottky(M-S)had been adopted to investigate the charge-transfer property of photo-generated electron-hole pairs,it was found that the uniformly dispersed Cu-clusters nodes in the original 2D MOFs played a key role in the electron transfer process,that was,the photo-generated electron transferred from excited state eosin-Y to the Cu-clusters nodes for the efficient hydrogen evolution.The excellent photocatalytic performance could be attributed to the reversible oxidation-–reduction process of Cu^(Ⅱ)/Cu^(Ⅰ),which had excellent electron-receiving and electron-outputting capabilities.Our results provided a novel avenue to adapt the uniformly dispersed metal nodes in the original MOFs as cost-effective noble-metal-free cocatalysts with very high atomutilization efficiency to improve the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution performance in dye-sensitized system.Guangmei Jiang Xingyan Liu Huilong Jian Peng Lu Jinwu Bai Guizhi Zhang Wen Yun Siqi Li Youzhou He 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6:1
1913.4 fs,0.1 Hz OPCPA Front End for the 100 PW-Class Laser Facility显示文摘Here,we report the recent progress on the front end developed for the 100 PW-class laser facility.Using 3 stages of optical parametric chirped-pulse amplification(OPCPA)based on lithium triborate(LBO)crystals,we realized a 5.26 J/0.1 Hz amplified output with a bandwidth over 200 nm near the center wavelength of 925 nm.After the compressor,we obtained a pulse duration of 13.4 fs.As the compression efficiency reached 67%,this OPCPA front end could potentially support a peak power of 263 TW at a repetition rate of 0.1 Hz.To the best of our knowledge,among all the 100 TW-level OPCPA systems,it shows the widest spectral width,the shortest pulse duration,and it is also the first OPCPA system working at a repetition-rate mode.Xinliang Wang Xingyan Liu Xiaoming Lu Junchi Chen Yingbin Long Wenkai Li Haidong Chen Xun Chen Peile Bai Yanyan Li Yujie Peng Yanqi Liu Fenxiang Wu Cheng Wang Zhaoyang Li Yi Xu Xiaoyan Liang Yuxin Leng Ruxin Li 2022Ultrafast Science2022,,3:1
